Justice Department to Announce Charges against Democrat Rep LaMonica McIver for Assaulting ICE Agents

The Justice Department is set to announce charges against Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver as early as today after she assaulted ICE agents at the Delaney Hall ICE facility last Friday.

Rep. McIver is expected to turn herself in this afternoon, the New Jersey Globe reported.

The New Jersey Globe reported:

The Justice Department plans to bring charges against Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-Newark) following a scuffle with federal immigration agents last week at Newark’s Delaney Hall detention center, three sources speaking on the condition of anonymity confirmed to the New Jersey Globe.

Much is still unknown about the case against the freshman congresswoman, but interim U.S. Attorney Alina Habba could announce charges as early as today. McIver may turn herself in this afternoon, the New Jersey Globe learned; she’ll be represented by Paul Fishman, the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey during the Obama administration.

ICE bodycam footage showed Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver verbally abusing and physically assaulting federal agents at a detention facility in Newark.

Dem Rep. Shri Thanedar Faces Backlash, Embarrassment Over Trump Impeachment Push

A Democratic lawmaker’s push to impeach President Donald Trump has drawn criticism from both sides of the aisle and sparked questions about his own grasp of basic facts within his district.

Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI), a first-term member of Congress from Michigan, announced in late April that he would introduce articles of impeachment against President Trump.

The move came without support from Democratic leadership and has quickly become a source of controversy and ridicule, even among his own party.

Thanedar’s announcement followed an earlier statement by Rep. Al Green (D-TX), who had also vowed to introduce impeachment articles against President Trump by the end of April. Green, however, failed to follow through on his promise.

With Thanedar now taking the lead, the effort has failed to gain traction and has drawn quiet opposition from fellow House Democrats.

According to multiple reports, some Democratic lawmakers have privately dismissed Thanedar’s actions as unserious and potentially damaging to the party’s broader agenda.

Several Democrats are reportedly prepared to vote against the articles if they are brought to the floor, with some referring to the move as a “stunt.”

David Hogg, Victim of Wokeness

David Hogg is a 25-year-old political activist and, for now, vice chair of the Democratic National Committee. A survivor of the 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, Hogg first drew national attention for speaking out vigorously in favor of gun control. He has since become an all-purpose progressive campaigner.

He is controversial, even among Democratic circles, because he has clashed with the party’s establishment. He previously pledged to spend $20 million to primary members of his own party, though he insisted that he would only target Democrats who reside in safe districts. His thinking is that elected Democrats are too old and that the current iteration of the party fails to appeal to younger voters, particularly young males. Hogg is definitely onto something there: Donald Trump made huge inroads with Gen Z voters, in part because Democratic messaging to young men failed to resonate with them.

Hogg made a version of this argument on Bill Maher’s show last weekend, and the comedian was impressed enough to give Hogg a standing ovation and shake his hand. Hogg also won over centrist Democratic strategist James Carville, who had previously called him a “twerp.”

But Hogg has not won over everybody. On the contrary, the DNC is trying to oust him as vice chair. And the reason for that is, frankly, hilarious.

Kalyn Free, a 61-year-old woman with Native American ancestry and a rival candidate, filed a complaint that Hogg’s election as vice chair had violated certain DNC bylaws designed to promote gender-based equity. Essentially, she argued that the process was unfair because it was not sufficiently rigged in favor of her as a woman. For now, the DNC is buying it and has taken steps to void Hogg’s election. The party may schedule a redo, which would require Hogg to rerun for the vice chair position.

What’s funny about all this is that it illustrates the DNC’s precise problem with appealing to young male voters. Essentially, the DNC is clinging to its principles of identity politics, affirmative action, and gender-based preferencing—concepts that are toxic to most voters, including many Democratic voters—to undo the election of a younger,  more rebellious political actor in favor of an older woman.

GOP Congressman Humiliates a Grandstanding AOC as She Plays to the Cameras While Asking Questions About Medicaid – AOC Then Completely Snaps

Far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) lost it early this morning after a GOP congressman humiliated her by calling out her grandstanding tactics during a committee hearing.

While the House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing entered the early morning hours as part of its marathon mega bill markup, AOC attempted to disassemble the GOP’s plans to reform Medicaid by asking witnesses a series of leading questions. Of course, she wanted to play to the cameras at the same time.

When she did finally act like a professional, Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX) took notice and roasted her.

“Um, in terms of some of the exemptions, pregnancy is covered, correct?” AOC asked.

“May I interrupt? I’m glad you’re addressing us instead of addressing the camera,” Weber quipped.

AOC then repeated her question about pregnancy, and the witness answered that pregnancy was covered. AOC then tried to ask a gotcha question about abortion laws.

“Given the Dobbs decision and the fact that many women and the fact that many women in many states are forced to…” she began before Weber cut her off.

“Okay, what about miscarriage?” AOC asked.

“Reclaiming my time. I just want to make the point that we’d like for you to address the Republicans and let’s have a dialogue this way & not through a camera,” Weber said.

“But, but, I’m just asking about a miscarriage,” AOC whined.

“The gentlelady is out of order!” Weber shouted.

A short time later, AOC started grandstanding again after getting some backup from Rep. Yvette Clarke.

“There are 13.7 million Americans on the other side of that screen there. Hello, hello,” Ocasio-Cortez stated, waving to the camera. “I’m talking to you because I work for you. They deserve to see what is happening here because there are plenty of districts, including Republican ones, where 25 percent of your constituents are on Medicaid, 40 percent of your constituents are on Medicaid.”

“Will the gentlelady yield?” Weber asked.

Upon hearing this, AOC finally snapped completely.

“I will not yield because it was a terribly disrespectful comment, and I will not yield to disrespectful men!” she whined.

Hate-Filled Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman Goes on Disrespectful Race-Baiting Attack Against RFK Jr in Committee Hearing – RFK Hilariously Shuts Her Down When Time Expires and She Replies, “So Has Your Legitimacy!”

Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), during a Wednesday House Appropriations Committee hearing, used her time for questioning Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to stick it to whitey and the Trump Administration in a nasty race-baiting rant.

Coleman is one of the three Democratic congressmembers who stormed the Delaney Hall Detention Center in New Jersey last week.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, ICE bodycam footage that was released over the weekend shows Rep. LaMonica McIver verbally abusing and physically assaulting federal agents at the ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey. Rep. Bob Menendez and Newark Mayor Ras Baraka were also involved in the lawlessness.

On Wednesday, she got defiant once again with an outragous attack on the Trump administration for “attempting to legitimize racial discrimination” and accusing Kennedy of pushing “the lie that [Trump] cares about me and black people.” Nothing he could have said could have satisfied her anti-white rage.

The DEI Congresswoman could barely even read her prepared speech, struggling repeatedly to hurl her race-obsessed smears against RFK Jr., the nephew of John F. Kennedy,  a driving force for the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Throughout the hate-filled questioning, she refused to let Kennedy respond and constantly interrupted him with more indictments of racism.

Near the end of her five minutes, she was practically screaming at Kennedy, pressing him to answer the question she had refused to allow him to answer. When the clock passed five minutes, Kennedy caused some in the room to break out in laughter and gasps after he cut her off, saying, “My time has expired.”

“Well, then So has your legitimacy!” she stammered in response.

INSANITY: Democrat Rep. Summer Lee to Introduce “Reparations Now” Resolution Demanding TRILLIONS from U.S. Taxpayers for Slavery That Ended 160 Years Ago

Far-left Democrat Rep. Summer Lee (D-PA) announced she will introduce the “Reparations Now Resolution” on Thursday—demanding trillions of dollars be handed out to Black Americans in the name of so-called “racial justice.”

The radical push was unveiled during a congressional race grievance circus hosted by Democrat Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) on Tuesday, May 13, titled Why We Can’t Wait: Advancing Reparative Justice in Our Lifetime.

Booker was joined by the usual far-left suspects: Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA), and Summer Lee.

According to its press release:

The briefing will highlight the urgent need for federal legislative action to address historical and systemic racial injustices. Key federal legislation includes:

  • S.40 / H.R. 40 – Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans Act (Sen. Cory Booker, Rep. Ayanna Pressley)
  • Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation (TRHT) Commission Act (Sen. Cory Booker,  Rep. Jasmine Crockett)
  • S. 1051 – Historic Greenwood District – Black Wall Street National Monument Establishment Act (Sen. Cory Booker, Sen. James Lankford)
  • Reparations Now Resolution (Rep. Summer Lee)
  • G.I. (Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren of the Institutionalized Generation) Restoration Act (Sen. Raphael Warnock)
  • Restoring Artistic Protection (RAP) Act (Rep. Hank Johnson)
  • Tulsa-Greenwood Claims Accountability Act (Rep. Hank Johnson)
  • H.J.Res.67 – Original Slavery Remembrance Month Resolution (Rep. Al Green)

During the event, Lee boldly declared that Americans have a “moral and legal obligation” to pay reparations, according to Fox News.

She called for the total reconstruction of American society — not to serve all Americans, but to cater to a progressive agenda based on grievance politics.

She went on to suggest that “restoring Black folks” requires a vast and “substantive” redistribution of wealth.

The resolution itself cites slavery, Jim Crow laws, redlining, and so-called “systemic racism” as justification for this unprecedented financial demand. But what it fails to mention is that no living American has ever owned a slave, and this push for reparations would punish millions of Americans — including veterans, and working-class families — for sins they never committed.

EPA slush fund for climate grifters

Democratic politicians and their allies have been in a lather for months over President Trump and his administration, especially Elon Musk and his “DOGE” operation. The reason? They are exposing their bureaucratic slush funds to the public, including a big one at the Environmental Protection Agency.

The discovery in February of billions of dollars of payments to enrich favored climate groups and causes reveals a sordid taxpayer-funded scheme. The administration’s efforts to stop this gravy train threaten the climate house of cards built up for decades.

EPA administrator Lee Zeldin, a former Republican congressman from New York, revealed that $20 billion of the $27 billion climate slush fund known as the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund was paid by the Biden administration to eight organizations. The purpose was for them to distribute to numerous other organizations for climate projects such as electric vehicle loans, solar panels, and much else in search of a climate crisis.

“This scheme was the first of its kind in EPA history, and it was purposefully designed to obligate all of the money in a rush job with reduced oversight,” Zeldin said. In so doing, Zeldin described the scheme as “self-dealing and conflicts of interest, (and) unqualified recipients.”

Designated recipients of this massive taxpayer largess promptly sued in federal District Court. Judge Tanya Chutkan ruled in April that the EPA cannot freeze or claw back the funds under contract.

The administration immediately appealed the ruling by claiming the court has no jurisdiction and cannot overrule the executive branch’s authority to cancel a contract, which other courts have permitted involving other issues and agencies.

The following day, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals halted Chutkan’s order to disburse the funds to the climate groups to allow time for the case to be heard in full.

Government handouts to favored organizations, which distribute to other organizations, are like taxpayer cash flowing downstream as these ostensibly private entities act as bureaucracies to further a political agenda.

Great gig, if you can get it.

Dem Senator Chris Murphy Already Casting Doubt on Legitimacy of 2026 Midterms – Says Trump is ‘Destroying Democracy’

Democrats must be really worried about their chances in the 2026 midterm elections. How else could anyone explain the insane ranting of Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut on MSNBC this week?

Murphy was speaking to Nicolle Wallace and he was clearly casting doubt about the outcome of the midterms, suggesting that Trump is somehow destroying our democracy. It’s not even clear what he’s talking about, he just sounds unhinged.

He even says Trump is trying to ‘rig’ our democracy. Projection much, senator?

Transcript via Real Clear Politics:

WALLACE: And I guess at some point, if the Democrats take over the majorities in the House and the Senate, it won’t matter. But I wonder if you feel like we have enough time. You look at the grift, you look at the corruption, you look at the pay to play going on.

It’s staggering and it’s all out in the open. It’s almost as if to say, you know, when you’re president, you can do it.

MURPHY: Yeah, I mean, this is the conversation we’re having right now inside the Democratic Party. How urgent is the moment? You know what I believe, Nicole.

I believe that there’s no guarantee that we are going to have a free and fair election in 2026. I think he’s trying to rig our democracy, to destroy dissent, to cripple the political opposition so that even if his approval ratings are in the 30s in the fall of next year, there isn’t the ability for his opposition to muster a real campaign. So I think we’ve got to act with tremendous urgency and we have to make the corruption and the destruction of democracy the number one issue.

So we’ve got this crypto regulation bill pending before Congress. The only way we should pass that bill, the only way that we should move that bill forward is if it unwinds Trump’s crypto corruption.

Dem Leader Warns Any Arrests Of Colleagues For ICE Breach Would Cross His ‘Red Line’

On Tuesday, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) warned against repercussions for his fellow Democrat lawmakers who clashed with federal agents at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility at Delaney Hall in Newark, New Jersey, last week.

During an exchange with Fox News reporter Chad Pergram, Jeffries repeatedly said “they’ll find out” when pressed what might happen if the House Democrats involved in the incident were to be arrested by federal authorities or get sanctioned.

Jeffries ultimately asserted that it would be a “red line” as the questions persisted. He also took a swipe at Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin, who told CNN that arresting the Democrats in question was “definitely on the table,” pending an investigation.

“It’s a red line. It’s very clear,” Jeffries said. “First of all, I think that the so-called Homeland Security spokesperson is a joke. It’s a joke. They know better than to go down that road. And it’s been made loudly and abundantly clear to the Trump administration. We’re not going to be intimidated by their tactics.”

The Daily Wire reported that Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, who is running for New Jersey governor and is protesting the Delaney Hall facility, was arrested following the security breach last Friday. Alina Habba, the interim U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, said he “committed trespass and ignored multiple warnings from Homeland Security Investigations to remove himself from the ICE detention center.”

DHS said two House Democrats who joined Baraka that day — New Jersey Reps. Bonnie Watson-Coleman and Rob Menendez — “stormed the gate and broke into” the facility.

While the New Jersey Democrats insisted they were at Delaney Hall to conduct legitimate supervision, McLaughlin said in a post on X, “Members of Congress cannot break the law in the name of ‘oversight.’ All members & staff need to comply with facility rules, procedures, and instructions from ICE personnel on site. INCLUDING 24 hour notice.”

Far Left Arizona Gov Katie Hobbs Vetoes Bill Requiring Public Schools to Include Instruction on the Gulf of America

Democrat Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs vetoed a Republican bill on Tuesday that would require public high schools to adhere to President Trump’s “Restoring Names That Honor American Greatness” executive order by including geography and instruction on the Gulf of America.

HB 2700 would add geography education in the State Board of Education’s high school social studies academic standards and require academic standards for geography to include instruction on the Gulf of America.

The far-left Democrat Governor doesn’t want students to have a comprehensive education on geography and current events, though.

Hobbs provided no reason for her veto in a letter to Arizona House Speaker Steve Montenegro, but did take a personal jab at Republicans in the state legislature for what she perceives as a refusal to “work together.”

Hobbs sent the following letter to Montenegro on Tuesday:

Speaker Montenegro,

Today, I vetoed House Bill 2700. Arizonans want us to work together to lower costs, secure the border, create jobs, and protect publie education. Instead of joining with me to do that, this Legislature has chosen to attempt to dictate how teachers refer to geographic features. I encourage you to refocus your time and energy on solving real problems for Arizonans.

In total, Hobbs reportedly vetoed 48 bills on Monday and Tuesday, and she is now five vetoes short of setting a new record.

It can be recalled that Hobbs broke the record for the most bills vetoed in a single session of the state legislature during her first year in office in 2023. Leftwing outlets dubbed her the “Veto Queen,” celebrating her stand against Republicans who represent a majority of Arizona. This is her only accomplishment as governor.
