US Has Been Supporting Long-Range Ukrainian Drone Attacks Inside Russia for Months

The Trump administration has been providing Ukraine with intelligence to carry out long-range drone attacks against Russian energy infrastructure, the Financial Times reported on Sunday, citing multiple US and Ukrainian officials.

The report said that the US intelligence helps Ukraine “shape route planning, altitude, timing and mission decisions, enabling Ukraine’s long-range, one-way attack drones to evade Russian air defenses.”

A US official told the paper that Ukraine selects the target for the strike, then the US provides information on its vulnerabilities. However, other officials said the US has actually been setting out target priorities for the Ukrainian military, meaning the US is choosing what to strike.

One of the FT’s sources described Ukraine’s drone force as the “instrument” the US is using to achieve the goal of undermining the Russian economy and pushing Russian President Vladimir Putin toward a settlement to end the war. The US has spent billions helping build up Ukraine’s drone program, an effort backed by the CIA.

The report said that the US began supplying Ukraine with the intelligence following a July phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during which Trump reportedly asked if Ukraine could hit Moscow if the US provided longer-range weapons. In August and September, Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian energy infrastructure significantly escalated.

US-backed attacks on Russian territory always risk a major escalation between Russia and NATO, and the FT report noted that the Biden administration refrained from supporting such strikes on Russian energy infrastructure. President Biden did support Ukrainian strikes on Russian border regions using ATACMS, US-provided missiles that have a range of about 190 miles.

New York Doubles Down on Delivery Wage Disaster

In 2023, New York City became the first city in America to pass a minimum wage rate for app-based restaurant delivery drivers. Several other progressive cities have followed suit, resulting in a range of issues from rising delivery costs to many drivers dropping out of the workforce entirely. Now, the city that started it all is doubling down—this time on grocery delivery drivers.

In July, the New York City Council passed numerous bills that it claimed were designed to protect grocery delivery drivers. This legislative package introduced new rules, requiring delivery apps to include a 10-percent tipping option either before or at the time of the order (vs. afterwards, where the option exists now), and mandated that app-based platforms pay delivery drivers within seven days of the end of a pay period.

One of the most notable bills would extend New York City’s minimum wage mandate from restaurant delivery drivers to drivers delivering groceries. The rate, first set at $19.96 per hour in 2023, has risen to $21.44 per hour. Though current Mayor Eric Adams eagerly endorsed the original law (saying at the time, “Our delivery workers have consistently delivered for us—now, we are delivering for them”), he surprisingly vetoed the new expansion. “Now is not the time to do anything that will further increase the cost for New Yorkers of obtaining groceries, when prices are already too high,” Adams said in his veto statement.

Despite mayoral resistance, the City Council has decided to plow forward anyway by overriding Adams’ veto.

New York’s experiment with delivery driver wage mandates hasn’t gone well. Pay went up after the 2023 rule kicked in, but so did prices—and many drivers left the market altogether. The city saw an 8 percent drop in its delivery workforce, while food delivery costs rose 10 percent, including a 12 percent jump in restaurant prices and a staggering 58 percent spike in app fees. Tips, meanwhile, plunged 47 percent. Platforms even started capping drivers—at one point, Uber Eats reported more than 27,000 New Yorkers were on their driver waitlist.

Seattle followed suit in 2024 with a $26-an-hour minimum wage for delivery drivers—and immediately watched the system collapse. Apps tacked on a new $5 delivery fee, and with taxes added, customers were soon paying bills with nearly 30 percent of the cost unrelated to the food itself. DoorDash saw 33,000 fewer orders in just the first two weeks, wiping out about $1 million in restaurant sales.

Counter to the law’s intention, many Seattle delivery drivers saw their earnings slashed by over half. “Demand was dead,” according to one such driver. A recent report from gig companies found that, following the ordinance taking effect, delivery orders dropped 25 percent, and driver pay fell 28 percent per hour logged on.

Even Seattle’s City Council president, who initially backed the mandate, later proposed cutting the topline rate to $19.97, in line with the state’s minimum wage. The partial repeal failed to pass.

‘ThisB***hNeedsToDie’: Another Lib Caught Wishing Death Upon a Conservative in NJ School Board Race

Enough. I’m tired of being told to turn down the rhetoric when we did nothing wrong. Second, the very people making those claims are wishing death upon us behind our backs. It’s nothing new, but just a reminder for everyone to hit the mute button when some self-righteous liberal says that in your presence.

Your people are shooting ICE facilities and conservative activists. Liberals are children who need a belt to the face, especially this liberal in a local New Jersey school board race who’s been busted sending graphic texts about his conservative opponent. And yes, he’s wished death upon her. He’s since dropped out of the race (via NY Post):

A New Jersey school board candidate was caught red-handed sending vicious, sexual messages about a conservative female board member in a group chat labeled “ThisB***hNeedsToDie.”

Photos of Scott Semaya’s vile texts about Danielle Bellomo at a July school board meeting leaked this week on social media — and the widening scandal is now being investigated by local cops and roiling the affluent suburb of Marlboro.

“Bellomo must be cold — her nips could cut glass right n” read one text, allegedly captured on camera while Semaya’s fingers typed an “o.”

Outrage was immediate, and Semaya this week dropped out of the race for the Marlboro Board of Education, followed by his running mate Melissa Goldberg.

[…]

Semaya, 38, an accountant who has voiced progressive liberal views, was one of five candidates running for three open seats on the Marlboro Board of Education. He cited only “family circumstances” in announcing his exit from the race. He did not return multiple messages seeking comment.

Antifa Is Threatening Families Of Law Enforcement: Homeland Security

Family members of law enforcement officers are facing threats from individuals affiliated with the far-left extremist group Antifa, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in an Oct. 10 X post.

“Antifa terrorists are threatening the families of our law enforcement. We will hunt these sickos down and put them behind bars,” the post said. “In Texas, the spouse of an ICE officer received a voicemail filled with violent threats.”

The agency uploaded an audio clip of the threat received by the spouse, in which a woman can be heard using expletives against the wife of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer, comparing them to Nazis.

“Did you hear what happened to the Nazis after World War II? Because that’s what’s going to happen to your family,” the caller said in the expletive-filled message.

In an Oct. 10 X post, the White House said Antifa is a radical terror group explicitly calling for the overthrow of the American government.

“Under the Trump Administration, Antifa’s days are over,” it said.

The post included a video of several officials and personalities detailing threats posed by the group.

For instance, conservative influencer Cam Higby reported he was “brutally attacked and almost killed” by Antifa in Seattle and that all of his colleagues have faced violence.

In the video, Attorney General Pam Bondi said Antifa attacked police stations, attacked court houses, and doxxed law enforcement officers. “They are a terrorist group and we are coming after them,” she said.

Antifa is a far-left extremist group originating in the Soviet Union and is known for committing politically motivated violence against their opponents, whom the group typically labels as fascists.

President Donald Trump designated Antifa a domestic terrorist organization in a Sept. 22 executive order, calling the group a “militarist, anarchist enterprise” that uses campaigns of violence and terrorism to accomplish its goal of overthrowing the U.S. government and the system of law.

“Antifa recruits, trains, and radicalizes young Americans to engage in this violence and suppression of political activity,” said the order.

Scientists Discover a New Form of Ice That Shouldn’t Exist

Researchers at the European XFEL and DESY are investigating unusual forms of ice that can exist at room temperature when subjected to extreme pressure.

Ice comes in many forms, even when made of nothing but water molecules. Scientists have now identified more than 20 unique solid structures, or “phases,” of ice, each with its own molecular arrangement. These variations are labeled with Roman numerals, such as ice I, ice II, and ice III.

In a recent breakthrough, an international team of researchers led by scientists from the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) has discovered a completely new phase known as ice XXI. Using advanced X-ray facilities at the European XFEL and PETRA III, the team captured and analyzed this previously unknown structure. Their findings have been published in Nature Materials.

Ice XXI is unlike any other form of ice observed so far. It develops when liquid water is subjected to rapid compression, creating what scientists call “supercompressed water” at room temperature. This phase is metastable, meaning it can persist for a time even though another type of ice would normally be more stable under the same conditions. The discovery provides valuable new insights into how ice behaves and transforms under extreme pressure.

Water or H2O, despite being composed of just two elements, exhibits remarkable complexity in its solid state. The majority of the phases are observed at high pressures and low temperatures. The team has learned more about how the different ice phases form and change with pressure.

“Rapid compression of water allows it to remain liquid up to higher pressures, where it should have already crystallized to ice VI,” KRISS scientist Geun Woo Lee explains. Ice VI is an especially intriguing phase, thought to be present in the interior of icy moons such as Titan and Ganymede. Its highly distorted structure may allow complex transition pathways that lead to metastable ice phases.

Because most ice variants exist only under extreme conditions, the researchers created high-pressure conditions using diamond anvil cells. The sample – in this case, water – is placed between two diamonds, which can be used to build up very high pressure due to their hardness. Water was examined under pressures of up to two gigapascals, which is about 20,000 times more than normal air pressure. This causes ice to form even at room temperature, but the molecules are much more tightly packed than in normal ice.

The Debate Over Congressional Access to ICE Facilities

Congressional representatives have repeatedly been denied access to ICE facilities. The real motivation for these congressional visits seems to be political, that Democrats are against mass deportations and are trying to get the illegals released back onto U.S. streets. They claim that it’s “the way illegals are being detained and deported” that upsets them, but in reality, it is the fact that illegals are being detained and deported that they are really angry about.

So far, there have been legal challenges to the deployment of the National Guard to protect ICE offices, sanctuary cities not only refusing to aid ICE but also refusing to protect them, and local authorities declaring ICE-free zones. Judges have even issued limits on ICE, such as prohibiting arrests of illegals traveling to or from their illegal jobs.

The latest conflict regarding congressional representatives demanding access to ICE facilities whenever they wish has sparked a constitutional crisis over congressional oversight. The issue is now going to court and will most likely be escalated to a higher court, as both sides will probably not accept a ruling they do not like.

Illinois Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth were denied access to the Broadview ICE detention facility on Friday, October 10, 2025, marking their fourth attempt to enter the site. Both Democratic senators have made repeated requests to the Department of Homeland Security for oversight of the facility, which is used to process detained immigrants.

Speaking outside the facility, Senator Tammy Duckworth condemned the administration’s actions, saying, “It is appalling that two United States senators are not allowed to visit this facility. What are you afraid of is what I want to ask [Homeland Security Secretary] Kristi Noem. What are you afraid of? You don’t hide, you don’t run away when you’re proud of what you’re doing.”

This ongoing controversy centers on whether members of Congress have the right to conduct unannounced oversight visits to ICE detention facilities, with sharply differing interpretations of federal law.

Section 527 of the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, originally enacted in 2020 as Section 532 and later renumbered, states that none of the funds appropriated to DHS may be used to prevent a member of Congress from entering any DHS-operated or contracted facility used to detain or house aliens for the purpose of oversight.

Subsection (b) explicitly adds that members are not required to provide prior notice of their intent to visit. The statute further specifies that access is granted to any member of Congress, not just those on particular committees or in leadership, and forbids DHS from making temporary modifications to facilities that could alter what a visiting member would otherwise observe.

The Trump administration maintains that visit requests must be submitted in advance, typically one week, to prevent interference with the President’s Article II authority to oversee executive departments. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and other officials argue that safety concerns justify regulating access, citing increased incidents of assaults and disruptions.

New York City Mayor Candidate Zohran Kwame Mamdani Loves Crime

Zohran Kwame Mamdani, running for New York City mayor on the Democratic ticket, is also a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), whose platform calls for slashing arrests, cutting prosecutors’ budgets, abolishing cash bail and pre-trial detention, scrapping electronic monitoring, and ending imprisonment for parole violations.

Although Mamdani has since walked back his earlier comments about defunding the police, his policies would effectively do just that. His plan would shift much of the NYPD’s patrol work to a newly created Department of Community Safety, restrict police authority, downgrade serious crimes, and discourage enforcement of misdemeanors, all consistent with the DSA’s broader push to weaken law enforcement and dismantle public safety.

In August 2020, when asked if prisons were obsolete, Mamdani replied, “I think that frankly, I mean, what purpose do they serve, right? I think we have to ask ourselves that… I think a lot of people who defend the carceral state, that defend the idea of it and the way it makes them feel, they’re not defending the reality of it and the practices that are part and parcel of it.”

Then, at a 2021 protest outside the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, he went even further, declaring, “What violent crime is, is defined by the state. Violence is an artificial construction.”

Mamdani has criticized the Adams administration for increasing the number of inmates on Rikers Island by roughly a thousand, claiming the population could be reduced to fewer than four thousand. Since Rikers averages about seven thousand inmates, that would mean cutting the prison population nearly in half, by around 3,300 people, or 47 percent. Supporters of Mamdani insist that overall crime is down, but those claims rely on deceptive statistics.

For example, in 2023, New York City saw roughly 1,000 felony reports for every 380 arrests. Of those arrests, prosecutors declined to press charges in 42 cases, and 200 more were dismissed. Ultimately, only 123 of the original 1,000 felony complaints led to any conviction, with just 32 resulting in felony convictions, and fewer than 40 offenders serving additional jail or prison time. New York City’s conviction rate is now 39 percent lower than in 2019 and 52 percent lower than in the rest of the state. Prosecutors are declining more cases than ever, and dismissals have skyrocketed.

Meanwhile, total reported crimes, including 188,418 felonies, 299,929 misdemeanors, and 88,761 violations in 2024, show that violence remains a serious problem. Assaults, both felony and misdemeanor, have climbed steadily since 2008 and reached their highest levels since 1998. Subway assaults have tripled since 2009. Despite these facts, Mamdani and his supporters use manipulated crime statistics to claim too many people are imprisoned, when in reality, fewer criminals are being prosecuted, convicted, or incarcerated than ever before.

One of Mamdani’s socialist proposals is to make public transportation free. A trial program was conducted and quickly declared a success by Democrats, though their definition of success was simply that people used the free routes. They ignored the fact that most of the ridership had merely been diverted from nearby fare-paying lines, reducing the city’s overall revenue. Even more importantly, they overlooked a basic truth: nothing is free. The cost of these “free” rides was merely shifted to taxpayers, many of whom drive or walk and therefore received no benefit from the program.

Supporters also claimed the project reduced transit crime, citing a 38.9 percent drop in assaults on bus operators along the free routes. Even if that number is accurate—which is doubtful, given the way Democrat jurisdictions often downgrade crimes—the logic behind it is absurd. Should the public really have to be bribed not to attack bus drivers? Do airline pilots get assaulted because passengers pay for tickets?

If paying a fare provokes someone to violence, that person is not a victim of the system but someone unfit for civil society, because the next time they’re asked to follow a rule, they’ll attack someone else.

Pete Hegseth Launches Counter-Narcotics Task Force Under President Trump’s Order to Destroy Cartels

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced on Friday that a counter-narcotics task force in the Caribbean will be launched under an order from President Trump.

Hegseth explained that the intention of the task force was to destroy the cartels and keep the United States safe from drugs.

The task force will be in SOUTHCOM, which is in the Caribbean and Latin America geographical locations.

Fox News Reported:

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on Friday announced that the Department of War (DOW) is establishing a new counter-narcotics Joint Task Force in the Caribbean Sea.

Hegseth said the task force’s aim would be to “crush the cartels, stop the poison and keep America safe. The message is clear: if you traffic drugs toward our shores, we will stop you cold.”

The task force is launching at the direction of President Donald Trump, he said, in the SOUTHCOM area, which covers the Caribbean and Latin America.

The Trump administration has aggressively targeted drug boats that were intended to traffic drugs into the United States. Numerous drug boats have been blown up to stop the flow of drugs into our country.

Russia accuses US of planning coup in Venezuela

Russian Ambassador to the UN Vassily Nebenzia has accused the US of plotting a coup in Venezuela under the guise of an anti-drug campaign.

Washington has deployed marines and warships off of Venezuela’s coast and has carried out airstrikes on alleged drug-smuggling vessels. At least four boats have been sunk, killing more than 21 people. Caracas condemned the move as a violation of its sovereignty and requested an emergency UN Security Council session, warning the operation sought to topple President Nicolas Maduro and threatened regional peace.

At the session on Friday, Nebenzia said Russia “strongly condemned” the US campaign, calling it “a flagrant violation of international law and human rights.”

“We are witnessing a brazen campaign of political, military, and psychological pressure on the government of an independent state with the sole purpose of changing a regime unfavorable to the US,” he stated, noting that the coup plot is being carried out “using the classic tools of color revolutions and hybrid wars” by “artificially fueling an atmosphere of confrontation.”
