Whose fault? America’s!

The blame game within the Democratic Party has begun. Supporters of Vice President Kamala Harris are now turning on President Joe Biden and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, blaming the two for her loss in the election against President-elect Donald Trump.
On the morning after the election on Wednesday, Nov. 6, Harris addressed a crowd of her supporters in Washington, D.C. and announced that she had conceded the race to Trump. During her speech, she encouraged her supporters to not lose hope, saying that while the race for the presidency has ended, she has not conceded “the fight that fueled this campaign.”
With Harris’ concession, political analysts, Democratic insiders and regular liberals and supporters of the vice president’s campaign have started pointing fingers in an attempt to find a scapegoat to hold responsible for Trump’s victory.
This election is considered to be a devastating loss to the Democrats, who lost not only the presidency but also the Senate and the House of Representatives – which pollsters thought could flip back to the Democratic Party.
One of the people standing out as prime targets for blame is Biden, with Democrats believing him dropping out far too late deprived the party of being able to democratically decide on a candidate through primaries.
Biden is also being blamed by the party’s left-wing who believe that the Biden administration’s stance on Israel and the Harris campaign’s attempts to appeal to the pro-Israel lobby, to moderate voters and to anti-Trump Republicans were all huge mistakes.
Other Harris supporters have also taken their ire out on Walz for a variety of reasons, including that he is too progressive, too “folksy” and too tainted by the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests, which began in Minneapolis following the death of African American man George Floyd.
Most Democrats (and those Republicans looking to be helpful) are offering up their considered opinions about why the Democrats lost so badly, so totally, in such a gloriously complete manner.
Obviously, I’m not one of those Republicans wanting to be “helpful.” I guess being called a “fascist” and a “racist” makes the Democrats’ drubbing immensely satisfying to me.
Democrats are in the same position as someone who knows they’re very sick but can’t for the life of them figure out what the problem is. Could it be that golf ball-sized lump on their head? Perhaps it’s the bleeding from their ear that’s related to the cause.
The truth is, Democrats know damn well what the problem with their party is but they have so much invested in identity politics, gender craziness, and woke culture that if they gave it all up, they’d have to do something they’d rather die than do.
They’d have to admit they were wrong about all of it.
And for the arrogant elitists who have spent their careers looking down their nose at us plebes, it would just be too bitter a pill to swallow. So they search frantically — not for the most plausible or the actual reasons for their drubbing but for an explanation that sounds reasonable enough to pass muster with the rest of the far left.
“The Democratic Party needs to be rebuilt,” said Pramila Jayapal, chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. “We have become a party of elites, whether we abandoned working-class people, whether they abandoned us, whether it’s some combination of all of the above.”
When a party promotes open borders, gender transformation for kids, and punishment for using the wrong pronoun, I would say that working-class voters ran from the Democrats while screaming in terror at the thought of these wackos governing.
The Free Press’s Bari Weiss speaking on Fox News::
i[I] turns out that running on these extraordinarily niche issues like gender fluidity or defunding the police or any number of things that people in places where I live get extremely excited about don’t actually matter or frankly, feel profoundly out of touch to ordinary Americans. So if “progressive” is about, you know, these niche issues that you find in on college campuses and in gender studies department, and you want to keep doubling down on that, you’re going to continue to lose.
Justice Sonia Sotomayor has rejected demands to step down and allow Democrats to try and appoint a replacement before Trump takes office in January.
According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Sotomayor “has no plans to retire from the Supreme Court,” effectively ending plans to replace her.
“This is no time to lose her important voice on the court,” a person close to Sotomayor was quoted as saying. “She just turned 70 and takes better care of herself than anyone I know.”
Earlier this week, Politico reported that Democratic leaders were “agonizing” over whether to try and force Sotomayor out of the door before Trump takes back the White House.
The 70-year-old justice is known to suffer from diabetes and other health issues, creating the possibility that her seat may become open during his presidency.
The report explains:
For Democrats, this is a hair-on-fire moment. And though the discourse in the media is presently dominated by recriminations about how this all happened, another arguably more urgent conversation is blowing up largely outside of public view: whether to push for 70-year-old Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to step down while Dems still have the power to approve her replacement.
This isn’t simply some flight of fancy happening among progressive activists online. It’s a conversation members of the Senate are actively engaged in.
Democrats are reportedly having serious discussions about mounting a pressure campaign to force ailing Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to resign so Joe Biden can nominate a replacement before President-Elect Donald Trump is sworn in.
After losing their Senate majority to the GOP, Democrats are concerned that Republicans will be “revving up the old conveyor belt of conservative judicial nominees” as soon President-Elect Trump takes office, Politico reported.

This isn’t simply some flight of fancy happening among progressive activists online. It’s a conversation members of the Senate are actively engaged in.
A Democrat senator told Politico that the topic of pushing Sotomayor off the Supreme Court “has come up repeatedly this week in talks with their colleagues.”
These “Beltway speculative conversations,” according to Politico, have inevitably hit roadblocks for two reasons:
(1) It’d be a risky play with the party already trying to figure out how to handle a crowded lame-duck session
(2) no senator seems to be offering to be the person to put his or her neck on their line publicly (or even privately) by pushing for Sotomayor to step aside.
When Democrats first floated the idea of jettisoning Sotomayor last year, they were accused of ableism and racism.
The names of possible replacements have been discussed, including the allegedly “moderate” D.C. Circuit Judge J. Michelle Childs, who was reportedly on Joe Biden’s SCOTUS short list, and has already been vetted.
Another name floated on Friday was none other than Kamala Harris.
The Democratic Party spent a staggering $500 billion on five key Senate races that they ended up losing by massive margins.
According to campaign filings obtained by The Daily Caller, Democratic campaigns and associated organizations spent a staggering $495 million on Senate races in Texas, Montana, Ohio, Florida and Missouri, all of which they lost by around four points.
The most expensive of these five races was in Ohio, where incumbent Senator Sherrod Brown was handily defeat by Trump-backed Republican Bernie Moreno. Around $194 million was allocated to this race, which brown lost by around four points.
Another costly race was in Montana, where Democrats sought to save incumbent Senator Jon Tester from defeat against republican Tim Sheehy. Approximately $160 million was spent on this race, with Tester ultimately losing by around eight points.
Democrats also spent big trying to unseat Texas Senator and conservative stalwart Ted Cruz. With the backing of the universally adored Liz Cheney, $92 million was spent supporting the campaign of Democratic challenger Colin Allred. Cruz ended up winning by around eight points and a whopping one million votes.
Finally, Democrats through around $51 million at Senate races in Florida and Missouri, backing the campaigns by of attorney Lucas Kunce and former Congresswoman Debbie Mucarsel-Powell respectively. Both lost by around 10 point margins.
Such reports only rub further salt in the wounds of the Democrats, who are reeling from Donald Trump’s landslide victory in this week’s presidential election.
So why did Kamala Harris’ campaign fail so badly on Tuesday? Well, the talking points have gone out, and whatever you do, don’t blame Kamala Harris! Naturally, the media has dry-swallowed enough diazepam by now to settle on an alternate explanation for her loss, best exemplified by this USA Today columnist…
Left-leaning social media users are absurdly melting down over Trump ally Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s plan to take fluoride out of America’s water supply.
Kennedy has explained one of his key steps to making America healthy again involves removing fluoride from municipal water supplies, concerned over studies showing it lowers children’s IQs, causes cancer, and triggers other harmful health effects.
After Kennedy last week said he’d press the incoming Trump administration to remove the “industrial waste” blamed for causing “neurodevelopmental disorders, and thyroid disease,” anti-Trumpers bizarrely campaigned against the effort.
“This is… not good,” wrote Democrat strategist Keith Edwards on X, offering no further comment.
The sentiment was later echoed by another leftist on Reddit following Trump’s election, complaining RFK would “GET RID OF VACCINES AND FLUORIDE.”
Democrat strategist Julie Roginsky appeared on CNN this morning and delivered some tough but fair comments to members of her party.
According to her, the problem was not Joe Biden or even Kamala Harris, but the party itself which has gone so far left that average Americans don’t even understand their language anymore.
If you watch the video below, you may agree with some of the things that Roginsky says about the Democrats.
The New York Post has details:
Dem strategist delivers scorching reality check to her own side after Harris’ loss: ‘Not party of common sense’
Democratic strategist Julie Roginsky issued “some hard truths” about Donald Trump’s historic election win during a CNN segment Thursday, claiming her own side is “not the party of common sense” and can’t talk to normal people.
“I’m going to speak some hard truths to my friends in the Democratic Party. This is not Joe Biden’s fault. It’s not Kamala Harris’ fault. It’s not Barack Obama’s fault — it is the fault of the Democratic Party in not knowing how to communicate effectively to voters,” she said.
“We are not the party of common sense, which is the message that voters sent to us.”
She argued against addressing Latinos as the Latinx because “it makes them think that we don’t even live in the same planet as they do.”
“When we are too afraid to say, ‘Hey college kids, if you’re trashing a campus at Columbia University because you’re unhappy about some sort of policy and you’re taking over a university and you’re trashing it, preventing other students from learning, that that is unacceptable,’”…
Actor George Clooney may have to enter the witness protection program before the year is over.
Many liberals who are outraged over the outcome of the election are blaming Clooney for his role in forcing Joe Biden out of the 2024 election.
Clooney wrote a column for the New York Times demanding that Biden step aside after his disastrous debate performance in June.
Now he is facing an angry mob from his own side.
Breitbart News reports:
Democrats Rage at George Clooney for Pushing Biden out Following Trump’s Blowout Victory: ‘It’s All His Fault’
George Clooney is being attacked by despairing fans in the wake of Vice President Kamala Harris’s humiliating defeat in the 2024 election campaign after the actor demanded President Joe Biden step aside in her favor.
As Breitbart News reported, the Ocean’s Eleven actor, 63, notably penned an op-ed for the New York Times in July where he called on Biden, 81, to abandon his presidential campaign, writing: “We are not going to win in November with this president.”
