New video footage blows up the ‘self-defense’ lie in Austin Metcalf’s brutal murder…

It was supposed to be an ordinary high school track meet in Frisco, Texas. Kids stretching, coaches meandering around, and parents huddled under tents waiting for the rain to pass. But then, in the blink of an eye, it turned into a bloody murder scene. All because a 17-year-old black kid named Karmelo Anthony brought a deadly weapon to a sports event and used it to stab 17-year-old Austin Metcalf to death.

You’d think that would be a clear-cut tragedy, right? Well, not if you’re a left-winger in America. The second this story broke, the usual race hustlers and propaganda media swooped in to twist Karmelo Anthony into their latest civil rights martyr. They tried to turn this vicious teen thug into the next Rosa Parks. Their version was a noble black teen, unfairly harassed by a racist white kid for daring to sit under the “wrong” tent, who was forced to defend himself from bigoted aggression.

It was a typical, ready-made narrative: brave black Karmelo refused to give up his seat, and evil white Austin got what he deserved. They spread it far and wide. Donations poured in by the hundreds of thousands. The mainstream press all but sainted the little thug who brought a deadly weapon to a school track meet. Who does that? Not an innocent victim. Not some misunderstood hero. A menace to society does that.

But now, right on cue, that carefully crafted defense story is falling apart at the seams, all thanks to chilling new surveillance footage that the Daily Mail got their hands on. The exclusive, unreleased video shows exactly what happened in the moments before Austin Metcalf was brutally murdered, and now we know there was no threat to his personal safety. No chaos. No racist mob forcing Karmelo to “stand his ground.” The video shows it was a calm scene until Anthony committed murder.

Climate misinformation – the term used by the report for both deliberate and inadvertent falsehoods – is of increasing concern. Last Thursday, the UN special rapporteur on human rights and climate change, Elisa Morgera, called for misinformation and greenwashing by the fossil fuel industry to be criminalised. On Saturday, Brazil, host of the upcoming Cop30 climate summit, will rally nations behind a separate UN initiative to crack down on climate misinformation.

Anti-ICE Activists in Colorado Help Criminal Alien and Child Rapist Escape Arrest

Anti-ICE activists in Denver, Colorado, helped a child rapist illegally residing in the US escape arrest on Friday morning.

Colorado Rapid Response tipped off the criminal alien and child rapist identified as Jose Reyes Leon-Deras and boasted about helping him evade arrest.

“ICE has left the neighborhood. No one was detained,” Colorado Rapid Response said after they stalked ICE agents surveilling Jose Reyes Leon-Deras near Longs Peak Venue and Martin St. Longmont.

“This morning ICE & @FBIDenver were attempting to arrest Jose Reyes Leon-Deras, a criminal alien from El Salvador who is convicted of and wanted for child rape in Italy. During our surveillance of Leon, members of Colorado Rapid Response arrived on scene and alerted him to law enforcements presence which allowed him to escape arrest,” Denver ICE said on Friday.

ICE asked tipsters for help capturing Jose Reyes Leon-Deras.

“Groups like this interfere with ICE’s ability to keep communities safe. If you know his whereabouts, do not approach, if seen, instead report all info to ICE at 1-866-347-2423,” ICE Denver said.

Minnesota assassin blames Tim Walz for his attack on state lawmakers: report

Vance Boelter, 57, the suspect in the assassination and attempted assassination of Minnesota state lawmakers, said that he blamed Governor Tim Walz for the shooting rampage, according to a report from Alpha News.

The outlet, citing multiple sources familiar with the investigation into Boelter and the shootings, said in a “confession letter” intended for FBI Director Kash Patel, Boelter confirmed that he was the “shooter at large in Minnesota involved in the 2 shootings.”

Charging documents from police indicated that the handwritten note was from “Dr Vance Luther Boelter,” and that the letter was found in the Buick that he had purchased in the hours after shooting Minnesota Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, who were hospitalized, the outlet reported. Boelter fatally shot Minnesota House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, after shooting Hoffman and his wife.

Boelter has been charged with murder as well as stalking by the Department of Justice in the case. He is also facing state charges of murder. An affidavit stated that evidence in the case “indicates that Boelter extensively planned his stalking, murders, and attempted murders.”

There were around 45 names of lawmakers and others inside a notebook, including the names of Hoffman as well as Hortman. However, Walz was not named in a typed copy of a “hit-list” that Alpha News received.

‘Minnesota assassin’s’ wife has ‘disappeared’ after being caught with guns and cash

Vance Boelter’s spooked wife has remained in hiding – as the accused assassin’s defiant family were tight-lipped concerning her whereabouts, telling a DailyMail.com reporter to ‘piss off.’

Shaken mom-of-five Jenny, 51, rang pals only to say she was in a ‘safe’ location but wouldn’t reveal where she was.

She fled the family’s bucolic farmhouse home in Green Isle, Minnesota, last Saturday morning after Boelter hinted that he had done something monstrous in a 6.18am text.

‘Dad went to war last night,’ wrote her 57-year-old husband.

‘There’s gonna be some people coming to the house armed and trigger happy and I  don’t want you guys around.’

As news broke that Boelter had allegedly gunned down two lawmakers and their spouses in Minneapolis, Jenny was pulled over driving through Onamia, 90 miles north.

She had their youngest children in the car along with their passports, $10,000 in cash and two handguns, according to federal court filings.

Jenny, president of the couple’s private security firm, consented to a voluntary search of her electronic devices but wasn’t arrested in the 10am traffic stop.

There’s nothing in her husband’s charging documents to suggest she had advance knowledge of his alleged plot to slaughter dozens of Democrat lawmakers and pro-abortion activists.

Friends told DailyMail.com that Jenny was in such a hurry she left the family’s three dogs behind.

‘Jenny called and asked if we could feed the dogs and that’s what we’ve been doing,’ said neighbor Kevin Effertz, 64.

‘She said she was in a safe place and that’s all she would say. She hasn’t said when she’s coming back.’

Jenny has not commented publicly since Boelter was captured Sunday evening and charged with multiple counts of murder and stalking.

Her brother Jason Doskocil, 54, had a blunt message for DailyMail.com when we asked about her whereabouts.

‘I’m sorry, we are not going to talk to nobody – so piss off,’ he replied.

The Boelters’ four-bed, $520,000 farmhouse, nestling between rolling meadows and dense woodland, was deserted Tuesday.

How crazy is the United States immigration enforcement system? An El Salvadoran man alleged to be a member of the Surenos gang living in Los Angeles who was convicted of murder and other violent crimes is being protected from deportation by the Trump administration because of a December 2024 Biden Department of Justice ruling protecting the killer from being sent back to El Salvador over fears of torture, and a 2025 nationwide injunction by a federal judge delaying deputations to third party countries.

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin filed a stunning report after doing a ride-along with Homeland Security agents when they went to arrest Alexander Alfredo Palacios Guevara on a deportation order.

Guevara did not resist arrest. He shocked unaware agents and Melugin when he told them as he was being led into an ICE detention center, “I have CAT, I have CAT,” shorthand for DCAT, Deferral of Removal under the Convention Against Torture protection from deportation.

Guevara explained, “I just got CAT on December the 18th of last year by the BIA. You can call my lawyer.”

Asked by Melugin if he was a convicted murderer, Guevara responded, “I am free.”

ICE confirmed Guevara’s protected status and released him later that day, only to go pick him up the following day. He remains in custody as a threat to public safety while the Trump administration works on deporting him.

Why Is Texas Supporting Psychedelics Research While Criminalizing Cannabis?

Texas just announced it will invest $50 million into studying ibogaine, a powerful psychedelic drug that remains illegal at the federal level. The goal? To develop it into a potential Food and Drug Administration-approved treatment for conditions like opioid use disorder, PTSD and depression; especially among veterans.

On the surface, this might sound like a bold and progressive move. But here’s the irony: at the very same time, Texas continues to criminalize cannabis and might soon even outlaw hemp-derived THC products.

Let’s break this down. Cannabis, a plant with centuries of use, decades of medical data and broad public support remains illegal for adult use in Texas. Despite overwhelming national support for legalization—a staggering 88 percent of Americans now back medical or recreational cannabis use)—the state has chosen to double down on prohibition, with lawmakers sending Gov. Greg Abbott (R) a bill that would outlaw consumable hemp products with any traces of THC. He has until Sunday to decide whether to allow that ban to take effect.

Even worse, prohibition isn’t stopping anything. The black market is thriving in Texas. Cartels and illicit operators flood the state with unregulated, untested cannabis. No taxes are collected, no consumer protections exist and legal hemp retailers are now being threatened. It is a misguided public safety argument deluded by a lack of facts and science, political conservatism, contradictory business objectives and outdated stigmas.

Meanwhile, ibogaine, a hallucinogenic alkaloid that can induce intense psychedelic experiences, is now the subject of a $50 million state-funded research push. The same lawmakers who claim cannabis is too dangerous and not well studied are throwing their support behind a compound with far less research and much more uncertainty with the intent of studying it.

This isn’t a critique of psychedelic medicine. Ibogaine may very well hold incredible therapeutic value. But if Texas is willing to support cutting-edge, controversial treatments for serious mental health and addiction issues, why not start with widely available data and access to cannabis? Cannabis has already been shown to help with chronic pain, anxiety, sleep, seizures and opioid dependency.

Mystery Break-In at Home of Slain Minnesota State Rep Melissa Hortman

Police are on scene and investigating a break-in and attempted burglary at the home of slain Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman.

Vance Boelter, 57, shot and killed Minnesota State Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband early Saturday morning.

Boelter also shot and wounded Democrat State Senator John Hoffman and his wife.

Hortman’s home had been boarded up with plywood after investigators moved out all of the evidence of the homicide.

Late Tuesday evening and overnight into Wednesday, an individual pried off the plywood on a back window of the Hortman home.

Investigators are unclear whether the individual stole anything. The Hortman family arrived at the home on Wednesday to see if the individual took anything of value.

NBC News reported:

Police are investigating a reported overnight break-in at the boarded-up home where Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband were fatally shot over the weekend, authorities said Wednesday.

Officers were alerted at 8 a.m. about the break-in at the residence where Hortman and her husband were killed on Saturday in what officials have described as a “politically motivated” shooting, according to a statement by the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

Investigators had previously processed the home as a crime scene before it was boarded up on Sunday morning, with a police trailer camera left in front, police said in a Wednesday statement.

Hortman’s family had “removed items of value from the home on Tuesday,” police said.

The Oversight Project has uncovered that Vance Luther Boelter — a former appointee of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and now suspected political assassin — may have traveled extensively to several high-risk countries.

“Tracking Connections to MN Assassin We geofenced Boelter’s family farm and found a unique device. We followed that device for the last 3 years – located in places like Africa, Nepal, and Washington, DC. We are releasing our data to the public in the interest of transparency,” Oversight Project wrote in an X post. 

Boelter has been linked to three shadowy organizations (more here): Minnesota Africans United, Revoformation Ministries, and You Gave Them Something to Eat. Each of these entities raises red flags and invites the question: were these legitimate operations, or merely front groups masking more nefarious activity?

Oversight Project continued, “First, we located the device AD-ID had traveled in the vicinity of Boelter’s farm. This is the same area where there was a police helicopter tracing his family residence near Green Isle, MN before his arrest. We also followed all travel in and around Minneapolis region.”

Colorado Governor Grants Mass Psilocybin Pardon Following Voters’ Approval Of Psychedelics Legalization At The Ballot

The governor of Colorado has announced a first-ever round of mass pardons for people with psilocybin-related convictions.

Just about two weeks after Gov. Jared Polis (D) signed a bill into law empowering him and future governors to issue clemency for people who’ve committed psychedelics offenses, he announced during a speech at the Psychedelic Science 2025 conference on Wednesday that he’s exercising that authority.

The pardons he’s granting through executive order will provide relief to anyone with a state-level conviction for psilocybin and psilocyn possession.

Shortly after signing the legislation that now allows him to grant the pardons, Polis said the reform represents another step “towards a fairer future.” He’s advocated for the policy change since the state legalized certain entheogenic substances in 2022.

“Governor Polis is showing exactly the kind of courage and compassion that we hope to see from all governors across the country by using his executive authority to right the wrongs of prohibition and calling on Colorado municipalities to do the same,” Jason Ortiz, director of strategic initiatives for the Last Prisoner Project (LPP) told Marijuana Moment.

“I look forward to working with his office to support and empower local municipalities to carry the torch of freedom forward until there is no one burdened by a criminal history for actions that are now generating tax revenue across the state of Colorado,” he said.

The psychedelics clemency move comes several years after Polis issued mass pardons for people with prior marijuana convictions.

The recently enacted psychedelics legislation from Sen. Matt Ball (D) and Rep. Lisa Feret (D) authorizes governors to grant clemency to people with convictions for low-level possession of substances such as psilocybin, ibogaine and DMT that have since been legalized.

It will also require the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Department of Revenue (DOR) and Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) to “collect information and data related to the use of natural medicine and natural medicine products.”

That must include data on law enforcement activities, adverse health events, consumer protection claims and behavioral impacts related to psychedelics.
