U.S. Labor Secretary: Trump Admin Will Return $1.4B In Unused COVID-Era Funding To Taxpayers

As the Trump administration pushes the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to reduce waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government, U.S. Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer said this week that the agency will return more than $1 billion in unused COVID-era funds to U.S. taxpayers.

The Labor Department stated in a news release that it is currently taking “action” in order “to recover the remaining $2.9 billion,” but that $1.4 billion of unspent COVID funding will soon be “returned to taxpayers through the U.S. Department of Treasury’s General Fund.” However, it did not specify a date for either.

“The roughly $4.3 billion was intended for states to use for temporary unemployment insurance during the pandemic,” the press release states. “Instead, several states continued spending millions of dollars despite no longer meeting necessary requirements, which was uncovered in a 2023 audit conducted by the department’s Office of Inspector General.”

In the press release, Chavez-DeRemer clarified that the program is especially designed to offer expanded unemployment insurance to Americans who were unable to work during the pandemic and that the financing came from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act in March 2020.

The 2023 audit “found four states were allowed to access the funding ‘despite not meeting program requirements,’ totaling over $100 million in spending,” according to the department, which stated that the program was discontinued in 2021.

“There’s no reason leftover COVID unemployment funds should still be collecting dust,” DeRemer told Fox News. “I promised to look out for Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars, and we are delivering at the Department of Labor.”

“Any money still sitting around for pandemic-era unemployment funds is a clear misuse of Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars,” Chavez-DeRemer said in the press release, noting that they are “rooting out waste to ensure American Workers always come First.”

Deputy Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling made a statement as well.

mRNA Vaccines Linked to Genetic Changes That Can Cause Cancer, Autoimmune Disorders

A new peer-reviewed study links the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines to long-term changes in genetic structures that can provoke an inflammatory response, and lead to the onset of cancer and autoimmune disorders.

The study by 19 German scientists was published last week in Molecular Systems Biology. The researchers said their findings may account for “post vaccination inflammatory diseases which occur in a small number of vaccinated individuals.”

Journalist Alex Berenson said the study shows that mRNA vaccines can alter human chromosomes in ways linked to leukemia and brain tumors. This occurs when the mRNA vaccines “train” immune cells to sustain a pro-inflammatory immune response.

According to epidemiologist Nicolas Hulscher, “This study adds to the large body of evidence describing potent immune dysregulating effects of mRNA injections.”

Hulscher said the study raises “serious concerns about long-term immune homeostasis and the potential for chronic inflammatory disease, autoimmune sequelae, and even oncogenic processes.”

Immunologist and biochemist Jessica Rose, Ph.D., said the study confirms what is already known about the risks of mRNA vaccines. She said:

“Repeat injection leads to a boatload of immunological modifications. This is not new information. We know that these kinds of changes can occur. It is not surprising to me that they found this.

“If the systemic reach goes far enough, such as to stem cells, then repeated injection could potentially induce epigenetic changes in these cells, especially since hematopoietic stem cells are known to develop innate immune memory in response to certain stimuli like infections or other vaccines.”

Epigenetics refers to how human behavior and the environment can cause changes that affect how genes work. According to Berenson, the changes caused by the mRNA COVID-19 shots are epigenetic, as “they occur around DNA’s core and activate genes in ways that can promote tumor growth.”

“The risk here is, of course, prolonged and excessive inflammation, which might contribute to tissue damage or chronic inflammatory conditions in some contexts, which we do see in pharmacovigilance data,” Rose said.

In 2025, WebMD Claims COVID Vax ‘Still Crucial for Children’

WebMD — the last place any sane person would turn to for medical advice — has come out with a whopper of a doozy of a COVID shot propaganda piece, befitting more 2021 than 2025.

With all we now know — objectively, quantitatively — about the unprecedented dangers of the shots coupled with the minimal, infinitesimally tiny risk that the COVID infection poses to children, one might expect a least a modicum of nuance from WebMD.

But no.

Presenting “Why COVID Vaccination Is Still Crucial for Children,” via Web MD (emphasis added):

Vaccinated children are much less likely to develop “long COVID” than are unvaccinated children, according to a new study that researchers hope will convince parents to keep kids’ immunizations up to date.

Many parents don’t get their children vaccinated against COVID-19 because pediatric cases are generally mild. But the study of post-COVID condition (PCC), as scientists call long COVID, supports continued vigilance*, researchers say.

*”Continued vigilance” means keeping parents in a state of perpetual fear.

The new study looked at children ages 5 to 17 in four states from July 2021 through May 2023. If they’d been vaccinated prior to infection, their chances of developing one or more PCC symptoms were reduced by 57%…

Of the 622 children who had at least one positive COVID test during the study period, 28 (5%) reported PCC symptoms and 594 (95%) didn’t report any during the follow-up period.”

“Of the children with PCC in the study, 57% had been vaccinated.

57% of the kids in the study who allegedly had long COVID symptoms were vaccinated, which somehow wasn’t the headline.

Bombshell: Prosecutors Question Timing of Pfizer Announcement Released Just After 2020 Election

Just two days after Democrat Joe Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election, drugmaker Pfizer announced its COVID-19 vaccine proved effective in protecting people from the sickness.

Then-President Donald Trump questioned the timing of the announcement, saying, “Pfizer and others even decided to not assess the results of their vaccine, in other words, not come out with the vaccine until just after the election.”

He suggested the delay was payback for Trump’s effort to rein in the cost of medications for elderly patients.

“[It’s] because of what I did with favored nations and these other elements,” he said.

In September 2020, Trump signed an executive order benchmarking the price Americans pay through Medicare for prescription drugs to the cost of those same drugs in other markets outside the U.S.

Trump asserted that the original plan called for the COVID vaccine data to be released in October.

Pfizer’s CEO Albert Bourla, in fact, told NBC’s “Today” at the time that his company would know whether the vaccine worked by the end of October.

‘Entirely Man-made’: Former U.K. Prime Minister Now Says COVID Leaked From Lab

Former U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson says the COVID-19 pandemic resulted from a lab leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“The awful thing about the whole COVID catastrophe is that it appears to be entirely man-made in all its aspects,” Johnson wrote in his new memoir, “Unleashed.”

“Some scientists were clearly splicing bits of virus together like the witches in Macbeth — eye of bat and toe of frog — and oops, the frisky little critter jumped out of the test tube and started replicating all over the world,” Johnson wrote.

YouTube medical commentator John Campbell, Ph.D., agreed. “I couldn’t have put it better myself,” Campbell said on the latest episode of his YouTube program.

Johnson previously in public supported the theory that the pandemic was the result of animal-to-human transmission in a Wuhan animal market. He now says the U.K. fought the “anthropogenic disease” with “a growing panoply of restrictions that were literally medieval in their savagery and their consequences.”

Campbell praised Johnson for his honesty, calling it essential for restoring trust, though he doubted it would be enough.

The Daily Mail, which published Johnson’s remarks, also reported that COBRA, the U.K. government’s “secret emergency committee,” analyzed intelligence that pointed to the validity of the lab leak theory during the pandemic. The committee noted a “deafening” silence on their findings from the scientific and political community at the time.

“We actually know more by what is not said than what is said,” Campbell said, “because very often what is said is controlled.”

Campbell presented some of the key findings from the U.S. congressional report, “After Action Review of the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Lessons Learned and a Path Forward,” published in December 2024. The report also found the virus “most likely” emerged from a lab.

North Carolina family can sue over COVID-19 vaccine administered without consent, court rules

A North Carolina mother and her son can sue a public school system and a doctors’ group for allegedly giving the boy a COVID-19 vaccine without consent, the state Supreme Court ruled.

The ruling handed down Friday reverses a lower-court decision that a federal health emergency law prevented Emily Happel and her son Tanner Smith from filing a lawsuit.

Both a trial judge and the state Court of Appeals had ruled against the two, who sought litigation after Smith received an unwanted vaccine during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

Smith was vaccinated in August 2021 at age 14 despite his opposition at a testing and vaccination clinic at a Guilford County high school, according to the family’s lawsuit.
