The Cover-up of Biden’s Cognitive Decline Was Even Worse Than We Thought

While we’ve all witnessed Joe Biden’s countless gaffes, confused wanderings, and incoherent ramblings over the past three years, what’s been happening behind the scenes is far more disturbing than anyone imagined. A bombshell new book reveals that while the White House was busy assuring Americans that Biden was a “vigorous” leader fully capable of executing his duties, Kamala Harris’s team was secretly planning for his potential departure — or death — as early as January 2023.

The revelations come from “FIGHT: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House,” a forthcoming book by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes that exposes the shocking extent of the Biden administration’s cover-up

More startlingly still, the book also reports that aides to Kamala Harris, the vice-president who assumed the nomination then lost to Trump, “strategized around the possibility that Biden might die in office”.

Such planning was led by Jamal Simmons, Harris’s White House communications director, Parnes and Allen report, and went as far as the drawing up of a “death-pool roster” of federal judges who might swear Harris in.

Simmons “never told the vice president about the death-pool roster before leaving her camp in January 2023,” the authors write, “but he advised colleagues that he should be notified immediately if something happened to Biden, because he had worked out an entire communications strategy. And he left the spreadsheet with another Harris aide.”

Let’s put this into perspective, shall we? While White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor claimed that “President Biden remains a healthy, vigorous, 80-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief,” Kamala’s team was maintaining spreadsheets of federal judges who could swear her in as president at a moment’s notice.

The same administration that repeatedly mocked concerns about Biden’s cognitive decline was actively preparing for multiple scenarios of his departure, including him leaving office “against his will.” A campaign official admitted, “It shows what we had to do to prepare with the unique circumstances we had, which was an 80-plus-year-old president who was running.”

The lengths to which Biden’s handlers have gone to prop him up are equally alarming. The book reveals the White House used neon-colored tape on floors to guide his movements — a fact confirmed by an aide who casually noted, “He knows to look for that.”

The Autopen, The Presidency And The Constitution: What To Know

The “autopen” is in vogue. On March 17, President Donald Trump announced in a late-night social media post that he would ignore several pardons issued by his predecessor, President Joe Biden, because they were allegedly signed by autopen.

An autopen is a machine that reproduces handwriting. In the case of elected officials, who are expected to sign thousands of official documents on a regular basis, autopens are often used to reproduce their signatures in lieu of them signing each paper by their own hand.

The use of autopens has raised constitutional questions for some after Trump’s accusations of autopen use by Biden. They say that autopen use casts doubt on whether Biden knew the documents were being signed at all, thus implicating their validity.

“I worked in [the White House] for several presidents,” wrote K.T. MacFarland, a former deputy national security adviser during Trump’s first administration, on social platform X. “If Biden himself granted these pardons, there will be paper trail. If not, the guy running autopen machine usurped presidential authority.

In a Jan. 20 statement that announced the pardons that were later challenged by his successor, Biden stated: “I am exercising my authority under the Constitution to pardon General Mark A. Milley, Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, the Members of Congress and staff who served on the Select Committee, and the U.S. Capitol and D.C. Metropolitan police officers who testified before the Select Committee.”

The Epoch Times is unable to independently verify whether the pardons were signed by autopen or not.

The Biden Presidential Library at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) denied The Epoch Times’ Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for Biden administration records about autopen use, citing a statute that prevents their release for five years after a president leaves office.

The former president, who has not yet established a post-presidential office, is not reachable.

Courts have opined that presidential pardons need not be written, and may be granted orally.

On whether writing is required as part of the president’s exercise of the clemency power, “The answer is undoubtedly no,” ruled the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit in 2024. “The plain language of the Constitution imposes no such limit.”

HERE WE GO: Trump Declares Biden’s ‘Autopen’ Pardons “VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT”

The political reckoning has begun.

President Donald Trump has delivered a devastating blow to the radical left’s anti-Trump crusade, declaring the shady “pardons” issued by Sleepy Joe Biden to be “VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT.”

In a late-night announcement on Truth Social, Trump announced:

“The “Pardons” that Sleepy Joe Biden gave to the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs, and many others, are hereby declared VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT, because of the fact that they were done by Autopen.

In other words, Joe Biden did not sign them but, more importantly, he did not know anything about them! The necessary Pardoning Documents were not explained to, or approved by, Biden.

He knew nothing about them, and the people that did may have committed a crime. Therefore, those on the Unselect Committee, who destroyed and deleted ALL evidence obtained during their two year Witch Hunt of me, and many other innocent people, should fully understand that they are subject to investigation at the highest level.

The fact is, they were probably responsible for the Documents that were signed on their behalf without the knowledge or consent of the Worst President in the History of our Country, Crooked Joe Biden!”

Second Biden Autopen Discovered: New Analysis of Second Frequently Used Autopen for Biden’s Pardons

The Biden Autopen scandal is growing by the day.

A second Biden Autopen has been discovered by the Oversight Project.

The Oversight Project discovered there was a second frequently used autopen signature for Joe Biden’s pardons and commutations.

Autopen A and Autopen B have slight differences in the signatures.

Analysis by the Oversight Project reveals out of 51 clemency warrants issued by Biden: 16 were signed with Autopen A, 16 were signed with Autopen B and 19 appear to be wet signatures.

Explosive Update to Biden Autopen Scandal Reveals Unelected Staffer’s Role

As PJ Media previously reported, a bombshell investigation by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project revealed that nearly every document during Biden’s presidency was signed by autopen, with only one authentic signature confirmed — his letter announcing withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race.

The presidential autopen has been in use since the 1950s, which has sparked ongoing debate over its legality. In 2013, Barack Obama became the first president to use it to sign a bill into law while vacationing in Hawaii. His office justified the move with a 30-page memo from George W. Bush’s legal team, which argued that a president’s physical presence wasn’t necessary as long as the signature was authorized.

But Joe Biden’s cognitive decline raised legitimate questions as to whether he was aware of official documents being signed on his behalf, or if they were even authorized. Speaker Mike Johnson previously revealed that Biden couldn’t even recall signing an LNG exports executive order, raising serious questions about whether someone was signing documents with the autopen without Biden’s authorization.

According to an explosive report from the New York Post, a senior Biden aide may have been wielding presidential power through liberal use of the autopen and essentially acting as a shadow president. One White House source painted a chilling picture:

One Biden White House source told The Post they suspect that a key aide to the then-president may have made unilateral determinations on what to auto-sign. The Post is not publishing that staffer’s name due to the lack of concrete evidence and refutations by other colleagues.

The Biden aide, who did not respond to requests for comment, would frequently make mention of what “the boss” wanted, the source said, but compatriots would have “no idea” if it was true because the internal culture was to not ask questions.

Even more disturbing, another source revealed the extent of this aide’s power:

“Everyone” was suspicious of this individual exceeding their authority when claiming to speak for the president, the source said. “But no one would actually say it.”

“I think [the aide] was using the autopen as standard and past protocol,” The Post’s informant said. “There is no clarity on who actually approved what — POTUS or [the aide].”

A second Biden White House source agreed that the person was suspected of assuming the then-president’s positions and handing down orders without it being clear if they actually had communicated with the commander-in-chief.

“If they’re carrying out the president’s will, it doesn’t seem like an issue,” Attorney Mike Davis, an outside advisor to Trump, told The Post. “If they’re not carrying out the president’s will, it’s a huge issue—it’s criminal.”

Oversight Project investigation: Biden autopen signature used on ‘every document we could find’

The Oversight Project, an investigative arm of the conservative Heritage Foundation, alleged an excessive use of autopen signature by former President Biden when he was in the White House.

“We gathered every document we could find with Biden’s signature over the course of his presidency. All used the same autopen signature except for the announcement that the former President was dropping out of the race last year,” the organization wrote on X alongside examples of Biden’s autopen signature.

The Oversight Project is questioning “who controlled the autopen” because “they controlled the presidency.”

Following the Oversight Project findings, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey called for the Department of Justice to investigate whether Biden’s “cognitive decline allowed unelected staff to push through radical policy without his knowing approval.”

Bailey argued that if the widespread autopen use turns out to be true, “these executive orders, pardons, and all other actions are unconstitutional and legally void.”

Here’s a 10-Minute Video That Obliterates the Liberal Media’s Protection of Joe Biden

We know about the liberal media cover-up regarding Joe Biden’s mental health. It wasn’t a mid-way through his term crisis either. On day one, his staff noticed he was losing his marbles and did whatever they could to hide this from the public. Toward the end, it was clear to voters that Biden had retreated into the bunker, the beach, or anywhere that would limit access to the White House Press Corps. Many reporters knew of his condition and said nothing out of fear of helping the Republicans or losing access.

Here’s the quintessential video that obliterates the protection the establishment press afforded the former president, sticking to the script despite Joe being a mumbling, confused mess before the nation. The top talking point was “fiery,” repeated so often that it could be a drinking game.

Could a Bombshell Discovery Render All of Biden’s Presidential Actions ‘Null and Void’?

The Biden presidency might have been the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the American people. A shocking investigation by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project has revealed that virtually every document bearing Joe Biden’s signature during his presidency was signed by an autopen — except for one.

What makes this revelation particularly damning is that the only document confirmed to have Biden’s actual signature was his letter announcing his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race. Let that sink in for a moment.

Remember when House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) revealed his discussion with Biden when Biden couldn’t recall signing the executive order halting LNG exports? Now we know why — he probably didn’t. The real question is: Who did? Who was running the country while Biden was not all there?

The use of the presidential autopen dates back to the 1950s, and there’s been much debate about its legality. In 2013, Barack Obama became the first president to sign a bill into law using an autopen. He was vacationing in Hawaii at the time. His office relied on a 30-page memo from President George W. Bush’s legal team asserting that the president’s presence was not required as long as said president had authorized the signature.

What’s not clear, in the case of Biden, is who was running the autopen and whether Biden was aware it was happening.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is demanding that the Department of Justice investigate whether Biden’s obvious cognitive decline allowed unelected bureaucrats to essentially run the government without presidential oversight. If this is true — and let’s be honest, all signs point to yes — every executive order, every pardon, and every official action taken under Biden’s name could be constitutionally void.

Missouri Attorney General Bailey Demands DOJ Investigate if Biden’s Cognitive Decline Allowed Staffers to Make Decisions without His Knowledge

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey asked the Justice Department to investigate whether White House staffers exploited Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and issued far-left orders at the end of his presidency without his knowledge.

“I am demanding the DOJ investigate whether President Biden’s cognitive decline allowed unelected staff to push through radical policy without his knowing approval,” Bailey wrote.

“If in fact Biden’s staffers were exploiting his mental decline, those orders are null and void,” he added.

— Attorney General Andrew Bailey (@AGAndrewBailey) March 5, 2025

Andrew Bailey cited Joe Biden’s decision to commute the federal death sentences of nearly 40 prisoners on death row.

“Staffers and the Vice President cannot constitutionally evade accountability by laundering far-left orders through a man who does not know what he is signing. If in fact this has been occurring, then all those orders are void,” Bailey said.

Bailey also cited special counsel Robert Hur’s report on Biden’s cognitive decline.

“In what was described as “the loudest public alarm about Joe Biden’s mental acuity,” Special Counsel Hur described Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory” who could not even remember when he was Vice President or, even within several years, when his son passed away,” Bailey wrote.

After Four Years of Covering Up Biden’s Dementia, President Trump Shocks Media by Taking Questions From Reporters in Oval Office While Signing Executive Orders and J6 Pardons

President Trump shocked the media by engaging reporters in an extended Q & A in the Oval Office Monday night while signing executive orders and pardons and commutations for supporters prosecuted over the January 6 riot. The signing event went on for about 45 minutes as Trump took questions from reporters while he signed the orders and pardons. It was a stark contrast from the four years of the media covering up Joe Biden’s dementia.

Will Scharf, who was one of Trump’s personal attorneys in his court battles last year and was appointed by Trump to be White House staff secretary, handed Trump the binders with executive orders and pardons, explaining to Trump and the reporters about each one.
