Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Says Deportations a ‘War on Our Humanity’ — Then Calls ICE Agents a ‘Disease’

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has urged people to rise up against the “disease” of immigration enforcement.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Johnson was asked during a public meeting on Wednesday about whether he would be joining protests against the Trump administration’s policy of mass deportations.

“This is a necessary fight for all of us to be able to push back,” Johnson said.

”Whether we use the courts or whether we continue to protest and raise our voices, dissent matters in this moment.”

“It’s a war on our culture. It’s a war on our democracy. It’s a war on our humanity.”

“I am counting on all of Chicago to resist in this moment because, whatever particular vulnerable group is being targeted today, another group will be next.”

”None of us are immune from this disease,” he added.

Earlier this week, Johnson argued that the Trump administration represents “what our country would look like had the Confederacy won” and that immigration enforcement amounted to a form of terrorism.

California Democrats Dumped $73M into Migrant NGOs Opposing ICE

California’s Democrat-controlled state legislature has pushed tens of millions of tax dollars into the hands of non-governmental organizations that work to thwart deportation and out ICE agents, according to a report.

Five of these far-left, pro-illegal alien organizations have received $73.6 million in state tax dollars since 2023, according to a report by budget watchdog group Open The Books.

According to the review of state spending, the notorious group Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) was the biggest recipient of state funds, with handouts of a whopping $35,226,566 during 2023 and 2024.

CHIRLA has reportedly been at the center of efforts to track where ICE agents are working in Los Angeles so that activists can be dispatched to the area, often followed by rioters and agitators. The group has set up a tip line for members of the public to out ICE agent activity, as well.

“Aside from their current activities fomenting unrest in L.A., CHIRLA runs many different campaigns and programs as a part of their regular operations, including the ‘Wise Up!’ program to teach high schoolers how to become activists,” Open The Books reported. “The CHIRLA website states this program is an ‘initiative to organize high school students—both undocumented and allies—around immigrant rights, and full access to educational opportunities.’ The website further states WiseUp! ‘activates students’ by ‘engaging them civically to fight in the legislative arena and the public square for measures that ease their access to education and citizenship.’”

Media Coverage of ICE Operations: Disconnect Between Headlines and Facts, The Cary López Alvarado Incident

On June 8, 2025, multiple news outlets reported the arrest of Cary López Alvarado, a nine-month pregnant U.S. citizen, by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Hawthorne, California. The mainstream media portrayed the ICE raid as either inhumane or a mistake, or both. However, the reality is that López Alvarado was arrested for attempting to prevent ICE officers from arresting her undocumented husband. She was held temporarily and then released with no charges filed.

The takeaway most people received from the headlines and superficial news coverage was that ICE had accidentally or maliciously arrested an American citizen and held her for hours. The media reports implied she was detained on suspicion of being an illegal alien, rather than being held for obstructing federal law enforcement officers. News coverage also concentrated heavily on the fact that she required hospital treatment for stomach pains, while ignoring the fact that a nine-month pregnant woman should not have attempted to physically interfere with federal agents conducting a lawful arrest.

This case provides a clear example of how media framing can obscure the factual circumstances of immigration enforcement operations. Major news outlets characterized the incident with headlines emphasizing López Alvarado’s pregnancy and citizenship status, including Rolling Stone’s “Masked ICE Agents Detain 9-Month-Pregnant U.S. Citizen in L.A. Crackdown,” Newsweek’s “ICE Detains Heavily Pregnant US Citizen, ‘Shield My Stomach’,” and NBC’s “Pregnant US citizen detained by ICE.”

However, according to Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin, López Alvarado “was arrested because she obstructed federal law enforcement by blocking access to a car that had two Guatemalan illegal aliens in it.” The DHS statement provided additional operational context that was often absent from initial media reporting: ICE agents were conducting a targeted operation following a vehicle with two undocumented Guatemalan nationals. During the incident, federal agents were reportedly assaulted, and a third individual was arrested after allegedly pushing an officer. Projectiles including wrenches and batteries were thrown at the agents during the confrontation.

This case represents part of a recurring pattern in immigration enforcement coverage, with headlines and reports designed to portray ICE as jackbooted Nazi thugs while omitting important details, such as the fact that the operation was legal, planned, and warranted, and that during the course of the operation, officers were attacked. All persons arrested or detained were done so with proper justification. Furthermore, it is important to note that the media consistently tries to portray ICE as having made mistakes, whether through accidentally raiding the wrong location, detaining or deporting citizens, or wrongfully detaining citizens or legal immigrants and then only releasing them when pressured to do so.

ICE advances sole source deal with Palantir for new surveillance backbone

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is preparing to move forward with a sole-source contract to Palantir Technologies for the development of the next generation of its Investigative Case Management (ICM) system, which includes biometrics for migrant identification.

The ICM is essential to ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), where it serves as the primary software environment for managing case files, exchanging intelligence, tracking investigative data across multiple agencies, and tracking people. It is intertwined with ICE’s controversial Immigration Lifecycle Operating System, ImmigrationOS, which was also developed by Palantir, much to the consternation of privacy and civil rights advocates. Palantir was co-founded by Trump supporter and Elon Musk pal Peter Thiel.

Designed to serve as the backbone of HSI’s investigative operations, ICM allows agents and analysts to create, track, and manage criminal investigations across a broad range of activities, including human trafficking, transnational crime, cybercrime, narcotics, financial offenses, and immigration violations.

ICM facilitates the documentation and organization of investigative case files, evidence, intelligence reports, and inter-agency communications, and supports advanced data analytics, link analysis, and cross-referencing of individuals, entities, locations, and events. Critically, ICM also integrates with other federal law enforcement systems, providing a shared investigative ecosystem where information can be securely accessed and disseminated across agencies in real time.

ICE describes ICM as a core operational tool that enhances decision-making, helps deconflict investigations, and enables collaboration within and beyond DHS. It is also used to generate and manage legal documents, manage leads and tips, and ensure proper chain-of-custody and evidentiary protocols for prosecutions.

ICE’s decision to pursue Palantir as its exclusive vendor was revealed in its “sources sought” notice released by ICE’s Office of Acquisition Management in collaboration with the Information Technology Division (ITD) and HSI. The notice, which invites feedback from industry stakeholders through June 20, emphasizes that ICE has already determined that Palantir is uniquely positioned to meet the agency’s technical, operational, and security needs.

This move follows several years of procurement planning and vendor evaluation, including an industry day held in June 2023 and a formal Request for Information in July 2024. More than fifty responses were received, and multiple commercial-off-the-shelf technology demonstrations were conducted. Despite the variety of participants, ICE ultimately concluded that only Palantir could meet the high-performance, high-security, and integration standards necessary to deploy the next iteration of ICM by its critical September 2026 deadline.

Violent Trump-hating anonymous X account is revealed to be high-ranking Naval JAG officer…

Another day, another unhinged leftist crashing and burning on social media… this time, it’s a Navy JAG officer who thought hiding behind an anonymous X account would give him a free pass to spew violent, anti-American garbage online.

Boy, was he wrong.

Meet Benjamin “Benny” France.

Just last year, he was posting proud updates on LinkedIn about joining the US Navy JAG Corps—something he was doing to follow in his dad’s footsteps—and taking the oath to defend the Constitution. Fast forward to this week, and Benny, behind a burner account, was threatening to “hunt down” federal agents, including ICE officers and January 6th defendants. Yes, you read that right: an active-duty US military officer publicly threatening federal agents.

When his identity was finally exposed, Benny panicked. He quickly deactivated his account and hoped to slip quietly back into the shadows. But the internet doesn’t work that way. The damage was done.

His chain of command has been notified, and for anyone interested in following up with Benny’s bosses, the contact info is already circulating. And it should be. This kind of threatening behavior toward law enforcement agents, who are already under constant fire, cannot be tolerated, especially from an officer whose entire job is to provide legal advice to command and influence policy that impacts thousands of sailors.

Watch arrogant way NYC anti-ICE protesters mock mom begging them to let her get to work

A Big Apple mom was filmed begging anti-ICE protesters to let her get to her job as they blocked traffic Tuesday — just for one to admit he didn’t care while sarcastically mocking her.

“I have a kid and I need to go to work,” the unidentified woman pleaded with a man and a woman after getting out of her car during Tuesday’s protests, where at least 80 demonstrators were arrested.

One of the demonstrators shot back, “These people are having their children taken.”

“But what about my kid?” the mom asked despondently.

Savanah Hernandez, a reporter with Turning Point USA who filmed the exchange, asked the two protesters how they felt as “white people … stopping a black woman from going to work?”

FIRM Radicals Lead Well-Funded Network Of Anti-ICE Pirates

The Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM) believes it’s unfair to round up criminal illegal immigrants and expel them from the country that they have invaded. FIRM “forcefully condemns” what it is painting as the Trump administration’s “increasingly authoritarian and violent campaign against immigrant communities and the people of the United States.”

I asked the far-left activists if they:

› “Forcefully condemn” the violence against federal law enforcement officials who are doing their jobs enforcing U.S. immigration laws?

› “Forcefully condemn” the criminals identifying as protesters who are smashing up and burning down private and taxpayer-funded property in a wave of lawlessness?

› “Forcefully condemn” violent, illegal aliens roving the streets in search of their next victims?

› “Forcefully condemn” the rule of law that the vast majority of Americans voted for?

FIRM representatives did not respond to my questions. Surprised? They also had nothing to say about where they stand on the actual terrorizing of communities by violent gangs made up of illegal immigrants insanely granted “asylum” by the Biden administration.

Notorious ‘LAScanner,’ Who Doxxed ICE Officers and Released Live Information of ICE Operations, Is a Felon and Stalker Who Was Ordered by a Court This Year to NOT USE Surveillance Equipment and Radio Scanners

LA Scanner on X made headlines this week after the account started publishing the location of ICE raids in Los Angeles and doxxed ICE agents in the area.

It was then revealed that far-left activist Jack Quillin was the man behind the “LA Scanner” on X account.

According to Amuse on X, Quillin who runs the LA Scanner account “doxxed federal agents and directed protesters to federal buildings before and during the riots. As a result, both the agents and the buildings were repeatedly attacked. Last night he began to realize that he was putting lives in danger stating, “I genuinely hope this doesn’t end in anyone losing their life” after posting the address of a federal agent. When he provided a list of federal offices in the LA area to protesters he made sure to remind them to remain peaceful. Quillin’s operation, NightSunTV, LLC, collected the names, addresses, photos of federal officials going as far as to build an interactive map that provided a real-time view of their locations throughout the LA area.”

Quillin was reportedly running his operation from Texas.

It now appears that Quillin was illegally operating his online operation and likely broke his court-ordered stipulations defined in his docket earlier this year, just five months ago.

Earlier this year, in January, Jack Quillin was ordered by a court not to use or have access to surveillance equipment or radio scanners.

Gavin Newsom And His Cruel Notion Of ‘Cruel’

Recently, Gov. Newsom weighed in on the Trump administration’s efforts to undo the last four years of border destruction, when an estimated 10-12 million illegal aliens entered the U.S. unlawfully—among them thousands with criminal records.

Of the recent Los Angeles efforts of ICE to detain those who entered and reside here illegally, the governor proclaimed:

Continued chaotic federal sweeps, across California, to meet an arbitrary arrest quota are as reckless as they are cruel. Donald Trump’s chaos is eroding trust, tearing families apart, and undermining the workers and industries that power America’s economy.”

Dissect that statement, and almost everything Newsom said was either not factual or misleading.

Chaotic?” What is chaotic is allowing 12 million unaudited migrants into the U.S. ahead of those waiting years for background checks and legal permission.

The current antidote to a truly chaotic, nonexistent border was to bring some legality and order back to immigration—and not to perpetuate a wild-west border, drug smuggling, cartel profiteering, and child trafficking and abandonment, which were the Biden-era norms.

Chaotic is 1,000 rioters in southern California swarming ICE officers, endangering their safety and lives—and then being contextualized, excused, or even supported by the governor of the state, who supposedly is an upholder of our laws and their enforcement.

Each time Mayor Karen Bass and Governor Gavin Newsom side with violent protests and the intimidation of ICE officers, the greater the chance that an officer will be seriously injured or killed—and the violence will spike. Apparently, both think they are riding a wave of public support, when in fact the latest CBS poll found 54 percent of Americans support such deportations.

California’s elected officials seem clueless that the optics of illegal immigrants torching autos, attacking law enforcement, or pelting bystanders, while waving Mexican flags, are terrible. What is the logic of waving the flag of the country to which one is violently opposed to returning, while assaulting the officers and infrastructure of the very nation in which one is demanding to remain?

Anti-ICE Protests Spread to Texas, San Francisco as L.A. Riots Continue

As anti-ICE riots began over the weekend in Los Angeles, involving people throwing objects at law enforcement officials, spray-painting and vandalizing vehicles, and looting businesses, protests have spread to Austin and Dallas, Texas, and San Francisco.

A protest against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents with “dozens of people” started on “Dallas’ Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge” on Monday night, according to Fox4 News.

KXAN News reported that as of 10:08 p.m. (CDT), protesters in Austin had torn “down construction barriers, scooters and other equipment” and were “throwing it in the middle” of the street as they walked.

Prior to this, law enforcement officials in Austin had warned protesters to “get off the street” around 9:31 p.m., according to the outlet.
