Giffords’ Strange Definition of the Second Amendment

Several gun control organizations have shifted their messaging over the past couple of years in an attempt to prove they’re not out to eradicate the Second Amendment .Everytown for Gun Safety, for instance, is now offering gun training of a sort, though so far its more about teaching the basics of gun safety alongside a heaping portion of anti-gun rhetoric.

Giffords, whose founder told Time magazine that her goal was “no more guns,”, has GIFFORDS Gun Owners for Safety to serve as useful idiots for the group’s larger mission. And in the wake of the Alex Pretti shooting in Minneapolis, the organization is putting them front and center.

I actually agree with that statement. It’s too bad the actual comments from those gun owners for gun control don’t match up with the text of the post.

How does Giffords go from “Shall not be infringed” to “the right to legally possess a firearm in accordance with state law”?

It’s simple, really. By framing our right that way, they’re able to completely negate it. Carrying a gun in a state park when the state considers it a “sensitive place”? Well, then, you’re not a law-abiding gun owner. Have a 17-round magazine when the state says you can only have 10-round magazines? You’re not exercising your Second Amendment rights, according to Giffords. You’re simply breaking the law.

Carrying at a protest or public demonstration? Well, in Minnesota that’s legal. But if Pretti had been carrying his pistol in Peoria, Illinois, for example, he’d be violating state law. Would Giffords’ still have come to his defense in that case?

Hunter Biden Hits Back at Baby Mama Lunden Roberts in Court Filing, Says It Doesn’t Matter That He “Ghosted” His Daughter

Last week Hunter Biden’s baby mama, Lunden Roberts, asked an Arkansas judge to jail Hunter for failing to pay child support.

Roberts accused Hunter Biden of ghosting his daughter, Navy Joan Roberts.

Hunter Biden has a 7-year-old daughter, Navy Joan, with former DC stripper Lunden Roberts.

For years, Joe Biden refused to acknowledge Hunter Biden’s lovechild with Roberts.

In 2023, Lunden Roberts agreed to lower Hunter Biden’s $20,000 per month child support payments to $5,000 per month.

As part of the agreement, Hunter Biden was to meet his daughter, Navy Joan.

In last week’s court filing, Lunden Roberts told the judge that Hunter Biden has failed to follow through with his agreement to pay her $5,000 per month in support payments.

Additionally, Hunter Biden still has not met his daughter and his refusal to see her is causing emotional distress for the child.

Lunden Roberts asked the judge to “incarcerate” Hunter Biden until he complies with the court order.

This week Hunter Biden hit back at Lunden Roberts in a court filing and says it doesn’t matter that he “ghosted” his daughter.

After so many leftist hoaxes, it’s no wonder conservatives are questioning the Ilhan Omar attack

Racial division is easy news. Most Americans decry racism and hate crimes. It is one of the most unifying topics. Conservatives support the Constitution and the inherent human rights of American citizens. But in recent years, hate crime hoaxes have eroded trust in corporate mainstream reporting. Political theatre has become so theatrical that it’s difficult to know what’s real and what’s not anymore.

After years of false reports and massive mainstream hate crime hoaxes being discovered, connecting the dots displays an unbalanced number of democrats who emotionally manipulate the public by faking hate crimes for publicity. So it is no wonder that conservatives are now questioning a recent attack on an incredibly divisive political figure: Rep. Ilhan Omar, R-Minn.

Omar is currently under investigation for federal funding fraud, according to Resist The Mainstream. The Somali immigrant has been criticized for publicly speaking about putting Somalia before the United States, and The Center for Immigration Studies confirmed that her American citizenship may not be valid, as it is unclear whether or not she illegally married her brother to come to the U.S. and gain citizenship.

Mamdani’s NYC Socialist Experiment Ended Before It Began

Margaret Thatcher once characterized socialism by saying, “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.” The experience of Zohran Mamdani’s quixotic attempt to transform New York City into a socialist paradise, an oxymoron, demonstrates that Thatcher’s observation requires an addition: you also need the permission of the people paying for it.

In layman’s terms, like a child asking his mother for ice cream money, Mamdani asked Governor Hochul for permission, and she said “no.”

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s campaign promises face structural barriers that make implementation impossible. Under New York State Constitution Article XVI, NYC mayors cannot raise taxes independently. Only the state legislature can authorize local tax increases, requiring approval from both chambers and Governor Kathy Hochul.

During a PIX11 interview in early January 2026, Hochul stated that increasing taxes on wealthy New Yorkers is “completely off the table.” She pointed out that 1.5% of New Yorkers pay one-third of the state’s entire budget. She refuses to risk driving them out with higher taxes.

Mamdani proposed a 2-percentage-point increase on NYC income tax for those earning over $1 million, raising the rate from 3.9% to 5.9%, plus increasing corporate tax rates from 7.25% to 11.5%. His campaign estimated this would generate $4 billion annually. Without this revenue, his agenda collapses.

Hochul’s January 2026 $260 billion state budget includes no income tax increases and extends the 7.25% corporate tax rate for three more years, rejecting Mamdani’s proposed increase. While State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie and Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins have expressed openness to tax increases, Hochul faces her own 2026 re-election campaign and a primary challenge from Lt. Gov. Antonio Delgado.

Even if both legislative chambers pass tax increases, Hochul can veto the legislation. With her own election approaching, it is unlikely that she would take a radical decision that would alienate her wealthy donor base. Overriding a gubernatorial veto requires a two-thirds supermajority in both chambers, which Mamdani’s allies cannot achieve.

NYC Comptroller Mark Levine announced in mid-January 2026 that the city faces a $2.2 billion deficit for fiscal year 2026 and a $10.4 billion deficit for fiscal year 2027, totaling a cumulative gap of $12.6 billion. Levine blamed chronic underbudgeting by the Adams administration for rental assistance, overtime, shelter costs, public assistance, DOE due process cases, and MTA contributions, totaling $3.8 billion in unbudgeted expenses for FY2026 alone. He stated that the deficit was not caused by a bad economy but by budgeting decisions from the previous administration.

This is the first time since the Great Recession that the city faces a budget shortfall of this magnitude this late in the fiscal year. Mamdani’s first deputy mayor Dean Fuleihan stated the administration would only include new tax revenue if it were included in Hochul’s budget, which it was not.

With a severe revenue shortfall, Mamdani’s plans for free programs are unlikely to materialize. He has promised fare-free buses by eliminating the $2.90 fare on all MTA buses citywide, universal childcare, and state-funded “baby baskets” for every newborn containing formula, diapers, and postpartum supplies.

$50 Billion and 30K Dead People: HUD’s Turner Exposes Waste, Fraud and Abuse

HUD Secretary Scott Turner announced new policy changes aimed at restricting federal housing benefits to U.S. citizens, tightening oversight of taxpayer-funded programs, and addressing what he described as large-scale waste and payment errors within the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Turner said HUD has moved to block non-permanent residents from accessing FHA-insured mortgages, while also launching audits of public housing authorities to ensure federal housing dollars are not being used to support illegal aliens.

Yikes: This Threat to Kristi Noem From Hakeem Jeffries Isn’t Toning Down the Temperature at All

Democrats have been whipping up anger against President Donald Trump and his team throughout his two administrations, and they don’t care about what might occur as a result.

Even after the assassination attempts, even with Trump being shot in the ear and nearly having his head blown off, the Democrats still wouldn’t scale back their language. They’re still at an 11 on a 1-10 scale of danger. No, he’s not a fascist or a Nazi. What he is is a danger to their power, and that’s always been the real problem for them.

They’re doing it again with the anti-ICE mania. If you listen to the leftist discussion, ICE is Trump’s Gestapo, kidnapping people to concentration camps. Oh, and he’s going to use their rioting as an excuse to shut down the elections and seize power forever. They’re demonizing the enforcement of the law that Congress enacted. Yes, it’s nuts, but it’s their propaganda, and they’re falling for it.

That’s why, on Thursday, what House Minority Leader, Democratic Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8) said was so bad. He was railing against Department of Homeland Security head Kristi Noem, “She’s got to go!”

“We are dead serious!” Jeffries ranted. “She needs to be put on ice, permanently! She’s gotta go! And by the way, she’s not the only one.”

Yikes. That sounds like a threat, and not just to her.

Fox News’ Aishah Hasnie said Jeffries later addressed his word choice when called out on the obvious problem.

“She needs to be put on ice. It’s clear, right? That means gone. G-O-N-E. From her position. Don’t misinterpret anything that I’ve said,” he said. Yeah, no. You can’t say that before all the cameras, and then try to clean it up in a way that doesn’t even clean it up, and claim to speak against violence. This isn’t lowering the temperature, it’s ramping it up.

Democrats freaked out over Trump using the word “fight,” claiming that it was inciting, so it’s their rules. I’m tired of how they keep doing this.

This was also disgraceful, as he said Noem was responsible for “cutting down American lives in cold blood.”

Full known list of Alex Pretti’s battles with cops revealed before Minneapolis nurse was shot dead by DHS

Alex Pretti clashed at least twice with federal agents before one officer gunned him down, marking the second fatal shooting of a protestor in Minnesota this month.

A Border Patrol agent shot the 37-year-old intensive care nurse during a scuffle at an a January 24 rally against Donald Trump‘s immigration crackdown in Minneapolis.

It followed the fatal shooting of mother-of-three Renee Nicole Good by ICE agent Jonathan ‘Jon’ Ross in the same city on January 7.

In the weeks before the deadly shooting, Pretti had violent skirmishes with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on at least two occasions.

January 13

One clash came on January 13 when Pretti was shown on camera daring ICE agents who were carrying pepper spray to ‘soak me, motherf***er’.

The video shows Pretti shouting ‘f*** you!’ at the agents, before yelling: ‘What the f*** is wrong with you? Every decision you’ve made in your life is f***ing wrong!’

He also referred to one of the agents as a ‘pepper spray b****’ and ‘f***ing trash’ as the officers climbed into their SUVs to leave the premises.

US planning CIA foothold in post-Maduro Venezuela

The CIA is quietly working to establish a permanent US presence on the ground in Venezuela, spearheading the Trump administration’s plans to exert its newfound influence over the country’s future, according to multiple sources familiar with the planning.

Planning discussions between the CIA and State Department have centered around what the US footprint inside Venezuela will look like, both in the short and long term, after the dramatic capture of former President Nicolás Maduro earlier this month.

While the State Department will serve as the primary, long-term US diplomatic presence in the country, the Trump administration will likely lean heavily on the CIA to initiate that re-entry process due to the ongoing political transition and unstable security situation in Venezuela post-Maduro, the sources added.

“State plants the flag but CIA is really the influence,” one source familiar with the planning process told CNN, noting the agency’s near-term objectives include setting the stage for diplomatic efforts – including relationship building with locals – and providing security.

In the short term, US officials may operate out of a CIA annex, prior to the opening of an official embassy, allowing them to start making informal contact with members of different factions of Venezuela’s government as well as opposition figures and target third parties who may be threats, the source said, drawing a parallel to the agency’s work in Ukraine.

“Setting up an annex is priority number one. Before diplomatic channels the annex can help set up liaison channels, that will be with the Venezuelan intelligence and that will allow conversations that diplomats cannot have,” said a former US government official who engaged with the Venezuelans.

The CIA declined to comment.

US Media Keen on Iranian Unrest—Less So on US and Israel’s Role in It

When protests against high inflation swept Iran in late December, the usual international suspects wasted little time in endeavoring to hijack the unrest—which prompted a violent government crackdown—for their own purposes.

On January 10, Donald Trump—fresh off his abduction of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro—took to his preferred social media platform to showcase his signature manic reliance on random capitalization and exclamation points: “Iran is looking at FREEDOM, perhaps like never before. The USA stands ready to help!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP.” A few days later, another encouraging message: “Iranian Patriots, KEEP PROTESTING—TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS!!!… HELP IS ON ITS WAY.”

The protests have since dissipated, without any successful “help” thus far in the form of regime change or US/Israeli military attack, although Trump has dispatched a “massive fleet” to the Middle East “just in case.” The Iranian government, which blames the US and Israel for fueling the bloody upheaval, has put the death toll at 3,117 (Al Jazeera, 1/21/26), including state security personnel. The Canada-based International Centre for Human Rights—aptly described by prominent Mideast analyst Mouin Rabbani as a “faux human rights organization”—claims that no fewer than 43,000 Iranians were killed by government agents. In between those two extremes, all manner of other numbers have also been flung about.

Israel Replicating a Genocidal Mindset

On 29th of December 2025, The New York Times reprinted an article entitled, “At Last, a Name for the Face of a Nazi in an Iconic Holocaust Photo.”

The photo was taken on July 28, 1941, and here is how the article describes what the picture shows:

“One man kneels at the edge of a pit filled with bodies. He knows that, within moments, he will be dead. His drawn face burns with defiance. Behind him stands a uniformed, bespectacled Nazi soldier. In his extended right arm, the soldier holds a pistol, just inches from his victim’s skull. A crowd of other Germans stand watching, curious but undisturbed.”

The man about to be executed remains nameless and is guilty of nothing other than being Jewish. But who was the executioner? His identity is the revealing part of the story.

“The killer was Jakobus Onnen, 34, a former teacher [he taught languages, French and English as well as physical education] from the town of Tichelwarf, near the German border with the Netherlands.”

His identity was finally matched to other named photos identifying Onnen and attested to by living relatives.

It turns out that Onnen may be seen as an example of “well-educated, prosperous [German] professionals in early middle age” who were transformed into genocidal killers during the era of Nazi influence. How did this occur?

An explanation is offered by Dr. Christopher R. Browning in his 1992 book, Ordinary Men. This is a history of a German reserve police battalion and its role in genocidal violence carried out in 1942 Poland.

Brown argues that most of the men in this battalion did not begin as conscripted Nazi fanatics, rabid antisemites, or congenital killers. Instead they allowed themselves to be remade by “years of propaganda” absorbed within a community environment that “discouraged independent thought”[my italics].

The same environment encouraged “conformity, deference to authority, adaptation to new roles and responsibilities, and the altering of moral norms to justify the resulting actions.” In the end, they “perversely believed [murder] to be a professional obligation.”
