Biden accused of photoshopping himself into Easter family picture: ‘This is so bizarre’

The internet was abuzz Sunday as sleuths tried to figure out whether former President Joe Biden photoshopped himself into his family’s Easter picture.

Biden, 82, posted a picture featuring his family sitting on some steps in Delaware — without scandal-scarred son Hunter Biden — on X.

The former president was apparently seated on the top step wearing a blue suit — but social media users quickly became skeptical of whether the octogenarian was actually there.

X users noted Biden’s strange hand placement, the lighting on his face and his overall positioning, making it unclear if he’s crouching or sitting behind his family.

Former first lady Jill Biden’s hair also looks altered on her right side, where her husband’s suit is, raising more alarm.

“I mean this is obviously photoshopped right? Is he supposed to be standing? Crouching down? This doesn’t even look like a plausible physically position guys,” one social media user wrote.

“This is photoshop. Biden face is brightly lit from top/bottom. Everyone else’s is diffused (shaded) Biden has no discernible shadow. Jill casts a shadow, Biden does not. Super awkward body position. Head size doesn’t match depth line. Is [Joe Biden] alive?” wrote another.

“Is your forearm 4ft long?” wrote a third. “With your arm at that angle, it’s physically impossible for those to be your fingers. Who the hell is doing this crappy Photoshop job?”

Tennessee Star reporter Tom Pappert wrote: “Why is Biden wearing a full suit and tie and TV makeup for this loving family photo”?

Over 1,300 Easter truce violations by Ukraine – MOD

The Russian military has been targeted more than 1,300 times by Ukrainian forces in the less than 24 hours since the declaration of an Easter truce by both sides, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier that the pause in hostilities would be in effect from 6:00pm Moscow time on Saturday, and last until midnight on Monday. He instructed the country’s military to stay on high alert and be ready “to respond to any violations or provocations.” Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky answered a few hours later that Kiev’s forces “will act in a reciprocal way.”

The Defense Ministry said in a statement on Sunday that “despite the announcement of the Easter truce,” Ukrainian forces attempted to assault the positions of the Russian military in the areas of the settlements of Sukhaya Balka and Bogatyr in Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic overnight. The attacks were repelled, it added.

Kiev’s troops also used 48 plane-type UAVs against the Russian military, including one in Crimea, the statement read.

“The Ukrainian units fired 444 times from cannons and mortars at the positions of our troops, [and] carried out 900 strikes with quadcopter drones,” the ministry said.

Liberal Anti-Trump Group Planning to Protest Nationwide Over Easter Weekend — Claims to Be Mobilizing Three Million People

The 50501 Movement, an anti-Trump protest organization, plans to hold a series of protests across the United States over Easter weekend.

The group claims to have 400 events scheduled nationwide on Saturday, in all 50 states. It also claims to be mobilizing over three million people.

“We are trying to protect our democracy against the rise of authoritarianism under the Trump administration,” Hunter Dunn, a spokesperson for the group, told the Washington Post.

The 50501 Movement’s name stands for “50 protests. 50 states. 1 movement.” It is self-described as being led by people who “have been on the front lines of justice, marching in support of Black Lives Matter, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and disability rights.”

The group first gained prominence with its initial protests on February 5, 2025, which saw over 80 protests nationwide.

In a post about the protests on their website, 50501 says, “April 19 will be a Day of Action: a nationwide grassroots response to authoritarian threats, political overreach, and the erosion of democracy.”

Russia announces Easter ceasefire

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a temporary Easter pause in hostilities with Ukraine, which is slated to begin at 18:00 Moscow time on Saturday and last until midnight on April 21.

The announcement came during his meeting with Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov in Moscow. Putin expressed hope that Kiev would demonstrate goodwill and adhere to the ceasefire.

”At the same time, our troops must be prepared to respond to any violations or provocations by the adversary, to any aggressive actions,” he said.

Putin stated that Ukraine’s reaction to the ceasefire would be a clear indicator of whether Kiev is sincerely willing to engage in negotiations to end the conflict.

Joe Biden DENIES proclaiming Easter Sunday trans visibility day: ‘I didn’t do that’ — (he did)

“I didn’t do that,” Biden said in response to a question about his signing of the proclamation designating Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility. This comes after backlash over the issuance of the designation which angered Christians in the United States.

Biden went on to accuse House Speaker Mike Johnson of essentially lying when the Speaker called the President out over the proclamation, which overshadowed the White House response to Easter, the holiest day on the Christian calendar. Biden said Johnson was “thoroughly uninformed.”

Johnson pointed out the proclamation to the president, asking “This you, Joe Biden?” And indeed it was.

White House pushed Trans Day messaging on English accounts, but not to Spanish speakers

The Biden White House social media account “La Casa Blanca” did not post anything related to “Transgender Day of Visibility” while the English White House account on X made a post on Easter to declare the LGBTQ recognition day.

Over the weekend, the Biden administration faced backlash for issuing a proclamation for March 31 as “Transgender Day of Visibility” when the holiest Christian holiday, Easter Sunday, fell on the same day. A proclamation from Biden was issued about March 31 on Good Friday that read, “By virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility.” The day was established in 2009 and Biden has proclaimed it repeatedly during his administration.

On Easter Sunday, Biden’s social media accounts made several different posts about both Easter and “Transgender Day of Visibility.” One account, that was lacking any post related to the LGBTQ holiday, however, was the Spanish iteration of the White House account, “La Casa Blanca.”

The posts that were issued for the Spanish White House account only celebrated Easter and Cesar Chavez.

White House Responds to Christian and GOP Backlash Over ‘Transgender Day of Visibility’ Proclamation — Does Not Apologize

The White House has responded to the backlash from Christians over the “Transgender Day of Visibility” proclamation issued by Joe Biden.

Biden declared March 31 to be a holiday honoring transgender people — but this March 31, of course, is Easter.

“NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility,” the White House proclamation declared. “I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.”

Biden, who says he is a “devout” Catholic, has also banned religious artwork from the White House Easter egg competition.

Naturally, the absurd gesture sparked massive outrage from Republicans, including former President Donald Trump.

The Trump campaign issued a statement saying, “It is appalling and insulting that Joe Biden’s White House prohibited children from submitting religious egg designs for their Easter Art Event, and formally proclaimed Easter Sunday as ‘Trans Day of Visibility.’ Sadly, these are just two more examples of the Biden Administration’s years-long assault on the Christian faith. We call on Joe Biden’s failing campaign and White House to issue an apology to the millions of Catholics and Christians across America who believe tomorrow is for one celebration only — the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

Biden Replaces Easter Sunday With ‘Transgender Day of Visibility’

Joe Biden has issued a proclamation marking March 31, which is Easter Sunday, as “Transgender Day of Visibility.”

Yes, really.

The proclamation states “I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility.”

It adds “I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.”

The rest of the proclamation is basically an advert for how great transgenderism is and how much Biden loves it and has done to support it with Executive Orders.

Whoever wrote it also couldn’t resist injecting the usual divisive vitriol, claiming “extremists are proposing hundreds of hateful laws that target and terrify transgender kids and their families — silencing teachers; banning books; and even threatening parents, doctors, and nurses with prison for helping parents get care for their children.”

In other words, if you want protections in place to prevent children being subjected to pornographic books in schools, or being offered life altering surgery without parental consent by money grabbing ‘doctors’, then you’re an “extremist.”

Biden Getting Together With Family For Easter, Despite Urging Against Gatherings Until July

Rules for thee but not for me.

As many people are celebrating Easter today, Joe Biden had been urging against gatherings, saying in March that his goal would be for people to get together for “small family gatherings” perhaps by the Fourth of July to hold barbecues and normal celebrations.

From NY Post:

“By July the Fourth there’s a good chance you, your families and friends will be able to get together in your backyard or in your neighborhood and have a cookout or a barbecue and celebrate Independence Day,” Biden said.

“That doesn’t mean large events with lots of people together, but it does mean small groups will be able to get together. After this long hard year, it will make this Independence Day something truly special, where we not only mark our independence as a nation, but we begin to mark our independence from this virus.”

He reiterated that on April 2.
