THE SECRET SERVICE erased text messages from January 5 and January 6, 2021, according to a letter given to the January 6 committee and reviewed by The Intercept. The letter was originally sent by the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General to the House and Senate homeland security committees. Though the Secret Service maintains that the text messages were lost as a result of a “device-replacement program,” the letter says the erasure took place shortly after oversight officials requested the agency’s electronic communications.
The Secret Service did not respond to a request for comment from The Intercept. In a statement to the Washington Post, Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi disputed the timeline, saying that some electronic communications had been deleted in January, while the Inspector General made its request in February.
The Secret Service has emerged as a key player in the explosive congressional hearings on former President Donald Trump’s role in the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, in an attempt to prevent the 2020 election results from being certified. That day, then-Vice President Mike Pence was at the Capitol to certify the results. When rioters entered the building, the Secret Service tried to whisk Pence away from the scene.
If you skim the front pages of major corporate news outlets, you’ll find no mention of the economic protests raging in Spain, Morocco, Greece, and the United Kingdom.
On The Washington Post homepage these days, you’ll find headlines such as, “How To Deal With A Chatty Coworker Who Won’t Get Out Of Your Office,” but you won’t find mention of the more than 100,000 people protesting in Madrid. You’ll find the story of a gay union entitled, “What’s Two ‘Yentas’ Plus One Senator? A Lifetime Together” at The New York Times, but you won’t see a single heading on the more than 10,000 protesters in Athens. Corporate media has largely glossed over the tens of thousands of farmers in the Netherlands who clogged up roadways and distributions centers by holding Canadian-trucker-convoy-style demonstrations to protest radical climate policies.
According to the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, which records protests worldwide, 11 countries are currently seeing protests of more than 1,000 people in response to the rising cost of living and other economic woes in 2022. As of July 5, Carnegie had recorded protests of more than 120,000 people in France, 100,000 in Spain, 10,000 in Greece, 10,000 in Kazakhstan, 10,000 in Sri Lanka, 10,000 in India, 5,000 in Iran, 5,000 in Peru, 1,000 people in Argentina, 1,000 in Morocco, and 1,000 in the U.K.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claimed Wednesday evening that U.S. Capitol Police officers or other actors working inside the Capitol building assisted protesters during the January 6 riot as they breached the facility in an effort to stop the certification of the Electoral College vote.
The congresswoman also said that, because the issue is unresolved, she has “never felt safe” at the Capitol. Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks came just hours after a comedian crudely trolled her while she was entering the building.
In a video posted by Pablo Manríquez, a correspondent for Latino Rebels, AOC is heard sounding off to the camera, “…And that there were actual officers working with this? And we never got to the bottom of that, and we never got any answers about that? And to this day, we’re just supposed to pretend that that never happened? I have no idea what happened to the people on the inside, who were very clearly sympathetic with what was going on and opening doors wide open for that, and I’m supposed to sit here and pretend like none of that ever happened?”

A grocery facility funded by globalist Bill Gates caught fire in the Netherlands, as Dutch farmers protest against the government’s mandatory carbon-cutting scheme.
Video from Monday night shows the online-only supermarket Picnic facility in Almelo going up in flames.
Picnic, which specializes in delivery services via electric vehicles and reportedly promotes sustainability practices, received €600 million from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Trust last year to expand across Europe.
The fire comes as farmers in the Netherlands have been staging demonstrations protesting the government’s new climate rules that force them to reduce fertilizer use and livestock numbers in purported efforts to cut nitrogen and ammonia emissions.

The 16-year-old demonstrator who was shot at by police during a farmers protest in the Netherlands says he is under investigation for manslaughter.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night in the northern town of Heerenveen when Jouke Hospes had live rounds fired at his tractor during the protest.
Authorities immediately claimed that Hospes had deliberately tried to drive his vehicle into officers, but video footage of the confrontation shows this did not happen.
Hospes described how the incident began, saying farmers were already starting to leave the area when they were confronted by armed police.
“Behind me, it was clear, so I decided to go around it. I calmly crossed the sidewalk and drove very calmly. I went to see if traffic was approaching and if I could cross the road. I was driving [slowly], and suddenly I heard a PANG in my right ear. I thought there soon would be a second one.”
“I didn’t have any damage, so I thought it was a rubber bullet… However, I stopped for a while at Oudehaske, and when I was walking around the tractor, I saw a hole in the iron. All kinds of thoughts went through my head.”
The January 6 Committee’s credibility suffered a serious blow on Tuesday when reports surfaced that the lead Secret Service agent in charge of former President Trump’s security detail that day would contradict testimony delivered from star witness Cassidy Hutchinson.
On Tuesday, former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson testified that former President Trump literally tried to commandeer the presidential suburban during the January 6 riot and became borderline violent when Bobby Engel tried to stop him. Hutchinson said she learned of the story from Tony Ornato, the then-White House deputy chief of staff. Hours later, Peter Alexander of NBC News said that a source close to the Secret Service indicated that agent Bobby Engel will testify “under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.”
Conservatives and Trump allies immediately pounced on the report, saying it completely destroys any credibility the January 6 show trial had hoped to retain.
On Saturday, June 11, officers of the Coeur d’Alene Police Department and Kootenai County (Idaho) Sheriff’s Office made a dramatic bust of a U-Haul truck filled with uniformed “white supremacists” who, reportedly, intended to cause a riot at an “LGBTQ Pride” event. However, that is only part of the story. It appears that the primary intent of those arrested (virtually all of whom were out-of-state actors) was to barge in uninvited and associate themselves with Christian groups that were carrying out a peaceful, prayerful counter-demonstration to the LGBTQ event at a different nearby park. The story of the arrests immediately went viral with sensational headlines, photos, and video footage tailored to fit the relentless media theme of red states as dangerous bastions of right-wing, racist, Trumpist, homophobic extremism. In this article we will be reporting on the story behind the headlines, the lessons that this incident provides, and the warning it signals about similar events that are likely in store for us in the future.
As the Nancy Pelosi/Liz Cheney dog-and-pony hoax known as the House Select Committee on January 6 revved up in June, patriots across the country went on alert, concerned that provocations might be cooked up to justify the committee’s ongoing “investigation” and to boost the Pelosi-Cheney narrative that “white nationalism” is running rampant in the republic. This is not the result of patriot paranoia; there is good reason to be concerned that agents provocateurs from the Antifa/BLM Left or the FBI (or both) would create violent incidents that the Fake News media would exploit to further demonize conservatives and advance the “progressive” police-state agenda. After all, it is not like this has never happened before. There is ample evidence that FBI operatives played enough key roles in the Capitol melee of January 6, 2021 to warrant the suspicion that it was a “Fedsurrection” rather than the “insurrection” the media bloviators and political hacks would have us believe it was.
Remember too that the FBI’s man in charge of its Washington, D.C., office at the time of the “insurrection” (and still serving in that capacity) is Steven D’Antuono, the same FBI official who orchestrated and oversaw the phony kidnapping plot of Michigan’s radical Democratic governor, Gretchen Whitmer, by a “militia” group composed almost completely of the FBI’s own agents or its paid informants. That FBI operation culminated in sensational arrests just three weeks before the 2020 presidential election, conveniently timed to provide the Biden campaign and its media collaborators with ammunition to blast Donald Trump 24/7 with accusations that he was encouraging and inspiring terrorism and insurrection. It couldn’t have been more advantageously concocted to aid the Democrats if it had been scripted by the Democratic National Committee. And perhaps it was, since, as the recent history of the Trump and Biden administrations shows, the DNC and the DOJ/FBI work together seamlessly. And even though the trials of the “Whitmer kidnap plot” have, thus far, ended in acquittals for the defendants on grounds of entrapment and have exposed gross criminal abuse and conspiracy by the FBI, it has been almost completely ignored by the daily outrage lobby of the controlled media. Thus, the DNC/DOJ/FBI cabal undoubtedly feels emboldened to continue with impunity these criminal operations against the American people.
