Mythologies About Musk

Here are some of the untruths told about Elon Musk and DOGE:

“Musk has no right to cut USAID.”

Elon Musk and his team are not cutting any federal programs.

They are auditors. They were given legal authority under a presidential executive order creating the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Its mandate is to identify waste, abuse, fraud, and irrelevance in the federal budget at a time when the U.S. is $37 trillion in debt.

The agency will expire on July 4, 2026.

Ultimately, Musk can propose program cuts, but Trump holds the authority to approve or reject them. He may or may not act on all, some, or none of the DOGE recommendations.

“No one elected Musk.”

Like hundreds of government officials, Musk was appointed by an elected president to run an agency that does not require Senate confirmation.

Musk is as legally legitimate as the national security advisor and his National Security Council, none of whom require Senate confirmation.

Does the left believe former national security advisor Jake Sullivan, who made decisions far more pivotal than Musk, had no authority to do so because he too was neither elected nor confirmed by the Senate?

“It is a dangerous precedent to give a private citizen billionaire like Musk so much power.”

In fact, Musk has far more legal authority than did FDR’s best friend Harry Hopkins. Hopkins moved into the White House and de facto set U.S. foreign assistance policies toward Stalin’s Russia.

Musk’s position is more akin to past captains of industry like Henry Ford, Henry Kaiser, and William Knudson appointed by FDR to run the wartime economy.

None of them were either elected or confirmed by the Senate. All of them helped to save a poorly armed U.S. after the debacle of Pearl Harbor.

Elon Musk’s ‘Proof’ of Government Waste Is in the Pudding

Earlier this week, Elon Musk appeared at the Oval Office with President Donald Trump; Musk’s son, X Æ A-Xii, even made an appearance. Citing a desire for “maximum transparency,” the tech billionaire discussed the efforts of his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to identify and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse within the federal government.

Here was how The New York Times described the press conference: “In Oval Office, Musk Says Without Proof That Bureaucracy Is Rife With Fraud.”

Later, the newspaper tweaked the headline to read: “At Oval Office, Musk Makes Broad Claims of Federal Fraud Without Proof.”

To be maximally charitable to the Times, they did not actually state that claims of federal fraud are baseless, just that Musk failed to proffer examples. Musk did cite examples of government processes clearly in need of updating, including the infamous, inefficient limestone mine where government employee papers are kept—something that sounds completely ridiculous but actually exists.

DOGE Exposes Insane Federal Use Of Old Limestone Mine And 700 Mine Workers To Store Files

Elon Musk’s DOGE has revealed that the federal government is using an old limestone mine in Pennsylvania to store tens of thousands, if not millions of physical paper files in cardboard boxes.

The files are just retirement documents for federal workers, so could easily be digitised, yet the government has continued to physically store them.

The mine is 230 feet underground and requires over 700 workers with the Office of Personnel Management to operate and upkeep it.

What the hell?

At least if there is a nuclear apocalypse whoever survives in here will have access to…information on retired government workers.

Musk shared the insane finding, noting “Maybe it’s just me, but I think there is room for improvement here.”

Democrat Rep. Says Supporters Want Them To Use “Actual Weapons” To Stop Elon Musk

Democrat Representative Robert Garcia of California claimed on CNN Wednesday that supporters want their Party to use “actual weapons” to fight back against Elon Musk and DOGE.

Yes, he really said that.

After doubling down on calling Musk a “dick.” Garcia stated “I think it is really important, and what the American public wants is for us to bring actual weapons to this bar fight.”

“This is an actual fight for democracy, for the future of this country, and it’s important to push back…” he reiterated.

Push back with actual weapons?

Sounds kinda insurrectiony.

HERE WE GO… Elon Musk Says DOGE to Investigate Federal Government Workers Who Have Managed to Accrue “Tens of Millions of Dollars in Net Worth”

Elon Musk and his adorable son, X, traveled to the White House on Tuesday to meet with President Trump in the Oval Office.

President Trump signed a new executive order mandating federal agencies work with DOGE.

Elon Musk said DOGE will begin investigating federal government workers who have managed to accrue tens of millions of dollars.

“We do find it sort of rather odd that there are quite a few people in the bureaucracy who who have essentially a salary of a few hundred thousand dollars, but somehow manage to accrue tens of millions of dollars in net worth while they are in that position,” Elon Musk said

“We’re just curious as to where it came from. Whether they have very good investing in which that case we should take their investment advice perhaps,” Musk said. “They seem to be mysteriously getting wealthy and we don’t know why – where did it come from? I think the reality is that they are getting wealthier at the taxpayer expense.”

Elon Musk continued, “There are massive amounts of blank checks that just go out…”

Group of Investors Led by Elon Musk Make a $97.4 BILLION Bid for OpenAI

On the one hand, tech billionaire Elon Musk heads an incredible array of companies such as electric car maker Tesla, space exploration giant SpaceX, satellite compoany Starlink, social media platform X and Artificial Intelligence xAI, among others.

Any one of those companies above could be enough to fill an ordinary man’s life. But, as we know, the richest man in the planet, Musk, is far from it.

But on the other hand, he’s also leading a veritable revolution with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), implementing President Donald J. Trump’s policies at a titanic pace, having shaken DC and the deep state to a level that we could only imagine before it really started happening.

So, one could assume that NOW, Musk would have enough on his plate – perhaps even more than enough.

But no, we know learn that a consortium of investors led by Musk is offering $97.4 billion to buy the nonprofit that controls artificial intelligence company OpenAI.

This is widely seen as an escalation in his battle with Sam Altman over the company behind the popular AI-bot ChatGPT.

Musk’s attorney, Marc Toberoff, has revealed that he submitted the bid to OpenAI’s board of directors today (10).

Musk Backs Ron Paul as Federal Reserve Chairman

Former Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) could make a great Federal Reserve chairman, Department of Government Efficiency task force leader Elon Musk suggested Monday.

Responding to remarks from TPUSA’s Charlie Kirk that Paul, who has for years questioned the legitimacy of the Fed, would “make a great next Chairman of the Federal Reserve,” Musk replied, “Great idea!”

The supportive comment was Musk’s second endorsement of the notion over the weekend.

That exchange was seen by Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) who told his audience: “Raise your hand if you’d like to see @RonPaul as Federal Reserve chairman.”

“Elon Musk, Where Are You? Bring Your Ass Over Here! …He’s a Thief! He’s a Gangsta!” – Mad Maxine Goes After Elon Musk in Slander-Filled Rant

Mad Maxine went on a rant today attacking Elon Musk on Monday with her Democrat friends from Congress in front of the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau. Trump recently fired the CFPB Chief, a Biden holdover.

OMB Director Russ Vought said the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) will be closed all week and told employees to stay home.

“Pursuant to the Consumer Financial Protection Act, I have notified the Federal Reserve that CFPB will not be taking its next draw of unappropriated funding because it is not “reasonably necessary” to carry out its duties. The Bureau’s current balance of $711.6 million is in fact excessive in the current fiscal environment. This spigot, long contributing to CFPB’s unaccountability, is now being turned off,” OMB Director Russ Vought said.

Protests erupted on Monday in front of the CFPB headquarters.

The crowd looked a bit small today. Maybe that USAID money did not come in to pay the extra protesters?

Democrats are very upset that President Trump, Elon Musk, DOGE, and Republicans are saving Americans tens of billions of taxpayer dollars.

Mad Maxine went on a particularly slanderous rant accusing Elon Musk of being a “thief” and a “gangsta.”

Elon Musk: DOGE Team Discovers FEMA Spent $59 Million Last Week on Luxury Hotels for Illegals in NYC Violating the Current Law – Musk Vows to Recoup the Funds

Elon Musk reported early Monday morning that FEMA sent $59 million just last week to luxury hotels in New York City to house illegal migrants.

According to Musk, sending this money to these high-end hotels violated the law.  This directly interferes with President Trump’s executive order.

And why is FEMA paying for illegal alien housing when they ignore Americans suffering and living in tents in places like North Carolina?

FEMA funds are meant for American disaster relief and not to fund Joe Biden’s invasion.

Musk says a clawback demand will be made today to recoup the funds.

Apparently, one of the hotels in question is the Roosevelt in Manhattan.

EXPLOSIVE REVELATION: Elon Musk Exposes $100 Billion in Annual Entitlement Payments to Individuals Without SSNs or IDs — Warns Half Could Be Fraudulent

Elon Musk has revealed what could be the largest financial scandal in American history.

Musk has exposed the Treasury Department’s lax oversight, revealing that over $100 billion annually is being funneled to individuals without traceable Social Security Numbers (SSNs) or identification numbers.

Even more alarming, Musk shared that Treasury staffers estimate at least half of these payments—approximately $50 billion per year or $1 billion per week—to be unequivocally fraudulent.

This announcement comes after a federal judge threw a wrench into Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) crusade against government waste, fraud, and abuse, blocking the team from accessing a critical Treasury Department system.

US District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer, a Barack Obama appointee, cited a risk of “irreparable harm.”

The injunction, which came into effect on Saturday, was pushed by 19 far-left state attorneys general, who apparently prefer maintaining the status quo of unchecked government expenditure over transparency and accountability.

Engelmayer has scheduled a hearing for February 20, leaving DOGE with limited access to data that’s vital for exposing the misuse of taxpayer dollars.
