BBC Vows to Fight Trump’s $10 BILLION Defamation Lawsuit After Splicing J6 Speech to Depict Trump Calling for Violence

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has vowed to fight Trump’s $10 million lawsuit against the broadcaster for defamation and violations of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act after they were caught deceptively editing Trump’s January 6 speech to make it appear he was calling for violence. 

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump told reporters on Monday that he would imminently be filing a defamation lawsuit against the BBC after announcing his intention to do so last month.

“In a little while, you’ll be seeing, I’m suing the BBC for putting words in my mouth,” Trump said in the Oval Office.

“They actually have me speaking with words that I never said, and they got caught because I believe somebody at BBC said this is so bad it has to be reported. That’s called fake news.

Parents Accuse BBC of HARMING KIDS Through Pro-Trans Bias In Children’s Programming

In a mounting controversy, 650 families have accused the BBC of saturating children’s programming with pro-transgender ideology, claiming it has led vulnerable young people toward social and irreversible medical transitions.

The allegations, detailed in a letter from the Bayswater Support Group (BSG) to broadcasting regulator Ofcom, highlight a “constant drip-feed” of biased content that parents say has caused lasting harm. This comes amid broader scrutiny of the BBC’s impartiality.

The BSG, representing parents of primary school-aged children and teenagers who identify as trans, argues that the BBC’s coverage over nearly a decade has promoted trans lifestyles without balance, objectivity, or adequate safeguarding.

A spokesman for the group stated: “For the past decade, the constant stream of propaganda about gender and trans activism the BBC has transmitted has played a significant role in creating a dangerous culture for children.”

Newly-Leaked Emails Expose A Legitimate LGBTQ Mafia Presence At The BBC

As you may have already heard, President Trump’s threat to sue the outlet for an edited speech that was grotesquely distorted and then aired in a documentary has increased from $1 billion to $5 billion—in the wake of Trump’s threat, BBC released a statement that admitted to a “regretful” editing job, but denied any wrongdoing. However…The Telegraph kind of blew that claim up, reminding us that in 2022, the BBC also aired a similarly-edited version of the same speech on its Newsnight program:

Spliced footage of the speech, which aired in an episode in 2022, made it appear that Mr Trump was encouraging his supporters to riot.

The edit was similar to a version aired in a Panorama documentary broadcast last year.

What a doozy, because as James Zumwalt wrote today, I don’t think the BBC is going to win this one. Seems like this should be understood for a global media company, but if you create a new video product by cutting and splicing, which yields a conflation of separate remarks to push a narrative that doesn’t exist, and then you air that manufactured footage to millions(?) of people, I’d argue that’s basically the definition of libelous and defamatory action.

While the BBC swears there’s no “pattern” of wrongdoing, a new report from the New York Post suggests otherwise. According to newly-leaked emails,

Female staff at the BBC complained to editors for years that the publicly-funded British broadcaster had been hijacked by the ‘trans’ agenda, newly-leaked emails dating back to 2020 show.

In the emails, female staff complained that biologically male transgender sex offenders were being referred to in stories as women, and that articles were avoiding the use of the words ‘girls’ and ‘women’ when discussing topics such as menstruation and birth control….

Of course, this is expected for a leftwing outlet with an obvious agenda, but it gets a little worse: the company appears to have invited in a legitimate LGBTQ mafia presence:

An internal memo revealed that all trans stories were subject to ‘effective censorship’ by specialist LGBTQ reporters hired as gatekeepers at the BBC, who refused to cover gender-critical stories.

And, per the women who worked at the BBC, the LGBTQ “specialists” would bully wayward journalists, punishing dissent, and creating a “culture of fear” in the office:

The women also described a culture of fear at the BBC, where even veteran reporters didn’t dare to stray from the position on trans issues, lest they be branded ‘transphobic,’ the Times reported.

‘Any questioning or insufficiently enthusiastic championing risked being labeled as bigoted … It felt like activism, not news,’ one BBC staffer told the Sunday Times.

The BBC was reportedly not interested in any story that was “critical” of the LGBTQ movement, no matter how newsworthy. A new exposé about “hormone blockers” being used on small children? Not to be reported on. A story about a cross-dressing man assaulting women in his prison unit? Obviously he must be called a woman.

Trump Threatens Legal Action Against BBC Over Editing of His Jan. 6 Speech

President Donald Trump has threatened legal action against the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) for its editing of the president’s speech on Jan. 6, 2021, which was presented in a documentary aired one week before the 2024 presidential election.

The documentary for “Panorama,” the BBC’s flagship news program, spliced together quotations from different sections of a 2021 speech delivered nearly an hour apart, making it appear to be one continuous quotation in which Trump urged supporters to march with him and “fight like hell.”

Among the parts cut out was a section in which Trump said he wanted supporters to demonstrate peacefully.

A letter from Trump’s attorney, Alejandro Brito, demands that the BBC immediately retract “the false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements,” apologize, and “appropriately compensate President Trump for the harm caused,” or face legal action for $1 billion in damages.

“If the BBC does not comply with the above by November 14, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. EST, President Trump will be left with no alternative but to enforce his legal and equitable rights, all of which are expressly reserved and are not waived, including by filing legal action for no less than $1,000,000,000 (One Billion Dollars) in damages,” the letter, obtained by The Epoch Times, states.

A spokesman for Trump’s legal team told The Epoch Times by email: “The BBC defamed President Trump by intentionally and deceitfully editing its documentary in order to try and interfere in the Presidential Election. President Trump will continue to hold accountable those who traffic in lies, deception, and fake news.”

BBC bosses quit amid scandal over doctored Trump speech

The BBC’s director general and head of news have resigned after the British state broadcaster was accused of misleading the public in a documentary about US President Donald Trump’s role in the 2021 Capitol riots.

The BBC announced the departures of Tim Davie and Deborah Turness on Sunday, a day after White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt branded the broadcaster a “Leftist propaganda machine” and accused it of being “purposefully dishonest.” Leavitt’s remarks followed allegations that the BBC had spliced together different segments of the speech delivered by Trump on January 6, 2021.

BBC director general Davie barely touched on the issue in his resignation statement and did not specify the reasons for his departure, simply stating that “the current debate around BBC News has understandably contributed to [his] decision” and that “there have been some mistakes made.”

BBC Finds Star Anchor Showed Bias by Correctly Pointing Out ‘Pregnant People’ are ‘Women’ During Report

On the surface, the transgender issue seems like nothing more than an opportunity for woke liberals to virtue signal.

When powerful people try to censor obvious truth on that issue, however, one begins to suspect that the invalidation of truth itself represents their ultimate goal.

According to The Times of London, the BBC has punished anchor Martine Croxall for a singular act of on-air bravery when, in June, she changed the woke BBC teleprompter script from “pregnant people” to “women.”

News of Croxall’s punishment came one day after the U.K.’s Telegraph reported “effective censorship” of transgenderism-related stories at the BBC. Indeed, a leaked internal memo written by a former independent BBC advisor cited a “constant drip-feed of one-sided stories.”

BBC’s Executive Complaints Unit has censured Croxall for violating its rules pertaining to “impartiality,” per The Times of London.

Croxall, in fact, did more than correct the woke teleprompter. She briefly rolled her eyes in a clear show of exasperation with the phrase “pregnant people.”

Meanwhile, on the social media platform X, “Harry Potter” author and women’s advocate J.K. Rowling described Croxall as her “new favourite BBC presenter.”

But the ECU would not tolerate Croxall’s truth-telling.

“The ECU considered the facial expression… laid it open to the interpretation that it indicated a particular viewpoint in the controversies currently surrounding trans identity, and the congratulatory messages Croxall later received on social media, together with the critical views expressed in the complaints to the BBC, tended to confirm that the impression of her having expressed a personal view was widely shared across the spectrum of opinion on the issue,” the ECU said in a statement, per The Times of London.

“As giving the strong impression of expressing a personal view on a controversial matter, even if inadvertently, falls short of the BBC’s expectations of its presenters and journalists in relation to impartiality, the ECU upheld the complaints,” the statement added.

X users reacted by likening the BBC’s punishment related to her “facial expression” to history’s most famous dystopian novel.

BBC got caught editing Trump’s January 6 speech to make it sound like he encouraged rioting.

According to The Telegraph, an internal whistleblower memo revealed the BBC “doctored” Trump’s speech to make it sound like he was telling supporters to march over to the Capitol and “fight like hell.”

The Telegraph reported:

The BBC “doctored” a Donald Trump speech by making him appear to encourage the Capitol Hill riot, according to an internal whistleblowing memo seen by The Telegraph.

A Panorama programme, broadcast a week before the US election, “completely misled” viewers by showing the president telling supporters he was going to walk to the Capitol with them to “fight like hell”, when in fact he said he would walk with them “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard”.

The “mangled” footage was highlighted in a 19-page dossier on BBC bias, which was compiled by a recent member of the corporation’s standards committee and is now circulating in government departments.

The dossier said the programme made the US president “‘say’ things [he] never actually said” by splicing together footage from the start of his speech with something he said nearly an hour later.

It claimed senior executives and the BBC’s chairman had ignored and dismissed a string of serious complaints raised by the corporation’s own standards watchdog.

Why did the BBC call Charlie Kirk ‘far right’?

‘Mr Kirk built a huge and devoted following for his far-right views’, said the BBC’s North America editor Sarah Smith on Sunday. The statement came during the BBC’s coverage of Charlie Kirk’s memorial in Arizona, which was attended by tens of thousands of mourners and was addressed by US president Donald Trump.

Smith’s statement is nothing short of astonishing. It would be one thing for blue-haired keyboard warriors on Bluesky to be referring to dead conservatives as fascists. But it is quite another for the UK’s state broadcaster to toe that same line. The BBC pays Smith more than £200,000 a year to report impartially on American affairs. We would hope someone in her esteemed position might pause for thought before smearing a man who was killed for his beliefs.

The BBC isn’t alone in painting Kirk as ‘far right’. In the days following his murder, mainstream media rushed to portray him and his views as beyond the pale. The Guardian, like the BBC, described Kirk as ‘far right’, as well as a man who ‘stood for the darker themes of… US nativism’. The New York Times accused Kirk of leading a ‘hard-right youth movement’. It was also forced to make a correction after falsely attributing an anti-Semitic quote to him.

Needless to say, this is all pretty grotesque. Kirk has just been murdered – seemingly by a genuine extremist. Wittingly or not, smearing him as a fascist, dehumanising him in death, comes dangerously close to justifying or at least sanitising his killing.

In truth, none of Kirk’s political stances could be seen as ‘far right’ in any other time except the strange epoch we live in. Defending the US First Amendment, opposing abortion, being in favour of meritocracy and insisting that men cannot become women are not unusual stances for Christian conservatives or US Republicans. You do not have to agree with these positions to recognise they do not make someone far right.

Furthermore, the group consistently trades upon the BBC’s reputation and its intimate “links” with the British state broadcaster when pitching for contracts with donors, including the Foreign Office, which operates in tandem with MI6.

The leaks reveal that BBCMA’s work is explicitly “driven by a social and behaviour change communication approach.” The organization’s “project design” is informed by “psychology, social psychology, sociology, education and communication,” and consideration of “the specific factors that can be influenced by media and communication that could lead to changes in behaviours, social norms and systems” in foreign countries. Which is to say, BBCMA is concerned with psychological warfare, warping perceptions and driving action among target audiences.

“We recognise that different formats achieve different things when it comes to change… and consider audience needs, objectives and operational context when deciding which format to use,” BBCMA asserts in one file. In another, the organization crows, “people exposed to our programming are more likely to: have higher levels of knowledge on governance issues; to discuss politics more; to have higher internal efficacy (the feeling that they are able to do something); and participate frequently in politics.”
