Newly Revealed FBI Messages Expose Agency’s Suppression of Hunter Biden Laptop Story Ahead of 2020 Election: Report

Newly revealed internal FBI messages have uncovered a startling effort by the agency to quash the explosive Hunter Biden laptop story in the lead-up to the 2020 election. These documents, released by the House Judiciary Committee, show a coordinated effort by senior FBI officials to suppress any discussion of the laptop, which could have severely impacted the Biden campaign.

The documents reveal that on October 14, 2020, the FBI had possession of the laptop and confirmed its authenticity but still sought to downplay its significance. One internal message from that day advised agents, “Please do not discuss Biden matter,” despite the fact that the story was breaking across news outlets.

This coordinated effort allowed Big Tech companies to censor the story, claiming it was “Russian disinformation” without evidence, according to Trending Politics.

In testimony to Congress, Laura Dehmlow, head of the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force, confirmed that an FBI analyst attempted to confirm the laptop’s authenticity to Twitter, only to be admonished and silenced by senior officials. These actions contradicted the FBI’s public stance that it was working to combat foreign interference, raising concerns about the agency’s role in suppressing free speech.

FBI Weaponizes Background Checks To Enforce California Gun Ban

When you go to a gun store to buy a new gun, you can expect a few things to happen.  First, some paperwork.  Second, you can expect to have to pass a background check before leaving with your gun.  And third, you can expect that the gun store will keep a record of your purchase for as long as the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) requires.  After all, that is how the government traces crime guns back to their original purchasers.

But what you might not expect is an FBI agent receiving a ping that you – yes, you – just successfully bought a gun.  And you might be surprised to learn that this agent has been receiving notifications of your purchases for months – or years.

Of course, such a surveillance scheme would be flatly unconstitutional – not to mention a violation of several safeguards already codified in federal law.  Yet slowly but surely, the government has been building a record of the private collections of thousands of American citizens, even though federal law expressly prohibits that “any system of registration of firearms, firearms owners, or firearms transactions or dispositions” be established.

Of course, even though they are being monitored, these victims remain law-abiding, meaning the government has no probable cause to justify seeking a warrant authorizing such a search in the first place.

Now, Gun Owners of America has discovered that the FBI has been using its Second Amendment surveillance program not only to enforce federal law, but also to help California target owners of newly banned “assault weapons.”

FBI’s NICS Monitoring Scheme

When news first broke of the FBI and ATF’s joint “NICS Monitoring” surveillance scheme, the public was shocked.  As journalist John Crump reported in April of 2021, “monitoring of NICS isn’t for prohibited people,” but rather those who are eligible to purchase firearms but who law enforcement agents nevertheless suspect might commit a crime.

GOA learned that targets of NICS Monitoring – which exploits records in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (“NICS”) before they are deleted within 24 hours – never receive notice that their firearm transactions are being monitored.  Thus, there is no way to challenge the FBI’s surveillance.

In fact, in order to enroll a target for NICS Monitoring, an agent only needs to complete an internal request form. At no point does an agent seeking NICS Monitoring have to convince a judge (or anyone other than himself, really) that this surveillance comports with the Fourth Amendment.  Entirely usurpingly, then, the FBI’s abuse of NICS Monitoring is rampant.

FBI raids home of prominent computer scientist who has gone incommunicado

A prominent computer scientist who has spent 20 years publishing academic papers on cryptography, privacy, and cybersecurity has gone incommunicado, had his professor profile, email account, and phone number removed by his employer Indiana University, and had his homes raided by the FBI. No one knows why.

Xiaofeng Wang has a long list of prestigious titles. He was the associate dean for research at Indiana University’s Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering, a fellow at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and a tenured professor at Indiana University at Bloomington. According to his employer, he has served as principal investigator on research projects totaling nearly $23 million over his 21 years there.

He has also co-authored scores of academic papers on a diverse range of research fields, including cryptography, systems security, and data privacy, including the protection of human genomic data. I have personally spoken to him on three occasions for articles herehere, and here.

“None of this is in any way normal”

In recent weeks, Wang’s email account, phone number, and profile page at the Luddy School were quietly erased by his employer. Over the same time, Indiana University also removed a profile for his wife, Nianli Ma, who was listed as a Lead Systems Analyst and Programmer at the university’s Library Technologies division.

FBI Becomes Rent-A-Cops for CEOs

America’s top law enforcement agency is pimping itself out to corporate America to protect business executives from the American people, according to an FBI threat assessment marked “Law Enforcement Use Only” and reported here for the first time.

The FBI assessment, “Heightened Threat to Chief Executive Officers Following the Shooting of a Healthcare Senior Executive,” is dated February 19, and is a striking illustration of the new and growing Domestic War on Terrorism that I’ve been writing about.

The assessment, and statements from top Trump officials, seek to label growing outrage against corporations as terrorism. The Trump administration is particularly spun up about the spate of arson and vandalism attacks against Tesla automobiles and facilities since its CEO became plenipotentiary to the world’s most powerful man.

The FBI document was obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by transparency nonprofit Property of the People. “If the government truly cares about preventing death and suffering, perhaps tax dollars should be spent on healthcare for the people instead of mass surveillance and security for wealthy executives,” executive director Ryan Shapiro told me.

Part of the FBI’s campaign involves monitoring social media posts supposedly threatening corporate executives. The assessment claims that there has been a spike of such threats across multiple industries since Luigi Mangione’s alleged murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December. That month, I reported on a separate NYPD threat report warning that “online reactions” to the Thompson murder suggest “extremists may view Mangione as … an example to follow.”

The new FBI assessment follows the same line of thought, saying, “This rhetoric has displayed an elevated threat of violence to executives and highlighted a need for increased situational awareness among private sector partners.” Social media threats have “risen” across all sectors and industries, it adds.

FBI Director Kash Patel said during his swearing in that the Bureau is going to carry out “the world’s largest manhunt” against “anyone that wishes to do harm to our way of life,” as I’ve previously reported. On Monday, Patel announced a “crack down” on vandalism directed at Tesla, calling the acts “domestic terrorism.”

Trump to declassify Crossfire Hurricane documents exposing FBI’s ‘Russia hoax’ against him

President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed an order to finally declassify documents related to the FBI‘s ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ investigation, which probed whether there was ‘collusion’ between the president’s 2016 campaign and Russia.

Trump has long called the FBI ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’ probe a ‘hoax’ and it sucked up months of media attention during his first term.

During an event with ambassadors Tuesday, Trump took time at the top to sign several executive orders, including the Crossfire Hurricane declassification memo.

‘It gives the media the right to go in and go and check it, you probably won’t bother because you’re not going to like what you see,’ the president explained. ‘But this was total weaponization. It’s a disgrace.’

The order declassified everything to do with the investigation that the FBI hadn’t marked for redaction days before Trump departed the White House in January 2021.

It also didn’t apply to materials protected by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, the order read.

‘Is anybody going to look? What about you, are you going to look?’ Trump asked the reporters in the room.

‘Frankly the FBI should be ashamed of themselves and so should the Department of Justice and so should Biden,’ he added.

Josh McKoon Fundraiser Referred To The FBI

The Georgia Record has become aware of contact between multiple sources in Georgia and FBI offices stationed in Georgia.

One such source reports that the FBI has been made aware of circumstances surrounding McKoon’s fundraising dinner held in November 2023.

McKoon is employed as General Counsel for the Technical College System of Georgia, hence he is a State employee.      His LinkedIn account confirms that he has been employed in this role since 2020.

McKoon was elected to Chair the Georgia Republican Party (Now referred to as the “Georgia Republican Party, Inc.”) at the GOP State Convention held in June 2023, approximately 5 months before the aforementioned fundraising dinner.

The promotional announcement for the Dinner shown above indicates the option of paying $5000 to be seated at a table with Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, $3000 to be seated at other tables, or $1000 to attend a reception only.

The FBI was reportedly contacted concerning questions surrounding a current state employee, recently elected to GOP office, raising funds via an event which seems to provide access to himself and/or potentially the Lt. Gov. of Georgia.

Also of note is that Josh McKoon is listed as “Josh McKoon for Georgia” on the promotional announcement.   Many candidates, as they run for office, utilize various descriptions such  as “for Georgia” or “4 Georgia”  during their campaign.

DHS, FBI To “Hunt Down” Swatting “Cowards”

The Department of Homeland Security will “hunt down” leftists responsible for making hoax calls to police resulting in SWAT teams being dispatched to the homes of conservative influencers and journalists according to Secretary Kristi Noem.

“Under President Trump’s leadership, we will not sit idly by as conservative new media and their families are being targeted by false swatting,” Noem said in a statement.

She added that “DHS has the ability to trace phone numbers and track location information. We will use it to hunt these cowards down.”

“This is an attack on our law enforcement and innocent families and we will prosecute it as such,” Noem further vowed.

FBI Director Kash Patel has also stated that the ongoing swatting will not be tolerated.

“The FBI is aware of this dangerous trend, and my team and I are already taking action to investigate and hold those responsible accountable,” Patel noted.

“This isn’t about politics—weaponizing law enforcement against ANY American is not only morally reprehensible but also endangers lives, including those of our officers. That will not be tolerated,” he further emphasised.

Anti-Trump FBI Agent Caught Red-Handed with Classified Docs, Trying To Flee

In a stunning turn of events, Johnathan Buma, an anti-Trump FBI agent, was arrested on charges of disclosing classified information. Buma, a 15-year veteran of the bureau, was apprehended just as he was about to board an international flight on Monday, according to ABC News. The arrest underscores the deep-seated political bias within certain factions of the FBI, a bias that has been a recurring theme since President Donald Trump’s first administration. Buma’s actions reveal not only a breach of trust but also a troubling pattern of anti-Trump sentiment within the bureau, which has often been downplayed or ignored by the liberal media.

Court documents reveal that Buma printed approximately 130 files from the FBI’s internal network, many of which were marked as confidential. He also shared a draft of a book he was writing about his career in the FBI, which contained sensitive information about the bureau’s investigations into a foreign country’s weapons of mass destruction (WMD) program. This reckless behavior raises serious questions about the integrity of individuals within the FBI who have been vocal critics of President Trump. Buma’s arrest is a stark reminder of the dangers posed by those who prioritize their political agendas over national security.

Buma’s history of anti-Trump sentiment is well-documented. Last year, he told Business Insider that political bias during Trump’s first administration pushed him to become a “whistleblower.” He claimed that the FBI ignored his leads linking Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, to Russian intelligence. “Rudy Giuliani may have been compromised by individuals suspected of being involved in Russian counterintelligence influence operations,” Buma said. “I saw important intelligence information being suppressed.” These allegations, which were never substantiated, were eagerly picked up by the liberal media, which has consistently sought to undermine President Trump and his administration.

Buma also dismissed the Hunter Biden-Burisma scandal and the infamous laptop from hell as part of a disinformation campaign. This narrative, pushed by Buma and echoed by the liberal media, has been thoroughly debunked. The laptop, which contained damning evidence of corruption involving Hunter Biden and his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, was authentic. Yet, the liberal media chose to ignore this, instead promoting the false narrative that it was Russian disinformation. Buma’s arrest exposes the lengths to which some within the FBI and the media have gone to protect the Biden family and discredit President Trump.

The arrest of Johnathan Buma is a victory for those who have long argued that the FBI has been weaponized against President Trump. It also highlights the hypocrisy of the liberal media, which has consistently turned a blind eye to the misconduct of anti-Trump figures while relentlessly attacking the president and his allies. The media’s refusal to hold individuals like Buma accountable for their actions is a clear indication of their bias.

Now We Know Biden’s Role in the FBI’s Witch Hunt Against Trump

The FBI’s relentless witch hunt against Donald Trump has taken yet another bizarre turn. New revelations show the bureau secretly obtained Trump and Pence’s government phones from Biden’s White House in May 2022, as part of their “investigation.”

“The Biden White House turned over government cellphones belonging to President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence to the FBI in May 2022 as part of a bureau probe into the aftermath of the 2020 election, tying Trump to that investigation without sufficient predication,” Fox News Digital reports

According to the report, the FBI did not need a warrant to obtain the government phones, but sources told the outlet that “after acquiring the devices, agents began drafting a search warrant to extract the phones’ data.”

“The Biden White House played right along with the FBI’s ‘gotcha’ scheme against Trump,” a source told Fox News Digital. “Biden’s Office of White House Counsel, under the leadership of Dana Remus and Jonathan Su, gave its blessing and accommodation for the FBI to physically obtain Trump and Pence’s phones in early May 2022. Weeks later, the FBI began drafting a search warrant to extract the phones’ data.”

The phones were obtained and entered as evidence as part of the FBI’s original anti-Trump 2020 election investigation, which eventually was taken over by special counsel Jack Smith. That case was known inside the bureau as “Arctic Frost” and was opened April 13, 2022, by anti-Trump former FBI agent Timothy Thibault.

Thibault, according to whistleblowers, broke protocol and played a critical role in opening and advancing the bureau’s original investigation related to the 2020 election, tying Trump to the probe without sufficient predication. Thibault broke protocol by taking action to open the investigation and involve Trump despite being unauthorized to open criminal investigations in his role. Only special agents have the authority to open criminal investigations.

Thibault vowed to make the investigation “prioritized over all others in the Branch” and, at the time, commented that “it frankly took too long for us to open this (investigation),” according to documents reviewed by Fox News Digital.

You can’t make this stuff up. We now know that Biden’s team was all too happy to help the FBI in its latest partisan crusade.

Whistleblower disclosures reviewed by Fox News Digital reveal an aggressive DOJ and FBI investigation targeting Trump and his allies. The disclosures were provided to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and Senate Subcommittee on Investigations Chairman Ron Johnson, who sent them to Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel on Thursday.

FBI Investigating “Alarming Rise In ‘Swatting’ Incidents” Targeting Conservative Influencers

FBI Director Kash Patel on Friday responded to a string of ‘swatting’ incidents targeting conservative media figures in recent days, which came on the heels of the Monday morning murder of InfoWars reporter Jamie White.

Multiple conservative content creators, including InfoWars host Chase Geiser, Nick Sotor, Gunther Eagleman, ‘Catturd,’ and Trump impersonator Shawn Farash, have been targeted in swatting incidents, which typically entail fake or prank phone calls to emergency services that trigger an armed response from police officers to a particular address.

I want to address the alarming rise in ‘swatting’ incidents targeting media figures. The FBI is aware of this dangerous trend, and my team and I are already taking action to investigate and hold those responsible accountable,” Patel wrote on X Friday morning.

On Wednesday, Geiser posted on X that he was “was just swatted again moments ago, just before 2AM,” and that police officers “used a PA system to call me by name and order me to walk out of my house.”

Geiser was swatted twice within a twelve hour period, the first time Tuesday afternoon and again early Wednesday morning just before 2AM. He described the first incident on the Alex Jones Show, noting that he and his family weren’t at home when the police showed up at his house. Geiser said when he met the police in his driveway, they were still receiving  311 messages about his property. “So there was a campaign of swatting my property,” he told Jones.

After the second incident, the Info Wars reporter posted on X that “6 to 8 police officers used a PA system to call me by name and order me to walk out of my house.”

I was handcuffed in the middle of the street, presumably at gunpoint though I couldn’t tell because of the light being shined on my face.

I was then led into the house where my wife was woken up and we were informed that they received a call from someone pretending to be me and threatening to kill my family. –American Greatness
