Lunatic Who Set Virginia City Councilman Lee Vogler on Fire Reveals Why He Tried to Kill Lawmaker

The deranged man who set Virginia City Councilman Lee Vogler on fire over the summer told police he tried to kill the lawmaker because he was having “an affair with his wife.”

In July, Danville, Virginia, City Councilman Lee Vogler was doused in gasoline and set on fire in his office.

According to reports, the attacker, identified as Shotsie Michael Buck Hayes, 29, of Danville, threw five gallons of gasoline on Vogler before setting him on fire.

At the time of the attack, Danville police said the attack appeared to be personal and not related to Vogler’s position as a city councilman.

The Daily Mail reported that Shotsie Michael Buck Hayes’ wife filed for divorce just two weeks ago.

Showcase Magazine’s Andrew Brooks said Shotsie Hayes forced his way in the magazine’s office as Vogler was visiting and poured a five-gallon container of gas on him.

“Lee attempted to flee, ran to the front of the building,” Showcase Magazine owner Andrew Brooks said in a Facebook video. “The individual followed him and set him on fire.”

Vogler was flown to the UNC burn unit in Chapel Hill, according to WSET.

Lee Vogler is reportedly still in the hospital recovering from severe burns to more than 60% of his body.

It was revealed in court on Tuesday that Shotsie Hayes attacked Vogler over his alleged affair.

Woke officials in tony DC suburb refused to charge trans sex offender who went ‘hunting’ for little girls, Virginia AG says

Virginia’s Attorney General is blasting woke county officials for refusing to arrest a sex offender who claimed to be a woman so he could walk into girls’ locker rooms — and said there was clear evidence he was “hunting” little girls at pools and water parks in the tony Washington, DC, suburb.

Richard Cox, a prolific 58-year-old registered sex offender, allegedly exposed himself to little girls and women in the girls’ locker rooms. He was also found with child pornography and a schedule of girls’ swim class schedules at Fairfax County rec centers on his phone, cops said.

However, in Fairfax County — where a Dem-majority board oversees the cops — authorities aid they have no plans to charge Cox for his visits to three rec centers there where children were present, WSET reported.

When he was finally arrested, it was in neighboring Arlington County — where Cox is facing charges for a laundry list of sex crimes.

Video obtained by WSET shows Cox, a biological male, entering women’s locker rooms at Fairfax County’s Oakmont, Audrey Moore, and Franconia rec centers last year.

LEAKED MEMO: Deep State Prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia Claim There Isn’t Enough Evidence to Convict Comey Amid Reports of Imminent Indictment

On Wednesday evening, disgruntled officials in the Eastern District of Virginia leaked contents of a memo explaining why charges should not be brought against James Comey.

As reported earlier, former FBI Director James Comey is expected to be indicted in the Eastern District of Virginia in the next few days.

Comey will reportedly be charged for lying to Congress in a 2020 testimony about whether he authorized leaks to the media.

Officials in the Eastern District of Virginia are still fighting to stop Comey from being charged after Trump fired US Attorney Erik Siebert.

President Trump last week fired Erik Siebert as the US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia because he refused to bring charges against Letitia James, Comey, Schiff and others.

On Saturday evening, President Trump announced that he had appointed Lindsey Halligan – his personal attorney who defended him against the Mar-a-Lago raid – as US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Now, with just days to go before the statute of limitations runs out to charge Comey for lying during a September 30, 2020 testimony, Lindsey Halligan is reportedly gearing up to indict Comey.

Prosecutors reportedly gave newly sworn-in Halligan a memo defending James Comey and explaining why charges should not brought against the fired FBI Director.

Virginia Democrat Gubernatorial Candidate Abigail Spanberger Gives NON-ANSWER When Asked About Boys in Girls’ Bathrooms

Abigail Spanberger, the Democrat who is running for governor of Virginia, was recently asked by a reporter if she supports the idea of boys who identify as girls being in girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms.

She could not answer. The answer she did give was a Kamala Harris style word-salad. When the reporter asks her to simply say whether or not she supports it, she ran away.

This is a political ‘Achilles’ heel’ for Democrats. They can’t say they fully support it because they know the public doesn’t, and they can’t say they don’t support it because they will alienate their own base voters.

Transcript via WJLA News:

Nick Minock: “As you know, there’s a battle playing out between the Trump administration’s U.S. Department of Education and five Northern Virginia school systems. The Trump administration is taking aim at their locker room and bathroom policies. They [the Trump administration] say those school systems are violating Title IX by having policies that allow students to use bathrooms and locker rooms based on their gender identity, not biological sex. So can you tell us directly, do you support biological males, who say they’re women, using women’s locker rooms and bathrooms and competing in women’s sports?”

Democratic candidate Abigail Spanberger: “The circumstance as this legal case plays out is really one of we’ve had court cases settled or judged here in Virginia in the fourth district, the former Gavin Grimm case related to bathroom usage. And in fact, the argument is the assessment is there needs to be much clearer guidance in terms of what is an executive order’s binding assessment of Title IX versus what has been a decision of a court.

Virginia Imam: ‘World a Better Place’ Without Charlie Kirk Who ‘Died Disrespecting Black People’

The world is “a better place” without Charlie Kirk, according to Virginia Imam Ismail Saleem, who accused the recently slain conservative activist of having died “disrespecting black people” and thus unworthy of sympathy, as he declared that the Turning Point USA founder is “getting what he deserves” and the grief of his supporters “makes me smile.”

In a Friday sermon in Norfolk, Virginia, Islamic preacher Ismail Saleem spoke to the congregation, slamming both Kirk and those expressing sympathy over his death, accusing mourners of misplaced morality.

“You see, the problem today is with empathy. And the problem that we see currently in these last couple of days is the empathy is for the family and friends of the racist person [Charlie Kirk],” he stated. “Does anybody hope that this man’s children grow up to be like him or continue his legacy and his work?”

“Some people empathize because they are not good people themselves,” he added.

In the clip, published by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), which specializes in monitoring sermons and media in Arabic and Islamic communities, Saleem’s comments escalate further.

“He died disrespecting black people, so I don’t care about him at all,” Saleem said. “The world is a better place without him.”

Saleem, who showed no remorse for his stance, doubled down on his reaction to Kirk’s death.

“He gets what he deserves — he’s getting what he deserves — right now,” he continued. “And it makes me smile. Their tears make me smile. Their anger makes me smile.”

The Norfolk mosque leader also attacked the notion of empathy toward Kirk’s family and friends, stating that many people are ignoring what he claims are far greater tragedies.

Evil Dem Connected to Virginia Gubernatorial Nominee Says Charlie Kirk Deserved to Die

Charlie Kirk, one of the most prominent conservative voices in America, was assassinated on September 10 while delivering a speech to students.

He was a husband, a young father, and the founder of the largest conservative student organization in the nation.

His murder should have been met with silence, mourning, or at the very least human decency. Instead, it was met with cruelty.

Only days after Kirk’s assassination, Jasmine Frye—a staffer tied to Virginia’s Democrat gubernatorial nominee Abigail Spanberger—took to social media to celebrate his death.

“F around and find out,” she wrote. “His entire brand was hate and violence. You attract what you preach.”

These are not the words of an anonymous agitator. Frye works inside Virginia politics, a state with national attention and one of the most competitive races in the country.

Spanberger is campaigning to govern more than 8.5 million people.

Yet her campaign has not condemned Frye’s remarks. Not a single word of disavowal. And in a moment like this, silence is not neutrality—it is complicity.

The claim that Kirk somehow “attracted” violence is false.

He was targeted for doing what he had done thousands of times before: speaking to young people on a college campus.

He was killed because he gave students an alternative to progressive ideology.

His so-called “brand,” as Frye dismissively labeled it, was built on empowering students, defending constitutional freedoms, and challenging institutional leftism. To suggest that such work makes someone deserving of assassination is to endorse political violence.

This is not an isolated case. We are watching a pattern develop where left-wing activists and even political staffers openly justify violence if the victims are conservative.

Campaign of Abigail Spanberger, the Democrat Running for Governor in Virginia, Creates Fake News Site to Promote Her Candidacy

Abigail Spanberger is the Democrat running for governor in Virginia. She was the leading candidate until about two weeks ago, when Republican Winsome Sears started catching up to her in the polls.

In an effort to boost her candidacy, Spanberger’s campaign has created a fake news website called the Commonwealth Courier, which shares positive news about Spanberger on social media sites.

The media has completely ignored this story, which should surprise no one.

David Strom writes at Hot Air:

VA Governor Candidate Spanberger Invents ‘News’ Site to Deceive Voters

Abigail Spanberger is the Democratic Party candidate for Governor in Virginia.

Automatically, that makes her suspect.

Pravda and the Democrats have promoted Spanberger as a moderate Democrat, whatever that means these days, although she tends to avoid discussing issues and is distancing herself from her radical voting record. There’s a lot of vague talk–something pretty common in politics, I admit–and lots of promises that utopia is just around the corner.

But to get an idea of what the real Spanberger is like, all you need to know can be summed up by one fact: her campaign has literally invented a fake news site to push the narrative that she is a different kind of Democrat, and that Republicans are the puppy and kitten killing party.

The “news” outlet is the Commonwealth Courier, which is a Facebook page that presents itself as a “Media/News” company. Only it isn’t a company at all. It is, in fact, an artificial creation of the Spanberger for Governor campaign.

The Commonwealth Courier doesn’t exist to get followers–it has very few–and I couldn’t even find a webpage for it. There is a “Commonwealth Couriers,” but they provide courier services, not fake news.

Tim Kaine’s Constitutional blasphemy

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) this week warned the American people that a Trump nominee for a State Department position was an extremist, cut from the same cloth as the Iranian mullahs and religious extremists.

Riley Barnes, nominated to serve as assistant secretary of State for democracy, human rights and labor, revealed his dangerous proclivities to Kaine in his opening statement when he said that “all men are created equal because our rights come from God, our creator; not from our laws, not from our governments.”

It was a line that should be familiar to any citizen — virtually ripped from the Declaration of Independence, our founding document that is about to celebrate its 250th anniversary.

Yet Kaine offered a very surprising response in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing.

“The notion that rights don’t come from laws and don’t come from the government, but come from the Creator — that’s what the Iranian government believes,” he said. “It’s a theocratic regime that bases its rule on Shia (sic) law and targets Sunnis, Bahá’ís, Jews, Christians, and other religious minorities. They do it because they believe that they understand what natural rights are from their Creator. So, the statement that our rights do not come from our laws or our governments is extremely troubling.”

The idea that laws “come from the government” is the basis of what is called “legal positivism,” which holds that the legitimacy and authority of laws are not based on God or natural law but rather legislation and court decisions.

The shocking moment Neo-Nazis gather at Arlington shopping center to commemorate assassinated leader with Nazi flag and salute

A small group of neo-Nazis held a ceremony outside a shopping mall, sparking a protest by angry neighbors in response.

The neo-Nazis, five men and one woman, were marking the 50th anniversary of the assassination of American Nazi Party founder George Lincoln Rockwell in Arlington, Virginia, around noon on Friday.

The small group fit into a single parking spot at the Dominion Hills Shopping Center, where 50 years previously, on August 25, 1967, a disgruntled fellow Nazi shot and killed Rockwell.

Matt Garcia, who was getting his hair cut at the shopping center when he saw the group assemble with their Nazi flag and wreath, took a picture of the small ceremony.

In the picture, one of the men holds the flag with a swastika emblazoned on it while the others held their arms up for a Nazi salute.

‘I was shocked and surprised. Definitely it was disturbing see,’ Garcia told WJLA.

‘First thing I noticed was the Nazi flag. After a minute or two I saw them doing the salute. That’s when I said, “You know what? Let me just take a picture of this just so I have it documented what’s going on”.’

Abigail Spanberger’s Running Mate in Virginia Has a Record of Smearing State’s Voters as Racists

Abigail Spanberger, the Democrat running for governor of Virginia this fall, has chosen as her running mate, a state senator named Ghazala Hashmi, a Muslim with a history of bashing Virginia voters as racists.

If you live in Virginia, prepare to hear a lot more about race if these two Democrats win. It will seem like old times.

It’s also worth noting that Hashmi helped kill legislation that would allow parents to know if their child identified as transgender while at school.

The Washington Free Beacon has the story:

Ghazala Hashmi, an Indian immigrant who became the first Muslim elected to Virginia’s state senate in 2019, has a long history of smearing the very voters she’ll need to win over as racist, misogynistic, and fascist, a Washington Free Beacon review of her record in public life found.

During an interview with University of Delaware professor Muqtedar Khan after the 2021 gubernatorial election titled,”What Went wrong for the Democrats in Virginia?” Hashmi appeared to agree with Khan’s assessment that a majority of Virginia voters are bigots.

Khan said Governor Glenn Youngkin’s (R.) victory in that year’s contest meant “the majority of voters in Virginia are racist, or at least susceptible to racist dog whistles.”

The election results, according to Khan, showed “the Republicans are winning because the electorate responds to racist dog whistles.”

Hashmi agreed, saying the racism of the Virginia electorate is “very disturbing.”

“What’s really disturbing to [minority groups in Virginia] is this idea that racism is so latent and so much a part of the society that people could respond to these kinds of flagrant dog whistles that we heard throughout the Youngkin campaign,” she said.
