Cops finally reopen ‘suicide’ case of 27-year-old Philadelphia teacher found by fiancé in her apartment with 20 stab wounds – including ten to the BACK of her head

Investigators are reviewing evidence from the crime scene of a 27-year-old teacher from Philadelphia they say may have been staged to appear as a suicide nearly a decade ago.

Ellen Greenberg was found in her kitchen apartment with 20 stab wounds on January 26, 2011, by her fiancé Sam Goldberg.

Her death was initially ruled as a homicide before Medical Examiner Marlon Osbourne changed it to suicide.

Greenberg had 10 stab wounds to the neck and back of the head, with an additional 10 to her stomach, abdomen, and chest. A knife was still plunged into her heart.

The case has since been handed to the Chester District Attorney’s Office for re-review as evidence suggests the crime scene was staged based on the position her body was found and the angle of dry blood across her face.

‘In all my years of experience, and all of the homicides that I’ve done, and suicides, I’ve never seen anything like this,’ forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht told Fox News Digital as he claimed suicide is ‘highly unlikely.’

Top Staffer for Major Anti-Abortion Group Arrested for Soliciting a Minor

A man who worked as a political director for Texas Right to Life, the premier anti-abortion group in the state, has been arrested for the online solicitation of a minor. 

Lucas “Luke” Bowen, 33, was charged with the second-degree felony on August 3. A minor, under that statute, refers to anyone who’s younger than 17 or who the arrested person believes to be younger than 17.

Bowen allegedly “knowingly” solicited a minor online “with the intent” of engaging “in sexual contact or sexual intercourse or deviate sexual intercourse,” according to a complaint filed by Montgomery County prosecutors obtained by The Courier of Montgomery County.

The news of Bowen’s charge was previously reported by Jessica Valenti, an independent feminist journalist.

Texas Right to Life is one of the most powerful anti-abortion groups in a state known for setting the anti-abortion agenda for the rest of the nation. As part of his work for the organization, Bowen had appeared on stage representing Texas Right to Life at a 2020 Texas Youth Summit panel, spoke to Politico in 2018, and served as its campaign treasurer, according to a Texas campaign finance report filed last month.

Now, it appears that Bowen’s name has been removed from some pages on Texas Right to Life’s website and other pages mentioning him have been removed entirely (Valenti also reported on this). In one press release from February 2020, a quote attributed to Bowen as of September last year now appears without his name but still has the quote, a cached version of the page obtained from the Internet Archive showed. The quote originally read: 

Texas Right to Life has never endorsed Kay Granger, including for this cycle,” Luke Bowen, Political Director of Texas Right to Life, said. “Republican Chris Putnam is the only Pro-Life candidate in the race. We proudly endorsed Putnam after our interview in December, and are excited for the people of Congressional District 12 to finally have Pro-Life representation in Washington.

Another press release, claiming a Texas Right to Life employee named Kim Schwartz “saved” a woman from getting an abortion, mentioned that Bowen stayed behind with Schwartz to ensure she “wasn’t left alone in the office.” That release is now erased from the website.

UN diplomat dodges NYC rape rap thanks to diplomatic immunity

A United Nations diplomat was accused of raping one of his neighbors in Upper Manhattan over the weekend — but NYPD cops released him because he has diplomatic immunity, authorities said Monday.

Charles Dickens Imene Oliha, 46 — a career diplomat for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in South Sudan — was arrested in Sunday’s alleged sex assault on a woman inside her apartment around noon, according to a police report obtained by The Post.

Oliha was taken into custody on suspicion of rape and brought in for questioning, cops said.

But once he informed detectives from the NYPD’s Special Victims Unit that he was a diplomat, investigators confirmed he had immunity and swiftly released him without formally charging him, police said.

Georgia-based ‘anti-colonial’ political group accused of kidnapping, arming, and attempting to recruit the homeless

The Black Hammer Party, an anti-capitalist and anti-colonial political group, is currently being investigated for several criminal offenses, including kidnapping and human trafficking, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Tuesday.

Black Hammer leader Augustus Claudius Romain Jr. and a top lieutenant, Xavier “Keno” Rushin, were arrested for alleged participation in a kidnapping and sexual assault case that occurred in July. The crime took place in a home which the group had rented in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Federal and local authorities are also investigating the group for additional drug and weapon offenses. Fayetteville Police Street Gang Investigator Diana Snider testified that she began investigating the Black Hammer Party when she discovered that the group had relocated its headquarters to her town.

Snider was called to testify regarding a kidnapping case in which Romain, 36, and Rushin, 21, were allegedly involved. The victim was a homeless man who claimed that on July 19, the suspects kidnapped him, locked him in a garage, and held him at gunpoint.

Mexico’s Former Attorney General Arrested Following Student Massacre Investigation

Mexican authorities arrested the country’s former top prosecutor in connection with the investigation and coverup of a massacre of 43 education students. The murders allegedly took place at the hands of cartel gunmen and corrupt cops.

On Friday afternoon, Mexican federal authorities with the help of Mexico’s Navy, arrested Jesus Murillo Karam, the former Attorney General for Mexico on the charges of torture, forced disappearances, and crimes against the administration of justice, a statement from the country’s Attorney General’s Office (FGR) revealed.

The arrest took place at Murillo Karam’s home on Friday afternoon. In the statement, the FGR revealed that after notifying him of the arrest warrant. He did not resist and collaborated with authorities as they transferred him to the agency headquarters.

The arrest comes just one day after Mexico’s Undersecretary for Human Rights Alejandro Encinas issued a preliminary report from the Commission for Truth and Access to Justice on the Ayotzinapa Case. In the report, Encinas called the case a “State Crime” that was carried out by the highest officials under the previous presidential administration. Encinas claimed that government officials at the federal and state level carried out ommissions, were negligent, and altered evidence, facts, and circumstances to push a false narrative of events that became known as the “Historical Truth.”

Ex-Boston prosecutor and social justice advocate accused of rape at NYC hotel

A social justice advocate and former Boston prosecutor has been indicted for allegedly raping a woman at a New York City hotel, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.

Adam Foss, 42, of Los Angeles, was freed without bail at his arraignment in Manhattan Supreme Court, where he pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree rape and sexual abuse.

Judge Curtis Farber granted him supervised release at the request of prosecutors, with the condition that he surrender his passport, the DA’s office said.

Foss — a public speaker and founder of the social justice organization Prosecutor Impact — is accused of raping a 25-year-old woman while she slept in a room at a Midtown hotel on Oct. 21, 2017.

He and the victim had been calling and texting for a month prior to the date, when she repeatedly rebuffed his efforts to have sex before the two fell asleep, prosecutors said.

Witnesses: S.F. Police Caught Catalytic Converter Thief Red-handed, Let Him Go

San Francisco police caught a man red-handed sawing off a catalytic converter from a stolen car — and let him go, even helping him find the bus stop, according to shocked eyewitnesses who said the experience left them feeling unsafe in the city.

Lauren Lindsay and Morgan Heller, roommates who live in the city’s Richmond district, heard the noise of a man using power tools to cut the converter from the car — at 3 a.m. Catalytic converters are popular targets for thieves because they include trace amounts of precious metals, such as platinum, that help reduce the toxicity of emissions from combustion engines.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported:

[Officers] responded to a 911 call about a man cutting a catalytic converter from the underbelly of a car. The officers arrived to find the alleged thief at the scene of the crime, learned he was on probation for a previous theft and then let him walk off, car jack in hand — even giving him directions to the nearest bus stop.

Roommates Lauren Lindsay and Morgan Heller witnessed the incident and bizarre police response from their apartment at 24th Avenue and Anza Street in the Richmond neighborhood and were left dumbstruck. They’d done everything right: called the cops, kept their eyes on the person the entire time, answered all the officers’ questions and agreed to participate in the case.

“Even if you package it all together with a bow on top, it still doesn’t go anywhere,” said Lindsay, 26. “It makes you feel like the police don’t really care. It makes you feel helpless.”

Crime has risen in major cities across the United States, thanks in partly to the Black Lives Matter and “defund the police” movements, as well as left-wing prosecutors who have often benefited from lavish spending by billionaire George Soros.

But San Francisco is almost in a class of its own. A statewide prison reform referendum, Proposition 47 in 2014, reduced sentences for many crimes, allowing thieves to escape jail time for thefts less than $950. And left-wing district attorney George Gascón, who was appointed after Kamala Harris left for the Senate, oversaw “reforms” that saw petty crime rise.

Multiple Cops Ignore Citizens Flagging Them Down to Report a Rape Taking Place on the Sidewalk in Front of Them

If ever you thought police in the United States were here for your protection, the following case out of New Orleans, Louisiana should remove all doubt. Nearly a dozen eye witnesses flagged down several police officers, pointed them to a rape in-progress and not a single one of them chose to act. New audio footage from the 911 call, illustrates just how utterly incompetent the security force in New Orleans actually is.

Even after one citizen dialed 911, officers continued to ignore the ongoing rape on the sidewalk and by the time one of the officers finally responded, the rapist had fled.

“There’s a police officer in front of me now,” the woman told the 911 dispatcher.

“He looked at me like I was crazy,” the woman told Nola.com, asking to remain anonymous out of fear of police retribution.

In the recording of the 911 call, we can hear the woman approach the officer and tell him that a woman was literally being raped right now and he can stop it.

“I mean, this police officer isn’t even moving,” she told 911. “He’s still just parked here.”

“There was no urgency whatsoever,” the caller’s spouse told Nola.com. “A woman is being raped in public in front of other people — that is unacceptable.”

Despite pleading with 911 and the officer — who was reportedly working an approved detail for a film — no one stepped in and stopped the rape and the rapist was able to get away.

A Year After QAnon Surfer Killed His Kids, Members of His Church Fear More Violence

In the early hours of Aug. 9, 2021, Matthew Coleman woke his 2-year-old son, Kaleo, and 10-month-old daughter, Roxy, in a room at the City Express Hotel, where they were staying in the Mexican seaside resort town of Rosarito. He bundled them into his van and drove them to a remote ranch a short distance away. Then he murdered them both by stabbing them over a dozen times each with a spearfishing gun.

This is what Coleman himself told FBI agents just hours later, when he was arrested crossing the border back into the U.S. He immediately tried to justify his actions by citing QAnon conspiracy theories, claiming he believed he had to kill his children to “save the world.”

A year later, despite this confession, the Department of Justice is still making up its mind about whether or not to seek the death penalty, and any possible trial in the case is still months away. A recent court filing reviewed by VICE News suggested that an update on the case won’t be available until October. The lack of progress on the case has left the community of Santa Barbara, where Coleman and his wife, Abby, ran a surf school, in limbo, unable to process what has happened.

In particular, the insular and often secretive church communities to which Coleman belonged have failed to address the heinous crime. Now, some members of those communities fear that if Coleman was radicalized within the church, similar acts of violence could happen.

“I really think that the church let this family down, let these children down, and it should be a clarion call to all the churches within the Santa Barbara community that if this can happen to a loving beautiful young family that was really entrenched in the cultural aspects of Santa Barbara, it can happen everywhere. And we need to be aware of the warning signs and I do not believe that it’s been addressed yet,” a Santa Barbara resident who knew the Colemans and attended some of the same churches told VICE News. The source was granted anonymity to speak openly about sensitive issues.
