Mitt Romney Breaks His Silence on His Sister-In-Law’s Sudden Death as Potentially Important New Details Emerge

Former Senator and two-time Presidential candidate Mitt Romney is speaking out after his sister-in-law’s sudden death as the story continues to develop.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Romney’s sister-in-law, Carrie Elizabeth Romney, was found dead near a parking garage in Valencia, California.

Authorities responded to a call on Friday night on reports of a dead woman near a parking garage.

The woman, later identified as Carrie Romney, either jumped or fell off a five-story structure near the Valencia Town Center mall. The 64-year-old died on scene.

“We don’t know if it was suicide or accidental. There is not enough information to go by yet on what the coroner has given us so far.” LA County Sheriff’s spokesman Lieutenant Daniel Vizcarra told the Daily Mail.

Authorities do not suspect foul play was involved in the incident, however.

Mitt Romney responded to the incident by expressing his sorrow for what happened.

“Our family is heartbroken by the loss of Carrie, who brought warmth and love to all our lives. We ask for privacy during this difficult time,” he said.

Now, the Daily Mail has exclusively revealed a few critical new details on Carrie Romney that may have contributed to her death.

On May 25, this year, Mitt’s brother, George Scott Romney, who goes by his middle name, separated from Carrie. He then filed for divorce on June 10 after just over eight years of marriage.

Scott claimed “irreconcilable differences” in the divorce filing and said that the majority of the couple’s assets were acquired separately, before their marriage, according to the records obtained by the Daily Mail.

Scott also rejected Carrie’s request for spousal support. She later tried to restore her maiden name, Carrie Elizabeth Dimas.

Scott and Carrie got married on November 26, 2016. They did not have children together.

The 84-year-old Scott Romney, a lawyer and politician, is the father of former RNC chairman Ronna McDaniel through his first marriage.

In September 2023, Mitt Romney announced he would not seek reelection to the US Senate.

“At the end of another term, I’d be in my mid-80s,” Romney, who was 76 at the time, said. “Frankly, it’s time for a new generation of leaders.

“They’re the ones that need to make the decisions that will shape the world they will be living in.”

Mystery deepens over aide who set herself on fire as congressman cancels events and police withhold records

After one of his staffers died from dousing herself with gasoline and catching fire, a Texas Congressman has canceled all media events – seemingly to avoid questions about her death.

Regina Santos-Aviles, 35, poured gasoline on herself before she became engulfed in flames at her home on September 13 in Uvalde, Texas – about two hours outside of San Antonio.

The married mother of one, who was separated from her husband according to the San Antonio Express News, had worked for Republican Rep. Tony Gonzales as regional district director since 2021.

‘The last thing she said is, “I don’t want to die,”‘ Aviles’ mother Nora Gonzales told the Express News

She was airlifted to San Antonio, where she died at the hospital the next day.

Investigators have yet to determine her cause of death, with the medical examiner telling Daily Mail Thursday that the autopsy results are still pending.

However, Uvalde police believe she was alone in her backyard when she started to burn, according to the Express News, who reported her death as a self-immolation.

Days after her death, the media was disinvited to an event where Gonzales would be face-to-face with reporters.

Gonzales had been scheduled to visit Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio for the opening of a new research facility September 22.

22 People Connected To Jeffrey Epstein Have Died Under Mysterious Circumstances

Twenty-two people who were linked to late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have died under mysterious circumstances.

Prior to his death in 2022 at 77, financier Steven Hoffenberg revealed in a final account to the National Enquirer that Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted pedophile’s recruiting madam, had been “taping” honey-trap videos of VIPs with underage girls for a group of deep-state blackmailing power brokers.

Maxwell is serving 20 years for trafficking, but was moved to a cushy, minimum-security facility after meeting with Trump’s former personal lawyer.

Epstein died at 66 in August 2019. He was found hanging inside his New York City jail cell in what officials considered suicide, though his brother, Mark Epstein, believes he was murdered.

The late sex offender’s very last cellmate, Efrain “Stone” Reyes, died at 51 of COVID in November 2020, weeks after talking with federal investigators probing his cellmate’s death. Reyes was transferred out of Epstein’s cell one day before his death.

Three of Epstein’s accusers also suspiciously died, including Virginia Giuffre, who was found dead on April 25 due to an apparent suicide.

Bodies found in Mexico may be missing Colombian musicians

Mexican authorities have recovered two bodies that match the description of the Colombian musicians reported missing a week ago in the country, the prosecutor’s office in the state of Mexico said on Monday.

Forensic tests were underway to obtain official confirmation of the identities of the deceased, the prosecutor’s office said.

Earlier on Monday, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said that local authorities were investigating the whereabouts of reggaeton artist Bayron Sanchez, known as B-King, and Jorge Herrera, a DJ who performed under the name Regio Clown, after Colombian President Gustavo Petro requested Sheinbaum’s aid in locating them.

In a social media post on Monday afternoon, Petro appeared to confirm the musicians’ deaths by sharing a news article saying their bodies were found, blaming an “international mafia” that he said had been strengthened by the “war on drugs.”

“More young people killed by an anti-drug policy that is not an anti-drug policy,” Petro wrote.

On Sunday, the prosecutor’s office in Mexico City, which borders the state of Mexico, said the two artists were last seen on September 16 in Polanco, a high-end neighborhood in the Mexican capital.

Colin Kaepernick to pay for independent autopsy for Delta State University student found dead on campus

Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick said he will pay for an independent autopsy for the Delta State University (DSU) student who was found dead on campus, civil rights attorney Ben Crump announced Friday.

The attorney said the second, independent autopsy for Demartravion “Trey” Reed will be sought after the state medical examiner releases his body.

On Thursday, Cleveland Police Department (CPD) officials said the Mississippi State Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy on Sept. 17 and determined the cause of death was hanging, concluding the action to be suicide. CPD Officials added that final toxicology results are underway and may take two to four weeks to finish.

According to DSU officials, university police and local authorities were immediately notified after staff found the body hanging from a tree near the campus pickleball courts at around 7 a.m. on Sept. 15. Classes were canceled for the day.

University officials confirmed the identity of the deceased 21-year-old student to be Reed of Grenada, Mississippi. DSU Police Chief Mike Peeler said that there was no evidence of foul play.

The Bolivar County Coroner’s Office released a statement Monday saying it is conducting a “thorough death investigation,” and an initial examination revealed no evidence to suggest Reed was attacked before his death.

However, Crump said Reed’s family has serious concerns “after receiving conflicting accounts and incomplete information about the circumstances of his death.”

“Trey’s death evoked the collective memory of a community that has suffered a historic wound over many, many years and many, many deaths,” he said in a statement. “Peace will come only by getting to the truth. We thank Colin Kaepernick for supporting this grieving family and the cause of justice and truth.”

The second autopsy will be funded by the Colin Kaepernick “Know Your Rights Camp Autopsy Initiative.”

Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI), were assisting in the investigation.

The MBI did not have an official statement on Reed’s death. They also said they would not provide Reed’s autopsy report through a public records request.

CPD officials said investigation materials have been given to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and The U.S. Attorney Office for review.

Congressional staffer, 35, dies after CATCHING FIRE at her Texas home… as her eerie last words are revealed

Police are probing the death of a congressional staffer who was found on fire at her home in Texas.

Regina Santos-Aviles, 35, was discovered by her mother, who called emergency crews to the Uvalde residence on the evening of September 13.

She was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center but died from her injuries the next morning, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Santos-Aviles, remembered by friends and family as a ‘devoted mother’ to her eight-year-old son, had served as the regional district director for Republican US Representative Tony Gonzales since 2021.

Uvalde Police Chief Homer Delgado said there was no indication of foul play, but the Texas Rangers are helping complete their investigation.

Santos-Aviles’s mother, Nora Ann Gonzales, described the incident as a tragic accident and that her daughter’s final words were: ‘I don’t want to die.’

‘When we arrived, we learned of a fire behind the residence that had been put out with a fire extinguisher,’ the fire department chief Mario Rangel told the San Antonio Express-News.

In a statement, Congressman Tony Gonzales said: ‘We are all heart-stricken by the recent news.

‘Regina devoted her profession toward making a difference in her community.

‘She will always be remembered for her passion towards Uvalde and helping the community become a better place.’

Police said they were called to Santos-Aviles’s home in Uvalde at around 9.30pm, according to a call sheet obtained by KSAT.

The Uvalde Volunteer Fire Department also received a call at 9.39pm for an ‘individual who was on fire.’

The call was canceled but firefighters still attended to the home since it was close to the station.

By the time they arrived, the fire had been put out.

Fire department chief Mario Rangel said: ‘At the same time, EMS personnel were attending to a female who had suffered burns.

‘She was transported by EMS and, at some point, flown to a San Antonio hospital.’

Dismembered body found in singer D4vd’s abandoned Tesla ID’d as teen girl

The dismembered corpse found rotting in Bronx-born singer D4vd’s abandoned Tesla in California was identified as a teenage girl, Los Angeles authorities confirmed on Tuesday.

The female victim, whose identity wasn’t announced pending her family’s notification, was between 14 and 15 years old, sources told ABC 7.

The petite teen, standing at 5 feet 2 inches, was previously described as having wavy black hair and weighing around 71 pounds — roughly 20 pounds less than an average girl of her stature should weigh.

She was found wearing a tube top with black leggings and a yellow bracelet with similar metal stud earrings. She also had a tattoo on her right index finger that read “Shhh…”

Her body was wrapped in plastic and locked in the Tesla’s trunk, where her corpse baked in the California heat for at least five days. The body was so badly decomposed that it wasn’t fully intact and was first reported to authorities because the car itself started to emit a “foul odor.”

D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, found himself at the center of the gruesome discovery after authorities linked the impounded, Texas-plated Tesla back to him. Burke has been cooperating with police as he continues his world tour.
