CNN: It’s ‘Wildly Irresponsible’ For Trump — Who Was Shot In The Head — To Say Secret Service Didn’t Protect Him

CNN’s Jim Acosta claimed during his afternoon segment on Tuesday that it was “wildly irresponsible” for former President Donald Trump to accurately note that the U.S. Secret Service failed to protect him from an attempted assassination that left him with a wounded ear.

“The Biden/Harris Administration did not properly protect me, and I was forced to take a bullet for Democracy. IT WAS MY GREAT HONOR TO DO SO!” former President Donald Trump wrote Tuesday on Truth Social.

The 2024 Republican presidential nominee also pointed out shortly after U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned in disgrace that she “never gave me proper protection, so I ended up having to take a bullet for democracy.”

“When you hear the former president saying something like that, what’s your reaction?” Acosta asked his guest. “I mean, obviously, the Secret Service is a professional operation. To say something like ‘they did not protect me,’ it just sounds just wildly irresponsible.”

“Proof of Life, Please!” Fox Hosts Ask If Biden Is Even Still Alive

Fox hosts Brett Baier and Dana Perino expressed concern for President Biden on their show yesterday, asking for proof that the President is actually still alive.

“Not physically seeing him—even address a camera in Delaware, let alone an Oval Office statement like LBJ did when he dropped out in March of 1968—it is disconcerting, isn’t it?” Baier asked his fellow host.

“Brett, they didn’t even release a White House still photograph. Nothing! I hope he’s fine. You can forgive people for wondering if we are really living Weekend at Bernie’s right now. Like, proof of life, please.”

“We want him to be a person that can stand on his own two feet and look the American people in the eye and explain why he’s leaving. Because, without that, your allies, your adversaries, your enemies, your military, your voters are going to ask, ‘Wait, why are you withdrawing? Is it because of health, and if so let us know, so we can pray for you.’ Is it because you were afraid you were going to lose? That’s what Jared Moskowitz just said, the Congressman from Florida.”

President Biden still has COVID-19, and hasn’t been seen publicly since his diagnosis last Wednesday.

Biden’s brother, Frank, has now confirmed that the President’s decision to withdraw was in part motivated by health concerns.

Frank Biden spoke to CBS News and said that he was “incredible proud” of his brother, calling him a “hero.”

In doing so, however, Frank Biden appeared to suggest that his brother’s health may be significantly worsening, using the ominous phrase “whatever time we have left”—which some have taken to mean the President may die.

Hitherto, we’ve been asked to believe in the fairy tale that a man who can barely string three words together on a debate stage—let alone a man who refers to his running mate as “Vice President Trump” and confuses Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenky with Russian President Vladimir Putin—is actually single-handedly running the largest economy and the largest military on the planet.

But now, we’re asked to believe in the fairy tale that all that “misinformation” about Biden’s mental state has suddenly come true and that the House Oversight Committee is going to get to the bottom of the question of who’s really running the US government.

Report: Analysis Reveals Third Weapon May Have Been Used In Trump Assassination Attempt

An audio analysis of the assassination attempt against former president Donald Trump suggests that as many as three weapons were fired at the rally before the shooter was killed.

CNN published results of forensic analysis from Catalin Grigoras, director of the National Center for Media Forensics at the University of Colorado in Denver, and Cole Whitecotton, Senior Professional Research Associate from the same location.

This report alleged that three shots were fired by “weapon A,” and the next five were consistent with “weapon B.” Weapon A presumably would have been the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, while weapon B was most likely the Secret Service sniper who returned fire and killed Crooks.

However, the report also alleges that a possible weapon C emitted a final “acoustic impulse,” which may have belonged to a third, previously unknown shooter. 

Analysis has also confirmed the Crooks was between 360 and 393 feet from the podium, CNN reported, citing forensics expert Robert Maher, corroborating with reports that he was on a rooftop approximately 120-130 yards from the former president. 

Maher, a professor of audio forensics at Montana State University, told CNN that the sequence of shots was in a “crack-pop” sequence, before the “arrival of the corresponding muzzle blast sound.”

WSJ Reporter Sentenced to 16 Years in Prison, Employer Calls It a ‘Disgraceful, Sham Conviction’

An American reporter for the Wall Street Journal was sentenced Friday to 16 years in prison after being convicted of espionage in what his employer called “a hurried, secret trial that the U.S. government has condemned as a sham.”

Evan Gershkovich was ordered to serve the sentence at a high-security penal colony, the Journal reported.

“The court’s Friday verdict — after three days of hearings — was widely viewed as a foregone conclusion, since acquittals in Russian espionage trials are exceedingly rare,” according to the report.

“This disgraceful, sham conviction comes after Evan has spent 478 days in prison, wrongfully detained, away from his family and friends, prevented from reporting, all for doing his job as a journalist,” Wall Street Journal Editor in Chief Emma Tucker and Wall Street Journal publisher Almar Latour said in a statement.

Gershkovich, 32, was detained in March 2023 by Russian authorities while on assignment for the Wall Street Journal in Yekaterinburg.

Russian officials “have produced no public evidence to support their allegations,” the Journal reported.

“Authorities claimed, without offering any evidence, that he was gathering secret information for the U.S.,” the Associated Press reported.

The U.S. State Department said Gershkovich was “wrongfully detained” and said it is working to secure his release.

Broadcasting in front of a large LED screen, trying to appear as if they were at the RNC Thursday night, MSNBC talking heads, specifically former Republican National Committee Chair turned leftist mouthpiece Michael Steele, suggested that there is some sort of cover up going on with Trump’s ear, and that he might not have even been shot with a bullet.

TIME Changes Front Cover Image Of Trump After Complaints That Iconic Image Is “Free PR”

Time magazine has changed its August cover from the now iconic image of Donald Trump raising his fist after surviving the assassination attempt after leftists complained that the image was helping his popularity.

In place of the image is now a monochrome picture of the evacuated rally site with a US flag in colour and the words “What Unites Us.”

What?

One of those images will go down in history and be used forever. The other simply won’t.

Major News Outlet Urges Media to Bury Iconic Trump Photo Due to “Free PR” Concerns

A major news outlet’s photo editor criticized the widespread publishing of a dramatic photo depicting former President Donald Trump just moments after an assassination attempt, calling it unintentional “free PR” for Trump, and calling for it to not be shown.

Rachel Maddow, Jen Psaki and other MSNBC hosts use LED screen to make it look like they’re at RNC in Milwaukee

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and the left-leaning cable network’s other top anchors have used a giant video screen to show the Republican National Convention as a backdrop — while hosting the coverage from their Manhattan headquarters.

The unusual arrangement has raised ethical concerns about making it appear to viewers that the outlet’s biggest stars are on-site in Milwaukee to cover the four-day convention.

“If news organizations don’t represent where they are clearly, then how is the audience to have faith and confidence in the actual content of the reporting?” media veteran and former CNN Washington Bureau Chief Frank Sesno told The New York Times.

“It can feel like a frivolous thing — oh, well, gee, we’re just using the pictures behind them — but there’s something profoundly important here.”

MSNBC — which has faced internal turmoil after network brass sidelined “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski in the wake of the failed assassination attempt against Donald Trump — announced last week that it would have a limited on-the-ground presence in Milwaukee.
