New Biden Tapes Reveal Hur’s “Well-Meaning Elderly Man” Had An $8 Million Motive To Keep Classified Docs

Joe Biden kept classified material after leaving the vice presidency, knew what it was, and read it aloud to a civilian with no security clearance who was helping him write a book he was paid $8 million for. He said as much on tape, repeatedly, in 2016 and 2017. The Justice Department had those recordings and kept them from the public for two years – the same two years it was prosecuting Donald Trump for mishandling classified documents.

The recordings came out Monday night, released by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project after a FOIA fight that began in March 2024 and ran first against the Justice Department and then against Biden’s personal attorneys. Roughly three hours of audio and 117 pages of transcripts, drawn from the interviews Special Counsel Robert Hur obtained during his investigation into Biden’s handling of classified material. The Oversight Project says the complete set runs to about 70 hours and that further releases are coming.

Start with what is on them.

In an October 2016 session, recorded while he was still the sitting vice president, Biden tells ghostwriter Mark Lewis Zwonitzer: “I have extensive notes over this period of time… They didn’t even know I had this.“

In February 2017, a month after leaving office and living in a Virginia rental: “So this was – I, early on, in ’09 – I just found all of the classified stuff downstairs.” He then walks Zwonitzer through his 2009 argument against the Afghanistan troop surge.

Joe Biden Told Ghostwriter He Kept Classified Docs in His Home — Years Before His 2020 Campaign

Recently released tapes of former President Joe Biden’s conversations with the ghostwriter of his 2017 memoir reveal he admitted to retaining classified documents and already had notable memory issues.

The Oversight Project’s Mike Howell was the plaintiff in the case fighting for the release of the tapes, which Biden’s team has long fought against. However, the former president’s attorneys dropped their bid to prevent the release, resulting in the recordings and transcripts from his conversations with his ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer for the 2017 memoir, Promise Me, Dad being made public.

“We now know what has been long assumed: the autopen scandal extends far back beyond just when Joe Biden ‘ran’ for president from his basement,” Oversight Project President Mike Howell said in a statement. “These tapes have so many pauses and ‘ums’ that it sounds like Biden is buffering like a dial-up Internet connection.”

In total, there are 2 hours and 45 minutes of recordings and a heavily redacted transcript of the conversations, which showcase Biden’s poor memory and feature a variety of long pauses as he struggled to remember dates, order of events, and people.

“I think I went to that memorial service in Wilmington. It says [REDACTED] December the 4th, but I don’t — I know what this means. Memorial service — [REDACTED] gets names really f—ed up,” Biden said. “So it says memorial service for [REDACTED]. I don’t think her name was [REDACTED]. Or I forget [REDACTED].”

“I’ll think of his name,” Biden said in another part of the recording, adding, “I should write the names down because I keep forgetting them.”

He also openly discussed retaining classified information, even warning Zwonitzer at one point, “Some of this may be classified so be careful with it.”

He also said, “So this was, I early on, um, in ’09 I just found all the classified stuff downstairs.” In another section, Biden states, “The next thing I have here is, um, this is classified …”

This connects with the investigation by special counsel Robert Hur, who led the Biden classified documents investigation. As Breitbart News reported in 2024, “Hur’s investigation, which concluded in February, found Biden ‘willfully’ retained classified documents but [Hur] declined to prosecute him, citing ‘insufficient evidence.’”

Hur characterized Biden as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” At the time, Biden could not remember when he announced his candidacy, when he stopped serving as vice president, or when his son Beau died.

The Oversight Project noted that people should not overlook the number of redactions in the transcript, explaining that it indicates that Biden was revealing sensitive information.

“At several points in the tapes, Biden references the information he is reviewing is likely classified, which is followed by significant audio redactions for classified information,” Oversight Project said. “This was not just once or twice, these classified redactions cover significant portions of the audio files released.

“The listener shouldn’t overlook the audio redactions because those redactions are intended to cover the disclosure of classified information,” the group emphasized.

Who Caused Unaffordability?

Fear about “affordability” supposedly fueled the new, strident socialism.

Yet annual inflation during Biden’s four years averaged almost 5 percent. It peaked at over 9 percent, while prices for some key staples rose by 30 percent over his tenure—all to silence from the Left. (By contrast, annual inflation during Trump’s first term averaged 1.9 percent. In his second term, it averaged 2.6 percent in 2025—and may rise to 4.5 percent in 2026, given the war with Iran.)

The socialists were not just quiet during Biden’s four years; they were themselves responsible for the rampant Biden inflation. They had implemented an inflationary de facto third Obama term, ramming through the most radical and costly agenda in decades under the veneer of that cognitively challenged waxen effigy, good ol’ Joe Biden from Scranton.

So the current Jacobin takeover of the Democratic Party was not sparked by concerns about “affordability”—or at least not if by “affordability” we mean the middle-class struggle to buy a house, a car, or groceries.

Instead, the socialist moment was merely the logical culmination of years of boutique radicalism within the Democratic aristocracy—the ossified leadership of Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, and Hakeem Jeffries, along with the aging Black Caucus, the incoherent Squad, the DEI crowd, the open-border zealots, and the radical greens.

The grandees of the party also normalized the crazy mobs of BLM and Antifa long ago.

Democrats as Dr. Frankenstein

Almost every weaponized scam and national hysteria in the last two decades was amplified and spread by mainstream Democrats: the farcical claim that the Wuhan-lab-hatched COVID virus came from pangolins or bats; the Duke Lacrosse and Covington Kids hoaxes; the Jussie Smollett scam, the “Hands up, don’t shoot” lie; the deification of George Floyd, often portrayed with wings and a halo; Fauxcahontas Liz Warren, touted as the first Native American Harvard law professor (thanks to her grandfather’s high cheekbones); the radical diminution of in-person voting; the canonization of Trayvon Martin and Karmelo Anthony as blameless model children; and the mythology of a 1619 national founding.

Who allowed not just one, two, three, or four million border-jumpers into the country, but over ten million—illegal, unvetted, viewed as an assumed new political constituency, and instantaneously dependent on the welfare state?

Who gave us three, four, five, or even more genders and biological males showering with teenage girls or female prisoners? Who sloganeered about “defund the police” and “no cash bail”?

All this was about as radical as it gets.

The Democratic establishment’s unhinged hatred of Donald Trump mainstreamed radicalism even further and helped birth the socialist-cum-communist Frankensteinian monster that is now devouring its mad-scientist creators.

Fauci Diaries: Delusional Anthony Fauci Believed Attacks on Him Were a Rightwing Plot to ‘Destroy Democracy’

Attacks on Anthony Fauci were part of a right-wing plot to “destroy democracy,” former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) head Anthony Fauci mused in his personal diary released by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY).

When Fauci was not marveling over his rise to global fame or desperately reaching out to former President Barack Obama for PR help as his reputation sank to new depths, Fauci convinced himself that attacks against him were all part of an elaborate plot of the political right to “destroy democracy.”

In an October 3, 2021 entry, Fauci wrote that the country “is headed to or might already be in a constitutional crisis with the far right clearly indicating that they’re going to try and disrupt elections and essentially destroy the democracy.”

“The attacks on me I believe are all a tangential part of that process,” Fauci surmised, flattering himself in the process.

“I speak of the big lie of which I unfortunately have been drawn into being a target of the far right because I represent something that is antithetical to them, namely, the truth,” he continued.

It is a remarkable delusion, given that Fauci wrote in this same diary that the fatality rate of coronavirus was quite lower than what he was saying publicly.

He continued:

It is stunning how much time is consumed on warding off the egregious lies about the NIID grant that funded hey [sic] small project in the Wuhan institute of virology. They claim that we created the COVID virus. Among the scientist who fall into this trap are the usual suspects of Richard Ebright and David Relmann. However, Jesse Bloom has really surprised me claiming that a lab leak is highly probable when there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that a lab leak has occurred the only issue is that it occurred in a city that happened to have a laboratory that studies bats. Amazing that he has come to this conclusion.

That is yet another incredible claim given that — in this same diary — Fauci admitted that most of the scientists who participated in a January 2020 call “felt that deliberate insertion was possible.”

In an August 2021 entry, Fauci, again, went after conservatives, complaining that the “conspiracy of the far right and the Trump loyalists continues” against him.

“Recently representative Mike McCall the minority On the House Foreign Affairs Committee released a report by the panel’s republican staff essentially saying that the lab leak was the cause of COVID-19 and hinting the NIH’s role in creating the virus. This is based on no new information or no new data. It is very clear what is going on and it needs to be called out,” he penned, claiming it was part of the “Big Lie” before ranting about the sequence of so-called “lies” of the right.

“First, trump [sic] actually won the election; next, January 6th was a friendly visit to the capital book shop; next trump [sic] was right and China caused the virus; next Fauci and the NIH helped the Chinese create the virus; next, discredit Fauci and it looks like trump [sic] is telling the truth,” he wrote. “It is plain and simple a concerted effort aimed at getting trump [sic] re-elected and exonerating him from any blame in the complete mess up of his response to COVID-19.”

Notably, it was Fauci who bragged about persuading local leaders to shut down schools and businesses, pushing cloth masks (despite dismissing masks as a “paranoid tool” in 2019), and demonizing unvaccinated Americans while public health officials lied about the vaccine, as they originally asserted it would prevent transmission of the virus and stop the vaccinated from contracting it. Former President Joe Biden himself made these claims, which were wholly untrue.

Bombshell Report Exposes Lefty NGOs Funding A Children’s Charity Tied To Terror Network

After years of pro-Hamas protests and riots, including efforts by radical-left revolutionaries to blockade highways, bridges, and other economic chokepoints, as well as unrest across Ivy League campuses, investigators are finally examining the financial infrastructure behind the Marxist movement that increasingly appears less about Palestine and more about toppling the US empire.

At the center of the investigation is a left-wing nonprofit that may have served as a bridge, connecting major progressive foundations and revolutionary-left activist networks to organizations linked to foreign terrorist groups.

This revelation appeared in a bombshell new report by the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) and was first reported publicly by the New York Post.

NCRI claims that millions of dollars raised by the Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA) flowed through opaque funding channels to organizations with documented ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

Notably, the PFLP is a Marxist-Leninist Palestinian militant and political organization founded in 1967 by George Habash. The U.S. has designated it a Foreign Terrorist Organization since 1997 and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist since 2001.

Last summer, a rioter was seen wearing Hamas and PFLP paraphernalia as he stood in front of a burning Waymo in Los Angeles, California.

Nearly 400 Drones Target Moscow Overnight, With Zelensky In Washington Seeking To Sway Trump

Ukraine’s long-range drone attacks on Russian territory have long become a nightly thing (as have Russian drones and missiles on Ukraine territory), but it has become clear that these attack waves have grown in volume and effectiveness.

On Tuesday Russian officials are newly acknowledging another massive attack wave on the Moscow region, describing that nearly 400 drones were inbound on the capital overnight. 

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin indicated that 390 drones had been tracked by anti-air defense systems across the wider Moscow region since Monday night, but said that “most” of them were intercepted – with no forthcoming reports of casualties. 

One regional report cited some damage in residential and business areas, however:

In the village of Vaulovo, a private house caught fire in the “Dubrava” dacha community, and a dacha house was damaged in the “Romashkino” community in the village of Dubna. No one was injured.

A warehouse belonging to the logistics company 3PL caught fire in the village of Koledino in Podolsk, outside Moscow, following the attack, the independent Telegram channel Astra reported, citing photos and video from witnesses. A nearby Wildberries warehouse is operating “as normal,” the company reported.

Drones impacted other regions of Moscow, however, and left at least 19 people in the Belgorod region injured. The high rate of injuries was due to an intercity bus being struck.

Ukraine has continued targeting Wildberries warehouses and logistics hubs (the major Russian online retailer which is comparable to Amazon) – an escalating trend since July 18. So far nearly a dozen facilities have been hit across Moscow and the surrounding region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, Voronezh, Tambov, Krasnodar, Stavropol Krai, and Crimea..

Crimea meanwhile continues to struggle to keep the lights on and gas supplies available for the population. Regional reports say power was knocked out for the city of Feodosia overnight, after an electric substation was struck.

Ukraine’s President Zelensky has been highlighting the ‘success’ of the country’s drone capabilities to Western backers, and is expected to carry the same message to Washington this week.

Gov Beshear Calls on McConnell to “Directly and Verbally Address the People of Kentucky” or RESIGN After Latest ‘Proof of Life’ Photo

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear (D) on Tuesday called on Senator Mitch McConnell to “directly and verbally address the people of Kentucky” – or resign.

Beshear said McConnell must provide proof of his capacity to serve or resign.

“As Governor of the state you serve, I am calling on you to directly and verbally address the people of Kentucky and provide proof of your capacity to serve, or resign,” Beshear wrote in a letter, CNN first reported.

“Per our research, a vacancy in the Senate occurs when a senator dies, resigns, or is expelled by a vote of the Senate itself,” Beshear said.

“If you are unwilling to voluntarily show that you still have the capacity to serve, I will insist Leader Thune fully investigate your condition, report to the American people, and begin the process if warranted,” Beshear wrote.

The Governor’s letter comes after McConnell released his second ‘proof of life’ photo amid a 44-day absence from the Senate.

The latest photo is dated Sunday.

The bone density fraud: How a flawed test and toxic drugs created a multi-billion dollar medical myth

The medical screening that labels healthy aging as disease

A 65-year-old woman learns from a DEXA scan that her T-score is -2.3, labeling her osteopenic. She leaves with a bisphosphonate prescription, told it will strengthen her bones. What she won’t hear: her bone density is normal for her age. The T-score system was never meant for clinical diagnosis. And the drug—originally developed to soften water in orange grove irrigation systems—works by poisoning the cells that keep bones resilient.

How normal aging became a disease

In 1994, a WHO study group proposed diagnosing osteoporosis at 2.5 standard deviations below a healthy 30-year-old’s bone density, calling the cutoffs “somewhat arbitrary.” These criteria were intended only for research. But the meeting was funded by Rorer Foundation, Sandoz and SmithKline Beecham—companies that would profit immensely from turning aging into a treatable condition. Today, 52% of white women over 50 qualify as osteopenic, and 28% as osteoporotic. Only 20% have “normal” bones.

The toxic history of bisphosphonates

Bisphosphonates were first used to prevent calcium scale in irrigation pipes. They work by poisoning osteoclasts, the cells that break down old bone. After three to five years, bone density rises, but the bone is brittle—old, weak tissue accumulates beneath new growth. Fracture rates often increase. Side effects include intestinal perforation, liver and kidney damage, atrial fibrillation, spontaneous fractures and irreversible jawbone degeneration. The FDA warns of severe bone, joint and muscle pain that may never resolve.

What the data actually shows

The T-score does not predict fractures. A 2019 study of 3,700 adults found that only 16% of fractures in women and 15% in men were linked to low bone density. Nearly 73% of women and 94% of men who broke a bone had normal scans. In 1996, the Swedish Council on Technology Assessment concluded that bone density cannot identify fracture risk and recommended against screening. Yet 18 million Americans carry an osteopenia diagnosis. A 2014 study found that repeating DEXA scans after the first provided no useful information over eight years.

The real causes of bone loss

Bone health requires more than calcium. Weight-bearing exercise signals the body to maintain bone. Astronauts lose up to 10% of bone density in six months. Acid-blocking drugs (PPIs) increase hip fracture risk by 26%. Fluoride in water produces structurally inferior bone. Environmental toxins like BPA, lead and mercury inhibit bone formation. Even soda consumption raises fracture risk.

The safe path to strong bones

Magnesium activates vitamin D for calcium absorption; deficiency itself is a risk factor. Vitamin D with K2 increases bone strength and reduces fractures. Vitamin C supports bone formation at the genetic level. Strength training produces bone that bends rather than breaks—unlike bisphosphonates, which increase density at the cost of quality.

Reclaiming bone health from the marketing machine

The current osteoporosis approach is a marketing triumph. A drug designed for irrigation pipes became standard treatment. The T-score, known for decades to fail at predicting fractures, still drives overdiagnosis. But patients can reclaim bone health through nutrition and exercise. The question is whether medicine will treat the patient or the arbitrary number on a scan.

Senate Republicans Press New York Governor To Stop Blocking New England’s Natural Gas Supply 

Connecticut Senate Republicans are asking New York Gov. Kathy Hochul to reconsider policies that have limited natural gas pipeline expansion into New England, arguing that decisions made across the state line are contributing to higher energy costs in Connecticut. 

In a July 22 letter, seven Republican senators said Connecticut families and businesses continue to face some of the highest electricity and heating costs in the country while the region remains constrained in its access to natural gas.  

According to  U.S. Energy Information Administration data, Connecticut residential customers paid 27.37 cents per kilowatt-hour in May, nearly 49 percent above the national average.  

The rate fell sharply after a temporary public benefits credit took effect May 1, cutting residential bills by roughly 14 percent, but Eversource is now seeking a separate rate increase that could raise the average residential bill by as much as 18 percent beginning in July 2027 if state regulators approve the full request. 

“While Connecticut must continue to evaluate and improve its own energy policies, we cannot ignore the regional infrastructure constraints that contribute significantly to these costs,” the senators wrote. 

The letter was signed by Sens. Ryan Fazio (Greenwich), Jason Perillo (Shelton), Henri Martin (Bristol), Jeff Gordon (Woodstock), Heather Somers (Groton), Rob Sampson (Wolcott) and Paul Cicarella (North Haven). 

Sampson said the letter is intended to open a broader discussion over regional energy policy. “We are reaching out in good faith to Gov. Hochul to say, ‘Hey, residents and businesses in both our states are being absolutely crushed by electricity costs. So, let’s talk about solutions. Let’s work together to address the crisis and do something about it,’” Sampson said. “We hope Gov. Hochul views this as a respectful request. We look forward to productive dialogue. Without it, the burdens on families and businesses in both our states will only continue to grow.”

Republican Mayor Celebrates African Refugees As The “New Pioneers”

A Republican mayor in Utah is catching heat for turning the state’s traditional Pioneer Day into a celebration of African refugees, dubbing them the modern-day equivalents of the Mormon settlers who founded the Beehive State.

Provo Mayor Marsha Judkins posted an Instagram message this week praising African migrants who have resettled in Utah’s fourth-largest city.

Judkins said that Utahns mark Pioneer Day to “recognize those who journeyed west in search of religious freedom and the opportunity to build a better future free from persecution.”

Judkins’s message then took a woke turn, writing: “We also recognize members of our refugee community who embody that same pioneer spirit, leaving behind familiar homes to begin new lives in a place they had never seen before.”

“We encourage you to watch and learn from the experiences of refugees who now call Provo home and the enduring contributions they make every day, from strengthening local nonprofits to serving in the United States military,” the mayor’s message added. “Their stories inspire all of us to continue fostering a welcoming community where people of every background and experience can experience the promise of Provo.”

Pioneer Day traditionally honors the Mormon pioneers led by Brigham Young who settled Utah in the 1800s. Judkins’s post ignited a firestorm online as critics accused her of twisting the state’s history to push a progressive immigration message.
