New Yorkers celebrate assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO with shooter look-a-like contest: ‘I wear this everywhere’

New Yorkers mockingly celebrated the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Washington Square Park with a truly tasteless shooter look-a-like contest — as the frantic manhunt for the brazen killer entered its fourth day.

Eight contestants donning hooded outerwear and face masks were surrounded Friday by dozens of onlookers, whose cheers amounted to votes in the nose-thumbing stunt.

The winner, whose green jacket and face covering made him a dead ringer for the cold-blooded assassin, said he headed toward the park after hearing about the contest that morning.

“I got no looks until I got over here and now everyone wants a picture with me,” he told The Post.

“He’s the one,” one onlooker remarked as he was introduced as “contestant number six.”

‘People don’t care’: Popular internet sleuths deny NYPD’s request to track down CEO shooter

The New York Police Department (NYPD) is crowd-sourcing their investigation into the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson to the general public after two days with no positive ID on the shooter. But they may not get much help from the internet, according to multiple popular TikTok sleuths.

NBC News reported that law enforcement is banking on the American public helping them identify the man seen in new photos released this week, which show the alleged assassin lowering his mask while flirting with a hostel concierge. Those are currently the only photos of the alleged killer in which his mask isn’t concealing his face, and law enforcement veterans have called them a “turning point” in the investigation.

But Savannah Sparks — who has 1.3 million TikTok followers and is known for helping track down perpetrators of racist and hateful attacks — was unequivocal in her refusal to help find Thompson’s murderer. Thompson told NBC she was “pretty apathetic” about the ongoing manhunt, and that her impression of the online sleuthing community’s current mood was: “[C]oncepts of thoughts and prayers.”

Brian Thompson assassin used rare ‘World War 2 spy gun’ to kill CEO as mystery deepens into how ‘ghost’ vanished

BRIAN Thompson could have been assassinated with a rare WW2-inspired spy gun that had bullets with a secret message on them.

The UnitedHealthcare boss was assassinated in a brazen execution in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday in a chilling act caught on CCTV.

The gun used by the shooter appears to match a Brugger & Thomet VP9 – a Swiss gun that is known for its use by vets to put down large sick animals, like a horse, sources told the New York Post.

The inspiration for the firearm comes from a Welrod pistol – a British gun developed by special forces in WW2.

Its mechanical design and inbuilt suppressor meant the Welrod is quiet – so the shooter could assassinate Nazis.

The B&T VP9 shares an almost identical design, but is meant to be quiet so as not to scare other animals.

“Tip of the Iceberg” – California Mayor Predicts Decades-Long Crime Wave Fueled by Biden Invasion

The Biden-Harris border invasion of the past four years has set in motion a crime wave that will pummel the U.S. for decades to come, warns Mayor Bill Wells of El Cajon, California.

Mayor Wells believes lawlessness currently unfolding across the nation is only the “tip of the iceberg,” and foreign criminals – many whom are here illegally or under dubious circumstances – will continue to terrorize American citizens “no matter who the president is.”

“I think the ramifications and repercussions of this border policy is going to be with us for the rest of my life,” Wells told immigration news outlet Border Hawk in a recent interview.

The mayor wondered aloud how aliens will react “when we run out of money” and stop putting them up in hotels, feeding them, clothing them, and giving them a vast array of benefits and cash – courtesy of the American taxpayer.

“They’re going to get angry. They’re going to say, ‘We deserve that. That’s owed to us. And when we don’t have it, we’re gonna go to other ways to make money.’ And a lot of that is going to be crime. This is going to set off a crime wave, probably for decades and decades,” Wells warned.

Wells slammed open borders advocates who deem any level of preventable foreign crime as acceptable.

“As the mayor of the city, my number one priority is to ensure people are safe. When people tell me the migrant crime problem is ‘not that big of a deal,’ or ‘only a handful of women are being raped and murdered,’ or ‘only a handful of apartment complexes are being taken over by Venezuelan gangs,’ or ‘more citizens commit these heinous crimes than noncitizens,’ I think that’s a stupid answer,” Wells asserted.

“Any more is worse. If I could cut down the number of women who will be raped and murdered, I will do that, no matter what the cost is.”

El Cajon sits in San Diego County, where federal authorities dumped more than 155,000 illegals on the streets – approximately 125,000 of whom were single, adult males – between September of 2023 and June of 2024.
