Trump OMB Launches Full Review of Federal Funds Sent to Blue States

In the wake of the Somali fraud scandal that rattled Minnesota, the Trump administration will soon order a sweeping whole-of-government review of all federal funding awarded to 13 Democrat-leaning states and the District of Columbia, RealClearPolitics is first to report.

It is perhaps the most aggressive budgetary colonoscopy since the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency and the deputization of Elon Musk last year to slash and burn his way through the federal government. Sources familiar with the effort tell RCP it signals the administration’s seriousness about getting to the bottom of waste, fraud, and abuse.

Government agencies have until the close of business next Wednesday to make their report to Russ Vought, the director of the Office of Business and Management.

The review comes as Trump vows to cut off all federal funding to sanctuary cities. “They do everything possible to protect criminals at the expense of American citizens. And it breeds fraud and crime and all of the other problems that come,” the president said last week during remarks to the Detroit Economic Club. “So we’re not making any payment to anybody that supports sanctuary cities.”

The Department of Health and Human Services already froze more than $10 billion in social services and childcare funding for a handful of blue states earlier this month over allegations that funds were fraudulently directed to non-citizens. The latest OMB action will likely dwarf that effort in size and scope. Every government agency, with the exception of the Department of War and the Department of Veterans Affairs, must complete the budget data request and detail all monies sent to a list of blue states.

Somali Claims She Was “Kidnapped” by ICE in Minnesota – Then Goes on Bizarre Rants About Eating Bananas and Rice – DHS Responds

The average IQ of Somalia is 68.

23-year-old Nasra Ahmed played victim and claimed she suffered a concussion after she was kidnapped by ICE agents in Minnesota.

The Department of Homeland Security said Nasra Ahmed was arrested because she assaulted federal agents.

“Secretary Noem has been clear: anyone — including U.S. citizens — who assault law enforcement will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Assaulting law enforcement is a felony and a federal crime,” the DHS said in a statement.

The incident happened last week in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

Ahmed claimed that she was verbally abused and physically assaulted during the arrest. She spent two days in Sherburne County Jail.

Nasra Ahmed held a press conference to talk about her arrest when she went on a bizarre (low IQ) rant about bananas and rice.

“I am proud to say that I’ve survived ICE,” Ahmed said during a presser on Wednesday. “I’m proud to say that I stood up for what is right! And people are saying — many people are saying, including my family and friends that I will go down in history! And I will carry this on my shoulders! Here I am! Speaking in front of everyone and there’s cameras recording me and everyone is watching me right now!”

“I got kidnapped by ICE. They came to my neighborhood, they took me, arrested me, and detained me for two days. An ICE agent called me a racial slur,” she said.

“ICE asked to see my ID and decided it was nice to be racist and say really nasty things to me. They pushed me hard, they used a lot of violence, I got a concussion. I was screaming, I was crying, I was so scared. I’ve never been arrested in my life,” she said.

“I’m proud to be Somali. To me, being Somali isn’t just eating bananas with rice — It’s a lot. It’s an interesting thing. It’s very hard to describe what it means to be Somali and what it means to be American but it’s like a cultural fusion. It’s kind of like the bananas and rice, you know?” she said.

“People think you could eat bananas with rice,” she said.

Jailed Fraud Queen Drops Bombshell: Walz, Ellison Knew About the $250M Heist All Along

A Minnesota woman convicted in one of the largest welfare fraud schemes in state history is alleging that Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison were aware of widespread fraud long before federal prosecutors intervened, adding new scrutiny to state leadership already facing a Department of Justice investigation.

Aimee Bock, the former head of the nonprofit Feeding Our Future, made the allegations during a jailhouse interview with Fox News from Sherburne County Jail in Minnesota.

Bock has been convicted of welfare fraud tied to the misuse of federal funds intended for child nutrition programs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

US military kills two in latest strike on alleged drug-smuggling vessel, leaves one survivor

The United States Southern Command said Friday that two alleged “narco-terrorists” were killed in its latest kinetic strike on a vessel in the Eastern Pacific, and that one person survived.

The strike comes after the Trump administration faced scrutiny over the handling of an attack in September, where a second strike was conducted on a single drug ship to allegedly kill two survivors of the first strike.

The strike was part of “Joint Task Force Southern Spear” which targets alleged drug-smuggling vessels in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific. The military has conducted dozens of strikes in recent months, which have killed over 100 people.

“Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations,”  SOUTHCOM said on X. “Two narco-terrorists were killed and one survived the strike. Following the engagement, SOUTHCOM immediately notified [the U.S. Coast Guard] to activate the Search and Rescue system for the survivor.”

The Coast Guard has not commented on its rescue operation.

Border Patrol’s Greg Bovino Pulls Out the Receipts to Debunk Fake News Narrative

Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino detailed two recent cases in Minneapolis involving individuals who crossed the U.S. border unlawfully, highlighting what he described as the downstream consequences of border enforcement failures and the impact on local communities.

Speaking about the first case, Bovino described an individual charged with cocaine trafficking and a controlled substance violation, identifying the suspect as someone who had entered the country illegally without being apprehended at the border.

“Charged with cocaine trafficking and a controlled substance violation. This is an interesting one, because this individual was what we would term, term as a golf, which is a gotaway across the border,” Bovino said.

“This individual crossed the border and was a golf, a gotaway, more than likely, over those past four years when we had millions crossing the border unabated, this is what we get in our communities.”

JD Vance: California Fraud Dwarfs Theft of Federal Funds in Minnesota

Vice President JD Vance revealed this week that about $7 billion worth of Small Business Administration (SBA) fraud has been discovered in California, an indicator the theft of federal funds across all departments in the Golden State could well exceed any other state’s.

“I think we have a fraud problem that is much worse in California than it is in Minnesota,” Vance said in an interview Thursday with Newsmax.

He continued, “I was talking actually to our small business administrator and I think she found probably a half billion dollars of fraud in Minneapolis and the broader Minnesota area. I think she’s found 7 billion dollars worth of fraud in California.”

“This is unfortunately a problem that is much bigger than Minnesota,” he added. ”But it also highlights how absurd this effort to prevent immigration enforcement is.”

A Dangerous Year for Taiwan: Converging Pressures Raise the Risk of Chinese Invasion

Multiple political, strategic, and military factors are converging in a way that could make 2026 a uniquely dangerous year for Taiwan. Chinese leaders increasingly believe that asserting control over Taiwan is inevitable and may be achievable sooner than previously assumed.

Xi Jinping’s personal ambitions and political timeline add urgency to this assessment. He has pushed the Taiwan issue more aggressively than any predecessor and may view reunification as a defining legacy achievement. Xi has set 2027 as the target for the People’s Liberation Army to complete its modernization goals, ordering the military to be capable of a successful invasion by the PLA’s 100th anniversary.

While 2027 itself is unlikely to see major military action due to the Communist Party Congress and the regime’s emphasis on internal stability, the year immediately preceding it, 2026, is far more flexible.

Former INDOPACOM commander Admiral Philip Davidson warned in 2021 that the threat to Taiwan would become “manifest” within six years, a warning that came to be known as the Davidson Window. The term refers to a period of heightened risk, roughly between 2021 and 2027, during which China could acquire the military capability to attempt a takeover of Taiwan.

Davidson’s testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee underscored the pace of China’s military modernization and its narrowing gap with U.S. and allied forces in the region.

According to 2025 and 2026 U.S. Department of Defense reports, the People’s Liberation Army has expanded its missile inventory from about 1,200 in 2020 to roughly 3,500, while missile launchers grew from 800 to 1,500, supported by additional brigades and 300 new ICBM silos. Systems such as the DF-26 enable saturation strikes on U.S. bases in Guam.

Pentagon orders more active-duty soldiers to ready for possible Minneapolis deployment

The Pentagon has ordered active-duty military police soldiers based in North Carolina to prepare for possible deployment to Minneapolis, three people familiar with the matter told MS NOW.

A prepare-to-deploy order was issued Tuesday for a battalion with the Army’s 16th Military Police Brigade stationed at Fort Bragg, two of the people told MS NOW. At least 500 soldiers are being prepared for the possible mobilization to Minneapolis, two of the people said. All of the sources spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the deployments.

Asked for comment, a Pentagon official said, “We have nothing to announce at this time, and any tip about this is pre-decisional.”

The possible infusion of military police is in addition to the Pentagon orders last Friday that two battalions with the Army’s 11th Airborne Division prepare to deploy. The 11th Airborne is stationed in Alaska and specializes in winter weather conditions. Each infantry battalion has at least 500 soldiers.

Iran will treat any attack as ‘all-out war against us,’ says senior Iran official

Iran will treat any attack “as an all-out war against us,” a senior Iranian official said on Friday, ahead of the arrival of a U.S. military aircraft carrier strike group and other assets in the Middle East in the coming days.

“This military buildup – we hope it is not intended for real confrontation – but our military is ready for the worst-case scenario. This is why everything is on high alert in Iran,” said the senior Iranian official, speaking on condition of anonymity.

“This time we will treat any attack – limited, unlimited, surgical, kinetic, whatever they call it – as an all-out war against us, and we will respond in the hardest way possible to settle this,” the official said.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday that the United States had an “armada” heading toward Iran but hoped he would not have to use it, as he renewed warnings to Tehran against killing protesters or restarting its nuclear program.

“If the Americans violate Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, we will respond,” said the Iranian official. He declined to specify what an Iranian response might look like.

Left Wing Nutjob and Biden Fanboy ‘Moby’ Goes on Bizarre Rant About Trump Having Frontotemporal Dementia

The DJ known simply as ‘Moby’ recently shared a video on social media in which he claims that Trump is suffering from frontotemporal dementia.

It is HILARIOUS to hear this coming from someone who supported Joe Biden, which Moby did. He also makes completely false claims about Trump’s approval rating, which is higher than Obama’s and Bush’s during the same point in their second terms.

Every time you think that the left can’t possibly seem more out of touch with the rest of the country, they up the ante with something like this.

Breitbart News reports:

DJ Moby Says ‘Trump Is Not America’: ‘Clearly Battling Frontotemporal Dementia’

Far-left DJ star Moby went on the attack against President Donald Trump ad claiming that he is “battling” mental health issues.

In a video posted to social media, the Harris and Biden supporter went on the attack against Trump and accused him variously of having “dementia” and being a “narcissist” and apologized to the “rest of the world.”

“To everyone in the rest of the world, just a reminder, Trump is not America,” Moby exclaimed.

He went on to make a false claim that many in Hollywood continue to push, saying, “His approval rating is as low as it’s ever been.”…

“So, he’s a mess, but he’s not America,” Moby said. “And like most of you, we’re just waiting for his presidency to end.”

Moby has been taking shots at Trump for years.

In June 2018, for example, he released a music video in which President Trump was depicted as a Nazi robot who’s blown up by a band of rebellious citizens.
