Israel and Jabotinsky’s Iron Wall

Vladimir (Ze’ev) Jabotinsky (1880-1940) was a key figure in the development of the Zionist movement, which led to the founding of Israel in 1948. After breaking from mainline Zionism, Jabotinsky, born in Odessa (Ukraine), established Revisionist Zionism, a more openly militant version.

What is Revisionist Zionism? Even fellow Zionists saw similarities with fascism. According to Ramzy Baroud and Romana Rubeo, “Before the opportunistic alliance between Germany’s Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler, and Italy’s fascist dictator, Benito Mussolini, in 1936… a degree of affinity existed between Zionist and Fascist leaders in Rome.” Baroud and Rubeo went on:

Vladimir Jabotinsky, the founder of Revisionist Zionism, of which Israel’s current Likud party and other right and far-right groups are the offspring, saw in Italy “a spiritual homeland.”

“All my views on nationalism, the state, and society were developed during those years under Italian influence,” Jabotinsky wrote in his autobiography, referring to his ideological formation years in Italy.

In return, Mussolini had expressly spoken in support of Zionism and of Jabotinsky in particular: “For Zionism to succeed, you need to have a Jewish State with a Jewish flag, and Jewish language. The person who understands that is your fascist, Jabotinsky,” Mussolini said… in November 1934.

Paradoxically, Jabotinsky was also known as a classical liberal supporter of the market economy and the equal rights of all, including members of minority communities. He seems to have had early misgivings about the use of violence, but apparently overcame them. Historian and journalist David Hirst writes that Jabotinsky “once told a colleague, ‘I can’t see much heroism and public good in shooting from the rear an Arab peasant on a donkey, carrying vegetables for sale in Tel Aviv.’ …By June 1939 he had come to the conclusion that ‘it was not only difficult to punish only the guilty ones, in most cases it was impossible.’” (David Hirst, The Gun and the Olive Branch: The Roots of Violence in the Middle East.)

According to the Jewish Virtual Library (JVL), Revisionist Zionism’s goal was “the establishment of a Jewish state with a Jewish majority in the entire territory of Palestine, on both sides of the Jordan [river]. Jabotinsky’s organization favored a powerful Zionist military component. The JVL described the program:

The Revisionist program soon became more elaborate, asking, in addition to the demand for Jewish military units for the introduction of a whole new system of policy in Palestine, defined as a “settlement regime” – a system of legislative and administrative measures (such as land reform, state protection of local industries, a favorable fiscal system, etc.) explicitly designed to foster Jewish mass immigration and settlement.

Jabotinsky also founded the National Military Organization in the Land of Israel, known as Irgun, a paramilitary squad that committed terrorist acts in British-controlled Mandatory Palestine from 1931 to 1948. The Irgun became infamous for bombing Jerusalem’s King David Hotel in July 1946, where the British administration was headquartered, and conducting a massacre in the peaceful village of Deir Yassin in April 1948, a month before Israel declared its independence. The Deir Yassin massacre was one of the acts of Zionist militia violence that incited some 750,000 Palestinians to flee their homes in 1948. This is known in Arabic as the Nakba (catastrophe). During this time, Irgun was led by Menachem Begin, who became Israel’s prime minister in 1977. “Begin and his followers had shed few of the romantic, ultranationalist beliefs imparted by their spiritual godfather Vladimir Jabotinsky,” Hirst writes.

Why Mexicans Are Protesting Mass Immigration

Many Mexicans have similar complaints about American immigrants as Americans do about Mexican immigrants.

Earlier this month, a major city saw a xenophobic protest against immigrants. Those gathered hurled ethnic slurs at the foreigners. Someone spray-painted “not your home” on a wall. One sign read, “Respect my culture.” Complaints included the influx driving up housing prices and foreigners not speaking the native language. At some point, the demonstration turned violent, with some participants vandalizing local businesses.

If that protest had happened in Dallas or Jacksonville, the left would be outraged. They’d blame President Donald Trump. They’d attack Republicans for being racist. They’d smear conservatives as violent, Christian nationalists.

That’s harder to do in this case. This protest was in Mexico City, and the protesters were Mexicans. They’re upset about the many Americans and other foreigners who’ve settled in their city, especially with the advent of remote work. Mexican officials actively encouraged this immigration.

In 2022, Claudia Sheinbaum, then-mayor of Mexico City, worked with Airbnb to tout Mexico City as the “capital of creative tourism.” Sheinbaum, currently the president of Mexico, claimed the arrangement wouldn’t increase costs for Mexico City residents. Locals are now complaining about gentrification and the increasing number of apartments that are being converted into Airbnb rentals.

Foreign money has shifted both the local economy and culture. Some corner grocery stores have become high-end restaurants. Many foreigners expect the Mexican waiters to speak to them in English. One study found housing prices in Mexico City quadrupled between 2000 to 2022, even while per capita income fell after adjusting for inflation. Little wonder many residents feel priced out of their own city.

Here’s How Trump Was Manipulated Into Mission Creep

Zelensky, anti-Russian US hawks, Melania, and the Mainstream Media each exploited in their own way his false expectation that Putin would agree to a ceasefire-partnership deal.

Many are struggling to make sense of Trump’s decision to clumsily thread the needle between radically escalating US involvement in the Ukrainian Conflict and walking away from it. The preceding hyperlinked analysis concluded that he was manipulated into this by his advisors, who exploited his false expectation that Putin would agree to a ceasefire that doesn’t resolve the root security-related causes of the conflict in exchange for a resource-centric strategic partnership. This observation will now be elaborated upon.

Trump campaigned on the promise of ending the Ukrainian Conflict “on day one”, which he later admitted was an “exaggeration”. He claimed that his friendship with Putin and keen dealmaking skills would easily bring this about. In pursuit of that end, Trump tried sweet-talking Putin by blaming the conflict on Biden and Zelensky, lending credence to Russia’s claims that Ukraine’s NATO aspirations posed a threat to its security, and promising that “Crimea will stay with Russia” once the conflict ends.

To further sweeten his proposal for an unconditional ceasefire that would essentially freeze the conflict along the Line of Contact, Trump also suggested a resource-centric strategic partnership with Russia. For his part, Putin suggested the same, albeit with the intent of encouraging Trump to coerce Zelensky into Russia’s demanded concessions for peace. Nothing was ultimately achieved due to the resultant deadlock, which Trump apparently took personally, thus making him susceptible to manipulation.

After spring’s US-Ukrainian minerals deal was signed, Zelensky began more loudly talking about his earlier interest in an unconditional ceasefire, which influenced Trump into thinking that Putin is the only obstacle to peace due to the ceasefire conditions that the Russian leader demanded in June 2024. Trump had already speculated that Putin is “tapping [him] along” so Zelensky’s rhetorical reversal from pledging to fight till Russia’s strategic defeat to calling for an unconditional ceasefire was timely and strategic.

It wasn’t just Zelensky whispering in Trump’s ear that Putin was playing him but also anti-Russian hawks like Lindsey Graham and even his own wife Melania, who Trump revealed on Monday would challenge his claim of “wonderful” calls with Putin by pointing out that Russia was still bombing Ukraine. In parallel with this, the Mainstream Media claimed that Putin was “humiliating” Trump, which aimed to take advantage of his pride and desire for praise from his critics alike to push him into mission creep.

Robots gain human trust with the right kind of eye contact

As humans and robots interact more, eye contact plays a powerful role. It’s more than a gesture – it shapes how we connect and communicate. And as we age, science may offer new ways to keep those social instincts sharp.

A new study reveals something surprising: not just eye contact, but how and when we make it shapes communication. This discovery matters for humans, robots, and the spaces where both interact.

The research was led by Dr. Nathan Caruana, a cognitive neuroscientist in the HAVIC Lab at Flinders University.

Dr. Caruana’s team observed how people communicated during tasks with a virtual partner. The goal was to uncover patterns in gaze that signaled help or intent.

The researchers asked 137 participants to perform a block-building task with a virtual partner. Throughout the task, the experts watched eye movements closely. They studied not just where people looked, but why, when, and in what order.

Born to Revolution: The “Red Diaper Baby” Roots of Zohran Mamdani and Today’s Leading Democrats

The term “Red Diaper Baby” refers to children raised by parents dedicated to the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) or other radical leftist movements. “Red” denotes communism, while “diaper baby” emphasizes early exposure to ideological indoctrination.

These children are often immersed from a young age in socialist, anti-American, and Marxist worldviews, frequently attending union rallies, radical schools, or political protests alongside their activist parents.

Today, the term “Red Diaper Baby” has become a relevant lens for examining the intergenerational transmission of radical ideology within the Democratic Party’s leadership, many of whom have been molded by beliefs of radical parental figures. Before examining the case of Zohran Mamdani, let’s look at a few key figures.

Kamala Harris: Kamala’s father, Donald Harris, is a self-described Marxist economist who taught at Stanford University and has frequently critiqued capitalism in support of democratic socialism.

Donald Harris has long critiqued free market systems and praised socialist alternatives. In his 1978 book, Capital Accumulation and Income Distribution, dedicated to Kamala, Harris argued that Marx’s model “remains today as a powerful basis” for analyzing the growth dynamics of capitalist economies.

Barack Obama: In his best-selling memoir Dreams from My Father, Barack Obama describes his childhood mentorship under Frank Marshall Davis, a card-carrying CPUSA member and one of the first “Black Bolsheviks” in 1930s Chicago.

In the 1940s, Davis was sent to Hawaii by COMINTERN to organize a dockworkers strike aimed at expelling the U.S. navy from Hawaii – a move designed to open up Southeast Asia to Soviet expansion.

Davis became a journalist for the communist newspaper The Honolulu Record in Hawaii. Davis was later subpoenaed by the House Un-American Activities Committee, where he invoked the Fifth Amendment.

In my 2012 documentary Dreams from My Real Father, I presented extensive evidence that Davis, whom Obama resembles to a tee, was not only Obama’s ideological mentor but also his biological father.

Pete Buttigieg: Buttigieg’s father, Joseph Buttigieg, was a Marxist professor of English at the University of Notre Dame. Joseph Buttigieg was a leading promotor of Antonio Gramsci, the Italian communist whose theories of cultural hegemony made him a founding figure in Western Marxist theory. Gramsci argued Marxists could achieve power by reshaping cultural norms and values.

Joseph Buttigieg founded the International Gramsci Society and translated Gramsci’s work, The Prison Notebooks, making Gramsci’s Marxist theories widely accessible and cementing Buttigieg’s status as a key figure in disseminating Gramscian Marxism in the United States.

Garland Favorito and VoterGA Appeal Inexplicable Dismissal of Curling vs. Raffensperger Election Ruling

The 8-year-long federal lawsuit seeking to ban voting systems in the State of Georgia that store a voter’s intent on a QR code rather than human-verifiable text ended in April.

Judge Amy Totenberg issued her ruling over a year after the trial concluded, determining that “the Court lacks jurisdiction to consider the merits of Plaintiffs’ claims.”

The Gateway Pundit covered this trial from Day 1 in court, witnessing several egregious manipulations of the voting system demonstrated live and on the record in the courtroom.

University of Michigan computer science professor Dr. J. Alex Halderman successfully hacked the Dominion ICX system in court using a BIC pen in one hack and tools you can purchase on Amazon for several other hacks.

‘Their Rubber Stamp Is Reckless’: After AAP Endorses Weight-Loss Drugs for Kids, Prescriptions Soar

Prescriptions for GLP-1 weight-loss drugs for kids and teens grew substantially after the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) in 2023 recommended them for childhood obesity, according to a new study published in the AAP’s flagship journal Pediatrics.

GLP-1 drugs, typically used to treat obesity or diabetes, include the blockbuster drugs Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Saxenda. Of those, only Wegovy and Saxenda are approved for children. However, several lesser-known GLP-1 drugs can be prescribed off-label for children.

Researchers with the health data and analytics company Truveta analyzed more than 310,000 health records. They found that prescriptions for GLP-1 drugs for children and teens ages 8-17 increased 65% immediately following AAP’s recommendation and another 5% per month after that, Axios reported.

The researchers found that before the AAP recommendation, the diabetes drug metformin was by far the most prescribed medication for weight loss in kids. However, after the new guidelines, prescriptions for semaglutide — the active ingredient in Wegovy and Ozempic — surged, and prescriptions for metformin dropped.

Whoops: David Hogg’s First PAC-Backed Primary Candidate Goes Down in Flames

Tuesday gave us a preview of ex-Democratic National Committee Vice Chair David Hogg’s plan to meddle in the party’s primaries to get more young, far-left activists involved.

TL;DR: If early returns are any indication, this wasn’t worth ruining his DNC gig over.

With 77 percent of the vote counted as of Wednesday morning, Adelita Grijalva — the daughter of the Arizona Rep. Raúl Grijalva, whose death sparked the special election — had 62 percent of the vote, according to Associated Press figures.

Deja Foxx, the Gen Z influencer that Hogg’s Leaders We Deserve PAC was backing, was a beyond-distant second with 21 percent of the vote.

Given that Arizona’s 7th Congressional District is as deep blue as they come, the September general election is merely a formality.

“This is a victory not for me, but for our community and the progressive movement my dad started in Southern Arizona more than 50 years ago,” Grijalva said in a statement after the victory.

However, the real takeaway could best be summed up by The Washington Post, which called it “the Mamdani sequel that wasn’t.”

“Foxx, who had appeared to gain a bit of momentum in recent weeks, left some Democrats wondering if she could pull off a surprise win like Mamdani,” the Post noted.

“But the antiestablishment message that Mamdani deployed in New York was harder for Grijalva’s opponents to replicate given her support from many of the same liberal groups and leaders who backed Mamdani, and the fact that she had not held prior federal office.”

Indeed, Foxx’s main qualification came from being a hashtag activist on Instagram, particularly when it came to the right to abort babies; she’d gone viral in her teens for confronting then-Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake and has never given up the spotlight on left-bubble social media.

This was enough to convince Hogg — whose plan to spend $20 million to primary older establishment Democrats in blue seats is suspected by many to be the reason why the DNC chose to oust him on procedural grounds — to back the 25-year-old Foxx in what seemed to be a pilot run.

New CIA Study Documents How Obama’s Team Created the Russiagate Lies

A CIA study was published on July 2nd about the Obama Administration’s accusations that in 2016 Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign had colluded with the Russian Government to swing the 2016 U.S. Presidential election toward a Trump victory, and it reported and presented conclusive evidences that this “Russiagate” narrative had been an Obama Administration hoax, and that its principals (co-authors) were the then-CIA Director John Brennan, the then FBI Director James Comey, and the then Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, the three persons who totally excluded, from their falsely (fraudulently) alleged 2016 U.S. ‘Intelligence Community’ study and report (“INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY ASSESSMENT: Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent US Elections”) on the matter, any participation by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, the National Reconnaissance Office, the intelligence elements of the five DoD services; the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Space Force, the Department of State’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research, and the other five U.S. intelligence agencies of the 18-member U.S. Intelligence Community. These three intelligence chiefs — CIA, FBI, and DNI — produced that fake ‘Intelligence Community Assessment’, by including in it ‘evidences’ (such as the infamous “Steele dossier”) and by excluding from it the numerous solid and irrefutaby authentic evidences.

This new analysis, by the current CIA team that was headed by the Trump-appointed CIA Director John Ratcliffe, had been completed in May this year but had not been reported to the public until Rupert Murdoch’s New York Post did so on July 2nd, in a superb exclusive report by Miranda Devine, which included in the online version (which isn’t paywalled) the actual Ratcliffe-headed study. This CIA study is absolutely devastating against Obama — just as the New York Post’s earlier and likewise exclusive and extensively documented online report about the Biden family’s international bribery-and-influence-peddling ring (and Hunter Biden’s laptop) had been, which was further documented by Republican hearings in the House and Senate. (The Biden Administration prosecuted Hunter Biden on illegal firearms-possession and tax-evasion but not on the bribery-conspiracy, which would have implicated his father, who then pardoned Hunter in order to prevent any possible future prosecution of himself.)

Devine’s July 2nd news-report was titled “Obama’s Trump-Russia collusion report was corrupt from start: CIA review”.

On 7 August 2020, I had already headlined “‘Russiagate’ Hoax Unravels, but Their Anti-Russia Sanctions Don’t.” and presented a comprehensive news-report on the demonstrable falsity, even at that time, of the Obama Administration’s allegations against both Trump and Russia’s Government.

Dep’t of Energy says continuing Biden-era energy policies will increase blackout risk by 100-fold

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) released its annual “Resource Adequacy Report,” earlier this month, and it warns that blackouts are coming if the country carries out the Biden-era plan to retire fossil fuel power plants. That is not sitting well with climate activists.

The report’s executive summary opens with a declaration that the U.S. possesses “abundant energy sources and capabilities such as oil and gas, coal, and nuclear.” It warns that the speed at which utilities are retiring fossil fuel-powered generators and replacing them with unreliable and intermittent wind and solar power threatens to increase the risk of power outages by 100X in 2030.

“This report affirms what we already know: The United States cannot afford to continue down the unstable and dangerous path of energy subtraction previous leaders pursued, forcing the closure of baseload power sources like coal and natural gas,” Energy Secretary Chris Wright said in a statement.

The Biden-Harris administration’s report in April 2024 under then-Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm took on a noticeably different tone. Their executive summary warned that relying on fossil fuel resources to meet reliability requirements is “risky,” and natural gas generators should be replaced with hydrogen or fitted with carbon capture, a technology DOE engineers warned wasn’t affordable or scalable. Granholm’s report mentioned climate change 14 times, but the Trump administration’s report doesn’t mention it at all.
