White House Altered Transcript of Biden’s ‘Garbage’ Comments over Stenographers’ Objections

The White House edited the transcript of President Biden’s remark calling supporters of former president Donald Trump “garbage,” despite pushback from stenographers who said the change was a breach of protocol.

In the original transcript prepared by the stenographers of the Voto Latino campaign call, Biden was quoted as saying: “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters — his — his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American.”

As the remarks started circulating online and receiving pushback, the White House Press Office released a transcript of Biden’s comments that added an apostrophe, changing the quote’s meaning to read “supporter’s” rather than “supporters.”

The White House claimed Biden was offering a criticism of comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who joked at Trump’s MSG rally that Puerto Rico is a “floating island of garbage.” Biden has insisted the comment was not directed at Trump’s millions of supporters.

An internal email from the White House Stenography Office obtained by the Associated Press and Fox News called the press office’s change “a breach of protocol and spoliation of transcript integrity between the Stenography and Press Offices.”

The email said the press office changed the transcript after “conferring with the president.”

“If there is a difference in interpretation, the Press Office may choose to withhold the transcript but cannot edit it independently,” the stenography supervisor wrote in the email.

IRS whistleblowers knew Hunter Biden laptop scandal “was real,” but prosecutors didn’t want to touch “the big guy”

The Biden Crime Family is back in the news, this time thanks to the consciences of IRS whistleblowers who have come forward to reveal that the Hunter Biden laptop scandal is, in fact, a big deal, but that prosecutors are reluctant to touch it because they fear Hunter’s father Joe, also known as “the big guy.”

Internal Revenue Service whistleblowers involved in the Hunter Biden tax scandal case say that investigators at not just their employer but also at the Department of Justice (DoJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) knew that Hunter Biden’s laptop “was real,” but were quickly silenced by prosecutors who demanded that they keep quiet about it ahead of the 2020 election.

“There were a lot of overt investigative steps that we were not allowed to take because we had an upcoming election,” one of the whistleblowers explains in the video below. “The prosecutors … told us that they didn’t want to ask about ‘the big guy.’ We corroborated that ‘the big guy’ was Joe Biden. Yes.”

American Outreach to Middle Eastern Despots Is Shortsighted

President Joe Biden is an increasingly decrepit lame duck. A Washington fixture for more than 50 years, he is lost in time, believing that the U.S. is still the unipower and essential nation, enabling him to “run” the world. Those days, to the extent that they ever existed, are long past.

Biden has spent most of his term sacrificing the interests of Americans to benefit foreign governments. Particularly bad is the administration’s bizarre offer of a security guarantee to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one of the world’s few absolute monarchies, headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. That would mean turning the U.S. military into a modern janissary corps, with American personnel acting as royal bodyguards. Apparently cooked up by the National Security Council staffer Brett McGurk, acting as Riyadh’s man in Washington, the plan continues to be pressed by Biden, contradicting the latter’s many embarrassing paeans to democracy.

Few Washington policy proposals are so loathsome and irrational. It is tempting to write the idea off as a product of Biden’s advancing dementia. Other administration officials lack that excuse, however. For instance, Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed, “It would really change the prospects of the entire region far into the future.” Nevertheless, the so-called Abraham Accords are not peace treaties despite their strangely idyllic reputation, since none of the nations involved have been at war with Israel. Rather, the U.S. is paying Sunni Arab regimes to establish diplomatic relations with Jerusalem.

The earlier agreements were bad for America. Bribes should not be necessary if a de facto alliance against Iran is in the interests of Arab countries and Israel. However, the former governments, despite long having back-channel relations with Israel, played the U.S. In exchange for recognition of Jerusalem, Washington expanded arms sales to the United Arab Emirates and recognized Morocco’s illegal conquest of Western Sahara.

Biden would provide the Kingdom with a security guarantee backed by U.S. troops, along with a sweetheart nuclear energy deal. Americans would protect MbS, as the killer prince is known, while he imprisons and murders, and sometimes dismembers, his domestic critics, and attempts to coerce his neighbors. According to Washington’s magical thinking, heavenly peace would then take hold. Iran would surrender, allowing Riyadh to dominate the region. The Palestinians would yield, docilely acting as cheap labor for their Israeli overlords. After the lion and lamb laid down together, the U.S. military would be able to withdraw from the Mideast. Everyone would live happily ever after, especially the Saudi and Israeli lobbies in Washington

In fact, paying off MbS and his wastrel royal elite would be bad policy in almost every way.

Biden wants to join Harris’ election campaign but kept away by her team

United States President Joe Biden has sought to participate in the presidential campaign of his vice president, Kamala Harris. However, the Democrat’s team has kept him on the sidelines, believing his presence will harm her chances of overcoming Republican candidate Donald Trump.

According to Axios, Biden wants to get involved in the final days of Harris’ campaign to be elected president. According to three people familiar with the matter, her team responded to Biden’s request, “We’ll get back to you.”

Harris’ rise to the Democratic nomination resulted from the crisis within the party caused by Biden’s advanced age and cognitive decline, which raised doubts both internally and externally about his ability to retain the White House. Doubts turned into certainties on June 27, when the Democrat faced the Republican candidate in a debate in which he displayed irresolute behaviour.

Axios reported that the vice president’s team believes Biden is a political liability at a crucial moment in the campaign but has been reluctant to back down from him.

Wisconsin Reporter Puts Kamala Harris in the Hot Seat, Spars with Her Over High Grocery Prices, Asks Why She Hasn’t Already Done What She’s Proposing

Kamala Harris sat down for an interview with Wisconsin’s WISN 12 News Political Director Matt Smith with just 7 days to go until Election Day.

Matt Smith put Kamala Harris in the hot seat and asked her why she hasn’t already done what she is proposing.

“I think what some voters are struggling with, and we’ve heard this across the state [Wisconsin] is when you discuss your plan, they come back and ask, ‘well why haven’t you done it already?’”

Kamala Harris laughed and blurted out, “Well, I’m not president!”

“You’re Vice President!” Matt Smith said.

“Exactly, but I’m gonna tell you what I’m doing as president when I have the ability, then, to do what I know based on my experience is a new approach that is about building on the good work that is happened, but there’s more to do,” Kamala Harris said.

Kamala Harris did extraordinary damage as vice president since she cast the tie-breaking vote on the measures that brought us the worst inflation crisis in more than 100 years.

White House Security Adviser’s “Information Czar” Idea Triggers Free Speech Concerns

Amid escalating assertions over foreign influence in US elections, the White House is exploring a controversial proposal that some warn could threaten free speech and open debate. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan recently confirmed that the administration has been “grappling with and thinking about” the potential creation of an “information czar,” sparking concern over the government’s expanding role in controlling narratives under the guise of national security.

Speaking at the National War College, Sullivan responded to a question about the potential for a centralized figure to oversee and counter foreign disinformation efforts by suggesting that while the idea has been under consideration, it could raise issues in a free society. “Questions around information operations, around public diplomacy, around the voice that America uses to speak to the world, bleed over into questions of propaganda or politics,” he said, implicitly acknowledging that such a role could have far-reaching consequences on public discourse.

The proposal for an “information czar” raises immediate concerns over whether any centralized control over information could be used to restrict speech and stifle dissenting opinions. Sullivan recognized this risk, questioning whether such a role should be linked to the White House itself or to a more removed agency in order to “insulate this from the twos and fros of politics.” Still, the idea of government officials controlling “information resiliency” remains contentious, especially when directed at speech in the US rather than strictly addressing threats abroad.

In defending the proposal, Sullivan argued that foreign election interference, particularly by Russia and other state actors, poses a national security issue and “an attack on our country” that needs a robust response. However, critics argue that efforts to counter disinformation could easily expand into broader content censorship efforts, a slippery slope that could ultimately see the government interfering with free speech in the name of “resilience.”

King Biden & Queen Harris Overrule Supreme Court On Student Debt Forgiveness

Biden repeatedly acts like he is above the law. So who’s the threat to Democracy?

The Wall Street Journal reports Biden Snubs the Courts Again on Student Loan Forgiveness

‘That didn’t stop me,” President Biden declared after the Supreme Court blocked his $430 billion student loan write-off in 2023. It sure didn’t. After striking out in court with three debt forgiveness schemes, the Administration on Friday unveiled another. Take that, judges.

The Education Department says its proposed rule would authorize forgiveness for some eight million borrowers experiencing “hardship.” Under the rule, the department can discharge debt if it calculates a borrower has an 80% likelihood of defaulting on payments within the subsequent two years based on 17 factors such as income, debt balances and assets.

The rule would effectively let the department forgive debt of any borrower any time it wants. The administration says high child-care costs could qualify as a hardship. How about high auto loan or credit-card payments? Did someone say moral hazard?

In April the department released a plan that cancels accrued interest for 25 million borrowers and forgives debt of those who entered repayment over 20 years ago or who “enrolled in low-financial-value programs”—meaning, forprofit colleges. The plan also promised to waive debt for borrowers with a “hardship.”

A federal court last month blocked that plan, but the department says its new rule “would operate separately and distinctly.” Courts are playing whack-a-mole with the Administration’s debt write-offs that end-run Congress, which never authorized such broad-based debt forgiveness.

Such lawlessness is one reason so many Americans discount the left’s assertions that Donald Trump endangers democracy. Mr. Biden acts like he’s king, and Democrats and media voices cheering him on have no standing to object if Mr. Trump follows the Biden precedent.

Why Nobody Believes The “Data”: Surging Prices Of Everyday Items Are Excluded From CPI

As inflation remains painfully high for American consumers, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) is woefully inadequate in terms of reflecting reality.

For starters, CPI excludes several significant costs faced by households today – ranging from property taxes to soaring interest payments.

While price levels remain notably higher than before the pandemic, according to the CPI, inflation has slowed – reaching a 2.4% increase for the year ending in September. That’s only part of the picture, Bloomberg reports.

“The CPI is capturing the goods and services that you purchased for consumption, but there are things that affect your cost of living that are outside of that,” explains Steve Reed, a BLS economist. For instance, interest charges on rising consumer debt are largely absent from the CPI. Roughly $628 billion in revolving credit card debt now bears an average interest rate of about 22%, yet these costs aren’t reflected in consumer inflation data.
