Russia’s Doctrine of “Peaceful Coexistence”. A Solution to Avoiding WWIII?

Introductory Note

The doctrine of peaceful coexistence was first formulated by Moscow in the wake of the 1918-1920 war against Soviet Russia.

It was presented to the Genoa Conference in April 1922.

The “unspoken” 1918-20 war against Russia (barely acknowledged by historians) was launched two months after the November 7, 1917 Revolution on January 12 1918.

It was an outright “NATO style” invasion consisting of  the deployment of more than 200,000 troops of which 11,000 were from the US, 59,000 from the UK. 15,000 from France.  Japan which was an Ally of Britain and America during World War I  dispatched 70,000 troops.

The article below entitled Genoa Revisted: Russia and Coexistence was written by my late father Evgeny Chossudovsky in April 1972 (in commemoration of the Genoa 1922 Conference). It was published by Foreign Affairs.

“Half a century ago, on April 10, 1922, Luigi Facta, Prime Minister of Italy, solemnly opened the International Economic Conference at Genoa.Lloyd George, the prime mover of the Conference, was among the first speakers. He called it “the greatest gathering of European nations which has ever assembled,” aimed at seeking in common “the best methods of restoring the shattered prosperity of this continent.” (See text below)

At the height of the Cold Warthe Foreign Affairs article was the object of a “constructive debate” in the corridors of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).  According to the NYT:

“Mr. [Evgeny] Chossudovsky wants a United Nations Decade of Peaceful Coexistence, a new Treaty Organization for European Security and Cooperation which would embrace all Europe, and comprehensive bilateral and multilateral cooperation in everything from production and trade to protection of health and environment and “strengthening of common cultural values.” …

Skeptics, of course, can point out that Mr. Chossudovsky’s argument; has lots of holes in it, not least in his strained efforts to prove that peaceful coexistence has always been Soviet policy. Nevertheless, he has made such a refreshing and needed contribution to the East‐West dialogue that it would be neither gracious nor appropriate to answer him with traditional types of debating ploys.

Unquestionably, East‐West cooperation in all the fields he mentions is very desirable, and so is East‐West cooperation in other fields he doesn’t mention such as space. And he is pushing an open door when he laments the colossal burdens of the arms race. (Harry Schwarz, The Chossudovsky Plan,  New York Times, March 20, 1972, emphasis added)

Did AI Almost Start World War III?

Recall that the Covid fiasco went into overdrive when Neil Ferguson of Imperial College London generated a wildly incorrect estimate of the fatality rate of the virus from China. He had two forecasts, one without lockdowns (death everywhere) and one with (not terrible). The idea was to inspire the replication of the CCP’s extreme methods of people control in the West.

That model, first shared in classified realms, flipped the narrative. Once select advisors – Deborah Birx and Anthony Fauci among them – presented it to Trump, he went from opposing lockdowns to getting in front of the seemingly inevitable.

Before long, every Gates-funded NGO was pushing more such models that proved the point. Masses of people observed the models as if they were an accurate reflection of reality. Major media reported on them daily.

As the fiasco dragged on, so did data fakery. The PCR tests were generating false positives, giving the impression of an unfolding calamity even though medically significant infections were highly limited. Infections and even exposures were redefined as cases, for the first time in epidemiological history. Then came the subsidized “deaths from Covid” that clearly generated waves of misclassification that underscore the overestimation of the fatality rate.

World War is on the Horizon

Have you noticed how the Trump-hating media is praising Trump to the high heavens for his gratuitous, reckless, military aggression against Iran, an act of war without a declaration?  This tells us something.  Trump has deserted MAGA-America and joined the ruling establishment.  In return the establishment is presenting their man as a great success.

The establishment now has Trump at war.  The power and profit of the military/security complex is secured.  Trump’s attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities was no more successful than Israel’s.  If Iran continues to hold together, Iran, if its government is competent, will use its missile advantage to continue to punish Israel. Within two weeks Israel could be out of missiles and forced to sue for peace.  But that time is unlikely to come. Israel’s plight and Israel’s control over the US government will bring Trump in to save Israel from humiliating defeat.

Remember, Iran is on the list of Muslim countries to be destroyed by the US for Israel.  Here is 4-star general Wesley Clark, former commander of NATO on TV explaining that on 20th September 2001 he was informed by a general in the Pentagon that the US had decided to take out 7 Muslim countries in 5 years. It has taken longer, but 5 of those countries have been destroyed.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eo6u9DpASp8

Norman Podhoretz, editor of Commentary had called for this action, and it became the essential component of the neoconservatives’ policy. We watched it, if we paid attention, unfold in the “Dubya,” Obama, Biden, and Trump regimes.

Iran’s parliament has voted to close the Strait of Hormuz except for oil delivery to China.  The final approval has to come from the Supreme Leader.  Iran should simply wait and let Washington close the Strait, allegedly to punish Iran by blocking oil sales, but really to punish China by denying China its oil supply. Iran should let Trump, who has sold out MEGA-America, and the American Establishment execute themselves.

If the Strait is closed, what would be the price of gasoline in the United States?  Could it be $8 a gallon?  Or would the Kremlin rush oil to the US to save Americans from the consequences of their own policy? The Kremlin often seems more concerned to rescue its enemies than to stand by its allies and to protect Russia.

Putin’s general calls for massive mobilisation as he declares ‘WW3 has already started’

Vladimir Putin general claimed today that World War 3 has already started following Israel’s strikes on Iranian soil on Thursday night. Maj-Gen Apti Alaudinov, 51, urged the Kremlin to carry out mass mobilisation of up to one million fresh troops.

In a message published on the social media platform Telegram on Friday, the deputy chief of the Russian armed forces’ main military-political directorate wrote: “We need to declare mobilisation.” Alaudinov, who is a prominent propagandist and the commander of the Chechnya-based Akhmat special forces, added: “We need to prepare at least half a million people in advance. But realistically one million people. We need to call them up and start preparing them for the fact that the war has already begun, which we already know is happening – World War 3. But it has already taken on a new turn and a new momentum.

“And so that no one dares to play with us the way they played with all the other countries, and now with Iran.

“Believe me, we all need to unite, unite, unite at all levels.”

Alaudinov has been closely involved with Russia’s effort to win back territory controlled by Ukraine in Kursk, the region partially captured by Kyiv’s troops in a daring advance in August last year.

He is also seen as a probable successor to pro-Putin Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov.

‘We’re already in World War III,’ says national security expert

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth recently warned that China poses an “imminent” threat to Taiwan and urged Asian allies to boost their defenses. The People’s Liberation Army is “rehearsing for the real deal,” said Hegseth at a security conference in Singapore.

For perspective on the dire prospects of war, WorldNetDaily interviewed national security expert and retired Army Lt. Col. Darin Gaub, who observed that experts have been talking about the “imminent” threat from China for many years. “I’m not discounting the possibility [of China invading Taiwan], but I’m also going to be realistic and say the Chinese military is not ready for that scale of conflict.”

Rather, said the former UH-60 Black Hawk pilot who spent time working strategic intelligence in the Pacific theater, the Chinese military’s “primary role is to police its own people, not necessarily invade foreign nations.”

While there is no formal treaty obligating the U.S. to defend Taiwan, there is enough legal basis through the Taiwan Relations Act for the U.S. to assist the small East Asian country against military threats from China. Thus, Gaub agreed, the U.S. would very likely support Taiwan’s efforts to deter the Chinese regime from the use of force to gain control of the archipelago.

And though some experts fear an escalation to World War III should America engage militarily, Gaub said, “We’re already in World War III.” The U.S., he explained, is long past concerns over an “imminent threat” from China, as America and most of the free world are already at war, minus any overtly hostile military action on the part of the Chinese Communist Party.

NATO forces in Ukraine could trigger World War III – Russia’s security chief

The deployment of foreign troops to Ukraine could lead to a clash between Russia and NATO, and ultimately to World War III, Sergey Shoigu, secretary of Russia’s National Security Council, has warned. The term “peacekeepers” is being used as a cover for the true objective of establishing control over Ukraine, according to the official.

The defense chiefs from a number of NATO member states – led by the UK and France – have been discussing the idea of positioning a “peacekeeping” force in Ukraine. They claim the troops would contribute to a “lasting peace” between Russia and Ukraine. Russia has rejected the deployment of NATO forces, or troops from members of the bloc under a “coalition of the willing” to Ukraine under any pretext.

In an interview published on Thursday by TASS, Shoigu, who previously served as Russia’s defense minister, stated that the presence of foreign “peacekeepers” on “Russia’s historic territories” could provoke a direct confrontation between Moscow and NATO, potentially escalating into a third world war. According to him, this risk is acknowledged by “reasonable politicians in Europe.”

The term “peacekeepers” is being used to mask the true objective of gaining control over Ukrainian territory and its resources, Shoigu believes. He argued that it would be more accurate to describe such a force as “invaders” or “occupiers.”

Germany wants the UK to hold its hand while it starts WWIII

Germany’s chancellor-in-waiting Friedrich Merz doesn’t officially take office until May 6, but that hasn’t stopped him from hitting the press circuit like it’s demolition day. Apparently, he’s got some lost time – and infrastructure – to make up for.

In a chat with Germany’s public broadcaster, ARD, he floated the idea that Kiev, which seems to rank higher than Berlin on his priority list, needs to “get ahead of the situation” on the battlefield and “shape events” instead of playing defense. The event he seems most eager to shape? Oh, just the Third World War, apparently. Because he pivoted straight to the Kerch Bridge – mainland Russia’s lifeline to the Crimean peninsula – like it’s been living on borrowed time.

Merz said that “if for example, the most important land connection between Russia and Crimea is destroyed, or if something happens on Crimea itself, where most of the Russian military logistics are located, then that would be an opportunity to bring this country strategically back into the picture finally.” Cool, cool. Which picture would that be, exactly? The one labeled “Catastrophic Misjudgments of the 21st Century”?

Probably. Which is why Merz needs a useful idiot to ride shotgun alongside him in the doltmobile to share in any responsibility for the eventual mayhem when things inevitably go pear-shaped.

Germany tells teachers to get children ready for WAR: Schools urged to give ‘greater focus’ to civil protection after EU told citizens to prep 72-hour survival kits amid growing WW3 threat

Germany‘s Interior Ministry has called for civil defence training in schools and is urging citizens to stockpile food, water and essentials in response to the deteriorating security situation in Europe and a growing WW3 threat.

The unprecedented move, confirmed in a statement to Handelsblatt newspaper, would see German schoolchildren taught how to respond in volatile war-like scenarios.

A ministry spokesman said civil protection ‘should be given greater focus, including in schools’, given the alarming recent geopolitical developments and expert testimonies that Russia could be ready to strike NATO territory within a few years.

Defence spokesperson Roderich Kiesewetter for the conservative CDU party said it was ‘absolutely necessary’ for schoolchildren to train for emergencies, calling them ‘especially vulnerable and particularly affected in an emergency’.

He is calling for mandatory basic training in disaster response, modelled on systems in Finland, which has been preparing citizens for the possibility of a war with Vladimir Putin‘s Russia for years.

Berlin says it even stands ready to provide all schools and teachers with national crisis materials via the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK) – and this is although technically education matters are something decided independently by each federal state.

The ministry also approved a new EU Commission initiative on wartime readiness, and recommended that all German citizens even prepare emergency supplies to last at least 72 hours as per recommendations from the European Union.

If Everything Is Going To Be Okay, Why Are The U.S. And The EU Feverishly Preparing For World War III?

If there is going to be peace in the Middle East, why has the Pentagon sent 25 percent of our entire fleet of B-2 stealth bombers to the region? And if there is going to be peace in Europe, why is the European Union telling all of their citizens to store up food and water for a war with Russia?  We keep being told that everything is going to be okay, but meanwhile western officials continue to make moves that indicate that more war is coming.

According to Newsweek, the United States has “significantly increased its military presence” in the Middle East during the past couple of weeks…

The U.S. has significantly increased its military presence in both the Gulf and Indian Ocean, deploying B-2 stealth bombers, cargo planes, and aerial refueling tankers, alongside key assets like the USS Carl Vinson and USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carriers.

I am particularly concerned about the deployment of highly advanced B-2 stealth bombers to the region.

It is being reported that “at least five” B-2 stealth bombers have been deployed to the island of Diego Garcia…

The US military has sent at least five B-2 Spirit stealth bombers to highly strategic island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

These heavy bombers can obliterate targets with their huge 25 tonne bomb payload per jet.

This means the US’s deadly fleet of five could carry an astounding 125 tonnes of bombs.

For those that do not know, Afghanistan was relentlessly bombed by U.S. air assets based in Diego Garcia during the invasion of that nation in 2001, and Iraq was relentlessly bombed by U.S. air assets based in Diego Garcia during the invasion of that nation in 2003.

Crazed Maniac Zelensky Keeps Pushing for WWIII – Brags that New Long Range Missiles Can Hit Moscow

Trump was right. You can’t make peace deals with Ukraine as long as Zelensky is calling the shots.

He can’t be trusted.

Zelensky came to America in early March to sign a minerals agreement and agree to a ceasefire as a first step towards peace with Russia.

But the entire signing ceremony blew up when Zelensky started acting squirrelly and reneged on his prior promises.

Democrat Senator Chris Murphy knew this was going to happen before the meeting even started with Trump.

This was not the first time Zelensky made promises with the US and then later backed out of the deal.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent later revealed in an exclusive interview with Laura Ingraham on The Ingraham Angle that this is the third time Zelensky has refused to sign a mineral agreement, leaving U.S. officials stunned.

Bessent, who has been instrumental in facilitating economic partnerships between the U.S. and Ukraine under President Trump’s administration, detailed how Zelensky’s erratic behavior has put critical negotiations in jeopardy.

The agreement, which would have secured billions in U.S. aid in exchange for access to Ukraine’s rare earth minerals, was expected to cement a stronger economic and strategic alliance between the two nations.

“This has to be one of the greatest diplomatic mishaps of all time by President Zelensky,” Bessent said about Zelensky during his interview.

Zelensky does not want peace.
