TikTok Removes Reform UK Campaign Video Using Online Safety Act “Hate” Censorship Rules

The UK’s Online Safety Act has been in force for less than a year and it is again being used to censor political speech during an election.

TikTok blocked and then deleted a campaign video by Reform UK’s Spokesperson for Home Affairs, Zia Yusuf, after someone reported it under the OSA’s content reporting mechanism.

The video was about immigration policy and takes place during a period of campaigning for a by-election.

TikTok cited its “Hate Speech and Hateful Behavior” rules. The law that gave the complainant the reporting tool and that gives TikTok every financial reason to comply without asking too many questions, is the Online Safety Act.

The OSA was sold to the British public as child protection. The actual legislation requires platforms to police all content against UK law, including broadly defined “hate speech” provisions.

Companies that fail to comply face fines of up to £18 million ($24m) or 10% of their qualifying worldwide revenue, whichever is greater. For a platform the size of TikTok, that penalty could run into billions. The rational response to that kind of liability is to delete first and never think about it again.

Under the OSA, platforms must provide UK users with tools to report content they believe is illegal under British law.

TikTok confirmed this is what triggered the action against Yusuf’s video. The notification he received stated: “We have detected this policy violation based on a report that the content violated our Community Guidelines.”

Academia’s Leftward March

Universities have leaned left politically since at least the 1960s. In itself, that’s not a problem. Different professions attract different kinds of people. Artists lean liberal. Soldiers lean conservative. Why should academics be any exception?

But there’s a difference between a lean and a monopoly – and American academia is rapidly approaching the latter. According to a recent paper by Nathan Honeycutt, 74% of US faculty identify as liberal, 15% as moderate, and only 11% as conservative. Remarkably, more faculty identify as “far left” or “very liberal” than with any position right of center.

This matters because intellectual progress depends on disagreement. When dissenting voices vanish, institutions don’t become wiser; they become more vulnerable to groupthink, motivated reasoning, and the comforting illusion that everyone sensible already agrees. If universities lose the capacity to challenge their own assumptions, their claim to be society’s truth-seeking institutions starts to look increasingly shaky.

Dem Infighting Worsens as Fingers Start Pointing in Heated California Governor’s Race

The warm California summers have nothing on the flaring tempers within the state’s crowded gubernatorial race.

And most of that bickering is coming from just one side of the political aisle.

As Democrats vie to get past the state’s unique primary system — wherein neither major political party is guaranteed to have a candidate in the final two — tensions are rising significantly between them.

As the New York Post pointed out, one of the contenders, California Rep. Katie Porter, is now trying to reframe one of her biggest campaign blunders as an indictment against a fellow Democrat.

Porter told CNN that she was “confident” that the unflattering videos that began circulating in October 2025 of her screaming at various aides and acting in other uncouth manners were ultimately leaked by billionaire gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer.

“I am confident that is the case,” she said.

Steyer’s campaign has denied this allegation.

Democrats Refuse to Even Talk to the American People Anymore

Of all the problems Democrats have created and unleashed on the country, the unwillingness and inability to speak to anyone who disagrees with them is among the worst. They don’t even try anymore, liberals only engage with each other in an agreement-festival that rivals a row of bobblehead dolls double-sided taped to the dashboard of the family truckster all nodding with each other as they ramble down a bumpy dirt road. 

When was the last time you heard a dissenting voice on MS Now? Anyone who dares disagree with the “progressive” narrative on CNN is spoken over, shouted down or cut off for a “correction” from the host or a quick commercial break. The left has gone from terrified of being called out for their lies to operating in a cocoon so that possibility becomes impossible. 

Joe Biden used to yell about how he wanted to be “the President of all Americans,” but he never gave an interview to Fox News. How can you be the President of everyone when you won’t talk to half the country for four years? He even passed on a softball Super Bowl interview – the biggest audience he’d ever have access to and he declined. 

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes speaks exclusively to friendly outlets. Even the “spontaneous” questions she takes when “tracked down” in the halls of Congress are more choreographed than a Broadway musical. How do you think it is that she just so happens to be “cornered” by the anti-American, Soror-funded Meidas Touch activist group that pretends to do news? She’s always by herself, always stops, and is more scripted than an Aaron Sorkin movie. How many times have you seen her running away from reporters asking basic questions, but somehow she manages to have time for this one outlet? 

They’re likely feeding her the questions, coordinating with staff to get video of her relevant to the news cycle onto the Internet to try to improve her image with people not insane. There’s no other reason the few staffers in the video don’t run interference like they do with others or how they always manage to “find” her in cordoned off areas of the Capitol Building.

McMorrow Pushed Water Affordability While Racking Up $3,000 Unpaid Utility Tab at Million-Dollar Home

A candidate for Michigan’s open U.S. Senate seat apparently doesn’t like paying her utility bills. 

Fox News reported that Mallory McMorrow went nearly a year without paying water or sewer bills on their million-dollar home in Royal Oak until Friday, when contacted by Fox News.

The bill grew to over $3,000 since June 2025 when accounting for late fees and unpaid bills, Fox reported. 

In 2025, McMorrow sponsored Senate Bill 250, which aimed to create a water affordability program. The bill aimed to create the low-income water affordability program within the state health department to ensure an eligible customer didn’t pay over three percent of the household income on a water bill. 

That bill aimed to “identify alternative funding” for the program, which means raising taxes to fund “free” water for others.

Wait Until California Taxpayers See Gavin Newsom’s Latest Multi Million Dollar Spending Disaster

California Governor Gavin Newsom has managed to outdo himself again, and that is saying something.

The man never seems to meet a taxpayer dollar he is not eager to torch, and this time, he has done it under the warm glow of “helping children.”

The latest fiasco involves a state-funded pediatric hearing aid program that has managed to spend nearly twenty-three million dollars while delivering only a few hundred hearing aids. Lawmakers and child advocates are absolutely fuming over the waste, and Californians are once again left holding the bill.

Five years ago, rather than backing legislation that would have forced private insurers to cover hearing aids for children, Newsom opted for a state-run fix.

The result has been precisely what every conservative predicted: a bloated bureaucracy that devours funds while doing next to nothing for the very people it is supposed to help.

According to state reports, the Hearing Aid Coverage for Children Program has around three hundred active enrollees.

That means each case has effectively cost the state about seventy six thousand dollars.

In the private market, that amount could have purchased thousands of hearing aids instead of footing the bill for more public sector “administration.”

False Framing of the GENIUS Act: Democrats Love Regulation, But Not When It Comes From President Trump

In July 2025, President Trump signed the GENIUS Act, the first federal law in U.S. history to regulate stablecoins, which passed with strong bipartisan support: 68–30 in the Senate and 308–122 in the House.

Democrats oppose the GENIUS Act because they claim its lighter regulatory framework could benefit large, well-funded stablecoin issuers, including companies they allege may have ties to President Trump or his associates. Critics argue the bill gives non-bank issuers a potential regulatory advantage and raises concerns about political favoritism and conflicts of interest.

However, the GENIUS Act is necessary because stablecoins have already grown into a massive, systemically important financial market operating largely outside the federal regulatory framework. Without clear U.S. rules, the industry would continue developing under foreign regulations, creating consumer and national-security risks while allowing strategic competitors to shape the future of dollar-backed digital finance.

A stablecoin is a privately issued digital currency pegged to $1.00. Unlike Bitcoin, it doesn’t fluctuate. You can send it anywhere in the world instantly. The biggest issuers are Tether and USD Coin (USDC). Private companies run them, not governments. The business model is simple: a user deposits $1,000, gets 1,000 digital tokens, and the company invests that $1,000 in U.S. Treasury bonds and keeps the interest, say 4–5%, while the user collects nothing. At scale, this is enormously profitable.

Tether alone holds over $100 billion in reserves and earned roughly $6.2 billion in 2023. Before the GENIUS Act, none of this was federally regulated. Companies were not legally required to verify that they held the dollars they claimed to hold, faced no mandatory audits, had no anti-money laundering obligations, had no consumer protections, and had no mechanism for law enforcement to freeze or seize funds.

Tether had for years resisted full independent audits, raising legitimate questions about whether it actually held the dollars backing its tokens. The law changed that, requiring issuers to hold $1 in cash or short-term Treasury bills for each token issued, to publish monthly disclosures of reserve composition, to follow anti-money laundering rules under the Bank Secrecy Act, and to comply with court orders to freeze or destroy tokens.

The necessity of the law is factually grounded. Stablecoin transaction volumes had grown to exceed those of Visa and Mastercard combined by 2024, up 28% year over year. This represented a systemically significant payment infrastructure operating entirely outside the federal regulatory framework governing every other payment system of comparable scale. Dollar-denominated stablecoins also extend the reach of the U.S. dollar globally, including into economies where people distrust their local currency.

The Virginia Democrat Behind the Illegal Theft of Republican Seats Launches Fundraiser for Legal Defense

L. Louise Lucas, the prominent Virginia Democrat who was subject to a recent FBI raid on her home in business as part of a federal corruption and drug probe that began during the Biden administration, has launched a crowd sourced fundraiser to gain cash to pay for her legal defense.

“I have spent my entire life looking for good trouble,” Lucas said in her post on social media advertising the fundraiser. The fundraiser seeks to raise $100,000 for her defense. She has managed to just raise 6 percent of her goal in over a day of begging for help.

 “Lucas faces legal challenges while continuing to stand firm in her commitment to public service and democracy,” the description of the campaign read. “The L. Louise Lucas Legal Defense Fund has been established to help provide the resources necessary to support her legal defense and protect her ability to continue serving the community she has fought for her entire life.”

Venezuela Extradites Maduro’s ‘Bagman’ Alex Saab to the US – Shady Businessman Was Previously Pardoned by Biden, and May Now Testify Against Maduro

The cooperation between the US and the new Venezuela continues to bear fruit.

54-year-old Colombian businessman Alex Saab, a close ally of former Venezuelan Dictator Nicolás Maduro, has been reportedly extradited to the US.

He had been arrested in February, in a joint US-Venezuelan operation, and was extradited to the US yesterday (16), less than three years after being pardoned by feeble Joe Biden.

Saab’s deportation was announced in a press release from Venezuela’s Ministry of Justice, which was shared on Instagram.

The New York Post reported:

“Alex Saab, 54, a Colombian-Venezuelan businessman described by US officials as a close ally to Maduro was arrested in Caracas during a joint US-Venezuelan operation in February, according to a US law enforcement official.

‘The deportation was ordered considering that the aforementioned Colombian citizen is involved in the commission of various crimes in the United States of America, as is public knowledge and widely reported’, the statement continued.”

Is Zelensky’s wife the next domino to fall?

Ever since Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky failed at curbing the power of Ukrainian anti-corruption agencies NABU and SAPO, the rampant corruption that is allegedly taking place in his government began to be exposed.

With Zelensky’s close friend and partner Timur Mindich fleeing justice and hiding in Israel, the number of Kiev regime figures who were fired and are facing investigations/indictments is long – and growing.

So far, these are the fallen ones: Herman Galushchenko – former Minister of Energy and former Minister of Justice; Svitlana Hrynchuk, former Minister of Energy; Oleksiy Chernyshov, former Deputy Prime Minister; Mykola Solskyi, former Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food; Andriy Pyvovarsky, former Minister of Infrastructure; Andriy Smyrnov, former Deputy Head of the Presidential Office.

And, of course, Andriy Yermak, chief of staff and right-hand man to Zelensky, formerly the second most powerful man in all of Ukraine, who has been indicted and ordered to pre-trial arrest.

But now, things may get much worse for Zelensky.

Today, Russian outlet RIA Novosti is reporting that the arrest of Zelensky’s wife, Olena (Elena), is being prepared by NABU and SAPO, who reportedly have ‘ample ground’ for detaining her.
