A former Republican candidate for a New Mexico state House seat was sentenced Wednesday to 80 years behind bars after contracting gunmen to carry out drive-by shootings at the homes of Democratic officials after his election loss.

Solomon Peña was convicted of 13 felony charges earlier this year after he orchestrated the attacks in Albuquerque, New Mexico just weeks after his defeat in November 2022.

He had been charged with conspiracy, being a felon in possession of a firearm, four counts of intimidation and interference with federally protected activities, four counts of using or carrying a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence and three counts of solicitation to commit a crime of violence.

“The suspect then walks away from the location and places property in his pocket, then proceeds to film the rest of the events,” Commander Hennie said.

Cincinnati mob violence victim who goes by ‘Holly,’ blasted Democrat leaders for being soft on crime during a press conference with GOP Ohio Senator Bernie Moreno last Wednesday.

Man Gets ZERO Jail Time After Being Caught on Video Violently Beating Two Elderly Pro-Lifers

Earlier this year, Patrick Brice was found guilty of savagely beating two elderly pro-life activists, Mark Crosby, 73 and Dick Schaefer, 80, in May of 2023 outside a Planned Parenthood in Baltimore, Maryland. Video shows Brice kicking Crosby in the face and, as reported by the Baltimore Banner,  left him with a permanent eye injury.

On Thursday, Baltimore City Circuit Judge Yvette M. Bryant sentenced Brice to ZERO jail time and instead received one year of home detention and three years’ probation.

Video of the attack, shared by Baltimore Police, shows Brice engaged in a heated conversation with the activists before he turns and rushes Schaefer, whose back was turned, and  tackles him against a concrete planter and knocking him to the ground.

Brice then straddled the 80-year-old, who had his back to him, tackling him across a large concrete planter and knocking him to the ground.

When Crosby came to Schaefer’s aid, Brice then knocked Crosby off his feet, sending him to the pavement, straddled him, and began punching Crosby in the face.  Brice got off of the helpless victim, kicked him in the head, and walked away.

Why Are the Irish Media Ignoring an Apparent Islamist Knife Attack?

On July 29th 2025, a member of the Irish police (Garda Siochana) was attacked by Abdullah Khan, a second-generation Pakistani Muslim immigrant in Dublin city centre. Ireland’s state broadcaster, RTE, in the immediate aftermath of the knife attack was quick to assert that the attacker had Irish citizenry: “The man, who is an Irish citizen and born in Ireland, can be questioned for up to 24 hours.”

However, those of us of a more cynical disposition across these islands have noticed in recent years that when the media rush to assert the Irish or British identity of a violent criminal, it usually signifies he’s from a non-European ethnic minority background. If last week’s Dublin knife attacker had been an indigenous Irish man, we wouldn’t have been informed of what passport he’s entitled to or where he was born. Similarly, the Welsh choirboy status of the Southport murderer Axel Rudakubana would never have been immediately asserted had he been a Welsh choirboy. Unfortunately for Ireland’s biased liberal-Left media and political establishment, there’s a thing called reality that people can now record on smartphones and see with their own eyes. So, as footage emerged online of last week’s knife attack, people noticed that the perpetrator wasn’t ethnically Irish and they pointed this out on social media. The media and police response was to accuse the people who noticed that the man wasn’t ethnically Irish of spreading misinformation.

Six suspects indicted on assault, aggravated riot charges over brutal Cincinnati mob beating

Six suspects have been indicted on charges related to a violent attack on two people in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, that occurred late July. The six suspects are facing eight charges each: three counts of felonious assault, three counts of assault, and two counts of aggravated riot.

If convicted on all counts, each suspect faces nearly 30 years in prison, per WLWT5. In announcing the indictments, Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich said, “What I saw on video is not the Cincinnati I know and love. These charges hold those involved in the attack accountable.”

Five suspects have made appearances in court so far: Aisha Devaughn, 25; Dominique Kittle, 37; Jermaine Matthews, 39; Montianez Merriweather, 34; and Dekyra Vernon, 24. A sixth suspect, 38-year-old Patrick Rosemond, was arrested in Fulton County, Georgia, on Monday, and is accused of hitting the female victim named Holly

Photos shared of Holly, who had gone up to a man who was being attacked by a group in the early hours of July 26 to check on him when she was beaten and knocked unconscious, showed the woman with large black eyes and other injuries to her face.

The Hamilton County Association of Chiefs of Police has said that it will hold a roundtable discussion with court members, elected officials, and other justice system partners on ways to strengthen public safety, including the impacts of current bail reform policies, and promoting consistent sentencing to deter repeat offenders, in order to strengthen public confidence in the judicial system.

“This collaborative effort reflects a shared commitment to improving outcomes for all who live and work in our communities,” the group said in a statement, adding that “We must have the ability to see exactly how criminal sentences are being imposed, how bonds are being set, and which judges are making these decisions from the bench.”

In a statement Friday, the NAACP criticized the incident, saying, “The brawl was broadcast on social media which has overwhelmingly cast a shadow of negativity upon an otherwise incredible array of events in which the citizens and visitors who were hosted had an opportunity to partake. The Music Festival should not be blamed for this avoidable act.”

“It appears that a lot of bad decisions were made by various people, and as such, we ask that a thorough investigation by local law enforcement officials be permitted to be fully conducted to allow all persons involved to be given their day in court. However, we are extremely concerned that video footage appears to have been used to bring potential participants in the brawl to face consequences and not the individual who appears to have been the verbal and physical initiator of the incident.”

Patrick Joseph White named as shooter who opened fire on CDC and killed cop ‘after suffering COVID vaccine injury’

The gunman who opened fire on the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta Friday and killed a police officer has been identified as 30-year-old Patrick Joseph White.

CNN reported that the family of the 30-year-old who had spoken with law enforcement said he blamed a recent illness on the Covid-19 vaccine, which was pushed by the CDC.

White, from Kennesaw, Georgia, was formally identified Saturday as the shooter by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

‘There is extensive evidence to collect due to the complex scene,’ a statement from the bureau noted. ‘Numerous interviews are being conducted. This investigation will take an extended period of time.’

Law enforcement had said on Friday that the gunman died in the shooting after a firefight with cops. It is unclear if he was shot by officers or committed suicide.

During the shooting, Police Officer David Rose, 33, a father-of-two, was killed at the CDC Buildings near Emory University.

The shooter was armed with a long gun, and authorities recovered three other firearms at the scene, a law enforcement source told the Associated Press.

Bodycam Footage Released in Viral Cincinnati Mob Beating as Six Suspects Face New Charges

Newly released body camera footage shows police arriving at the scene of a violent downtown Cincinnati beating that left six people injured and resulted in six arrests, as reported by The New York Post.

The incident occurred around 3:25 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, at the corner of Fourth and Elm streets, following what witnesses described as an altercation outside a bar and nearby food truck.

The footage, released by the Cincinnati Police Department, shows officers speaking with an injured 62-year-old man who told police:

“I was attacked. I got attacked by multiple people.”

When asked what led to the fight, the man responded, “Don’t really know… it just got out of the bar and it just got crazy.” He added, “I got side-punched. It wasn’t a fair fight at all.”

Another bodycam video captures a female officer asking if the argument was “about wings.” Witnesses said the dispute began at a food truck. One man claimed he heard a racial slur used before the fight escalated.

DC crime eclipses Latin American capitals as Trump weighs federalizing the district

President Donald Trump’s threat to federalize Washington, D.C., should it fail to effectively deal with violent crime, comes as the city’s crime statistics show the American capital is less safe than many of the major cities of Latin America.

Washington, D.C., recorded 187 homicides in 2024 in a population of roughly 702,000. That total represents a murder rate of 26.6 per 100,000. That figure marked a 32% drop from 2023’s 274, when the rate was roughly 41 per 100,000.

Data from the Heritage Foundation shows that in 2023, D.C. had a homicide rate of 40.9 homicides per 100,000 residents and ranked fourth worst in the nation, behind only New Orleans (53.8), St. Louis (53.7), and Detroit (40.9).

“If D.C. were a state, it would have the highest homicide rate of any state in the United States,” the conservative think-tank added.

By way of comparison, the 2023 rate for Mexico City stood at about 8 per 100,000. Bogota, Colombia boasted a rate of 14 per 100,000 in 2023. Quito, Ecuador boasted a rate of 45 per 100,000, just slightly higher than D.C. in that year.

Cincinnati Mob Violence Victim Holly Slams Democrat Leaders For Being Soft on Crime, Says Her Doctors Are “Shocked” She Didn’t Die

Cincinnati mob violence victim who goes by ‘Holly,’ blasted Democrat leaders for being soft on crime during a press conference with GOP Ohio Senator Bernie Moreno on Wednesday.

Earlier this week Holly said she is suffering “very bad” brain trauma after the horrific attack by a mostly black mob at a jazz festival last weekend.

A white man was brutally beaten and stomped on by a violent gang of black suspects. When Holly ran to the victim’s aid, she was also beaten and knocked out.

Six people have been charged so far in the violent attack.

The FBI and the Justice Department’s Civil Rights division are investigating the incident.

“Our streets are being taken over and nobody is doing anything! I am so sad, and I need to be a voice for all of the victims that never got their justice,” Holly said.

Holly said the thug who attacked her should have never been on the streets.

“He had just gotten out of jail previously for something he should have been in there for years,” she said. “It’s really sad to me because I can’t even fathom how many other people who have been attacked by the same type of man over and over and over.”

“The biggest thing that I think really upsets me is the desensitization of humans where there’s a brutal attack, and they all think, ‘oh, cool. Let me get my phone and record it,’” Holly said.

“I truly hope that in the future, there’s some sort of bill to where somebody has to be prosecuted or at least fined if they don’t call 911 to save someone’s life,” she added.

Ex-DOGE staffer nicknamed ‘Big Balls’ left bloodied after savage DC carjacking attempt by 10 juveniles

A 19-year-old former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) staffer was beaten and bloodied by a mob of 10 minors early Sunday as he thwarted a carjacking attempt in the nation’s capital, according to DC police.

Edward Coristine, whose LinkedIn handle earned him the nickname “Big Balls” at DOGE, was with a woman near downtown DC when he saw the group of juveniles approach their car and “make a comment about taking the vehicle,” according to a Metropolitan Police Department incident report obtained by The Post.

“At that point, for her safety, [Coristine] pushed his significant other … into the vehicle and turned to deal with the suspects,” the dramatic report continues.

“The suspects then began to assault [Coristine],” the ex-DOGE staffer told officers, who rolled up on the scene at the same time he was being attacked.

Officers patrolling the 1400 block of Swann Street NW — a popular area with several shops, bars and restaurants about a mile north of the White House — noticed “a group of approximately ten juveniles surrounding the complainants’ vehicle and assaulting [Coristine],” the report states.
