More Blood on the Hands of Sanctuary States: Oregon Issued Driver’s License to Honduran Illegal Alien Who Killed 8-Year-Old Idaho Girl in Horrific Hit-and-Run

An 8-year-old girl was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Boise, Idaho, by an illegal immigrant from Honduras who had been allowed to remain in the country for nearly a decade despite a deportation order.

Ramos-Caballero, 39, was able to obtain a driver’s license from the neighboring sanctuary state of Oregon, which allowed him to “legally” operate the vehicle that killed the young girl, Mora Gerety.

The incident occurred on November 11, just before 4:45 p.m., at the intersection of North Harrison Boulevard and West Ada Street.

Gerety, a student at Washington Elementary School, was crossing the street when the pickup truck driven by Ramos-Caballero hit her.

The illegal alien fled the scene, not rendering any aid to the child.

Gerety was rushed to St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center, where she succumbed to multiple blunt force injuries despite lifesaving efforts.

Ramos-Caballero was arrested the same day and charged with hit-and-run resulting in death. He was subsequently taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

According to a press release from the Department of Homeland Security, “This illegal alien was given a license by the sanctuary state of Oregon. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested Ramos-Caballero on November 11, 2025. Ramos-Caballero illegally entered the U.S. in September 2015 and was released into the country by the Obama administration. He never showed up for his immigration hearing and was ordered removed in absentia on May 9, 2016.”

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin blasted the situation in a statement.

‘Free to express opinions’: Oregon district pays $650,000 to settle with educators who objected to trans lessons

Schools ‘can’t retaliate against speech simply because they disagree with what’s said.’

An Oregon school district has agreed to pay $650,000 to settle with two educators who were punished, then fired, for speaking out against the injurious transgender agenda the district was adopting.

The trans ideology as promoted by Joe Biden and his administration for years includes giving chemicals to children to delay puberty, then doing mutilating body surgeries on the child.

Grants Pass, Ore., educators Katie Medart and Rachel Sager had launched a grassroots movement called “I Resolve” to speak out on a school gender identity education policy, and to offer alternatives that would allow teachers to continue teaching without submitting their religious beliefs to the social agenda.

And one that would respect the rights of parents to know what their children were being given in school.

They posted a video on their own website promoting their beliefs and efforts.

Subsequently, Grants Pass School District 7 officials suspended them, then fired them.

“Educators are free to express opinions on fundamental issues of public concern—like gender identity education policy—that implicate the freedoms of teachers, parents, and students,” said Mathew Hoffman, of the ADF, which represented the teachers along with the Pacific Justice Institute.

“The Grants Pass School District is taking the right step by acknowledging that teachers don’t give up their First Amendment rights when they set foot on school property. Public schools can’t retaliate against speech simply because they disagree with what’s said.”

Sager and Medart have worked in the education field for many years, including at North Middle School in Grants Pass. Sager served as assistant principal, and Medart taught science there, the legal teams explained.

Their legal action charging the school violated their free speech, religious freedom and equal protection rights was settled with the district agreeing to pay $650,000 in damages and attorneys’ fees.

JUST IN: Judge Immergut Permanently Blocks Trump From Deploying National Guard Troops to Portland

Judge Karin Immergut issued a permanent injunction blocking President Trump from deploying National Guard troops to Oregon.

Last month a federal appeals court temporarily blocked President Trump from deploying Oregon National Guard troops to Portland after a judge issued a Temporary Retraining Order (TRO).

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals temporarily reinstated Judge Karin Immergut’s TRO last month after it halted an order issued by a three-judge panel from the court.

President Trump previously called up hundreds of California National Guard Troops to Portland to circumvent the judge’s order blocking Oregon National Guard Troop deployment.

Trump also activated up to 400 Texas National Guard troops for deployment to Oregon, Illinois and other states amid violent, anti-ICE protests.

On Friday evening, Immergut issued a permanent injunction and blocked Trump from deploying troops to Portland.

Trump can appeal Immergut’s ruling.

NBC News reported:

A federal judge in Oregon on Friday issued a permanent injunction barring the Trump administration from deploying the National Guard on the streets of Portland in response to protests against the president’s immigration policies.

“This Court arrives at the necessary conclusion that there was neither ‘a rebellion or danger of a rebellion’ nor was the President ‘unable with the regular forces to execute the laws of the United States’ in Oregon when he ordered the federalization and deployment of the National Guard,” U.S. District Judge Karin J. Immergut, who was appointed by President Donald Trump in his first term, wrote in her ruling.

Woke Portland Politician Who Demanded “Unhoused Neighbors” Be Given a Place to Sleep Has Home Torched by Homeless Person

A Portland Democrat who once called for homeless individuals to be given housing suffered an ironic and cruel twist of fate last week.

As The Oregonian reported, 51-year-old homeless man Vashon Locust was arrested on Tuesday after starting a fire that torched Portland City Councilor Candace Avalos’ townhome and car.

He faces charges of reckless burning, second-degree mischief, and trespassing. These are all misdemeanors.

According to a police affidavit obtained by the paper, Locust snuck into a shed near Avalos’ home on October 26 and attempted to use an electric outlet.

When that failed, he set a fire to stay warm, but he later claimed that it got out of control and tried to put it out.

“He shared that it was very cold that night and his clothing was wet,” the affidavit reads. “Locust attempted to extinguish the fire with his foot.”

Locust then fled to a nearby church.

On October 28, Locust allegedly returned to the scene of the crime to inspect the remains.

Avalos and her cat managed to escape the incident unharmed. She claimed afterward that she was targeted for her political beliefs.

Whatever the cause, this didn’t happen in a vacuum,” she wrote. “In our current national context, it’s hard not to connect this moment to everything happening around us — the threats, the division, the way public service sometimes puts a target on your back.”

The Daily Mail notes that Avalos has long been an apologist for Portland’s homeless population.

She even wrote a column in 2021 titled: “Our unhoused neighbors deserve a safe and clean place to sleep.”

Locust has been arrested more than 50 times for various felony and misdemeanor charges since 2006, according to court records obtained by The Oregonian.

His most recent arrest occurred in February. In this incident, a woman in North Portland reported that Locust would not leave her property and chased her while waving around a stick.

The Oregonian notes that Locust has not been arraigned on the reckless burning charge at this point, and no attorney has been assigned to his case.

He remains in jail until his first court appearance.

Oregon declines criminal investigation into those who illegally voted

Oregon election officials announced that they will not pursue criminal investigations against the dozens of non-citizens who illegally cast ballots in elections in recent years after they were unlawfully registered to vote due to a DMV clerical error.

According to a statement from the Oregon Secretary of State, the decision rests on the fact that the non-citizens allegedly did not knowingly violate election laws or were either eligible to vote at the time they did. “The Secretary of State’s Office will not refer anyone for criminal prosecution because the DMV mistakenly registered them to vote,” the statement reads. “A clerical error at DMV caused these mistaken registrations, not the unlawful actions of any of the people registered.”

This comes after a last year investigation revealed that at least 1,863 individuals were unlawfully registered to vote under the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) voter registration system. Hundreds of those individuals were determined to be non-citizens. Oregon law allows anyone to obtain a driver’s license despite immigration status. The error occurred when DMV staff mistakenly selected “US passport” or “US birth certificate” while entering documentation data for individuals applying for driver’s licenses. This error led to non-citizens being added to the voter registration system.

39 of the 1,863 individuals who were unlawfully registered, many of whom were noncitizens, had cast ballots in elections in recent years, the Oregonian reported. Election authorities argued that the number of people who voted illegally did not affect the outcome of an election, giving them another excuse to avoid inquiries.

At least three individuals were referred to the Oregon Department of Justice (DOJ) for a criminal probe due to the Secretary of State’s Office stating that they had not responded to their inquiry about voting history. However, the state DOJ decided not to proceed with the investigations.

Oregon Dem Melissa Fireside declared international fugitive after fleeing US with young son, could be headed to Austria: authorities

An Oregon Democratic politician is now an international fugitive from justice after fleeing the country with her young son when she was charged with bilking an elderly man out of $30,000, authorities said.

Democrat Melissa Fireside, an ex-Clackamas County commissioner, crossed the border into Mexico on a fake passport and booked a ticket for Austria after going on the run with her 9-year-old son, Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield said Friday.

“Our top concern right now is the safety and well-being of this child,” Rayfield said.

“We are working closely with law enforcement partners here and at the federal level to locate Ms. Fireside and ensure she is held accountable under Oregon law.”

Fireside was free on conditional release while facing charges that she stole from her mom’s 83-year-old boyfriend when she disappeared, The Oregonian reported.

“No one should be able to evade justice by crossing a border,” he added.

Fireside was charged in March with aggravated theft, forgery and other crimes for allegedly ripping off retired Safeway employee Arthur Petrone, her mom’s beau, by applying for a loan using his name.

Petrone, who died in August, lived on his pension and Social Security payments.

Fireside pleaded not guilty at her arraignment and was allowed to remain free on the condition that she not leave the state and show up for court hearings.

However, the state justice department on Friday filed a motion to revoke Fireside’s bail after investigators determined that she wasn’t living at her Lexington, Oregon, home — a violation of the terms of her release, the attorney general said.

Portland’s Sudden Cleanup of Antifa Camp Is Just Kabuki Theater to Convince Courts to Keep Blocking ICE

Something odd happened over the weekend in Portland. Law enforcement and city workers started cleaning up Antifa’s anti-ICE camp. For whatever reason, the woke city finally mustered the backbone to dismantle the festering Antifa encampment that’s been terrorizing the city’s ICE facility for nearly half a year.

Starting Sunday, Oregon State Troopers and Portland Police descended on the site like a long-overdue reckoning, blocking roads, hauling away mountains of leftist litter in box trucks, and sending the black-clad anarchists scattering down the rainy streets. Did the rule of law finally make an appearance in the conscience of city officials? No. They’re doing this to convince the courts to continue blocking federal intervention.

They’re doing it to try to stop President Donald Trump from sending in the agents and troops.

State of Oregon to Spend More on Program That Offers Free Healthcare to Illegal Aliens Than Entire Budget of State Police

Democrats keep insisting that they are not keeping the government shut down over healthcare for illegal aliens, but the evidence contradicts them.

Everyone knows they want that.

Just look at what is happening in the Democrat-led state of Oregon. The state is about to spend more on healthcare for illegal aliens than they spend on their state police, and not by a small amount. We’re talking hundreds of millions of dollars.

Breitbart News reports:

Report: Dem-Led Oregon on Track to Spend $500 Million More for Healthcare Program that Includes Illegals than for State Police

The Democrat-led state of Oregon is on track to spend $500 million more on a program that includes free health care for illegal migrants than on its state police budget, according to reports.

According to state reports, the Healthier Oregon Program (HOP) has a budget currently set at $1.3 billion. The program, which launched in 2022, has seen a rise of 1,100 percent in costs since it launched. Meanwhile, the Oregon State Police have a budget of just over $717 million.

The Oregon Health Authority website says, “Starting July 1, 2023, immigration/citizenship status no longer affects whether someone qualifies for OHP [Full Oregon Health Plan].”

Assistant Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin blasted the state for its obscenely lopsided budgeting.

“Absurd. Oregon will spend $500 million+ MORE on free health care for immigrants regardless of legal status than on state police in its current budget period,” McLaughlin wrote in a post on X on Tuesday.

This is one of the reasons why Democrats are losing the optics battle in the shutdown. They can claim until they’re blue in the face that they’re not trying to fund healthcare for illegals, but everyone knows it’s something that they want and believe in.

Supreme Court Won’t Hear Project Veritas Challenge to State Law Blocking Secret Recording

The Supreme Court has decided against hearing an investigative journalism organization’s First Amendment-based challenge to a decades-old Oregon law prohibiting most secret recordings of oral conversations.

Undercover journalism group Project Veritas had argued that the state’s conversational privacy statute violated the First Amendment. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled 9–2 in January that the law did not violate the group’s free speech rights.

The Supreme Court dismissed the petition in Project Veritas v. Vasquez without comment in an unsigned order on Oct. 6. No justices dissented.

The respondents were sued in their official capacities. One is Nathan Vasquez, district attorney for Multnomah County, Oregon; the other is Dan Rayfield, attorney general of Oregon.

In its April 7 petition, Project Veritas described Oregon’s audio recording law as “a national outlier” because it requires that “anyone in almost any conversation [be informed] that their words are being recorded.”

This requirement “severely hampers modern investigative journalism” and undermines the First Amendment “by effectively prohibiting the use of today’s most powerful reporting tools—discreet audio recordings,” the petition states.

Portland Antifa DECLARES WAR on U.S. Military — Calls for Mass LASER Attack on Helicopters Over Portland ICE Facility This Saturday, October 11th

The radical Antifa militants infesting Portland have issued a brazen call to arms: a coordinated “laser party” aimed at blinding and potentially crashing U.S. military helicopters patrolling the skies over the city’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility.

Independent journalist Andy Ngo reported the blog’s announcement and said organizers urged participants to converge at different vantage points across the city and “unleash your beam at the cop copter.”

According to the announcement:

YOU’RE INVITED: LASER TAG!

Every night for weeks we are forced to listen to the threatening rhythm of helicopter blades as the federal regime spies on us. The only limit power knows is our refusal to submit.

This Saturday, October 11th, at 9pm you are invited to fight back. All you need is a laser. Leave home – they can see where the laser is coming from. Go to a park, a field, or some other public place, and once the clock strikes 9 unleash your beam at the cop copter. Mask up. Coordinate with friends to throw a laser party!

Let’s take back the night together! It won’t take many of us to ground the helicopters!

The spread of accessible acts of resistance, scattered around the city, can cause significant disruption while being difficult (if not outright impossible) to control. Actions that aim at destroying the capacity of our enemies to enforce control in simple and concrete ways can make more daring actions possible.

The Portland Police also use aerial surveillance to target protests and usually have one of their Cessna spy planes in the sky. In 2020 and 2021, PPB used the plane to target specific protesters for arrest. Let’s blind all the eyes in the sky!

During the uprising in Chile in 2019, lasers were used to take down a police drone. It is unlikely that a single laser would have much effect, but many working together can clearly blind cameras and sensors or even force the drone down to earth entirely.

Lasers have the clear downside of being easily traced back to their source, especially from the air. If enough lasers are pointed at the aircraft, we think it will not be able to safely stay in the air for long enough to continue to pinpoint the source for law enforcement, and numbers will make it difficult to focus on a single person. Be ready to dispose of the laser if you need to – wear gloves and clean it with alcohol in case you have to toss it in a hurry. Consider taking precautions to keep DNA off of it as well.

Besides, lasers just look cool!
