DSA Member Has No Answer When Asked What We Will Do With Rapists After Prisons Are Abolished

A DSA member who recently appeared on a news show was asked a very basic question about what society does with criminals like rapists when all of the prisons have been abolished. She had no answer and tried to veer into talking points.

The reason she had no answer is because there is no answer. People who commit crimes like rape and murder need to be locked away from society, plain and simple.

What a lot of people get wrong about these DSA members and their wacky ideas is that they’re just dumb people. Their policies were cooked up in a dorm on some liberal college campus and they’ve never even been challenged.

In an interview with NBC 4 Los Angeles, anchor Conan Nolan posed pointed questions to Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) National Political Committee Member Frances Gill on the topics of law enforcement, immigration and the movement’s other far-left proposals.

After a brief back-and-forth over what defunding the police means and how that would be applied in practice, Gill resorted to deflecting by refusing to engage in ‘hypotheticals.’

“What we really want to see is a horizon where folks are not reliant on armed enforcement to meet our public safety needs,” Gill conceded.

“Right, but it says ‘defund police’ on your website — that’s your goal — and also to get rid of prisons and jails, correct?” he pressed, to which Gill answered affirmatively.

“So if my daughter is assaulted and raped, is there any agency that would seek to find her assailant and bring him to justice?” asked Nolan.

“Of course, yeah of course—” said Gill before the host jumped back in with a follow-up question.

“What would it be if not police and where would he be if not a jail?” asked Nolan.

Ocasio-Cortez: Democratic Socialists Are Fundamentally Pro-Democracy

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said that the Democratic Socialists of America were “fundamentally pro-democracy.”

After playing a montage of Republicans discussing communism, host Jon Karl asked, “You kind of get a sense of the theme, and obviously the president has said the same thing. What in your mind is the difference between socialism and communism?”

Ocasio-Cortez said, “I think to me, the fundamental differences, I mean, there’s many. One prevailing one is democracy. And I believe that Democratic Socialists are fundamentally pro-democracy. And we believe in the ballot box. We believe in respecting the outcomes of elections and governing democratically and ensuring that the ideas and policies that are implemented are won through popular vote and popular opinion. And so that I think that’s why so much of what we focus on at the New York City chapter.”

Karl said, “The New York City chapter, not the national one. And what’s the difference?”

Ocasio-Cortez said, “So every DSA chapter is formed locally. And so the New York City DSA chapter, those are folks that you know. It’s my, it’s kind of like your local union chapter.”

‘Privileged Idiot’ DSA Co-Chair Has Absolute Porridge For Brains

The Democrat party has been freaking out about the Democratic Socialists of late – despite striking similarities between their policies – because while Democrats are happy to sweet talk voters into socialist ideas that signal maximum virtue, they don’t actually want to enact policies that would make blue-city budgets even more dire than they are. 

In short, the party is panicking because the voters they radicalized are electing radicals… 

So what better way to let progressives see what they’re voting for? Trot out a co-chair of the DSA with maybe two brain cells to rub together, ask her simple questions, and watch her implode. 

To wit: co-chair Megan Romer was given a softball interview by New Yorker editor David Remnick, in which he asked Romer “What does ‘taxing the hell out of them’ mean?” in regards to a core DSA position of ‘taxing the rich.’

Romer stumbled hard… 

Romer: Uh, yeah, you know, again, I don’t have like a solid…

Remnick: But shouldn’t you? If you’re the co-chair of the DSA, shouldn’t you be more specific than ‘taxing the hell’ out of something? What exactly do you mean?

Romer: Um, that’s a good question. “So again, it’s democracy, right? And we have to look at what we have to spend and what we need. We don’t want to depend on the existence of millionaires because that means people are still getting exploited.”

Ilhan Omar Agrees With Bernie Sanders’ Lie that No “Serious” Democrat Running for Office Really “Believes in Defunding the Police”

As Democratic Socialists run on defunding the police and abolishing prisons, socialist backers who are already in office, Senator Bernie Sanders and Rep. Ilhan Omar, are now trying to distance themselves and deny that their radical platforms are “serious.” 

Sanders claimed during a recent interview that “no serious person” running for office actually believes in defunding the police. Omar went on to agree with Sanders in a CNN interview last night.

However, Socialist Wisconsin State Rep. Francesca Hong, who is endorsed by Ilhan Omar and is the clear frontrunner in her state’s gubernatorial primary, has openly called to “defund the police,” calling law enforcement “state-sanctioned violence.” She is the Democrats’ most serious contender for governor of Wisconsin.

Climate Doomer Adam McKay Dismisses Questions About His 2nd Home in Ireland While Warning ‘Billions Will Die’ Because of Oil

Filmmaker Adam McKay, a DSA member and hardcore climate doomsayer, has finally addressed — indirectly, at least — the issue of his hypocritical campaign to kill the oil industry while jetting between homes in Los Angeles and Ireland.

Four years ago, Breitbart became the first news outlet to connect the dots between McKay’s frenzied climate warnings (e.g. the satirical Netflix film Don’t Look Up) and a flattering profile in Architectural Digest about his “quiet and relaxing” getaway home on 12 acres in Ireland. In the time since, the Anchorman director has ignored questions about why he won’t sacrifice the luxurious estate — and the 10,000-mile round trip that requires a considerable amount of jet fuel — while screaming at the world to “just stop oil.”

This week, however, McKay appears to have vented some of his frustrations about these “queries,” while massively downplaying the scale of his own carbon sins, in an essay for Current Affairs. The editorial, titled “The Gargantuan Lie That is Collapsing The World’s Climate,” presents a grim thesis: “Thinking we have time left to address climate change… is driving us toward full social collapse.”

And his rage is not directed at fascist chuds who stubbornly believe there isn’t enough evidence to demonstrate that human industry is the one and only determinative variable in global climate variations. The filmmaker is shaming liberal social climbers — “the ruling class, mainstream news media, and corporations” — for believing that the government must only take action that’s palatable to voters, setting far-off targets like “Net Zero by 2050.”

McKay’s warning does highlight an inconsistency in these left-wing, respectability-politics yuppies: if they really think global warming is an existential threat, they’d better act like it:

[I]f our institutions, news and elected officials continue to feed and water the oil company-conceived mega-falsehood that climate breakdown is something just “our great-grandkids need to worry about,” human civilization as we know it will collapse and billions could die. And we’re not talking about the far distant future. We are talking about collapse within years, not centuries. For real. [emphasis added]

On this point, credit the man for consistency. It’s been 20 years since Al Gore’s 10-year countdown to an irreversible “tipping point” for the fate of the planet. It’s been seven since Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s 12-year countdown to the world’s end. The climate “crisis” looks more and more like a grift when the deadline for urgent action keeps getting pushed back.

Oh wait, never mind; McKay did the same thing.

“We’re Here To Destroy The White Race”: Democratic Socialist Of America Hero Declares War On West

Marxist streamer Hasan Piker has emerged as an increasingly visible, if unofficial, spokesman for the Democratic Socialists of America’s rapidly expanding political action network. He campaigned for Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong while cultivating close ties with socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

From an electoral-risk perspective, Piker is becoming a liability for Democrats. His far-left, anti-American rhetoric provides Republicans with what we called “a gift” last week. Even Hillary Clinton warned on Friday that the GOP’s “anti-communist messaging is very effective.”

The Democratic Party’s failure to formally denounce Piker and distance itself from his agenda…

Piker calls on his followers to “kill capitalists”:

Piker: “We want more immigrants to come into your countries and then they’re gonna f**k your sisters and then your daughters. We’re here to destroy the White Race, Bitch.”

NANNY STATE: Zohran Mamdani Launching City Government Babysitting Service so Parents Can Have a Date Night

Conservatives used to joke that the left was trying to turn the government into a nanny state. Now, Zohran Mamdani is taking it literally.

The New York City mayor is launching a service where people in the city can drop their kids off at the park to be looked after by government officials while the parents can have a date night. What could possibly go wrong?

Would you be comfortable dropping your kids off at a New York City park and then going out to dinner?

ABC News in New York reports:

Date night, anyone? NYC launching free babysitting program for parents

New York City is giving parents a chance for a night off through a new pilot program that will provide free child care for hundreds of families next month.

Mayor Mamdani announced the launch of “Parents’ Night Out,” a city-sponsored program that will offer free babysitting for up to 500 children on Aug. 16 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. Monday and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

“Every parent knows that a few hours to yourself can feel like a luxury,” said Mayor Mamdani in prepared remarks. “It shouldn’t be. That’s why we’re launching New York City’s first-ever Parents’ Night Out, so that parents can get a little time on their own to catch a movie, run errands or go on a date without worrying about who will take care of the kids – or how much it will cost.”

The program is open to families with children ages 6 to 13 and will provide free child care at designated city recreation centers.

City officials say the initiative is designed to give parents and caregivers a break while children participate in supervised activities.

DSA Co-Chair Delivers Kamala Harris Style Word Salad When Asked to Clarify Their Stance on Open Borders

A co-chair of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) was recently asked to clarify their position on open borders and offered up a Kamala Harris word salad in response.

The DSA has already made it pretty clear that they want for there to be no border enforcement at all, so this is a difficult issue for her to defend.

Border enforcement is also another one of those 80-20 issues with massive support from the public. People want America’s borders to be enforced and made that obvious during the 2024 election.

The slightest ask for explanation or scrutiny placed on these nonsensical positions results in this rhetorical gobbledygook:

“They’re all part of this long term goal where we are putting huge amounts of resources into alleviating poverty, into stopping destabilization of countries internationally that are causing a huge migrant flow.”

“Most people in the US are here because of a prior period of unrestricted immigration or of much looser immigration.”

“We’re not saying throw the gates open. We’re saying, let’s look at where the system is really flawed, really problematic.”

Interviewer: “I think that’s called immigration reform.”

“It is, but we think that you have to look at all of these things from first principles. Right? We started here from first principles. So what do we want out of an immigration system. Let’s start there.”

Billionaire heiress who backed Mamdani now shoveling cash to House Dems in hopes of party takeover

Billionaire heiress Elizabeth Simons is pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into the Democratic Party’s campaign to retake the House — even as she bankrolls the socialist causes and candidates that have Democrats’ establishment leaders increasingly on edge.

Simons, who previously cut a $250,000 check to a super PAC backing Mayor Zohran Mamdani, has donated $354,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee — the party’s chief House campaign arm — and thousands more to individual House candidates this election cycle.

The donations, ironically, put Simons behind the same Democratic leadership forces trying to prevent the party’s increasingly powerful progressive wing from taking over.

“I can see why a lot of the very woke left is lining up with Hakeem [Speaker Jeffries] because the goal is winning the House,” said one longtime Democratic fundraiser.

The DCCC is headed by Rep. Suzan DelBene (D-Wash.), a member of the party’s centrist New Democrat Coalition, which is the under guidance of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who is positioned to take power if Dems snatch back the House. Republicans rule by a narrow 218-212 majority.

Simons is hardly a conventional Democratic establishment donor — she has has poured millions into progressive education initiatives while backing candidates like Mamdani.

University Invites Terror-Loving Hasan Piker to Speak and Then The Normies Weigh In

Don’t bother to wonder, “What were they thinking?” There wasn’t much thinking going on at all at the Office of Public Lectures at my alma mater, the University of Washington in Seattle, when they asked Hasan Piker to speak on campus. 

Now, I know some folks don’t know who Piker is, and that apparently includes the people who asked him to speak on campus because the ghastly alternative is that they did know and hired him anyway. 

Recently, you’ve seen Piker on the arm of the possible future senator from Michigan Abdul El-Sayed, who’s the son-in-law of a Muslim Brotherhood true believer. He also campaigned with anti-Semite Zohran Mamdani in the New York City mayor’s race. He’s also making the rounds with Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong, the bipolar, DSA commie. Huh, I wonder if she’s Muslim too. Someone should ask her other personality to double check.

Anyway, the university’s lecture series includes the usual womyn political journalists, climate catastrophists, and even a lecturer on midterms—no, silly, not university midterms, political ones. 

The announcement of Piker’s January 2027 lecture on the university’s website enthused, “Hasan Piker is not your typical political commentator. Armed with sharp analysis and an irreverent wit, he has built a massive daily audience on Twitch — and become an unlikely but authoritative voice for a generation hungry for honest political engagement.”
