Report: Tammy Duckworth Staffer Allegedly Posed As Lawyer to Help Free Illegal Immigrant From ICE Custody

A staffer for Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) is in hot water after being accused of posing as an attorney to gain access to illegal immigrants at a St. Louis, Missouri, facility. The allegation came from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which sent a letter to Duckworth today.

Here’s more from Fox News:

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said a member of Sen. Tammy Duckworth’s office misrepresented himself as the attorney of a detained illegal immigrant to facilitate their release.

According to a letter sent Wednesday to Duckworth, D-Ill., U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Acting Director Todd Lyons said the staffer told federal agents he was the attorney of Jose Ismeal Ayuzo Sandoval — a 40-year-old illegal immigrant previously deported four times to Mexico and who had a DUI conviction.

The letter says the staffer entered an ICE facility in St. Louis, Illinois, on Oct. 29.

“At approximately 1:29 p.m., an individual identified as Edward York, who according to publicly available information, is employed as a Constituent Outreach Coordinator for your Senate office, entered the field office lobby, and in a discussion with a federal officer, claimed to be Mr. Ayuzo’s attorney. Mr. York demanded to speak with his ‘client,’” the letter states.

Suffolk County Ordered to Pay $112 Million to Hundreds of Illegal Aliens After Obama Judge Rules They Were ‘Unlawfully Detained’

Suffolk County was ordered to pay $112 million to hundreds of illegal aliens after a judge ruled they were ‘unlawfully detained.’

US District Court Judge William F. Kuntz II, an Obama appointee, issued the ruling after an illegal from Guatemala living in Long Island filed a lawsuit claiming he was detained by ICE beyond his release date.

The judge ruled that the sheriff’s office in Long Island unlawfully held the illegal aliens since the state of New York doesn’t allow local law enforcement to do so.

The plaintiff was arrested in 2017 were police asked him about his immigration status.

According to PIX11, lawyers argued that the plaintiff’s cousin paid a $1,000 bail with the agreement that he would appear in immigration court yet he was never informed of the bail.

Police reportedly transferred the Guatemalan illegal to the Varick Street Detention Center in Manhattan and later transferred to a county jail in New Jersey.

The case ballooned after it became a class action lawsuit so now Suffolk County residents are on the hook for $112 million.

“This decision brings long-overdue accountability,” said plaintiffs’ attorney José Pérez, Deputy General Counsel at LatinoJustice PRLDEF. “The jury confirmed what we have argued all along, that Suffolk County’s actions trampled the basic due process rights guaranteed under the 14th Amendment.”

Leaked UK memo pinpoints new sites to host illegal immigrants

The British government is facing growing backlash after a leaked Home Office document revealed that up to 14 additional sites across the country have been identified to house thousands of undocumented migrants, British media have reported.

The initiative forms part of Labour’s pledge to end the use of taxpayer-funded asylum hotels by 2029, which currently cost billions of pounds annually. Marked “official sensitive,” the memo, first cited by the Sunday Times, stated that the Home Office has drawn up plans to resettle as many as 10,000 asylum seekers across the UK.

Under the proposed plan, migrants would be accommodated at former military facilities that have been upgraded and could begin receiving arrivals immediately.

So far, two locations have been confirmed by British media: Cameron Barracks in Inverness and the Crowborough Army Training Camp in East Sussex.

Shooter opens fire at Border Patrol agents in Chicago, feds confronted by rowdy mob

Authorities are searching for a man who allegedly opened fire Saturday on Border Patrol agents in Chicago.

The shooter was behind the wheel of a black Jeep when they fired off the shots near 26th Street and Kedzie Avenue, as the agents conducted immigration enforcement operations on the city’s Southwest side, the US Department of Homeland Security wrote on X.

Agitators also hurled a paint can and bricks at the agency’s vehicles during the incident.

Chicago cops cleared the scene, and the shooter remains at large.

Mamdani: NYC Will Arrest ICE Agents. City in Danger of Trespassing Multiple Federal Laws.

In keeping with his Marxist campaign platform, New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani will apparently have his cops arrest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

He didn’t use those words, but he did strongly imply it, as does his platform, which itself says he will put New York into rebellion and insurrection against the federal government.

Whether President Donald Trump will have Mamdani arrested if he interferes with ICE, as he promised in June, remains to be seen. But that might just happen. Mamdani’s campaign literature certainly seems to say he is willing to violate at least five federal statutes.

Mamdani’s Platform

Mamdani’s platform is clear on the immigration question: The city will harbor illegals and block ICE from arresting and deporting them. It vows to “end any cooperation” with the agency and “get ICE out of all city facilities.” That includes the city’s Rikers Island jail complex, which Mamdani plans to close anyway.

The reason: Cooperation “is not about making New York safer, but about tearing families apart and throwing our communities into disarray,” his website says:

The Mamdani administration will end this collaboration immediately and ensure all City-owned or City-leased facilities remain protected from Trump’s deportation efforts. The administration will also ensure that no City resources are used for immigration enforcement. … Overall, sanctuary laws make us safer, including by allowing undocumented people to talk to the police.

Mamdani promised to spend $165 million for illegals to get lawyers, and to “protect all personal data from other jurisdictions.” That means the city will not tell the government when it has arrested an illegal alien.

During his campaign, he vowed to “kick the ‘fascist ICE’ out of New York City.” The Big Apple, he said, will be “Trump Proof.”

Map Shows 14 States Offering Health Coverage To Undocumented Migrants

Part of President Donald Trump‘s budget legislation, the “Big Beautiful Bill,” will seek to punish the 14 states that currently offer health coverage to people in the U.S. regardless of immigration status, including undocumented migrants.

The 14 states, most of which are Democratic-led, would see the federal Medicaid matching rate for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) expansion in their states cut from 90 percent to 80 percent, ramping up how much they would have to pay to run their service.

Why It Matters

Immigrants without legal status typically do not qualify for federal benefits, however, more than a dozen states offer various forms of health coverage to undocumented migrants.

While advocates of such services argue these programs promote public health, reduce long-term costs, and align with moral obligations to care for vulnerable populations, critics contend that such efforts strain budgets and could incentivize illegal immigration.

WaPo’s Latest ICE Lie Is So Bad the Official DHS X Account Asks ‘How Do You People Sleep at Night,’ Then Tears the School Teacher Story Apart Point by Point

The media’s portrayal of Immigration and Customs Enforcement is only going to make their job more dangerous than it already is.

The Department of Homeland Security caught the Washington Post telling an absolutely egregious lie about ICE agents who were hunting down an illegal alien. They replied to the Post’s story via social media platform X to correct the record for all to see.

On Wednesday, the outlet posted a link to a story about a teacher arrested by ICE at a daycare in Chicago, Rayito de Sol, which is both a daycare and immersion school. The Post tried to paint the occasion as evil ICE officers striking fear into the hearts of young children and parents as they barged in, apprehending a woman who apparently had a work permit but was taken into custody anyway.

How could these agents do such a thing?

How could they just haul away someone a parent of a child at the school called, “a wonderful person, a mother, an excellent community member.”

Well, according to DHS, they did not.

‘It’s a Small World After All’ As ICE Crackdown of Illegal Immigrant Truckers Gets Even More Eye-Opening

As is usually the case regarding a horrific event, it takes something tragic before a microscope is trained on the real issue. Joe Biden and Democrats have plenty of blood on their hands from years of massive waves of illegal immigrants pouring over a wide-open southern border. There have been plenty of high-profile cases like Laken Riley and Jocelyn Nungaray. But it took the deaths of three unknown people on a Florida highway to bring attention to the huge problem of illegal immigrants who speak and read little to no English driving 18-wheelers across the country, and the story keeps getting worse.

Since the Florida crash, the Department of Transportation and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have become involved. Since late October, ICE, along with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, has targeted a portion of Interstate 40. The operation has nabbed 70 illegal immigrants, 34 of whom were operating semi-trucks in violation of Oklahoma state law. It is no surprise where the illegal immigrants are obtaining their commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs). ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Executive Associate Director Marcos Charles had this to say:

“For the second time in just the past month, the state of Oklahoma and ICE have banded together to bolster public safety along Oklahoma’s highways, identifying and apprehending illegal aliens who are in the country illegally and have been recklessly issued a commercial driver’s license by states like California, Illinois, and New Jersey. Many of the illegal aliens arrested behind the wheel of an 80,000-pound tractor trailer can’t even read basic English, endangering everyone they encounter on the roads.”

Also, as is usual, the details just get more disturbing. The sting operation called “Operation Guardian” discovered, as stated above, that 26 of the illegal immigrant truckers had CDL licenses from the usual suspect states of California, Illinois, and New York. But the best part, eight of the drivers were operating 18-wheelers with no CDL license at all. That’s right, no CDL license. The illegal immigrant truckers picked up by Operation Guardian reads like a who’s who of the United Nations from countries such as China, Guatemala, India, Uzbekistan, as well as other nations. Many also have extensive rap sheets that include convictions for violent crimes.

Illegal Alien Trucker Was Facing 17 Years for Killing 3 in Freeway Crash; Now It’s Down to 10 Thanks to California Laws

The Biden administration’s border policies are still haunting us.

An Indian illegal immigrant faces three counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and reckless driving for allegedly causing a collision last month on the westbound 10 Freeway in San Bernardino County, California, according to the New York Post.

Jashanpreet Singh, 21, is accused of crashing a semi-truck into traffic where three people were killed and four were injured.

Singh faced 17 years in prison, but that was downgraded to 10 after it was discovered he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol — something authorities originally claimed.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement wants notice before he is released, as Singh is believed to have crossed the southern border illegally in 2022 during President Joe Biden’s term.

To make matters worse, President Donald Trump’s Department of Transportation is pointing the finger at California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom for this tragedy.

On Sept. 26, the Transportation Department updated the process for obtaining a CDL.

But a report from the department claims that California illegally upgraded Singh’s license on Oct. 15, which was not in compliance with the new regulations.

Singh went from a restricted CDL which would only allow him to drive in California to a commercial one which would allow him to travel out of the state when he turned 21 in October. So, despite the pause on commercial licenses, he was upgraded anyway.

The DOT stated if California followed the new law, Singh would have had his license revoked altogether.

Illegal immigrants should not hold CDLs, nor should they hold a license at all.

They should not be here.

Per KABC-TV, among the dead were a high school basketball coach and his wife.

Illinois Law Would Shield Illegals From Arrest, Allow Them to Sue Agents Who Arrest Them

Far-left Democrats in the Illinois General Assembly have passed a bill that will provide sanctuary to illegal aliens in courthouses and give them a right to sue the federal agents who arrest them.

Hate-Trump Governor J.B. Pritzker, who believes federal immigration and other agents are “Gestapo” stormtroopers and vows to prosecute them, will almost certainly sign the bill as soon as it hits his desk.

The federal Justice Department will likely sue to overturn the bill under the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause, an action that might go nowhere. A federal judge appointed by President Joe Biden dismissed the department’s lawsuit to overturn Chicago’s and Illinois’ sanctuary statutes.

The law will shield illegal-alien sex fiends and murderers from arrest and deportation.

The Bill

The law is an amendment attached to a bill, of all things, for a POW-MIA recognition day.

It includes several provisions to help illegals escape deportation, as Capitol News Illinois reported:

Under the bill, civil immigration arrests would be barred inside state courthouses and within a 1,000-foot buffer zone outside of the buildings. Though there had long been a de facto understanding that such were off-limits for immigration enforcement, they have increasingly been the site of apprehensions over the past year. Those who violate the act would face statutory damages of $10,000.

The bill also allows Illinois residents to sue immigration agents for violating their constitutional rights. They would be able to collect punitive damages, which can be increased if the agents are wearing a mask, concealing their identity, failing to wear a body camera or using a vehicle with a non-Illinois or obscured license plate.

In other words, legislators hope to endanger the lives of federal agents by forcing them to reveal their identity, which illegal-alien gangs and their supporters could use to harass, assault, or murder the agents or their families. Federal prosecutors have charged two men who solicited the murder of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, one of them in Chicago. As well, as The New American reported, citing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Mexican drug cartels have created a three-tiered bounty system on agents, with a $10,000 reward for murdering one.

Not surprisingly, one enthusiast for the bill is an immigrant Democratic legislator from Vietnam, Hoan Huynh. He called ICE’s behavior “un-American,” the website reported:

We cannot continue to allow gun-toting mercenaries, often without agency badges, to roam our communities and abduct our neighbors. Enough is enough. ICE conduct is unacceptable and un-American. If you love the Constitution of the United States, if you love America as much as you say you do, and if you believe in due process, then I urge you to vote yes on this bill.
