State Department Held Taxpayer-Funded “Therapy and Listening Sessions” for Grieving Employees After Trump Stomped Kamala on Election Night

Your tax dollars at work…

The State Department held taxpayer-funded “therapy and listening sessions” for grieving employees after Donald Trump curb-stomped Kamala Harris on Election Night.

The fragile daisies were having a hard time coping with a second Trump term.

Maybe Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy should start their downsizing with the employees at State.

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) fired off a letter to Secretary of State Blinken demanding answers about this prime example of government waste.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, at least two therapy sessions were held at the State Department in the wake of this month’s landslide Republican victory.

One of the sessions was described as a “cry session” over Donald Trump’s win and Kamala’s predictable loss.

Darrell Issa questioned SOS Blinken on the delicate flowers at State.

“It is disturbing that ostensibly nonpartisan government officials would suffer a personal meltdown over the results of a free and fair election, something the United States champions around the world,” Issa wrote to outgoing Secretary of State Antony Blinken. “It is unacceptable that the Department accommodates this behavior and subsidizes it with taxpayer dollars.”

“The mental health of our foreign service personnel is important,” he continued, “but the Department has no obligation to indulge and promote the leftist political predilections of its employees and soothe their frayed nerves because of the good-faith votes of—and at the personal expense of—the American taxpayers.”

Denver mayor threatens to deploy cops, 50K residents in ‘Tiananmen Square moment’ to stop Trump’s mass deportations

Denver’s mayor has vowed to shield migrants in his sanctuary city from mass deportation by using local cops and 50,000 residents “stationed at the county line” — calling it a “Tiananmen Square moment.”

“More than us having [federal agents] stationed at the county line to keep them out, you would have 50,000 Denverites there,” Democratic Mayor Mike Johnston recently told the outlet Denverite — after President-elect Donald Trump vowed to undertake mass deportations of illegal migrants across the US.

“It’s like the Tiananmen Square moment … right?” said Johnston, referring to the famous caught-on-video showdown between a Chinese student and government tank in Tiananmen Square in China during the 1989 rebellion there.

“You’d have every one of those Highland moms who came out for the migrants. And you do not want to mess with them,” the mayor said of Denver residents apparently prepared to go to the mat against the federal government.

Roughly 40,000 migrants have flocked to the Mile High City since December 2022 — the largest number of new arrivals per capita across the nation.

Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes: Business Receives Backlash After Refusing to Serve Trump Supporters

At times, it can feel like the country is only concerned about all things red and blue, but if you’re a business owner, you’re typically only worried about another color: green (despite what Whoopi Goldberg says). However, one woman in Tennessee broke that unspoken rule and decided she only wanted to work with people who supported her own political views. The backlash came so fast and furiously that she had to shut down her business.

49-year-old Kristin Wolter of Memphis is the owner of the florist shop Everbloom Designs in Memphis, Tenn. In a video posted on social media, she announced after Election Day that she was changing her business policies. “I won’t do business with people who support the president-elect, and it is because I need to create a safe place for me, my staff, and my family,” Wolter said.

According to NewsMax’s Todd Starnes, Wolter also said she was “triggered” by the election results and couldn’t believe her “community chose financial concerns and economy over human rights and decency.”

Apparently, Wolter received such harsh backlash online and in person that she made her social media accounts private and shut down her shop temporarily. According to KWAM News Radio 900, she posted a note on the shop door that stated, “I knew standing up for what I believe in would have consequences. I am so grateful to those of you that have supported me in this. They are showing their true colors and lack of decency and humanity.”

Mentally Deranged Washington Post Columnist Jen Rubin: ‘Republicans Want to Kill Your Kids’

Jen Rubin, a columnist for the Washington Post, has truly lost her mind.

This has been building for several years now. The 2016 election of Donald Trump broke her mind and since then, instead of finally coming to her senses, she has gotten progressively worse. This goes beyond Trump Derangement Syndrome. This woman obviously has serious mental health issues but for some reason, is still employed by the Post.

Rubin was recently doing some sort of podcast type of broadcast, and while offering political advice to the left, suggested saying that Republicans want to kill your kids, which she then tried to explain as factually true.

RedState has details:

The Post’s top editorialist kicked off the latest episode by ranting about President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet picks, referring to them as “a batch of clowns and freaks.”

She then proceeded to claim the throne of Queen of the clowns and freaks, urging the media to “mak(e) it clear to ordinary voters” how badly they’ve screwed up by putting Trump back in the White House.

“For people who don’t get political news, who never pick up a newspaper, who never turn on CNN, who never even bother with Fox News,” she said of those she views as ignorant. “Those people really have no idea what’s going on, and that means we have to bend over backward – not to suck up to these people, not to make excuses for them – but at least to communicate the basic facts.”…

“It’s that simple. You can’t talk broad themes. You have to boil it down to nuts and bolts, and you have to be pithy. What do I mean by pithy?” she asked. “How about this – Republicans want to kill your kids. It’s actually true.”

Florida FEMA scandal exposes unaccountable bureaucracy that Trump targets for reform and cuts

An emergency response official’s decision to withhold vital assistance to hurricane victims that showed visible support for Republicans is a scandal that belies a larger issue, namely, an unaccountable federal bureaucracy left to police itself and which President-elect Donald Trump has eyed for reform and cuts.

The concerns were raised by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer in a hearing on the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s response to the dual crises of Hurricanes Helene and Milton that struck Florida and the wider Southeast earlier this year.

“While today’s hearing will focus on FEMA, the issue at hand is part of a larger problem: the urgent need to hold the unelected, unaccountable federal workforce accountable to the American people and to the duly elected President of the United States,” Comer said in his opening statement.

“The current system does not have strong enough mechanisms to ensure accountability. The disciplinary system is run by and for civil servants to protect civil servants,” he continued.

The hearing followed reports that during the hurricane response in Florida, one FEMA official instructed subordinates to bypass houses that displayed pro-Trump signs in Lake Placid, Florida, while they were canvassing to deliver assistance to the hurricane-stricken community.

At least 20 houses were reportedly skipped under the guidance, and therefore were not given the opportunity to qualify for FEMA assistance, Just the News reported.

“I was simply following orders”

The FEMA official responsible, Marn’i Washington was terminated shortly after the public reports emerged of her conduct, but Comer says the accountability came too late, only after the conduct was exposed by reporting from the Daily Wire. For her part, Washington told NewsNation‘s Dan Abrams that “Firstly, I’m being framed,” said Washington. “There’s no violation of the Hatch Act. I was simply following orders.”

Ex-security adviser accuses Biden of trying to ‘sabotage’ Trump’s effort to end Russia-Ukraine war

Aformer top security aide to Donald Trump on Monday accused the Biden administration of trying to intentionally “sabotage” the President-elect’s efforts to bring an end to the Russian war against Ukraine.

Former National Security Council chief of staff Fred Fleitz said President Joe Biden was repeatedly unwilling to authorize Ukraine to use U.S.-made missiles to strike deep inside Russia before the election, and his lame-duck decision this weekend to authorize it now smacks of an effort to thwart Trump’s effort to create a ceasefire and peace deal.

“The timing is really curious, because Biden was reluctant to do this before the election, because he was worried he would escalate the war. He would take a lot of criticism for possibly escalating the war,” Fleitz told the John Solomon Reports podcast. “And now that the election is over, he’s made this decision, which Putin has said is a red line and could put Russia at war with the United States.

“I don’t think this is an effort to give Ukraine leverage in negotiations with Russia, because it’s going to make the war worse,” he added. “I think this is a deliberate attempt by Joe Biden to sabotage President Trump’s efforts to negotiate a ceasefire.”

On Trump Derangement Syndrome

Long before Covid arrived, I’d joked with friends that if President Trump discovered the cure for cancer, his detractors would rather forgo the treatment than acknowledge he’d done something of value for humanity. It’s probably an inevitable outcome of America’s two-party system that any president may become the object of hyperbolic loathing. In the nineties, Republicans obsessed about President Clinton’s faults, real and perceived. In 2003, the columnist and psychiatrist Charles Krauthammer coined the expression Bush Derangement Syndrome as “the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency—nay—the very existence of George W. Bush.”

During the first presidency of Donald J. Trump this syndrome became so virulent that it created a strangely binary posture in public affairs. If Trump expressed even mild enthusiasm for a policy, person, or thing, his opposition automatically rejected it. To be sure, Trump often threw gasoline on the fire with his bombastic personal style and occasional buffoonery. The qualities that had once been viewed as showman’s schtick were widely deemed unacceptable in a US President. The court jester had become king, and it drove the lords and ladies at court mad.

As anthropologists and psychologists have long understood, humans are hyper social and tribal. Stanford Professor Rene Girard has pointed out that during times of stress and rivalry, we are inclined to ascribe blame not to a complex state of affairs, but to a particular person or group. Persistent problems and misfortunes build up negative psychic energy, which generates a collective yearning to destroy the person or persons on whom the blame is heaped. This process of scapegoating is amplified by what Professor Girard called mimesis—that is, imitation—the tendency to embrace an opinion or sentiment because everyone in a preferred group is embracing it. In trying to make sense of the world, we often look to those around us for cues to guide us in our perceptions and opinions.

With Trump’s reelection, we can expect to see Trump Derangement Syndrome reach a fever pitch, with large numbers of people suffering a mental breakdown akin to that of Commissioner Charles LaRousse Dreyfus in the Pink Panther series. Instead of ignoring or laughing at Inspector Clouseau’s foibles, Commissioner Dreyfus takes them personally. In his mind, Clouseau becomes inextricably linked with all of the folly and disasters that afflict humanity. As he sees it, everything that goes wrong in his life and in the city of Paris seem to originate in the actions of Clouseau. To add insult to injury, despite Clouseau’s spectacular bumbling and preposterous theories about major crime cases, he is often proven right, which deeply wounds Dreyfus’s vanity.

At the same time, Clouseau is strangely ineradicable. Dreyfus simply cannot get rid of him, and it drives the commissioner to distraction that culminates in him trying to destroy the world. The following compilation reveals Dreyfus’s nightmarish descent into Clouseau Derangement Syndrome.

Angry Leftists Plot to Tank Trump Economy by Not Spending Any Money Once He’s in Office

Some leftists are so spiteful over the outcome of the election that they’re planning to not spend any money once Trump is sworn in as president.

Most people are expecting the economy to improve under Trump and these people don’t want that to happen, or at least don’t want Trump to get any credit for it.

They would rather that people remain miserable than see Trump and the country do well.

Breitbart News reports:

Leftists Pledge to Load Up on Supplies Before Biden Leaves Office, Buy Nothing ‘for the Next Four Years’ to Tank Trump Economy

Leftists have a master plan to ensure that President-elect Donald Trump’s economy tanks: They are not going to buy anything.

Leftists across the country are still reeling from Trump’s historic comeback victory, which saw him sweeping all seven swing states, garnering 312 electoral votes and also winning the popular vote after making historic gains in traditionally blue areas.

There was a sizable shift in the electorate and a clear mandate for change, but some leftists ardently disagree and have a plan to tank what everyone anticipates to be a strong economy under Trump’s leadership.

“Trump will not have a good economy because we don’t have to let him. I myself plan on paying my bills and saving every penny beyond that. I will not contribute to this economy in any other way,” one leftist X account with the handle @PrezLives2022 said to 127.1K followers, previewing plans to strategically purchase clothing “before he takes office and make sure I have everything I need for the next four years.”

DISTURBING: Radical Trump-Hater Who Supports Communist Antifa Allegedly Unmasked as Secret Service Agent – Agency Launches Investigation

Another shocking allegation involving the Secret Service could potentially endanger President Trump’s life further following two assassination attempts.

Counter-extremism researchers with the Justice Report say they have discovered that a lifelong anarchist, left-wing extremist, and devout follower of Anfifa is working as a Secret Service agent. Moreover, the individual reportedly has made a series of disgusting comments regarding Trump.

The Gateway Pundit will NOT be naming the alleged Secret Service agent until we confirm the person’s identity.

The supposed agent has a series of ugly posts under the since-deleted account /u/endon40 on the leftist social media forum Reddit where he calls the American electorate “chodes” and Nazis who voted for a man with “Nazi-a** policies.”

“These chodes are cowards and won’t win, no matter how long it takes to pry them from power if they manage to cheat their way back to it,” the Anifa sympathizer wrote. “The survival rate of fascist dictatorships trends towards zero.”

“They voted for a dude who has Nazi-a**policies and who surrounds himself with people who do, including actual neo-Nazis,” he added, “When you’re willing to (vote Trump) and support a guy who has policies mirroring the Third Reich and again, had actual neo nazis around him, you’re a Nazi.

House Democrat Calls for ‘Shadow Government’ to Undermine Trump, with Adam Schiff as Fake AG

Democrat Rep. Wiley Nickel (D-NC) is so bereaved by Vice President Kamala Harris’s loss and President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet picks that he is suggesting Democrats take action and form a “shadow government,” operating to oppose the Trump agenda that the majority if the country voted for.

Nickel put forth his idea in an op-ed in the Washington Post, asserting that it is time for America to “borrow from our British friends and appoint a shadow cabinet to fight back against the worst excesses of a second Trump administration.”

He laid out his vision on the House floor, asserting that “new times call for new solutions.”

“Last week stung. As Democrats, we simply failed to convince the American people we have better ideas to solve their problems, but we do. Now we need to dust ourselves off and get ready to fight,” he said. “We can’t let Donald Trump’s extreme MAGA agenda go unanswered or unopposed,” he continued, walking through his pitch to “borrow from our British friends and appoint a shadow cabinet to fight back against the worst abuses of a second Trump administration.”

Schumer said:

The special relationship between the United States and Britain extends not just to our strength on the global stage, but also to our shared commitment to democracy. Across the Atlantic, the British have something we don’t: A team from the opposition that mirrors the government’s own Cabinet members. They watch the Cabinet closely, publicly, challenging, scrutinizing and offering new ideas.

He described this as “another form of checks and balances.”

“It’s democracy’s insurance policy, and it strengthens the government, too. There’s no room for lazy ideas when rivals stand ready to step in,” he claimed.
