The Totalitarian Threat of Critical Race Theory Rears Its Ugly Head

Last week, a black Amazon delivery driver sucker-punched an elderly white woman after the victim rejected the driver’s snide remark about the “white privilege” of getting annoyed while waiting for a package. A few months back, a Yale lecturer spoke about her “fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way.” Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot complained that too many of the journalists reporting on her are white.

A noxious leftist ideology links all of these racist incidents, and it is already wreaking tremendous havoc on American society. This ideology justifies blatant racism in the name of promoting “equity.” It is spreading throughout American classrooms, corporate boardrooms, and legacy media outlets. One of its architects has even called for a totalitarian bureaucracy to enforce his vision of “equity.” This new racism masquerades as “anti-racist,” but it judges people according to the color of their skin, not the content of their character.

Marxist thinkers invented critical race theory (CRT) in order to upend society by claiming that hidden racism pervades American institutions. CRT teaches people to seize on any racial disparity as ipso facto proof of racial discrimination, despite the clear prohibitions on racial discrimination in federal law. Advocates claim that the American status quo is racist — if not “white supremacist” — so extreme measures to reverse historic injustices are the only “anti-racist” option.

Since American society must be secretly racist, CRT advocates attribute various aspects of society to the nefarious impact of “whiteness.” The Smithsonian briefly published a “teaching tool” infographic on “whiteness.” That infographic claimed that the nuclear family, science, capitalism, the Judeo-Christian tradition, individualism, “objective, rational linear thinking,” and even values such as “be polite” are aspects of oppressive whiteness. The Smithsonian rightly removed the graphic after facing criticism, but this incident illustrates just how mainstream CRT has become.

Monetising white guilt: Virtue-signalling women pay $5,000 for dinner to be shamed for their whiteness

There is something deeply nauseating about the sight of a group of middle-class white women who have paid $5,000 to take part in a dinner party where they get a chance to confront their privilege.

These now-widely reported events are organised by Race2Dinner, a company created by Regina Jackson, who is black, and Saira Rao, who is Indian American. Jackson and Rao are part of the growing woke training industry, which is busy successfully monetising white guilt. As Molly Fischer of New York magazine noted, “[The] two entrepreneurs have built a business dredging up white women’s shame.”

Earning serious cash on the back of guilt tripping a group of white women is reminiscent of the medieval Catholic Church selling indulgences to sinners looking to be saved. From the standpoint of woke dogma, white privilege is the original sin that underlies the morally inferior condition of whiteness.

However, unlike the old Church, which relieved you of your guilt, woke trainers are committed to ensuring that you remain constantly aware of your white privilege.

The dinner parties are underpinned by the notion that whiteness is a pathology that requires constant, quasi-therapeutic intervention and cure.

Psychiatrist Says She Does Not Regret Telling Yale Students About Fantasy Of Killing White People, Claims Her Words Were Taken ‘Out Of Context’

A New York City psychiatrist, who told Yale University students that she fantasizes about shooting white people, now claims that her comments were taken “out of context.”

In April, Dr. Aruna Khilanani delivered a virtual speech for a Yale panel discussion wherein she said that she has “fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way, burying their body and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step. Like I did the world a f***ing favor.”

In an email to the New York Times, Khilanani said that she was attempting to use “provocation as a tool for real engagement” and that her words had been taken out of context in an attempt to “control the narrative” around race.

White Spanish Teacher Cancels Herself for Being White

Speaking via Zoom during a virtual event for women and diversity studies, Jessica Bridges, a white Spanish teacher, said she would stop teaching the language because it was not suitable for a white woman to teach Spanish.

Though the Spanish speaker hails from Europe, Bridges came to her revelation after encountering a course she found on Instagram for how to be a better “white ally” and “anti-racist co-conspirator.”

“White isn’t right,” she said during the Southern Connecticut State University’s Virtual Women’s and Gender Studies Conference conducted over Zoom.

According to The Post Millennial, Bridges chastised herself for teaching children to “learn Spanish from a white woman. I wish I could go back and tell my students not to learn power or correctness from this white woman,” she said. “I would tell them to stand in their own power. White isn’t right.”

In a Twitter post, a video of Bridges can be seen, touting her interpretation of a master class that purportedly taught Karl Marx’s philosophies. Part of Bridges revelation she derived from the course was she “was a colonizer.”

‘The Psychopathic Problem of the White Mind’

A few weeks ago, someone sent me a recording of a talk called “The Psychopathic Problem of the White Mind.” It was delivered at the Yale School of Medicine’s Child Study Center by a New York-based psychiatrist as part of Grand Rounds, an ongoing program in which clinicians and others in the field lecture students and faculty.

When I listened to the talk I considered the fact that it might be some sort of elaborate prank. But looking at the doctor’s social media, it seems completely genuine.

Here are some of the quotes from the lecture:

  • This is the cost of talking to white people at all. The cost of your own life, as they suck you dry. There are no good apples out there. White people make my blood boil. (Time stamp: 6:45)
  • I had fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way, burying their body, and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step. Like I did the world a fucking favor.  (Time stamp: 7:17)
  • White people are out of their minds and they have been for a long time.  (Time stamp: 17:06)
  • We are now in a psychological predicament, because white people feel that we are bullying them when we bring up race. They feel that we should be thanking them for all that they have done for us. They are confused, and so are we. We keep forgetting that directly talking about race is a waste of our breath. We are asking a demented, violent predator who thinks that they are a saint or a superhero, to accept responsibility. It ain’t gonna happen. They have five holes in their brain. It’s like banging your head against a brick wall. It’s just like sort of not a good idea. (Time stamp 17:13)
  • We need to remember that directly talking about race to white people is useless, because they are at the wrong level of conversation. Addressing racism assumes that white people can see and process what we are talking about. They can’t. That’s why they sound demented. They don’t even know they have a mask on. White people think it’s their actual face. We need to get to know the mask. (Time stamp 17:54)

Texas restaurant gets win in fighting “discriminatory” criteria for federal Covid relief

A conservative non-profit legal team has secured a temporary restraining order on behalf of a Texas restaurant owner against what critics say is discriminatory and racist criteria for awarding Covid-19 relief funds under the Biden administration.

The restaurant owner filing suit says he was prohibited from consideration for an award from the $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund during the program’s first twenty-one days because he is a white male.

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 directs the Small Business Administration to give preferential treatment to businesses owned by women, veterans, and people who are “socially and economically disadvantaged”.

The federal law uses a controversial “critical race theory” definition of “socially and economically disadvantaged” that can only include minority groups.
