DOJ Files Motion to Unseal Grand Jury Testimonies in Epstein Case

The Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a motion to have grand jury testimonies relating to convicted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein unsealed, according to multiple reports.

In a motion filed in the United States District Court – Southern District of New York, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche called for the court “to release grand jury transcripts associated with” the indictment referring to Epstein.

“At the direction of the Attorney General, the Department of Justice hereby moves the Court to release grand jury transcripts associated with the above referenced indictment,” the court document says.

In another motion filed in the U.S. District Court – Southern District of New York, Blanche also called for the court to release grand jury transcripts relating to an indictment regarding Epstein’s accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.

The motions added:

On July 6, 2025, the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation issued a memorandum describing an exhaustive review undertaken of investigative holdings relating to Jeffrey Epstein (the “Memorandum”). The Memorandum detailed the steps taken by the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation to determine whether evidence existed that could predicate an investigation into uncharged third parties. As the Memorandum concluded, no such evidence was uncovered during the review.

Since July 6, 2025, there has been extensive public interest in the basis for the Memorandum’s conclusions. While the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation continue to adhere to the conclusions reached in the Memorandum, transparency to the American public is of the utmost importance to this Administration. Given the public interest in the investigative work conducted by the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation into Epstein, the Department of Justice moves the Court to unseal the underlying grand jury transcripts in United States v. Epstein, subject to appropriate redactions of victim-related and other personal identifying information. The Department will work with the United States Attorney’s Office for Southern District of New York to make appropriate redactions of victim-related information and other personal identifying information prior to releasing the transcripts. Transparency in this process will not be at the expense of our obligation under the law to protect victims.

As Breitbart News reported, the memo from the DOJ and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) revealed that there was no evidence Epstein had a client list and that an investigation had found Epstein committed suicide. The memo also found there was “no credible evidence” that Epstein had blackmailed prominent people.

A New Fear Unlocked.

According to the South China Morning Post, Chinese firm UBTech Robotics rolled out the Walker S2, the world’s first humanoid robot capable of autonomously swapping its own batteries, allowing it to operate 24/7 without human assistance. 

This development underscores China’s rapid progress in robotics, drones, AI, smartphones, semiconductors, and electric vehicles—technologies that often share similar production ecosystems. The nation that controls the development and supply chains of these technologies will dominate the 2030s. 

The emerging fear isn’t just that China is becoming a “robotics powerhouse,” as Moody’s noted last week—but that its robots are now gaining the ability to operate autonomously and recharge themselves, edging closer to full independence from human control. Curiosity Mounts Over Bannon’s 15 Hours Of Epstein Interviews

With the Trump administration under fire from angry conservatives demanding the release of the federal government’s information about Jeffrey Epstein, increasing attention is turning to a trove that’s in private hands: Steve Bannon’s 15+ hours of videotaped interviews with Epstein.

The interviews took place between 2018 and 2019. That’s prior to Epstein’s July 6, 2019 arrest on sex-trafficking charges that eventually led to his death in a New York City jail, but after the Miami Herald put a new spotlight on Epstein’s manipulation of the criminal justice system after he was first investigated for sex crimes with underage girls in 2005, with the Herald tracking down scores of his victims. 

In 2021, a trailer was released promoting an upcoming, Bannon-co-produced documentary called, “The Monsters: Epstein’s Life Among the Global Elite.” The trailer includes snippets from the interviews. However, nearly four years later, the documentary has yet to be released. Bannon says we can expect to see it early next year. 

According to Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, the interviews were part of Bannon’s effort to salvage Jeffrey Epstein’s ruined public image. “[Bannon] told me he has like 15 or 16 hours of videotape of Jeff. He was trying to help Jeff rehabilitate his reputation,” Mark Epstein told NBC News. “They spent a lot of time together.” 

According to Michael Tracey, who’s been diving into this summer’s eruption of Epstein controversy at his Substack newsletter, Bannon and Epstein are believed to have first met in December 2017, by which time Bannon was an alumnus of the first Trump administration and — more significantly — a renowned principal architect of Trump’s stunning, establishment-defying 2016 triumph.

Citing Michael Wolff’s book Fire and Fury, Tracey relates that Bannon participated in a media-strategy meeting with Epstein and others in late 2018 or early 2019. One of those others was former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak. “[Epstein] probably can’t be hated any more,” Bannon is quoted as declaring at the planning session. “We’ve flatlined on this. He can’t get deader. While the chances of reviving him are remote, what’s the alternative?”

It remains unclear whether Bannon was helping Epstein as a favor, or as a paid consultant with a recent history of masterful molding of public opinion about a controversial character. At the time, Epstein was shelling out $3 million a month to a British PR firm. Offering another potential insight into the nature of their relationship, Epstein’s Paris butler told Radio France that Bannon was among American guests Epstein hosted in France, with Epstein routinely accompanied by “juenes femmes.”

Academic Warns Banning German Opposition AfD Party a ‘Sure Path to Civil War’

Banning the nation’s second-largest political party, the Alternative for Germany (AfD), has become a matter of constant conversation. Yet, a prominent academic has warned that there could be serious consequences for breaking the democratic system.

Germany’s AfD was declared a “right-wing extremist” organisation by the outgoing leftist government earlier this year, triggering a legal challenge. Meanwhile, some German states have moved to ban AfD members from serving as police officers or becoming civil servants.

Left-wing politicians even openly speak of outright banning the AfD altogether as incompatible with the post-war German constitution. This would see the state remove the elected members from parliament. Such discussions are now a weekly topic of headlines in Germany, despite the party having come second in this year’s national elections, with one-fifth of all votes being cast for the AfD, or over ten million ballots. Far from being a niche or fringe party, the faction now serves as the official parliamentary opposition and recently polled in first place nationwide.

While eliminating your political opposition at the stroke of a pen may seem appealing to the German left, a prominent academic has now spoken out to warn against the move, predicting that undermining the basic principles of democracy could be detrimental to the country.

Speaking to Euronews, chair for Modern and Contemporary History at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Professor Andreas Rödder, is reported to have said: “The German Left should think carefully about what it is doing and what consequences it has for liberal democracy.”

The report cites Rödder as one of the “most important intellectuals” of Germany’s centre-right, so he is by no means an instinctive supporter of the AfD, which has eroded the support of the centrist Christian Democrats, just as populists have done to neoliberal “conservative” parties continent-wide.

Nevertheless, using language now increasingly heard in some European states, he told the publication: “A ban that would eliminate all votes for the AfD and thus lead to [a left-wing] parliamentary majority” would be a “sure path to civil war”.

Russia Will Target Any ‘Coalition Of The Willing’ Forces In Ukraine

The Russian Foreign Ministry said any troops from third countries deployed to Ukraine will become targets. European nations have discussed plans to send their soldiers to Ukraine if a ceasefire with Russia is reached. 

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova explained that any country that joins a coalition of the willing and deploys troops to Ukraine will become targets. “We have repeatedly stated that a deployment of armed forces of other countries in Ukraine under any pretense would be absolutely unacceptable,” she said.

“We regard this as preparations for foreign military intervention. We will consider these so-called ‘multinational forces’ as legitimate military targets,” she added.

Several European countries have said they would be willing to join a “coalition of the willing” to deploy soldiers to Ukraine after a ceasefire with Russia is reached. Earlier this month, UK Defense Minister John Healey said, “The prime minister has always been clear that he’s ready to put troops into Ukraine to help reinforce a ceasefire.”

“The coalition of the willing” is an infamous phrase used by the George W. Bush administration to try to sell the Iraq War. 

Moscow says it is unwilling to enter into a ceasefire with Ukraine and is seeking a permanent end to the conflict that addresses the Kremlin’s security concerns. 

Multiple leaks throughout the war have exposed that a small number of American and NATO troops are inside Ukraine. However, Europeans are now discussing a large-scale deployment meant as a deterrent to a future Russian invasion.

As you said, President Obama’s political appointees pulled that document before it could be published, and it has not been published until we released it today. And the very next day after they pulled that document, President Obama called the National Security Council cabinet meeting to discuss how Russia interfered with the election…

China Might Not Want Russia To Lose, But It Might Not Want Russia To Win Either

A Russian loss would be catastrophic for China’s security, while a Russian victory could end the discounted energy bonanza that’s helping it maintain its economic growth amidst the slowdown, not to mention accelerate the US’ “Pivot (back) to (East) Asia” for more muscularly containing it.

The South China Morning Post (SCMP) cited unnamed sources to report that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told his EU counterpart that China doesn’t want Russia to lose in Ukraine because the US’ whole focus might then shift to China. His alleged remarks were spun by the Mainstream Media as an admission that China isn’t as neutral as it claims, just as they and their Alt-Media rivals suspected. Both now believe that China will help Russia win, as in obtain its maximum goals, but that’s likely not the case.

Assuming for the sake of argument that Wang did indeed say what was attributed to him, it would align with the assessment around the conflict’s one-year anniversary in February 2023 that “China Doesn’t Want Anyone To Win In Ukraine”. The SCMP channeled the gist of the preceding analysis by writing that “One interpretation of Wang’s statement in Brussels is that while China did not ask for the war, its prolongation may suit Beijing’s strategic needs, so long as the US remains engaged in Ukraine.”

To explain, not only would the US be unable to “Pivot (back) to (East) Asia” for more muscularly containing China at the scale that Trump envisages if the Ukrainian Conflict drags on, but the continued pressure placed upon the Russian economy by Western sanctions would benefit the Chinese economy. China already imports a staggering amount of discounted Russian oil, which helps maintain its economic growth amidst the slowdown that it’s experiencing, but this could end if sanctions were curtailed.

Additionally, the greater that China’s role becomes in serving as a valve for Russia from Western sanctions pressure (both in terms of energy imports for helping to finance the Russian budget but also exports that replace lost Western products), the more dependent Russia will become on China. The increasingly lopsided nature of their economic relations could then be leveraged to clinch the most preferential long-term energy deals possible as regards the Power of Siberia II and other pipelines.

These outcomes could restore China’s superpower trajectory that was derailed during the first six months of the special operation as explained here at the time, thus strengthening its overall resilience to US pressure and therefore making it less likely that the US can coerce a series of lopsided deals from it. It’s for this reason that Trump’s Special Envoy to Russia Steve Witkoff is reportedly pushing for the US to lift its energy sanctions on Russia in order to deprive China of these financial and strategic benefits.

Newsom’s Office Brags About Beautiful CA Locations, Then Uses Pic from Different State

When you’re running one of the largest economies in the world into the ground, you probably don’t have time to fact-check your vacation photos.

On Tuesday, the official Governor Newsom Press Office account tried to clap back at a critic on social media platform X. Instead, it ended up showcasing Nevada.

Newsom had posted a video of his interview with podcaster Shawn Ryan, in which he defended and in some cases downplayed his record of gun control.

A user named “One Bad Dude” replied, “FACT: Democrat run states are sh**holes.”

Rather than respond to that policy criticism with, say, facts or statistics, the Newsom Press Office fired back with four scenic photos and a caption that simply read: “sh**hole.”

Because when you’ve got nothing else, just say “nuh uh!” and post a couple of pretty landscapes.

There’s just one problem: one of the images — specifically the lower left one — wasn’t even from California.

It was from Sand Harbor. That’s not a California location. It’s the main beach of Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park.

Yes, Nevada. As in, not California.

To be fair, Lake Tahoe does straddle the state line. But Sand Harbor is clearly and entirely within Nevada’s borders.

So if you’re keeping score at home: Newsom’s team tried to prove California isn’t a “sh**hole” by promoting a different state.

This is the same governor who’s been in office for nearly six years. (I observed open-air drug use myself in a large homeless encampment in Los Angeles just months ago in broad daylight on a Tuesday.)

In any event, who posts state tourism photos and forgets to check which state they’re actually from?

Avoid Hertz’s AI-Powered Rental Car Scanners

Back in late 2023, Amazon unveiled an AI-powered scanner that drivers pass through at the end of each shift. The AI system detects even the most minor anomalies, such as tire deformities, undercarriage wear, and minor scratches or dents on delivery vans. A nearly identical AI scanner has now appeared in the parking lots of rental car giant Hertz. 

Auto blog The Drive reports that an increasing number of Hertz locations across the country are adopting AI scanners to inspect returned rental cars. The outlet warns that consumers may want to steer clear of these scanners, as they risk being hit with steep fees for even the smallest blemishes.

“A customer rents a vehicle from Hertz, and upon return, the scanner finds an insignificant blemish on the vehicle, leading to unexpectedly high charges that are often doubled through tacked-on administrative fees,” The Drive explained. 

There have been several reports—most notably at Hertz’s Atlanta airport location—of frustrated customers being charged for “insignificant blemishes” after passing through AI scanners. These systems are still relatively new for the rental industry. The Drive has warned readers to take precautions when renting vehicles and offered several tips on how to protect themselves from unexpected charges…

HORRIFYING: DHS Confirms Arrest of Mexican Illegal Alien Previously Charged with Concealing Missing Illinois Woman in Storage Container for TWO MONTHS, Decapitating and Bleaching Corpse – Man Released in April Without Bail

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Saturday confirmed that an illegal alien, who was charged with hiding the body of a missing woman for nearly two months, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the Democratic Sanctuary City of Chicago, Illinois.

Megan Bos (37) was discovered dead in April after disappearing in February, according to Fox 32 Chicago.

Jose Luis Mendoza-Gonzalez (52) reportedly told police she had overdosed at his home, but he “broke her phone, kept her body in the basement for two days, then moved it outside,” Fox reports.

Bos’s body was found wrapped in a blue tarp inside of a storage container in the man’s yard.

According to Fox’s Bill Melugin, “DHS says Bos’ corpse had been decapitated and she was found in bleach in the storage container.”

Still, Mendoza-Gonzalez was released from prison under Illinois’s SAFE-T Act, which was signed into law by Democratic Governor JB Pritzker days after Joe Biden was inaugurated as President in January 2021. The law eliminated cash bail in all criminal cases, prohibited pretrial detention in most cases, and hindered police from doing their jobs to protect public safety.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said, “It is absolutely repulsive this monster walked free on Illinois’s streets after allegedly committing such a heinous crime. Megan Bos and her family will have justice.”

DHS confirms to @FoxNews that ICE just arrested a Mexican illegal alien in the sanctuary city of Chicago who was charged in April w/ concealing the body of a missing Illinois woman in a storage container on his yard for almost 2 months & abusing her corpse. Despite the severity of the charges, Lake County Judge Randie Bruno released him from custody immediately after his first court appearance in April.

I’m told 52-year-old Jose Luis Mendoza-Gonzalez was just found & arrested by ICE at a market in Chicago this afternoon, and he is currently in ICE custody.

Police in Waukegan, IL say they found the body of 37-year-old Megan Bos, who had been reported missing on March 9th, in a container in Mendoza-Gonzalez’s yard in Waukegan in April. Mendoza-Gonzalez was charged with concealing her corpse, abusing it, and obstruction of justice.

DHS says Bos’ corpse had been decapitated and she was found in bleach in the storage container.
