Report: Medicaid Double Payments Cost Taxpayers $4.3 Billion In Three Years

Irecently analyzed in these pages why claims that the House Republican budget will “cut” Medicaid have no merit, not least because Medicaid will continue to grow by over $1 trillion in the coming decade. But if that weren’t enough reason for lawmakers to accelerate efforts to reform a broken program, a recent Wall Street Journal analysis provided another:

Health insurers got double-paid by the Medicaid system for the coverage of hundreds of thousands of patients across the country, costing taxpayers billions of dollars in extra payments. The insurers, which are paid by state and federal governments to cover low-income Medicaid recipients, collected at least $4.3 billion over three years for patients who were enrolled — and paid for — in other states.

As the saying goes, you can’t make this stuff up. Is this what Democrats want to defend when they say they want to “protect Medicaid” — inefficiency bordering on fraud within one of the federal government’s largest programs?

Why Did The FDA Hide Vaccine Injuries?

A frequent criticism of corporations (which I believe also applies to governmental bureaucracies) is that their organizational structure encourages sociopathic behavior. This is because members of these entities are shielded from legal or personal accountability for their actions, with any wrongdoings being attributed to the corporation as a whole. In contrast, the main form of accountability most members face is the pressure to advance the institution’s mission (e.g., make more money), leading to the proliferation of increasingly unethical methods to achieve that goal.

To illustrate, consider this quote from Peter Rost, a former executive at Pfizer and one of the few pharmaceutical leaders to speak out against the industry:

It is scary how many similarities there are between this industry and the mob. The mob makes obscene amounts of money, as does this industry. The side effects of organized crime are killings and deaths, and the side effects are the same in this industry. The mob bribes politicians and others, and so does the drug industry … The difference is, all these people in the drug industry look upon themselves – well, I’d say 99 percent, anyway – look upon themselves as law-abiding citizens, not as citizens who would ever rob a bank … However, when they get together as a group and manage these corporations, something seems to happen … to otherwise good citizens when they are part of a corporation. It’s almost like when you have war atrocities; people do things they don’t think they’re capable of. When you’re in a group, people can do things they otherwise wouldn’t, because the group can validate what you’re doing as okay.

In looking through what went awry with the COVID-19 response, while Fauci was commonly blamed for all that went amiss, I kept running into another less-known individual who, while hidden within the FDA bureaucracy, I believe was directly responsible for many of the mishaps that happened

Why did Jeffrey Goldberg leave the ‘bomb Yemen’ Signal chat?

With momentum for a strike on Iran building within the Trump White House, Goldberg was apparently summoned to move the neocon message. And he wound up with more access than he could handle.

Atlantic Magazine editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg has won the admiration of his Beltway peers for the conduct he displayed after being accidentally invited into a smoke-filled “bomb Yemen” Signal chat with Trump’s national security honchos and top advisors. “Props to Jeffrey Goldberg for his high standards as a professional journalist,” declared Ian Bremmer, the trans-Atlanticist foreign policy pundit on his Bank of America-sponsored GZero podcast. “When he realized the conversation was authentic he immediately left, informed the relevant senior official, and made the public aware without disclosing intelligence that could damage the United States.”

But what exactly did Goldberg do to deserve such high praise?

With a once in a lifetime opportunity to view and report on high level discussions on the US launching an illegal war on Yemen, Goldberg chose to avert his gaze and leave the scene as soon as he could, apparently because maintaining such unparalleled access would have compelled him to report on discussions that might have complicated a war being waged on behalf of the Israeli apartheid state to which he emigrated as a young man. Instead of exploiting his front row seat to the Trump admin’s war planning – a vantage point that would have yielded countless scoops and a bestselling book for any adversarial journalist – Goldberg bolted and dutifully informed the White House about the unfortunate situation.

From there, the story became a palace intrigue over an embarrassing failure of “opsec,” or operational security, and not one about the policy itself, which entails a gargantuan empire bombarding a poor, besieged country because it is controlled by a popular movement that is currently the only force on the planet taking up arms to stop Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

In the fourth paragraph of Goldberg’s Atlantic article about the principals’ Signal group, he strongly implied that he supports the war’s objectives, describing Ansar Allah, or the Houthis, as an “Iran-backed terrorist organization” which upholds a belief system that is (what else?) antisemitic. Given Goldberg’s admission that Waltz first reached out to him at least two days prior to mistakenly adding him to the Signal group, it appears the NSC director had been leaking to the Atlantic editor on behalf of the neocon faction in the Trump White House. And it seems clear why Waltz would have sought to cultivate Goldberg.

Minnesota Police Chief Calls Tesla Vandal a Victim

I’ve been avoiding writing stories about Tesla for the simple fact that, in recent months, every other news story has been about people keying, torching, vandalizing, and attacking Tesla cars, trucks, dealerships, and charging stations. It is practically a daily ritual to scan the morning headlines for the latest sit report on the Great Tesla Siege of 2025.

Of course, Tesla Madness is only the latest wave in years of increasingly psychotic behavior from a mixed bag of spoiled college students, unhappy, unfulfilled white women, and ’60s leftovers who should be spending their declining years doing hash and listening to “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” in their golf carts at The Villages. Sadly enough, the cadre of allegedly enlightened people who are doing their level best to set Homo sapiens back a million years to its earliest ancestors hardly qualifies as being newsworthy at this point. These people make the ape-men in “2001: A Space Odyssey” opening sequences look like PhD. candidates at the Emily Post School of Etiquette.

Ironically, that is what makes this story quasi-noteworthy. According to a piece in the Minnesota Star Tribune, a woman was walking past a Cub Foods in Bloomington, Minn. She saw a Tesla in the parking lot and felt it was her civic duty to inflict thousands of dollars in damage to the vehicle by keying it. $3,200, to be exact.

Hunter Biden got Obama admin to help Burisma subsidiary, new bombshell letter shows: ‘See where our interests may overlap’

Former first son Hunter Biden got help from the Obama administration — which his father, Joe, served as vice president — while repping Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings, which paid the younger Biden a million-dollar salary based on his political connections, bombshell federal files published Friday show.

The documents — which emerged 73 days after Joe Biden’s presidency ended — show Hunter, now 55, solicited and received commitments of State Department assistance for a Burisma geothermal subsidiary’s work in Italy.

Then-US Ambassador to Rome John Phillips, who had received a letter from Hunter asking for help, wrote to the then-second son in July 2016 that he was designating a subordinate to help grease the wheels for Burisma, which was seeking to firm up relations with then-Tuscany regional president Enrico Rossi.

“Dear Hunter, It seems like yesterday that you were in Rome. I hope this finds you well. Thank you for your letter. I know Enrico Rossi well and have a good working relationship with him,” the ambassador wrote in a response printed by the New York Times.

“I spoke to the Senior Commercial Officer at the Embassy, [name redacted], and though the amount of direct support we can provide to a Ukrainian company is limited, I’ve asked him to be the point of contact, see where our interests may overlap, and facilitate contact with Mr. Rossi.”

Biden Family’s Latest Driving Scandal Reveals Pattern of Reckless Entitlement

When most families pass down traditions, it’s cherished recipes or holiday customs. The Biden family seems to pass down a different tradition: reckless driving records and get-out-of-jail-free cards. Just when you thought the Biden crime family couldn’t be more brazen in their disregard for laws that apply to the rest of us, another family member has joined their infamous driving hall of shame. This time, it’s Sara Biden, sister-in-law to the former president, who apparently believes that rural Maryland roads are her personal Daytona 500 track. Honestly, I’m not even surprised anymore – are you?

From ‘Daily Mail’:

DailyMail.com can reveal Joe’s sister-in-law Sara Biden, 65, was caught driving almost 100mph in a 50mph zone on a Maryland country road on the morning of February 16, 2024. Records show Sara, the wife of Joe’s brother Jim Biden, was driving her black 2023 Jeep Rubicon at 96mph down Route 33 near Leehaven Road at 9:30am.

Sara Biden was caught driving NINETY-SIX miles per hour in a fifty-mile-per-hour zone. That’s not just speeding – that’s practically taking flight in a nearly two-ton metal missile on a rural country road with a single lane in each direction. Any parent, grandparent, or child could have been sharing that road that morning. But apparently, the Biden family considers themselves immune to both physics and consequences. I’m absolutely stunned by the recklessness – though at this point, should any of us be surprised?

Of course, when you’re connected to the Biden name, the rules magically become flexible. According to court records, Sara ended up pleading guilty to a lesser offense of speeding at a mere 60mph and was ordered to undergo a “driver improvement program.” I don’t know about you, but if I were caught driving at nearly double the speed limit, I doubt I’d get such a gentle slap on the wrist. Must be nice to have those Biden connections when the blue lights flash in your rearview mirror.

1500+ “Zombie Programs”, Over 8% of Federal Budget Spending at $516 billion, is Unauthorized, Possibly Illegal

Hardworking Americans face rising prices and a weaponized federal government, yet more than 1,500 federal programs are still receiving billions in taxpayer dollars despite their legal authorizations expiring years or even decades ago.

A federal program is separately authorized and funded by Congress. If a program is not authorized, or authorized at a specific level, it is not supposed to receive funding. But because of Congressional inaction, apathy, and inattention, these programs regularly receive such funding even though they lack legal authorization.

491 specifically-identified unauthorized programs and federal spending accounts for roughly 8% of the annual federal budget of $6.45 trillion, or $516 billion dollars. The DOGE effort to cut government fraud, waste, and abuse has so far saved taxpayers $140 billion by comparison.

The Congressional Budget Office couldn’t find or estimate the dollar amounts spent by the other 1,000 zombie programs they identified.

According to a recent investigation by RealClearInvestigations, the United States government is quietly funding what experts are calling “zombie programs” — agencies and initiatives that legally expired but are kept alive through backdoor budget tricks and annual appropriations.

In 2016, candidate Trump even mentioned this concept of refusing to pay for unauthorized programs as a way to get more funding to the military. The media ‘fact checked’ Trump’s claim as ‘false’ even though it was true, because, they said, Congress doesn’t have to follow the law.

One of the most egregious examples? The Legal Services Corporation (LSC), a taxpayer-funded outfit originally established to provide free legal assistance to low-income Americans. Congress let its authorization expire in 1980, yet the agency is still alive and well in 2025 — operating with 135 employees and a $560 million budget.

Republicans in 2011 tried to make modest cuts to the LSC, and the left-wing mainstream media said it would cause major social problems. Leftist media said it was going to “gut a crucial anti-poverty lifeline.” Left-wing non-profits rallied to protect this subsidy and corporate welfare to the nation’s attorneys.

The LSC has long been accused of funding politically motivated litigation, supporting left-leaning advocacy groups, and diverting taxpayer money into causes far beyond its original mandate. In past decades, LSC grantees have been caught assisting in lawsuits to block welfare reform, challenging voter ID laws, and filing environmental and immigration-related lawsuits aimed at advancing progressive policy goals rather than defending the poor in court. Some grantees have used federal funds to lobby state legislatures, coordinate with activist networks, and even sue landlords and small businesses en masse under dubious legal theories.

45 years after it was supposed to be shut down, the LSC is still spending hundreds of millions with zero legislative oversight.

This problem has been plaguing Congress for years, and many white papers and organizations have attempted to bring this problem to the legislature’s attention for many years.

RESIGN: Justice Roberts’ secret friendship with Norm Eisen has been revealed…

According to Norm Eisen—the man who practically wrote the Deep State’s playbook on color revolutions, all things anti-Trump, and lawfare in the US—he and Chief Justice John Roberts are not only good pals, but they even spent a week together in the Czech Republic. According to Norm, the two BFFs were there working on “American rule of law” issues.

Hmm…

Norm was so proud of this that he actually bragged about the trip and made it very clear that Roberts isn’t corrupt—he’s just a “close friend” who happened to fly overseas and stay at Eisen’s posh 150-room palace to collaborate on transatlantic political projects.

Really…

And no, that’s not just weird; it’s a massive conflict of interest and could also explain a lot.

As it stands now, Justice Roberts has no business presiding over any of the cases that Eisen and his army of lawfare activists are funneling through the courts, and we all know Norm is tied to so many of these weaponized cases. He should have been recusing himself from the get-go—and probably outright resigning—for the integrity of the court.

New Info on How the Feds Helped Censor a Bombshell

The US House Judiciary Committee has released internal chat logs, that show the FBI moved into cover-up mode the very day the New York Post published the Hunter Biden laptop story, on October 14, 2020.

The logs, first reported about by journalists Michael Shellenberger and Catherine Herridge, reveal that the FBI employees were immediately instructed “not to discuss the Biden matter,” while an intelligence analyst who, during a call with Twitter, accidentally confirmed that the story, i.e., the laptop, was real, was placed under a “gag order.”

The reason the analyst, who was with the FBI’s Criminal Investigative Division, was able to so quickly confirm the reporting was based on credible information was the fact the FBI had seized and authenticated Hunter Biden’s laptop several months earlier.

Big Tech platforms – notably Twitter and Facebook – then started censoring the article, branding it falsely “Russian disinformation.” By maintaining the “no comment” policy instead of confirming that the laptop was real and under investigation, the FBI was in effect tacitly promoting the false narrative about foreign interference.

These moves originated from the Foreign Influence Task Force, which was shut down earlier this year for its activities related to censorship through pressure on social platforms.

The laptop scandal was unfolding during a crucial time in the 2020 campaign and represents one of the most egregious publicly known examples of political censorship of free speech and media orchestrated by government agencies.

The chat logs that have now been published reveal that one of the FBI staff involved in the Hunter Biden laptop story suppression was Bradley Benavides.

Only weeks prior, Benavides featured in another controversy: that time in what appeared to be a smear campaign against Senators Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley, who were allegedly “advancing Russian disinformation.”

At the time, the senators just so happened to be investigating Hunter Biden’s financial connections to foreign governments.

A letter the Judiciary Committee sent Benavides in June 2023, shows that he had by that time gone through the Big Tech-Big Government “revolving door” – and was senior risk manager at Amazon.

Police Watch and Do Nothing as Masked Antifa Vandals Violently Attack TPUSA Students, Staff at UC Davis

Masked Antifa vandals violently attacked TPUSA staff at a tabling event at UC Davis on Thursday.

The far-left protestors completely destroyed TPUSA’s “Prove Me Wrong” tabling event with former police officer Brandon Tatum. They stole the tent, ripped down the TPUSA banners and tried to steal the TPUSA staffer’s iPad and electronics.

Police officers stood by and did nothing to stop the Antifa thugs as they destroyed the TPUSA canopy and assaulted students.

“Antifascista! A! Anti!” Antifa protestors chanted as they destroyed the TPUSA table.
