Another January 6 Falsehood: $30 Million in Damages to the Capitol

The U.S. Capitol Police on Monday morning conducted what it called a “routine” training exercise on the grounds of the Capitol. The stagecraft, almost five months to the day from the January 6 protest, involved emergency vehicles and helicopters. The agency warned area residents not to be “alarmed,” which of course was the exact reaction USCP wanted.

Call it insurrection theater. The USCP has acted as the Democratic Party’s stormtroopers since January 6, attacking peaceful Americans during the protest, lying about the death of officer Brian Sicknick, and now making officers available for embarrassing cable news hits where they share their hurt feelings and the permanent trauma they’ve suffered since enduring the supposedly harrowing ordeal. The distressed officers, however, seem just fine with the fact that a still-unidentified colleague shot and killed an unarmed woman, Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt.

Capitol-employed apparatchiks have played a key role in shaping the narrative about what happened on January 6, all in service to their Democratic paymasters.

The seat of American democracy, we are told, was attacked by bloodthirsty Trump-supporting thugs; not only did lawmakers and Vice President Mike Pence barely escape with their lives, the building suddenly transformed—in the eyes of congressional Democrats—from a house built by slaves representing America’s systemic racism to hallowed ground conceived by America’s founding fathers that was severely damaged and forever stained by alleged “insurrectionists.”

(Funny, it was only a short year ago in the aftermath of the George Floyd riots when Democratic lawmakers began removing statues in an effort to purge the building of its racist roots. “Their statues pay homage to hate, not heritage,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in July 2020.)

The four-hour disturbance, when a handful of people unquestionably acted badly and deserve to be punished accordingly, has been compared to the worst terror attacks in U.S. history, including 9/11 and Pearl Harbor. “The Capitol grounds, outside and inside, are essentially a crime scene,” acting U.S. Attorney for D.C. Michael Sherwin said during a January 12 press briefing. At the same presser, a top FBI official repeatedly referred to the “destruction” that occurred on January 6.

Jan. 6 video mystery: Senator asks about officer ‘gesturing toward’ doors as intruders file past

The top Republican on one of the Senate’s most powerful investigative panels says video footage from the Jan. 6 riot shows more than 300 people gained unauthorized access to the Capitol through a single doorway, and he is demanding answers from the police officers who were nearby.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.), the top Republican on the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, sent a letter late Thursday to U.S. Capitol Police Acting Chief Yogananda Pittman divulging the findings of his security footage review and asking whether the officers present during the episode have been interviewed.

“Have these officers filed detailed reports of this incident?” Johnson asked. “Has USCP conducted transcribed interviews with them? If so, I request copies of these reports and transcribed interviews. If not, I respectfully ask for the opportunity to interview these officers.”

The  Wisconsin lawmaker said the footage showed approximately 309 unauthorized people flowing into the Capitol building through the upper west terrace doors during a 14-minute span on Jan. 6. Since USCP estimated that at least 800 unauthorized people breached the building that day, this entry would be tied to as much as 38% of that total figure, he noted.

“At approximately 2:26 p.m. on January 6, a security camera showed a male inside the Capitol attempting to open one of the upper west terrace doors to exit the building,” Johnson wrote. “This unauthorized individual, who was by himself at the time, walked through a narrow hallway to the double doors and attempted to exit through the left door by pushing the door’s crash bar. The door did not open and the individual turned around and walked back through the hallway and away from the doors.

“Approximately seven minutes later, at 2:33 p.m., security footage showed five unauthorized individuals walking down the same hallway, past a police officer. The security footage, which did not include audio, appeared to show the police officer gesturing toward the doors as these individuals walked past him. Once at the double doors, one of the five individuals pushed the left door’s crash bar and this time, it opened. All five individuals exited the building at approximately 2:33 p.m.”

Johnson is asking Pittman several questions, some of which include whether she concurs with the assessment that about 309 people gained entry to the facility through those doors and whether USCP still thinks about 800 unauthorized people entered the building that day.

Fake-News Reuters Reports on Feds Seizing $90,000 from Antifa-BLM Organizer John Sullivan — Neglect to Report Most Important Facts

It really is stunning how dishonest the mainstream media has become.
We are at the point where you cannot trust a single item that they publish for mass consumption.

The US government has seized $90,000 from Utah BLM-Antifa organizer who sold footage of the Capitol riot to NBC and CNN.

John Sullivan was paid tens of thousands of dollars by fake news media outlets for his footage of the Capitol riot.

Sullivan wore MAGA gear and claimed to be an independent reporter but he was actually a left-wing insurgence leader encouraging violence and telling people to “burn” the building.

Reuters reported:

U.S. authorities have confiscated roughly $90,000 from a Utah man who sold footage of a woman being fatally shot during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol by supporters of former President Donald Trump, according to court filings.

Sullivan now faces a total of eight criminal counts, including weapons charges, related to the riot. Sullivan’s lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

According to the court filings, Sullivan portrayed himself as an independent journalist who was reporting on the chaos, but actually encouraged other participants to “burn” the building and engage in violence.

It is not until the last paragraph of the article that Reuters slips this in:

“According to media reports, Sullivan participated in Black Lives Matter protests last year. Other Black Lives Matter activists in his home state have disavowed him.”

Of course, this report by Reuters is deceptive and irresponsible on what it leaves out.

The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on Antifa-BLM organizer John Sullivan who dressed in Trump gear to enter the US Capitol and create havoc.

According to our earlier reports — with video– John Sullivan bragged about posing as a Trump supporter, broke a window in the US Capitol and organized two Antifa-BLM events near the US Capitol just hours before the US Capitol was breached.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reveals she’s in therapy following ‘attempted coup’ at Capitol

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says she is in therapy following the “all-out, attempted coup” at the Capitol on 6 January.

Speaking to the weekly public radio show Latino USA on Friday, Ms Ocasio-Cortez said members of Congress effectively “served in war” during the traumatising event that had “deeply affected lawmaking” and impacted the legislative process.

“After the 6th I took some time and it was really Ayanna Pressley when I explained to her what happened to me, like the day of, because I ran to her office and she was like, ‘you need to recognise trauma’,” Ms Ocasio-Cortez said.

“And I feel like I learned this the hard way after my father had passed away when I was a teenager… That happened at a young age and I locked it away. You have to live with it for years.”

Asked if she was in therapy, she replied: “Oh yeah, I’m doing therapy but also I’ve just slowed down. I think the Trump administration had a lot of us, especially Latino communities, in a very reactive mode.”

What Really Happened at the Capitol: Questions that Need Answers

On January 5th, a slew of vocal conservatives including myself, spoke to a sea of Patriots in Washington DC. We were optimistic that our massive presence there would lead to a national audit of the 2020 election, and that answers about all the election irregularities would lead to uncovering the complex and epic fraud to the rest of the masses. By the time I had arrived to the Capitol on January 6th, (in case you didn’t know, the Capitol was breached way before anyone listening to Trump speak could have possibly walked there in time) dozens of people were telling me that the police were just letting people in, if I wanted inside. I sensed a trap and knew the Left would like nothing more than to crucify me for something like that, and luckily I never did step foot inside. Everyone’s cell phone and data service was cut off for over a 1-2 mile radius, and there was no way to communicate with each other other than in person. By the end of it all, I ended up getting tear gassed for no discernible reason, while I stood on the grounds peacefully chanting and singing songs next to veterans, older people, people with dogs, and other regular non-threatening folks. Thanks, Capitol police.

Internet Sleuths Claim Two Newly Uncovered Videos From Jan 6th Reveal Who Shot Ashli Babbitt

One of the reasons that conspiracy theories and internet sleuthing are on the rise is because there’s a critical breakdown in trust between the public and the government.

That breakdown can be organic and it can also be manufactured. Either way, it breeds distrust, suspicion, and drives a frenetic need in the public to uncover the “truth.”

We saw that happen in 2016 with the left’s obsession over all things “Russia.”  Those conspiracy theories ran amok for four-plus years, and were fueled by political leaders and the mainstream media which convinced a large swath of the public that Vladimir Putin was secretly running the White House.

The left sincerely thought they were completely justified in what they believed — they felt distrust, disenfranchised, and out of control.

In the end their conspiracy was proven false, but to this day, many on the left are still wearing their tinfoil hats and pushing the Russia nonsense.

In all fairness, the right also engages in conspiracy theories as well — again, it’s human nature to distrust the “powers that be.”

And one incident that has sparked a lot of different theories and internet sleuthing is the melee that unfolded at the Capitol on January 6th.

That event has been marred by fake news, politicization, and has also been used by politicians as a weapon of mass control and destruction- and no, that’s not a “conspiracy theory,” it’s fact.

Early reports from “trusted” mainstream news sources claimed that Trump supporters beat a cop to death with a fire extinguisher.

That never happened, but if you spend any time on social media, you will see many people still pushing that lie. The same goes for calling it an “armed insurrection.” Trump supporters were not armed. The only people who had guns were Capitol Police. And to this date not a single person has been charged with the crime of insurrection.

However, those lies were the green light for Joe Biden to turn DC into a real-life version of the Hunger Games and unleash the power of his DOJ on “political dissenters.”

When in realty, the biggest tragedy that unfolded on January 6th was the shooting death of unarmed Trump Supporter Ashli Babbitt.

Many of the conspiracy theories surrounding January 6th revolve around her death — mainly because the government will not reveal the name of the man who shot her. By law, they don’t have to tell us who he is. Basically, “what happens on Capitol Hill, stays on Capitol Hill.”

They also decided not to charge him with her death, even though the Medical Examiner listed her cause of death as “homicide.”
