Operation Twin Shield uncovers 275 cases of suspected immigration fraud in Minnesota, feds announce

Federal authorities announced today they have completed Operation Twin Shield, the first wave of a new crackdown on immigration fraud in Minnesota.

In a press briefing, Director Joseph B. Edlow of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) said the immigration enforcement effort investigated more than 1,000 cases and its findings “should shock all of America.”

Operation Twin Shield began on Sept. 19 and involved federal authorities conducting site visits across the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. The operation was coordinated by USCIS, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the FBI.

“Our officers encountered blatant marriage fraud, visa overstays, people claiming to work at businesses that can’t be found, forged documents, abuse of the H1-B visa system, abuse of the F-1 visas, and many other discrepancies,” said Edlow.

According to Edlow, authorities found indications of fraud, noncompliance, or public safety concerns in 275 cases.

“In one case officers identified an alien who had overstayed his visa waiver, who was the son of a known or suspected terrorist on the no-fly list,” said Edlow. “He had previously been found to have engaged in marriage fraud which resulted in the denial of several immigration benefit requests.”

Edlow said that alien was arrested and is now being sent back to his country of origin.

“In another, an individual admitted to obtaining a fake death certificate in Kenya for just $100 to prove he was no longer married,” said Edlow. “In reality, his wife is alive, living here in Minneapolis, and is the mother of five of his children. And incidentally, he has another wife living in Sweden with whom he has an additional three children.”

‘Male pitcher’: Minnesota’s transgender radicalism lands state in violation of Title IX

The transgender radicalism in the state of Minnesota, run by Democrat Gov. Tim Walz, has landed the state in violation of federal law.

Officials there have been given 10 days by the Department of Education to comply with the federal Title IX statute or face a Department of Justice referral.

It’s because the state’s transgender agenda that infringes on the rights of girls has allowed a boy to be on a girls’ high school softball team.

The violation notice also confirmed that the state has let males into girls’ alpine skiing, girls’ Nordic skiing, girls’ lacrosse, girls’ track and field and girls’ volleyball teams.

“For too many years, Minnesota’s political leadership has found itself on the wrong side of justice, common sense, and the American people. Now the Minnesota Department of Education and the Minnesota State High School League find themselves on the wrong side of Title IX by allowing males to compete in women’s sports,” explained Craig Trainor, the DOE acting assistant secretary of civil rights.

“The Trump Administration will not allow Minnesota or any other state to sacrifice the safety, fair treatment, and dignity of its female students to appease the false idols of radical gender ideology. Once an education program or entity takes federal funds, Title IX compliance becomes mandatory. And the federal government will hold Minnesota accountable until it recognizes that fact.”

The state was allowed 10 days to change its policies to comply with federal law.

report from Fox News said it also must comply with President Donald Trump’s “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” order.

The determination of violation came from both the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services.

Tim Walz: ‘Not Acceptable’ that Minnesota Republicans Refuse to ‘Vote on Gun Bans’

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) gave an update on his most recent state-level gun control push, claiming it is “not acceptable” that Republican members of the legislature refuse to “vote on gun bans.”

FOX 9 reported Walz’s comments, in which he said, “I guess there is a line in the sand. I was told by Republican leadership that there would never be a vote on guns, there wouldn’t be a vote on gun bans.”

He said the Republican position is “not acceptable” and not the kind of “compromise” he wanted from lawmakers.

Walz went on to say he believes the Republican legislators are now being called by families from Annunciation Catholic school–which was attacked by a transgender shooter August 27–and he hopes that results in Republicans coming to the table.

Breitbart News noted that Walz held a presser outside a Minnesota elementary school on September 2 where he said he would be calling up the legislature for an emergency gun control session. FOX 9 quoted Walz saying, “The thing that makes America unique in terms of shootings is we just have more guns and the wrong types of guns are on the streets.”

Feds Charge Somalis with Massive $8.4 Million Medicaid Fraud

The U.S. attorney in Minnesota announced charges against eight Somali migrants connected to $8.4 million in Medicaid billing fraud hidden inside a state-funded housing program.

U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson announced Thursday that an investigation found that the eight suspects provided Medicaid with long lists of “clients” who they claimed to have worked with to enroll into Minnesota’s Housing Stabilization Service and billed Medicaid for this work. But, investigators say that no such work was ever performed and the clients were fictional.

The HSS fraud only adds to the growing number of fraudulent and mismanaged state programs, including the hundreds of autism clinics that wasted tens of millions in state tax dollars, and the $250 million fraud in a coronavirus relief program that was supposed to pay for food for children.

“Most of these individuals did not receive the stable housing they so desperately needed,” Thompson said during a Thursday press conference said. “The money was just simply stolen.”

America’s wokest DA launches shocking new soft-on-crime policy set to make Minneapolis even more dangerous

A District Attorney dubbed the ‘wokest’ in the country has launched a new ‘soft-on-crime’ policy that is set to make her city even more dangerous.

The controversial change introduced by Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty takes effect October 15.

Under the new policy, if police pull someone over for a minor issue like a broken taillight and then find illegal drugs or a gun, the county attorney’s office will no longer press charges.

Moriarty is unapologetic, claiming the stops disproportionately target black and brown drivers, rarely result in serious convictions and are ineffective at recovering contraband or improving safety.

‘Non-public-safety traffic stops do not protect public safety, and they actively harm our community,’ Moriarty said on Wednesday. ‘This policy is grounded in research and best practices.

‘This policy is grounded in research and best practices that clearly demonstrate these stops deeply undermine community trust, which has a significant negative impact on law enforcement’s ability to investigate crime and our ability to prosecute cases.’

Under the new policy, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office will decline to prosecute felony charges, including weapons or narcotics possession, if they result from stops based solely on infractions like a broken headlight, missing side mirror, or cracked windshield.

Exceptions will be made only in cases involving clear public safety threats.

Other infractions that will now be overlooked include, expired plates, a broken tail light, items dangling from the rearview mirror, excessively tinted windows, failure to signal a turn and a dim license plate light.

A Dodge Charger EV Driver Got a Ticket for a Loud Exhaust

he Dodge Charger EV does not have an exhaust; it is an electric car. It may sometimes make noises like it does, but it doesn’t, and that can make it awkward when a police officer pulls you over for allegedly creating a public nuisance with a “super loud” muffler—just as one state trooper did to a Charger EV owner named Mike earlier this summer in Minnesota.

We got in touch with Mike, who posted part of the incident on Instagram. He told us that he was driving through Stillwater, a city that has a strict noise ordinance, with a group of car enthusiasts. He stopped at an intersection, “about eight cars deep,” and when the light turned green, he said the lead car “peeled away loud as hell.”

“I was left at the stoplight with a red light,” Mike told The Drive. “I looked to my left, and there was a state trooper across the street from me. He passed me and whipped a U-turn. Came up behind me as the light turned green and followed me into a gas station and lit me up. Initiated a traffic stop.”

“The trooper stepped up and immediately told me my car’s exhaust was way too loud and was disturbing the peace,” Mike continued. “I tried telling him it’s an EV and doesn’t have an exhaust or an engine, and he stated he’s not gonna argue with me.”

Minneapolis Dems: We Know Our Election Was Rigged But Let’s Keep The Results Anyway

The voting process at the Minneapolis Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party convention in July was such a mess that state DFL leadership investigated and nullified the local party’s endorsements. Now the Minneapolis DFL wants the state DFL to restore the results it nullified and give the endorsement back to DFL candidate Omar Fateh, a member of the Democrat Socialists of America (DSA), KSTP Television reports.

Fateh is challenging incumbent DFL Mayor Jacob Frey, who came in second in the shady Minneapolis endorsement convention.

The Federalist previously reported that the Minnesota DFL’s Constitution, Bylaws and Rules Committee (CBRC) investigated the local convention and found the voting process had “substantial failures.”

The investigation revealed that the convention organizers undercounted 176 votes in the mayoral race. During voting, one candidate was “errantly eliminated from contention.” The digital spreadsheet used to count votes was left unsecured. The computer tallying results didn’t work properly, and the task of tallying results was switched to a different computer in the middle of the process. The creator of the results program left before results were counted. At some point the convention members decided to change their voting method from digital to “show of badges.”

With so many obvious breaches in election integrity, it looks like the convention was rigged. But the local DFL wants the state DFL to ignore all that its investigation found and hand Fateh an endorsement.

The state DFL barred Minneapolis DFL from conducting another 2025 mayoral endorsing convention and from endorsing a mayoral candidate in 2025. Minneapolis DFL is on probation for two years, and it must convince the state DFL that it can meet the “standard DFL principles and practices.”

The Federalist asked the state DFL if it would consider reinstating the local party’s endorsement but did not receive a response. It should not.

DOUBLE DIPPING: Son of Minnesota AG Keith Ellison Wants to Keep Six-Figure City Government Job While He’s Away at Harvard

Jeremiah Ellison is the son of Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. He earns a six-figure salary as a member of the Minneapolis City Council.

The younger Ellison has now been awarded a fellowship at Harvard University in Massachusetts, a paid position, but he does not want to give up that sweet gig as a city councilor, naturally.

Even though he claims he is going to travel back to Minneapolis for some meetings, this situation is not sitting well with some of his fellow councilors.

FOX News reports:

Keith Ellison’s son to keep 6-figure Minneapolis councilmember salary during fellowship at Harvard

Minneapolis City Councilman Jeremiah Ellison says he will continue receiving his six-figure salary despite accepting a full-time fellowship at Harvard, he announced Wednesday.

Ellison, the son of Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, is now facing criticism from his fellow councilmembers, who note that he will not be able to attend meetings and fully carry out his role. Ellison currently receives a roughly $110,000 salary for his role on the council, and his fellowship at Harvard is a paid position.

“I am extremely disappointed in this, and I hope that my colleagues don’t allow this to happen — something to happen to North Minneapolis that is not good for them just once again,” council member LaTrisha Vetaw said during a press conference last month.

“Without Council member Ellison sitting on those committees, we have zero North Minneapolis representation on those committees. That’s not acceptable to the only other North side council member up here,” she added…

Council rules mandate that members must be physically present both to attend meetings and vote.

Gov. Tim Walz: America Has ‘More Guns’ and ‘The Wrong Types of Guns’

During a presser outside Eagan, Minnesota’s Deerwood Elementary Tuesday, Gov. Tim Walz (D) confirmed he will call an emergency gun control session and criticized the number of guns and “type of guns” in circulation in America.

FOX 9 quoted Walz saying, “The thing that makes America unique in terms of shootings is we just have more guns and the wrong types of guns are on the streets.”

He went on to admit that he is going to need some Republicans to cross the aisle and vote with Democrats in order to secure his gun control package.

Walz added, “If Minnesota lets this moment slide and we determine it’s OK for little ones to not be safe in a school or church environment, then shame on us.”

He did not mention that the man who shot and killed two children and wounded many more in Wednesday’s attack was a transgender who changed his name from “Robert” to “Robin” at aged 17. Nor did he mention that the man identified as a female after the name change.

MN cops caught in a rather big lie over Catholic Church trans shooter…

Minneapolis police were quick to claim there were “no red flags” in the latest trans shooting, the one that took the lives of two precious young children.

The killer, a man who paraded around in pigtails and called himself female, opened fire inside a Catholic church, murdering two grade school children attending Mass and injuring countless others. Some of the victims are still fighting for their lives in the hospital as we speak.

What’s truly terrifying is how the mainstream media continues to enable this mental illness, even after everything that’s happened, by referring to this man as a woman. It’s enough to make your blood boil.

It’s people like Jake who keep fueling this mental illness and violence. They are completely out of step with everyday Americans on this disturbing trans issue.

And speaking of this twisted teen, the police have now been caught in a lie. They claimed there were “no red flags” with the shooter, but there actually were. Two that we know of, and likely a third.

NBC News:

More than seven years before Robin Westman opened fire on a Catholic school as Mass was underway, killing two children and injuring 17 more worshippers, police were called to a townhouse in the Twin Cities suburb where she lived with her mother.

The heavily redacted police report NBC News obtained from the police department in Eagan, Minnesota, is dated Jan. 26, 2018, and it includes a two-word description explaining why an officer was dispatched to that address: mental health.

It also includes a brief synopsis that reads “assisted Mendota Heights with a check welfare of a juvenile.” Mendota Heights is another Twin Cities suburb.

The name of that juvenile and what exactly prompted police to be summoned to the three-bedroom home on Crane Creek Lane were blacked out in the report.

Two years before the mental health call, police responded to a report of a “criminal offense” at the residence, according to a police report. But beyond noting that the case was closed, the report blacks out all the details describing the event.

So, there may have been up to three serious incidents tied to this disturbed teen, yet police still claimed there were “no red flags.”
