The Truth on JFK’s Death Lies in the Weeds

As someone who has investigated and written for many years about the activities — some not very commendable — of the intelligence community, I feel it is important to acknowledge that not everything in this shadowy world is as nefarious as one might conclude.

It’s easier — and, truth be told, more satisfying and fun — to tar such institutions with a broad brush, but the reality is more complicated and more nuanced. In fact, that’s one of the guiding principles behind the journalism we practice at WhoWhatWhy.

And so it is with the JFK assassination records that have been released in fits and starts over the last quarter-century, with the latest, and purportedly final, batch out last December 15.

Co-founder of queer Indigenous artists’ collective in Wisconsin is unmasked as a WHITE woman – after claiming she was Native American and two-spirit

The co-founder of a queer Indigenous artists’ collective in Wisconsin who has claimed to be Native American is being accused of being a white woman and has since stepped down from her community positions.

Kay LeClaire, who also went by the name Nibiiwakamigkwe, also identifies as ‘two-spirit,’ which is a term many Indigenous people use to describe a non-binary gender identity.

LeClaire has allegedly been profiting from the identities of Indigenous peoples, according to hobbyist genealogist AdvancedSmite as reported by Madison365.

She has claimed Métis, Oneida, Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Cuban and Jewish heritage, but AdvancedSmite reportedly used online records and resources to find LeClaire’s true lineage – German, Swedish and French Canadian.

FDA Will No Longer Require Animal Tests Before Human Trials for All Drugs

Animal testing will no longer be a mandated part of the Food and Drug Administration’s approval process for all new drugs. Since 1938, pharmaceutical makers seeking FDA approval have had to successfully put their medications through multiple animals trials before proceeding to human tests.

Now, though, drug companies will have the option of either animal or non-animal tests—in a shift that animal rights groups and some pharma companies have long advocated for. Meanwhile, researchers’ reactions are mixed: Some say the move is unlikely to trigger immediate change, others are excited by the possibilities, while others still have safety concerns.

German Justice Minister Replaced For Being a White Male

The German Green Party has fired Justice Minister Dirk Adams, ostensibly for no other reason than him being male and white, and replaced him with an unqualified woman of African heritage.

Yes, really.

Adams was dismissed from his role in the German state of Thuringia, not because he had been caught engaged in any wrongdoing, but because of his gender and skin color.

“Adams will now be replaced by Afro-German Doreen Denstädt. Thuringia’s Minister-President Bodo Ramelow, of the Left Party, fired Adams, who was the Minister for Migration, Justice and Consumer Protection. The dismissal came about after the Green party directly requested him to be replaced by Denstädt, who has no law degree or political experience,” reports Remix News.

“Denstädt only served as a clerk in the police trust office in the Thuringian Ministry of the Interior. Her lack of experience in any real substantive role means her improbable career leap to her new position as justice minister for an entire German state appears to have been due to her skin color and gender.”

Adams had been in his position since March 2020 and expressed no desire to leave the role, but was asked to resign by party leadership so he could be replaced by a non-white person.

“In the current situation, out of responsibility to my ministry, I cannot comply with this request,” Adams wrote, adding that his department was in the middle of handling serious work and that party leaders would have to ask the state prime minister to fire him if they wanted him gone.

That duly happened and Adams was replaced for being pale, stale and male.

“When a minister has to go because he is a white man to be replaced by a black woman, that is open racism and gender discrimination,” said AfD politician, Beatrix von Storch.

The Greens celebrated ousting Adams by heralding it as a sign of the “importance that the topics of integration and migration have for us Alliance Greens.”

US government has received more than 360 new UFO reports

The US government has received 366 new reports of “unidentified aerial phenomena” — commonly known as UFOs or unidentified flying objects — since March 2021, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence noted in an unclassified report released Thursday.

The 11-page document noted that about half the sightings remain unexplained.

The new sightings are in addition to 144 reports during the previous 17 years, bringing the total to 510.

According to the report, “initial analysis and characterization of the 366 newly-identified reports, informed by a multi-agency process, judged more than half as exhibiting unremarkable characteristics.”

UK Doctors Have Doubled Antipsychotic Prescriptions To Children And Youth: Study

Despite the lack of evidence of the safety of antipsychotics in children, who are smaller in size and still rapidly developing, the number of prescriptions to English youth has doubled between 2000 to 2019, a study suggests.

The researchers from the University of Manchester examined over seven million children and adolescents aged three to 18.

They discovered that youth prescriptions of antipsychotics – drugs used to treat major mental illnesses, such as autism, schizophrenia, and ADHD – increased from 0.06 percent to 0.11 in the past two decades.

While the percentage is small, co-author and senior research fellow at the University of Manchester Matthias Pierce said that the higher prevalence of these disorders, as well as a growing trend to prescribe antipsychotics by clinicians, is concerning.

“However, [it] will help clinicians to evaluate the prescribing of antipsychotics to children more fully and will encourage them to consider better access to alternatives,” Pierce said.

Antipsychotics have been associated with long-term side effects, including sexual dysfunction, infertility, and weight gain leading to diabetes.

Pentagon Releases Annual Report on UFOs

A highly anticipated report on the Pentagon’s efforts to study UFOs has been released to the public and, sadly, it seems that the phenomenon remains as mysterious as ever. Meant to serve as an update to their preliminary assessment issued in June of 2021, the annual report on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) for 2022 provides an enlightening look at the progress that has been made by the DoD’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). Remarkably, they indicated that the group have received an additional 366 cases since their initial assessment, bringing the total number of UAP accounts collected by the office to a whopping 510.

In noting the increase in reports, the office seemed to indicate that this did not necessarily mean that there were suddenly more UFOs in the skies, but that witnesses are now encouraged to share their accounts “due to a concentrated effort to destigmatize the topic of UAP and instead recognize the potential risks that it poses.” Breaking down their investigation into the fresh batch of reports, the AARO revealed that their analysis “judged more than half as exhibiting unremarkable characteristics.” To that end, they explained that 26 were drones, a staggering 163 were “characterized as balloon or balloon-like entities,” and 6 were simply classified as “clutter.”

Previously Unknown Group Of People In Prehistoric Siberia Found By DNA

Genetic analysis has unveiled a previously unknown group of people who lived in Siberia during the last Ice Age around the borders of modern-day Russia, China, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan. It appears this mysterious group of people also had links to the multiple waves of humans who made the daring journey to North America.

By the looks of things, some people actually migrated back in the “opposite” direction from North America to North Asia via the Bering Sea. This ancient legacy of the Americas still lives on in some people currently living in northeastern Siberia.

To reach their findings, scientists led by the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology analyzed the genomes of ten individuals who lived in the Altai region of southern Siberia around 7,500 years ago. Paired with this, they looked at the genetic makeup of Eurasian and Native American populations in the present day.

Their data revealed the Altai hunter-gatherers had a “unique gene pool” that indicates they were descendants of two key groups that lived in this part of Eurasia at the time: the paleo-Siberians and the Ancient North Eurasian (ANE) people.

“We describe a previously unknown hunter-gatherer population in the Altai as early as 7,500 years old, which is a mixture between two distinct groups that lived in Siberia during the last Ice Age,” Cosimo Posth, senior study author from the University of Tübingen in Germany, said in a statement.

“The Altai hunter-gatherer group contributed to many contemporaneous and subsequent populations across North Asia, showing how great the mobility of those foraging communities was,” he added.
