Syrians Fear Israel Normalization Could Trigger Another Countrywide War

Many Syrians fear another country-wide war could erupt if the country’s new post-Assad rulers make peace with Israel through a normalization deal based on Trump’s Abraham Accords.

Last week, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar told reports that normalization with Syria and Lebanon is on the table, as Prime Minister Netanyahu agrees with Washington on a hoped-for expansion of the Abraham Accords.

“Israel is interested in expanding the Abraham Accords circle of peace and normalization,” Saar said. Israel had already signed deals with the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan – the result of Trump’s first term in office.

“We have an interest in adding countries such as Syria and Lebanon, our neighbors – to the circle of peace and normalization while safeguarding Israel’s essential and security interests,” Saar added.

PM Netanyahu himself has recently said that the June war with Iran had opened “the path to dramatically enlarge the peace accord.”

From a strategic point of view, Tel Aviv wants to isolate any Arab country which remains resistant and critical of its war in Gaza.

Going back to Hafez al-Assad who ruled Syria since 1970, Ba’ath-ruled Syria had long been Israel’s fiercest enemy and neighbor, with the two having fought several wars.

The average Syrian has long been hugely critical of Zionism and Israeli expansionism, particularly since it came under control of the Golan Heights.

Now under President Sharaa, hundreds of foreign jihadist groups are running around Syria, often persecuting Christians, Alawites, and Druze as Sharaa’s HTS government in Damascus turns a blind eye.

Germany’s Rape Epidemic Skyrockets 50%: Left-Liberal ‘Experts’ Propose Vaginal ‘Penis Trap’ Fix Instead of Mass Deportations

Germany is grappling with a severe crisis in sexual violence, as evidenced by the latest Police Crime Statistics (PKS), which reported 13,320 cases of rape and sexual assault in 2024. Over the past five years, these offenses have surged by approximately 50 percent.

In response to this escalating threat, some experts are exploring unconventional “technical aids” to combat sexual violence. Sociologist Julia Wegen from Ravensburg-Weingarten University and Dr. Urs Schneider from the Fraunhofer Institute for Health Technology in Stuttgart have proposed a study to evaluate the effectiveness of a South African anti-rape device known as “Rape-aXe” as a potential deterrent.

Invented by Dr. Sonnet Ehlers, the device is a latex sheath inserted vaginally, featuring inward-facing barbs designed to embed into a perpetrator’s penis upon non-consensual penetration, requiring medical removal. Ehlers envisions it not only aiding in the apprehension of assailants but also facilitating a broader sociocultural shift to discourage such crimes.

Despite generating media attention in the past, the product remains scarce due to insufficient funding for large-scale production.

Dr. Schneider has distanced himself from direct involvement with Rape-aXe, clarifying in a statement: “We are not planning any Rape-aXe study, but want to look at technical assistance for protection against rape”. He acknowledged the South African model as one illustrative example of deterrent technology under consideration.

While no firm plans exist for implementing such devices as a widespread public safety measure, the discussion reveals a deeper reluctance among German authorities and experts to confront the primary driver behind the rise in sexual violence, unchecked mass immigration.

Official data from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) reveal that foreigners, comprising about 15 percent of the population, accounted for 41.8 percent of all crime suspects in 2024, with disproportionate involvement in violent offenses.

Asylum seekers, representing just 2.5 percent of residents, made up 13.1 percent of sexual assault suspects in recent years, while nearly half of gang-rape suspects in 2023 were non-Germans.

German authorities and experts must confront these root causes head-on through stringent immigration reforms, enhanced border controls, and integration programs that prioritize cultural compatibility and public safety. Protecting German women and upholding societal harmony demands nothing less, rather than resorting to gimmicky gadgets that merely treat symptoms while ignoring the underlying policy failures.

Conservatives Adopt Left-Wing Tactics To Allegedly Fix Universities

“Without broader hiring reforms, proto right-wing employees will continue to control big business. Several states are trying to dictate what conservative executives should and shouldn’t instruct employees about, but these efforts similarly don’t reach the core of big business’s sickness – the commercial monopoly of right-wing thought that guarantees its continued malignancy.” It’s bothersome, isn’t it? Members of the left trying to force their viewpoints into private businesses.

Except that a left winger didn’t write the above. No doubt they have, but what you just read is a rewording of the 2nd paragraph of an opinion piece penned by conservative professor emeritus (UC Santa Cruz) John Ellis. Ellis’s was titled “The Public Needs Campus Viewpoint Diversity.” Here’s what he wrote:

“Without broader staffing reforms, radical left-wing professors will still control higher education. Several states are trying to dictate what professors should and shouldn’t teach, but these efforts similarly don’t reach the core of academia’s sickness—the political monopoly that guarantees its continued malignancy.”

To read Ellis is to see the unfortunate road conservatives are traveling on to allegedly fix university education. For the longest time those same conservatives correctly pushed back against quotas of any kind. How things have changed. It’s conservatives allowing their obsessive desire to alter the ideological mix on college campuses to turn them into the left wingers they long abhorred. It won’t work.

The simple, rather bullish truth that conservatives refuse to acknowledge amid their relentless push to nail left-wing universities is that they’re that way largely because it’s left-wingers who tend to migrate toward academia. Conversely, a right that’s reverent of private enterprise tends to migrate toward private enterprise.

Think Jeff Bezos. The founder of Amazon attended Princeton, naturally he couldn’t major in the industry he invented, but eventually he took his talents from the hedge fund world to Seattle where he started Amazon. Bezos is a known free thinker (see his letter about looming changes to the editorial page lean at the Washington Post), at which point let’s ask a simple question: would conservatives have preferred that he had gone the academic route after college to equalize the ideological balance at elite colleges allegedly defined by “rot”? Hopefully the question answers itself.

Helen Comperatore Says She Still Has “No Answers” on Her Husband’s Death at Butler, PA Trump Rally – Demands Secret Service Tell Her Everything that Happened to Allow Would-be Trump Assassin to Kill Corey Comperatore

In an emotional interview on Saturday, Helen Comperatore, the wife of Corey Comperatore, reflected on the murder of her husband at a Trump rally during the failed attempt on President Trump’s life on July 13, 2024.

Would-be assassin Thomas Crooks was able to climb on top of a roof next to Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania rally and put Trump in his scope.

A bullet grazed President Trump’s ear on July 13, 2024, during his Pennsylvania rally. Corey Comperatore was fatally struck in the head. Two other rally attendees were wounded, one critically.

Comperatore dove in front of his family to shield them from the gunfire.

Crooks fired the shot on top of a nearby building, where Secret Service counter-snipers had a clear view of the shooter from their position at a higher elevation than the shooter behind Trump, yet they did not act. Crooks accessed the building with a ladder he bought at Home Depot the same day as the shooting.

Additionally, as The Gateway Pundit reported, an eyewitness told the BBC that several people witnessed the shooter crawling on the roof of a local building with a rifle before Trump was shot, but they did not act until Trump was shot. According to later reports, a police officer encountered the shooter on the roof but let him go after he pointed the gun at him and before he shot Trump.

Investigations into the matter have left more questions than answers. For example, former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle’s excuse for leaving the building unmonitored by agents was that the building “has a sloped roof at its highest point” and it wouldn’t be safe.

Helen Comperatore questioned, “Why was that such a failure that day? What was the reason? Why did he walk around for an hour without someone grabbing him?”

“We have no answers,” she said. “I want to sit down with the Secret Service, and I want them to tell me everything that happened that day. I want to know why they failed. I want to know what happened.”

Minnesota Lawmaker Assassin Says Motive ‘Didn’t Involve Trump Stuff or Pro-Life’

Vance Luther Boelter, the man accused of the targeted assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, has claimed that his motive “didn’t involve Trump stuff or pro-life.”

The brazen attack, which also left State Senator John Hoffman and his wife injured in a separate shooting in Champlin, has sent shockwaves through the state and nation, with authorities labeling it a “politically motivated” act of terror.

Speaking to the New York Post from Sherburne County Jail, Boelter said that his motive was not what people have speculated.

“You are fishing and I can’t talk about my case…I’ll say it didn’t involve either the Trump stuff or pro-life,” Vance Boelter wrote to The Post.

“I am pro-life personaly [sic] but it wasn’t those,” he said. “I will just say there is a lot of information that will come out in future that people will look at and judge for themselves that goes back 24 months before the 14th. If the gov ever let’s [sic] it get out.”

Boelter was appointed by Walz in 2019 to serve on the Governor’s Workforce Development Board and lead an international security firm.

British Dad Arrested While Trying to Save Daughter from Rape Gangs Says Police Faked Records to Smear Him

A British father alleged in an interview on Friday that local Rotherdam police created fake arrest reports to derail an investigation into authorities repeatedly arresting him for attempting to rescue his daughter from a child rape den.

The now-infamous case of a Rotherham father arrested for trying to protect his daughter from child rapists took a new turn this week as the father, identified only as “Jack” in the interview, claimed that the force falsified records of his arrests, using inaccurate information and accusing him of being intoxicated during his rescue attempts.

British broadcaster GB News reports that years after the 2005 rapes of the daughter and arrests of the father, when the so-called grooming gang scandal became public knowledge, the unnamed man filed an official complaint about how his family had been treated. South Yorkshire Police are said to have denied his claim and attempted to discredit the story by issuing a custody sheet showing that the arrests actually took place in a different part of the town, and because the man was drunk.

The father insists that the document features key errors, including the man’s address being given as a home he did not move into until five years later. The father told GB News he believes police produced the document to cover up what they had done to his family. The broadcaster also reported it has viewed documentary evidence proving he had no connection to that address in 2005.

Germany’s Globalist Chancellor Suggests Diplomacy with Russia has Been ‘Exhausted’; Signals Military Escalation

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz spoke to parliament on July 9, stating that diplomatic means for resolving the Russia-Ukraine war “have been exhausted.” He followed by reaffirming his commitment to assist Kiev.

The statement comes on the heels of the failure of the recent Russian-Ukrainian peace talks in Istanbul, which failed to reach any progress toward ending the war. The embattled nations came to a new agreement on prisoner exchanges.

According to the Guardian, Merz went on to say, “When a criminal regime openly questions another country’s right to exist with military force and sets out to destroy the political order of freedom on the entire European continent, the federal government I lead will do everything in its power to prevent this.”

Merz’s comments follow Vladmir Putin confirming his readiness for a third round of peace talks, in which he suggested that both countries discuss details of their peace memorandums, which remain “absolutely opposite.” Putin hopes that these talks could bring the nations closer to finding agreeable terms.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov hopes that the next round of talks will be a direct meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin, who has been notably absent in the previous talks, preferring to send lower-level officials.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is working toward bringing Zelenskyy and Putin together, with President Donald Trump potentially joining the talks, which he has affirmed his openness toward attending.

Putin said on June 27 that it was “quite possible” that a meeting between him and Donald Trump could take place.

Texas man allegedly threatened to shoot Trump on visit to flooding disaster: ‘I won’t miss’

President Donald Trump is visiting the victims of the flooding disaster in Texas, but one man took the opportunity to allegedly make a death threat and win a free trip to jail.

Robert Herrera, 52, of San Antonio allegedly made the threat on social media by implying that he would shoot the president on his visit to Kerr County. Trump previously survived an assassination attempt by mere inches during a Pennsylvania rally.

Herrera was taken into custody on Thursday evening, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Texas.

Court documents said that Herrera had posted the threat the same day in the Facebook comments section of a news outlet’s article about Trump visiting Texas.

He allegedly posted the message, “I won’t miss,” on a photograph from the 2024 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, on the president.

When another account responded to him, “You won’t get the chance, I promise,” Herrera allegedly replied, “I’ll just come for you,” and added an image of loaded magazines and an assault rifle.

He is charged with making threats against the president and transmitting interstate threatening communications, and he faces five years in prison for each count if convicted.

Surge in UFO Sightings: Over 2,000 Reports in First Half of 2025

More than 2,000 unidentified flying objects have been spotted across the United States in just the first six months of 2025, according to data from the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).

This marks a significant uptick from the 1,492 sightings logged in the same period last year.

The NUFORC, a nonprofit dedicated to collecting and investigating these mysterious reports, tallied exactly 2,174 sightings from January through June 2025. That’s slightly higher than the 2,077 reported in early 2023, signaling a potential escalation in unexplained aerial phenomena (UAPs), the government’s preferred term for what many believe could be extraterrestrial visitors or advanced secret tech.

Witnesses have described a wide array of shapes and behaviors that defy conventional explanation, such as glowing orbs zig-zagging at impossible speeds, massive triangle-shaped crafts hovering silently over homes “the size of a tennis court or a football field,” metallic discs, cigar-like objects, and even shape-shifting lights that accelerate sharply or make right-angle turns.

The Hill reports:

Whistleblower David Grusch came forward in 2023, alleging a secret UFO-retrieval program was being operated by the Pentagon. His testimony sparked congressional hearings and increased public attention to the issue of unexplained sightings.

Since then, others connected with the government have come forward to support Grusch’s claims, saying the Defense Department has not been honest with the public or Congress about the subject.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon has remained firm in saying that there is no evidence unexplained sightings are extraterrestrial in nature and disavowing the existence of UFO-retrieval programs.

NUFORC’s chief technology officer, Christian Stepien, estimates that only about 5 percent of actual sightings ever get reported, due to lingering stigma and fear of ridicule.

“There are so many things being seen by so many people. And if it’s a secret block project, you’re not flying it over highly populated neighborhoods where everybody can see it, and even these days, have pictures of it,” Stepien said, according to The Hill’s report.

Environmental Regulations Are Literally Baking Europeans to Death

Much of the U.S. has been suffering a sweltering heat wave for the past two weeks. Though uncomfortable, particularly in areas with nearly 100 percent humidity like Washington, D.C., most Americans experience heat waves as a sweaty annoyance. Our European counterparts are not so fortunate, thanks to excessive regulations driving up the price of energy and outright banning certain air conditioning units.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration put 130 million Americans “under extreme heat warnings or heat advisories [last] Thursday…with 282 locations breaking daily heat records,” according to The Guardian. CNN reported that at least one death in the St. Louis area was ascribed to the heat wave, but mass casualties have not been suffered stateside. Meanwhile, in Europe, eight people have died across the continent as of Wednesday: four in Spain (two were killed in a wildfire that is believed to be driven by hot, dry conditions), two in France, and two more in Italy, per Al Jazeera.

The situation was even worse during the summer of 2023. The U.K. Health Security Agency estimated that 2,295 deaths were associated with excessive heat. The U.S., meanwhile, recorded nearly the same number of heat-related deaths (2,325), despite having a population (335 million) nearly five times greater than the U.K. population (68 million) at the time.

The United Nations estimates that the European continent accounted for approximately 175,000 heat-related deaths annually between 2000 and 2019. The Environmental Protection Agency, meanwhile, calculates that about 1,300 deaths per year in the U.S. are due to extreme heat. (This translates to four heat-related deaths per million annually in the U.S. and 235 heat-related deaths per million annually across Europe.)

There are myriad reasons why there are so many more heat-related deaths in Europe than there are in the United States. But the most significant explanation might just be the simplest: air conditioning.

David S. Jones, a physician and historian at Harvard University, told CNN in 2023 that the disparity is explained by some combination of the U.S. underreporting its numbers and heat being more lethal in Europe due to the lack of air conditioning. The American-European disparity along this latter dimension could hardly be greater: nearly 90 percent of U.S. households have air conditioning, whereas less than 10 percent of European homes do. The productivity gap between the U.S. and Europe helps explain this disparity.
