How War Propaganda Has Fueled American Foreign Policy For A Century

The New York Times this week reports that the Trump administration has canceled many grants that were to fund “research” on “misinformation.” This is being presented by the media as a dastardly deed that will supposedly allow the spread of misleading or false information through various media channels.

Of course, if there were any genuine interest in studying the most egregious efforts to spread misinformation, media outlets like the Times would study themselves and their friends in the regime. After all, few organizations have been more complicit than the national American media and the US foreign policy establishment when it comes to spreading much of the worst propaganda in American history. I say “worst” because this propaganda has often been used in service to the worst ends: to gin up support for a variety of wars resulting in the deaths of thousands—sometimes even hundreds of thousands—of innocents.

Relatively recent media-regime partnerships in propagandistic misinformation include the “Russiagate” hoax, various efforts to obscure US meddling in Ukraine, and the nearly nonstop drumbeat of “news” stories over the past twenty years designed to push for regime change in various countries from Venezuela to Russia to Libya and to Syria—where the Assad regime, according to US design, was recently replaced by Islamist terrorists. And then, of course, there is the nonstop stream of misinformation designed to prop up the State of Israel and obscure its many war crimes. And let’s not forget the fictional “weapons of mass destruction” in Iraq which the US presented to the United Nations as established fact.

Throughout all this, the interventionist “foreign policy blob” in Washington received near universal support from its friends at publications like the Times and the Washington Post.

The United States did not invent these tactics. Over the past 100-plus years, however, perhaps no regime was more innovative than the British when it came to inventing “facts” designed to manufacture popular consent for wars and more foreign intervention. The United States has done its best to adopt similar methods, however, and creating invented narratives in service to the regime’s foreign policy goals is now standard operating procedure for the American state as well.

As Rumors of a New Big Offensive Swirl, Putin Appoints Mordvichev as New Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Ground Forces – A General that Ukraine Announced it Had Killed!

While the peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine are still showing a lot of promise, the war continues unabated – top Russian negotiator Medinsky quoted famed French General Napoleon to say that ‘Wars & negotiations take place at same time’.

And it seems that the longer the conflict lasts, the more painful the territorial losses of the Kiev regime will be.

As rumors have been circling around for a few months of an upcoming big Russian offensive, President Vladimir Putin made a pivotal change in the command structure of his army, elevating a young, hungry and accomplished General that – if we are to believe the Ukrainians and the MSM – came back from the dead!

Colonel General Andrei Mordvichev has been appointed the new Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Ground Forces.

He was the former commander of “Tsentr” (Center) forces, responsible for the conquest of Mariupol, Avdeevka, and surrounding areas.

His nomination is incredibly awkward for the Ukrainians and their cheerleaders in the MSM, who have reported that he was killed in a strike on an airfield!

The Media Kept Rooting For A Tariff-Driven Recession. The Data Keep Disappointing Them

The propaganda press has spent the last few weeks desperately trying to convince Americans that there was an impending recession due to President Donald Trump’s pro-America agenda that included levying tariffs on countries ripping off the United States.

“Companies buying foreign products pay the tariffs imposed on them — and, as a result, face higher costs that are typically passed on to customers,” one Associated Press article read.

NBC News warned that “Trump’s new tariffs will hit lower-income households the hardest.”

CNN said, “Trump’s tariffs will be bad for you. And you, and you, and you, and you.”

Another CNN headline read: “Trump chaos has already damaged the economy. It may be too late to fix it.”

MSNBC went with an op-ed titled “Trump’s tariffs are incoherent and destructive.”

The examples are endless. But on Thursday, that narrative crumbled.

Axios, citing newly released data, reported that there are not signs “of recessionary or inflationary conditions implied by business and consumer surveys.”

The data, according to Axios, show “steady retail sales and a surprising drop in wholesale prices in April.” Data also reportedly indicate that “spending at restaurants and bars, among the few service-sector categories in the retail sales report, rose by 1.2% in April.”

The Left’s Outcry Over South African Refugees Exposes Their Anti-White Bigotry

In the Biden era, we saw about infinity pseudo-refugees stream across the southern border from every corner of the third world. “Give us your poor, huddled masses, yearning to be free,” the Democrats chanted, as they called us callous racists for daring to suggest their professed humanitarianism was anything but. Yet in the Trump era, all it took was a handful of Afrikaners to lay the real intent of their immigration program bare.

The lib-left establishment isn’t pro-migrant, and they’re certainly not concerned with taking in genuine refugees fleeing political violence. They’re just anti-white.

The Trump administration brought in 59 Afrikaner refugees on Monday — white, European-descended Africans fleeing violence and political persecution in their native South Africa. The refugees landed in D.C. on a State Department-chartered plane, where, American flags in hand, they were met with an official welcome delegation and a ceremonial news conference. If the video footage is anything to go by, they appear to be mostly nuclear families with young children, a strange contrast from the single, military-aged men usually seen flooding the border and social services facilities.

Corporate media was quick to imply racist hypocrisy. The administration has pushed to freeze most settlement programs for “refugees” — in other words, economic migrants from the Global South that Democrats and their NGO allies resettle with a wink and a nod — so the warmness towards Afrikaners must only be due to the fact that they’re white.

Yet what’s happening in the black supremacist government of South Africa makes Afrikaners exactly the type of refugee the American system seeks to aid. For years, South African political leaders have engaged in genocidal rhetoric against white farmers, the Boers, egging on a frenzy of violent resentment at political rallies. Chants of “Kill the Boer,” mean just that, despite Western media fact-checks. So-called political reforms are ostensibly done under the banner of decolonization, redistributing resources from “colonizers” back to the “natives,” such as the new land expropriation policy the government enacted earlier this year. But the legacy of African decolonization, from Algeria to Rhodesia to Sierra Leone, shows that widespread political violence never lags far behind.

Notably, prominent leaders have gone on record not ruling out a future call “for the slaughtering of whites.” And while official figures are hard to come by, Trump has noted how the white farmers are “being killed” as a result of a political situation that amounts to a “genocide.”

How NYT Reports on Weaponized Famine So You Don’t Have to Give a Damn

More than two months ago, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a complete blockade of aid—including food, water and medical supplies—from entering the besieged Gaza strip. It’s a severe escalation of Israel’s now 19-month genocide against Palestinians in Gaza—and what the World Health Organization (5/12/25) has described as “one of the world’s worst hunger crises, unfolding in real time.”

With no replenishing stock, aid groups have begun running out of supplies to distribute to families in need.

The UN Relief and Works Agency (5/16/25) reports that their “flour and food parcels have run out,” and that “one third of essential medical supplies are already out of stock.” More than a week ago, World Central Kitchen reported that they no longer have supplies to cook hot meals and bake bread for starving families—they’ve since repurposed their pots to distribute filtered water.

With Gaza’s entire population experiencing crisis-level food insecurity, and with three-quarters facing “emergency” or “catastrophic” levels of deprivation, the famine has been recognized by Human Rights Watch interim executive director Federico Borello as “a tool of extermination.”

At first glance, the April 29 New York Times offered what many would call an objective account with the headline: “UN Faults Israel Over Blockade of Aid for Gaza” (web version here: 4/28/25).

A closer look at the piece however, reveals the Times’ usual spinelessness in its Gaza coverage, unquestioningly accepting Israeli framing in its supposed right to carry out its ongoing genocide.

Trump administration fires almost 600 Voice of America employees

President Trump has fired hundreds of employees at Voice of America (VOA) as his government aims to trim down the size of the federal broadcaster and retool its editorial strategy.

The nearly 600 employees who were first from VOA this week include mostly contractors, The New York Times reported, noting that figure represents about a third of the broadcaster’s staff.

A copy of a notification to effected employees, which was reviewed by The Hill, informed the staffers they will be terminated as of May 30 and instructs them to return badges, credentials and other VOA property by that time.

The news comes just days after Kari Lake, who serves as the senior adviser at the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM), said VOA would partner with conservative media outlet One America News to provide news feed services to USAGM networks.

Lake, a longtime supporter of Trump, has vowed to ensure the agency “chronicles America’s achievements worldwide.”

Police Arrest One of Four Suspects Behind Murder of Top Infowars Writer Jamie White

After nearly two months, police in Austin, Texas, have announced the arrest of one of four suspects believed to be behind the murder of top Infowars writer Jamie White, who was shot and killed outside his apartment last March.

The suspect, 17-year-old Eloy Adrian Camarillo, was taken into custody on May 1 and booked in the Travis County Jail on capital murder by terror threat charges with a $250,000 bond over the March 10 killing.

You can support Jamie White’s family HERE.

KXAN reports:

According to investigators, White was attempting to stop four suspects from burglarizing his vehicle at the complex — a green Kia Soul. One of those four suspects was identified as Camarillo, who police said was a “co-conspirator” in the deadly shooting, court records said.

Detectives in March reported they were initially able to obtain DNA from one of the suspects on White’s car, and said they’d located a stolen getaway vehicle used during the crime that was later ditched in South Austin.

ANOTHER NARRATIVE BUSTED: Texas Band’s Sob Story After ICE “Forcibly Removes” Their Drummer From Plane Backfires When The Truth of Drummer’s Violent Past Emerges

As multiple outlets have reported, Lord Buffalo, an Austin, Texas based rock band released a statement on Facebook announcing that their drummer, Yamal Said, was “forcefully removed” from their flight to Europe on Monday by Customs and Border Patrol officials. The plane was departing from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

Due to this, they said their tour has been cancelled.

“We are heartbroken to announce we have to cancel our upcoming European tour,” the band wrote. “Our drummer, Yamal Said, who is a Mexican citizen and lawful permanent resident of the United States (green card holder) was forcibly removed from our flight to Europe by Customs and Border Patrol at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on Monday May 12.”

“He has not been released, and we have been unable to contact him,” they added. “We are currently working with an immigration lawyer to find out more information and to attempt to secure his release.”

“We are hopeful that this is a temporary setback and that it could be safe for us to reschedule this tour in the future.”

The band later posted an update stating that they had secured legal representation for Said but reiterated that they had no clue why he had been taken into custody to begin with.

The liberal media happily went along with the narrative that an overzealous ICE had cruelly detained a hard-working immigrant. For example, here is how the far-left The Austin Chronicle spun the story.

However, it turns out that the Trump Administration had a good reason for taking Said away. The DHS noted on their X page, after the story went viral, that Said was a Mexican national with a sordid record.

Said had a warrant out for his arrest after violating a restraining order twice. He has since been turned over to local law enforcement.

German Conservative Media Leak Secret Police Dossier Used to Ban and Spy on AfD: Criticizing Mass Migration is “Far Right”

Several conservative German media have published the allegedly “secret” dossier the German intel service used to justify classifying the largest German opposition party, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) as “confirmed far-right”. The 1100-page dossier contains mainly public statements by party members which criticize open borders and mass immigration.

Cicero“, “Tichy’s Einblick” and “Junge Freiheit” obtained the 1,100 page dossier which ex-Interior Minister Nancy Faeser used to drop a bomb on the AfD on her last day in office. The German secret political police (Office for the Protection of the Constitution – Verfassungsschutz / BfV) has since retracted its classification of the AfD as “far-right” after the AfD sued in court and US Senator Tom Cotton wrote to DNI Tulsi Gabbard to ask US intel agencies to stop exchanging information with German secret services that spy on the political opposition.

The dossier released by the conservative media did not contain any new revelations, but consists entirely of public statements by AfD politcians that most US conservatives will find completely normal sentiments, such as a Facebook post by the party from September 25, 2023:

Instead of a pointless housing summit: Deportation for more housing! If hundreds of thousands or even millions enter Germany every year without the same number of apartments being built, there won’t be enough housing. So due to rising demand, rents also increase. The result: According to calculations by the housing industry association, up to one million apartments may be missing by 2025. But instead of even talking about how this problem can be reduced through consistent deportations and protected borders, the established parties organize a pointless housing summit and decide on brutal regulations at the expense of the Germans.

Pretty extreme, huh?

Daily Mail Misses the Real Story About Long-Term Stable Antarctica Ice in Dumb Quip About Climate ‘Deniers’

A remarkably silly headline appeared last week in the Daily Mail stating: ‘Shocking Antarctica discovery sends climate change deniers into mass celebration.’ It appears that 100 gigatonnes of ice has been added to the Antarctica ice sheet in a 21-month period to December 2023. Quite how joy will be unconfined in the ranks of the ‘deniers’ over an increase, or decrease, of 0.00041% is not clear. The amount is an ice sheet rounding error and it would be scientifically accurate to refer to it as zero. Even if the figure was a loss, it would take nearly half a million years for all the ice in Antarctica to melt and that does not include any allowance for glacial periods or indeed a new ice age. Unsurprising, in the haste to stick ‘denier’ into the mix, a far more important finding about Antarctica ice was missed. A recent paper undergoing peer review has calculated that around 2,546 gt of ice has been added every year since 1960 to the surface on Antarctica. This would almost certainly have been enough to stabilise any natural losses and it is possible that the ice sheet has been stable or even growing slowly over this period.

The figures for Antarctica’s overall ice mass are difficult to calculate. They must include losses from ice calving and melting and they are thought to total around 2,000 gt a year. Driving ice accumulation in Antarctica is snowfall and there is some evidence that the area is receiving more precipitation than previously thought. The paper led by Dr Christiaan van Dalum of Utrecht University suggests heavy recent accumulations of ice in Antarctica that appear to outweigh any losses at the coast. There is said to be increased precipitation in the mountains of West Antarctica and the Antarctic Peninsula.

It is not always clear in scientific papers just what the authors are comparing. The Daily Mail story arises from a Chinese group whose work on the Antarctica ice sheet appears to concentrate on just four eastern glacial basins. The Chinese findings suggest little or no change while van Dalum points to increases over the entire continent even allowing for significant losses due to natural events. Nevertheless, the key to understanding climate change lies in the length of the observations. Drawing celebratory conclusions over less than two years’ supposed growth is junk science, possibly designed to boost clicks and impress potential advertisers. Assessing results over 60 years as the Dalum paper does offers greater understanding of the dynamics of polar ice.
