Democrat DSA Candidate Angie Nixon Quotes Communist Cop-Killer Assata Shakur While Campaigning in Church

Democrat Senate candidate Angie Nixon of Florida has been working very hard to distance herself from the DSA, but she blew her cover while campaigning in a church.

Nixon quoted the notorious cop-killer and communist Assata Shakur, who fled to Cuba after breaking out of an American prison years ago.

Leftists just love figures like Shakur, who they learn about in college from Marxist professors who paint them as victims and heroes.

Angie Nixon, a Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) member who is vying to be the next senator of Florida, is still pulling quotes from Marxist cop killer Assata Shakur, although conveniently leaving out the origins of her words now that she secured her nomination and is trying to appeal to general election voters.

Speaking in a Miami church, Nixon — who recently attempted to distance herself from DSA despite her status as an active member — told the congregation, “We have nothing to lose but our chains.”

“Our chains are them telling us that we don’t have enough money for health care for all when they’re spending a billion dollars on a ballroom you’ll never get to dance in. Our chains are the fact that they are spending money to defeat ballot initiatives that you paid into that should have gone toward health care for low-income kids,” she said.

“Our chains are the fact that they are closing public schools so that they can subsidize their for-profit private school education for the billionaires and the millionaires, but they’re closing schools in our neighborhood,” she said, emphasizing, “Those are our chains.”

Rahm Emanuel: ‘I Don’t Consider Democratic Socialists Part of the Democratic Party’

During this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” former Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel rejected overtures from so-called Democrat Socialists seeking a takeover of the Democratic Party.

Emanuel said the party was not a target for a takeover and said he did not consider Democrat Socialists a part of the Democratic Party.

“I want to get your take,” host Shannon Bream said. “You know, Bernie Sanders is part of this group too, and he says, quote, ‘People are sick and tired of the Rahm Emanuels.’ They say the energy is not with the people of the past. It’s moving forward with socialism. Your response?”
Emanuel replied, “Well, here’s the thing. I don’t consider Democratic Socialists part of the Democratic Party. About four weeks ago, they had a convention in Chicago, separate party. They believe in defunding the police, letting prisoners out of prisons, opening the borders, eliminating the Pentagon. If you’re so confident people want that, I’ll see you in November. Put it on the ballot. Let’s go run as a separate party. The Democratic Party is not open to be taken over. Now, you have a progressive wing and a pragmatic wing. Now, we agree that the system is rigged against working-class, middle-class families. Agree with that. How do we fix that problem to make sure that the American dream of owning a home, saving for your retirement, saving for your kids’ education and that your health care is not a nightmare, but a peace of mind?”

“How do we get that?” he continued. “Well, we’re going to have a good, solid debate about that. And I’m for that debate. I give the progressives some credit. They have been out there with ideas. Some I agree, some I disagree with. But the pragmatic wing, which is one of the reasons I’ve been talking about education, banning anybody from public office after — and all three branches of government at the age of 75, you are done. Banning social media for kids under 16, what you have to do to invest in our energy infrastructure to make sure we’re a 21st-century economy with a 21st-century infrastructure, we owe a good, solid intellectual debate. Now, I happen to think President Clinton and President Obama, who I work for, and Nancy Pelosi, who I helped make speaker, they led the right way. The last time there was a minimum wage increase, Nancy Pelosi had the gavel. There’s no way you’re going to get there turning a blue district to midnight blue. You got to do it by flipping red districts to blue, winning red states and turning them blue. That is how it happens.”

“Now, examples of this — you know, Senator Nelson from Nebraska was a critical vote for passing ACA health care and universal coverage for people with preexisting conditions,” Emanuel added. That didn’t happen from blue states. That happened because we had a Democratic senator in a red state. Joe Manchin was key to the IRA under Joe Biden, major energy policy. He was a Democrat in West Virginia. You have to win areas. Now, look, simple — seven states, 500,000 voters across those seven states determined who was president in the last three presidential elections. You’ve got to win in areas that are not safe blue areas, but persuade independent voters to come and find alignment with the Democratic Party. And I happen to think an energized, clear idea about the future. As I said, if I decide to run, I’m not a peacetime consigliere. I’m a wartime general. I win elections and make policies happen, like universal coverage, like making sure our kids have a good education and take on the failures of the establishment, whether that’s in the government or in the private sector.”

HOW CURIOUS: Democrats Sure Don’t Want to Campaign With Joe Biden and Kamala Harris

With the midterm elections approaching, you would think that Democrats would want to campaign with the last two members of their party to occupy the White House.

Not this time.

Dems running for election in 2026 want absolutely nothing to do with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The Gateway Pundit recently reported on how this is happening in Iowa, but it is happening all over the place. Dems are avoiding Biden and Harris like the plague.

With less than 70 days until the midterm election, some Democrats running in the most conservative areas are sending a clear message to former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris: stay out of their races.

In Iowa, Democratic Senate nominee state Rep. Josh Turek — who has welcomed the support of former President Barack Obama and has twice won a seat in a district that voted for President Donald Trump — was asked if Harris should campaign for him. He simply said “No.”…

Alaska Democratic Senate nominee Mary Peltola recently distanced herself from Harris after her political action committee backed Peltola in a fundraising email.

“Mary isn’t seeking endorsements from anyone from the Lower 48 — her focus is and always will be Alaska,” Peltola’s campaign told The New York Times.

The blunt rejections, coming within days of each other in two states Trump carried by double digits in 2024, underscore a reality for Democrats: candidates fighting for independent and moderate Republican voters increasingly see the party’s brand and most recent presidential ticket as a liability.

Why would Democrats want to avoid this winning team? Didn’t Biden get 81 million votes in 2020? More than even Obama in 2008?

Texas Democrat Senate Candidate James Talarico Campaigns on Raising Taxes

Texas Senate hopeful James Talarico is now openly campaigning on raising Americans’ taxes.

Facing polls indicating his support has topped out and doubts from fellow Democrats who do not believe he has what it takes to excite minority communities, Talarico is now openly campaigning on raising taxes on Americans.

“I’ve told every wealthy person I’ve come across in this race: If you are ok with getting taxed more, if you’re ok with me limiting your influence in politics, you are welcome to join this movement that we are building,” he said, thanking billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban for being part of it.

Talarico’s campaign platform includes plans to create what he described as a “fairer” tax system.

“Make giant corporations and the wealthiest Americans pay their fair share of taxes. (That way, we can cut taxes for working families and small businesses,),” he claims – a promise that leftists often make but never deliver on for hardworking Americans. His campaign website claims that he is interested in making “billionaires pay their fair share in taxes,” including “by imposing a higher tax on their income and capital gains and ending the dubious ‘buy, borrow, die’ loopholes that billionaires use to grow untaxed wealth.”

He also wants to raise the corporate tax rate while standing up against what he described as “attacks against SNAP and WIC,” but are actually the efforts of the Trump administration to root out fraud, waste, and abuse in these programs.

So while Talarico’s rhetoric points to only taxing the wealthy, he actively opposed the “big, beautiful” bill, which kept tax cuts in place for middle-class Americans and included added benefits like no tax on tips or overtime. If this had not passed, tax brackets would have returned to pre-2018 levels.

Talarico claimed of the legislation, “In that big ugly bill, they gutted our health care, they defunded schools, and they did all that to cut taxes for their donors. So, when you’re doing the people’s business instead of your donors’ business, you fight for things like I’ve fought for at the state capitol.”

Recently, Talarico said he chose to run for the U.S. Senate instead of completing his ordination as part of his “seminary journey,” describing his campaign as another form of ministry.

“And when we’re out here and we’re giving hope to people who have been starved of hope, when we bring people together who normally wouldn’t be together, it does feel like we’re doing some kind of ministry,” Talarico said.

Notably, Talarico has a controversial history spiritually, referring to God as nonbinary without offering context or acknowledging that God uses masculine pronouns to reveal Himself. And when he delivered the invocation on the floor of the Texas House of Representatives, he closed the prayer not in the name of Jesus but in “all your many names” – not referencing Biblical names for God like Yahweh Nissi (The Lord is My Banner) or Yahweh Shalom (The Lord is peace) but pagan entities or names observed in religions such as Hinduism and Islam.

Social Media ROASTS Far-Left Abdul El-Sayed Over Painfully Awkward Endorsement Video That Looks Like a “Hostage Tape” — Woman Struggles Through Talking Points as El-Sayed Nudges Her Along

Radical Michigan Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, the socialist-backed Senate nominee who narrowly beat a more moderate opponent in August, is out with another campaign moment that is drawing widespread mockery online.

In a press conference clip circulating Monday, El-Sayed stands beside an unidentified woman at the podium as she reads from prepared remarks. She looks down at her papers, appears uncomfortable, and pauses as if she would rather be anywhere else.

Sen. Mallory McMorrow stands nearby, holding notes and has a grip on the woman’s arm. Local Detroit media microphones are clustered in front of them.

At multiple points, El-Sayed leaned toward the woman, nodded aggressively, and appeared to prod her to continue.

“Mike Rogers has a history of voting for bills that protect corporations and harm workers,” she read.

After another agonizing pause, the woman attempted to contrast Rogers with El-Sayed, saying the Democrat rejects corporate PAC money and stands with workers.

She then appeared to call El-Sayed a candidate for the Michigan state Senate, even though he is running for the United States Senate, before concluding that he is “the best person for this assignment.”

Prosecutor Blows the Whistle on NY AG Letitia James’ Office, Says He Was Ordered to “Find Crimes” Committed by Trump Despite Zero Evidence

A federal prosecutor blew the whistle on New York Attorney General Letitia James’ office and said he was ordered to “find crimes” committed by President Trump and people affiliated with Trump – despite zero evidence.

According to the Times Union, Assistant Attorney General Daniel Wiesenfeld sent an agency-wide email to thousands of employees in the New York Attorney General’s office claiming his supervisor, Shamiso Maswoswe instructed him to target “Trump himself, Truth Social, Hewlett Packard (DOJ approved merger) … without having a credible reason for targeting this organizations and individuals.”

The Times Union obtained the email that was sent out on Friday. The email was immediately deleted and wiped from the office’s servers.

Daniel Wiesenfeld wrote a follow-up email after his original message was deleted.

“If you believe Trump is using (Department of Justice) attorneys to prosecute his enemies and further his political interests, you should find it equally troubling that Tish (James) is doing exactly the same thing,” Wiesenfeld wrote, according to the Times Union.

“I ask that you not serve as Tish’s personal attorneys by targeting her political enemies. Instead, I hope you choose to prosecute crimes and find the individuals accountable, rather than targeting individuals and then finding crimes,” he wrote.

The Times Union reported:

A prosecutor in the New York attorney general’s office sent an agency-wide email to hundreds of colleagues Friday claiming that he had been instructed by his supervisor “to find and pursue crimes committed by specific individuals and organizations affiliated with Donald Trump,” according to a copy of the email obtained by the Times Union.

The prosecutor, who was assigned to the Investor Protection Bureau, alleged in his email that his bureau chief, Shamiso Maswoswe, had directed him to target “Trump himself, Truth Social, Hewlett Packard (DOJ approved merger) … without having a credible reason for targeting this organizations and individuals.”

The email sent early Friday by Assistant Attorney General Daniel Wiesenfeld, who officials said has worked for the attorney general’s office for about two years, was quickly deleted from the office’s servers and vanished from the inboxes of more than 2,000 employees. A follow-up agency-wide email subsequently sent by Attorney General Letitia James’ general counsel, Kumiki Gibson, informed employees that it was an “internal” matter and that no one in the office was “in danger,” according to three people familiar with the communication.

Letitia James previously sued President Trump and tried to secure a $400 million+ judgment against him and seize his assets, even though no victim was identified.

Last year, Letitia James was indicted by a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia.

According to the DOJ, Letitia James was charged with two crimes: Bank Fraud under 18 U.S.C. Section 1344 and False Statements to a Financial Institution under 18 U.S.C. Section 1014.

A federal judge ultimately dropped the charges against Letitia James, ruling that Interim US Attorney for the EDVA Lindsey Halligan was unlawfully appointed.

James Clyburn Basically Says Clarence Thomas ‘Ain’t Black’

Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) sat down with Kristen Welker on Meet the Press Sunday, and the segment on the Supreme Court went about as you’d expect from a Democrat these days. He’s on board with Kamala Harris’s push to expand the Court to 13 justices, because of course he is. I don’t care how many times Democrats swear this isn’t about seizing permanent power. Packing the bench only becomes a priority whenever they’re the ones stuck losing decisions, and something tells me Clyburn’s enthusiasm for a bigger bench is entirely dependent on which party gets to fill those seats.

But that’s not even the part of the interview that made me sit up.

Welker brought up something I had no idea about: Clyburn testified in favor of Clarence Thomas’s Supreme Court confirmation back in 1991.

Welker even played the tape.

“It’s a pleasure for me to be here today to present testimony in favor of my good friend, Clarence Thomas,” Clyburn said in the old clip. “I have known Clarence for ten years and I consider him to be a personal and professional friend, in spite of the fact that he shares a conservative Republican philosophy.”

I looked up his entire testimony, and I was floored. Clyburn praised him as “zealous in his pursuit of the facts and intellectually honest and objective.”

Most significantly, Clyburn said civil-rights officials who worked with Thomas found him “highly compassionate, sensitive, judicious” and possessed of the “intellectual honesty that is required in this field.” Despite their disagreements, Clyburn said he had “never found anything in his philosophy of a nature to deny him this Supreme Court confirmation.” He concluded that Thomas was “deeply committed to an even-handed system of justice” and possessed “the integrity, the conscientious spirit, and the basic sense of fairness” required of a Supreme Court justice.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul Dons Hijab While Speaking to Group of Muslim Men

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul was spotted wearing a hijab while addressing a predominantly male Muslim audience in New York City on Friday.

Video circulating online shows the Democratic governor speaking in a black headscarf during a visit publicized by the Islamic Center of New York.

“I want to thank His Excellency Mr. [Tareq] Albanai,” Hochul says in the clip, before thanking an imam and other officials associated with the organization.

In Islamic culture, the hijab is traditionally worn as a sign of “modesty,” intended to shield a woman’s body from the gaze of men.

It is not the first time Hochul has worn an Islamic head covering in public.
