Socialist Senate Hopeful Angie Nixon Pockets $70K in Unexplained Income From Obscure Company Overseen By Anti-ICE Activist

Socialist Angie Nixon has pocketed at least $70,000 in personal income this year from a mysterious company linked to a prominent anti-ICE activist—all while running for Senate in Florida. “The wages, which helped Nixon break even after years of negative net worth, raise additional questions about her opaque personal finances, which are already the subject of a criminal referral from an ethics watchdog,” the Free Beacon’s Thomas Catenacci and Andrew Kerr report.

Nixon’s benefactor, Building Blocks Strategies, is registered in Virginia but appears to operate from a shared workspace in Miami that also hosts Miami’s Democratic Socialists of America chapter. It was founded by a left-wing activist, Katherine Boswell, who led a D.C.-based anti-ICE group and now runs a boutique communications outfit alongside Nixon’s campaign’s treasurer. That outfit, Lost Minds Media, is also registered to the same Miami workspace. After the Free Beacon contacted Nixon’s treasurer, David Geller, Lost Minds Media’s website was wiped—it now states it’s “under construction.”

Building Blocks’ only known client is the Florida Public Service Union, which Nixon once worked for. Nixon at one point stated on her campaign website that she still leads the union’s higher education program, though she has more recently called herself a “former union organizer.” She did not disclose income from the union in her latest personal finance disclosures. She did, however, report plenty of money from Building Blocks: $20,000 in 2025 and $70,000 in 2026. There is no known explanation for the payments, as the firm has no website or social media presence and is not registered as a business entity in Florida, although it appears to operate exclusively in the state.

“These wages are the latest red flag in Nixon’s finances, which are shrouded in secrecy,” write Catenacci and Kerr. “The Free Beacon reported last month that Nixon—whose income is five times that of a typical American—has seen her personal income skyrocket in the last few years, while a nonprofit she founded has simultaneously seen a significant uptick in revenue. That nonprofit, the Jacksonville-based Moxie Group, has classified most of its expenses under the ‘other’ category on state filings but failed to file federal tax forms that were due last year and would have shed more light on its expenses. Nixon operates a black power-themed ‘Cafe Resistance’—which contains a shrine to black convicted cop-killers—in a Jacksonville shopping mall parking lot but operates it as a for-profit company, based on her tax filings. This raises further questions about where her charity’s money is being spent.”

Former Socialist Congressional Candidate Arrested For Threatening People Who Don’t Vote For Angie Nixon: “I’m Going to Cut Your F*cking Head Off”

Elijah Manley, the former Socialist-Democrat candidate in Florida, was arrested for threatening to behead people if they don’t vote for Democrat Senate candidate Angie Nixon.

Recall that Elijah Manley, an anti-ICE activist, previously lashed out at his opponent Democrat Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz for running in a majority black district.

“I think, for sure, it was a bad move by the congresswoman to run in this district. It was selfish and all about her, her career, and not about the community. She failed to do any meaningful dialogue with the community before announcing her run, and it comes off as a hostile takeover of the district,” said Elijah Manley, a 27-year-old Black Democrat and progressive organizer running against her in the primary.

Over the summer, Elijah Manley threatened to behead people if they don’t vote for Communist Florida Senate Candidate Angie Nixon.

“Every democrat needs to get behind the democratic nominee for Senate. Anybody not doing that, I promise you I’m going to cut your f*cking head off,” Elijah Manley wrote on Facebook.

“Any of you that don’t support Angie Nixon. I promise you I will make your life a living hell to the very end,” he said.

Elijah Manley turned himself in to Broward County authorities this weekend.

OUTRAGEOUS! Socialist Lula Threatens Flávio Bolsonaro with Investigations During LIVE Presidential Debate — Warns Conservative Rival He Will Lose His Immunity After October 25 Election

Brazilian socialist President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva sparked fresh controversy Sunday night after delivering what appeared to be an extraordinary warning to his conservative challenger, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, during a nationally televised presidential debate.

With Brazil’s crucial October 25 presidential runoff just days away, Lula warned Bolsonaro that he would lose his parliamentary immunity and face a wave of investigations if he loses the election.

The explosive exchange occurred Sunday, October 18, during a debate hosted by Brazilian television network Band, where the two candidates traded accusations over corruption, government accountability, and their families’ political controversies.

Lula told Bolsonaro, according to a translation of his remarks:

“Get ready, because on the 25th you’re going to lose your immunity, and you’re going to have problems, because there are a lot of investigations in your life that will now move forward.”

The socialist president went even further, suggesting that investigations had been prevented from advancing by Bolsonaro’s political allies.

“If your friends aren’t allowing them to move forward, now they will.”

The remarks were reported by Brazilian news outlet Portal VV8, which published Lula’s original Portuguese statements from the debate.

Woke Socialists’ Labor Rhetoric Falls Flat as Attendees of Socialism 2026 Conference Happily Enter Hotel Staffed by Union Workers Without a Contract

Socialists are all about “the worker,” right? That is what they spout again and again.  So the irony of what is happening at the Socialism 2026 conference being held this weekend in Chicago is rich and lays bare the labor rhetoric vs. how champagne socialists actually behave.

The communist, Mao Zedong-loving influencer Hasan Piker is a featured speaker at the event.

The gathering is endorsed by groups including the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), Organized Communities Against Deportations, and the Black Rose Anarchist Federation.

While good little Bolsheviks entered the venue to plan the demise of the American way of life, they walked right into a hotel where union workers have been working without a contract since midnight on September 1.

The annual conference, sponsored by Haymarket Books and other co-sponsors, is a weekend full of Marxism, Palestine cheerleading, ICE bashing, climate handwringing, and, of course, performative conversations about the labor force. This year’s event is being held at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place with about 2,600 registered.

The same weekend, UNITE HERE Local 1 hotel workers at 46 Chicago hotels, representing more than 7,000 people workers, have been working without a contract since midnight on September 1. The union marched on Michigan Avenue on September 2 and said they could strike at any time.

Holding a socialist conference inside a Hyatt, tied to Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s (D) family during an active citywide hotel contract fight doesn’t say much about how seriously the socialists take their fight for worker’s rights.

Socialists are currently attending the ‘Socialism 2026 Conference’ in Chicago and there are dozens of insane videos from the event that are already going viral on social media.

In this one, a masked woman explains why socialists must reject the idea of fitness, because to do otherwise would play right into the hands of fascists. Is this some sort of bizarre reaction to RFK Jr. and MAHA? No one would be surprised.

You will notice that this woman is masked. In 2026. In fact, it looks like almost everyone at this event is wearing masks. These are the people who loved the Covid-19 lockdowns. They’re pining for the return of those glory days.

“The More Dysgenic, the Better”: Beatrice Adler-Bolton Says the Left Must Give Up the “Fantasy of Being Fitter Than the Fascists”

At Socialism 2026, Adler-Bolton argues that “fitness is a measure of relative disposability under capitalism” and says the goal should not be to become “more useful to the ruling order.”

She says the left should not try to beat fascists “at their own game” by becoming “fitter, more eugenic.”

“In fact, the more dysgenic, the better, I think.”

She closes by arguing that revolution is not “a contest between optimized and properly prepared bodies” and that the very idea is itself fascist.

2026 Chicago Socialism Conference Features Covid Masking Requirements

The 2026 Chicago Socialism Conference is requiring all attendees to wear N-95 or K-95 masks – and organizers will provide them for those without.

A description on the conference website adds:

“Please note: this requirement applies only to formal conference spaces and sessions—attendees should be aware of the possibility that attendees will be unmasked elsewhere in the conference hotel (or beyond) where they may informally congregate.”

Attendees are encouraged to test themselves for Covid ahead of time, and free tests will also be available on site.

The conference, which begins on Friday, will host a number of socialist speakers including Hasan Piker and DSA president Megan Romer.

In an about section, the conferences states “Socialism 2026 is a four-day conference bringing together thousands of socialists and radical activists from around the country to take part in discussions about social movements, abolition, Marxism, decolonization, working-class history, and the debates and strategies for organizing today.”

Continuing, it states, “Every year, the Socialism conference is a place where activists share lessons from their struggles—from anti-ICE organizing to the fight for gender liberation, from striking workers to Palestine solidarity campaigns, the struggle to stop the destruction of the planet, the fight against racism, and more.”

A conference agenda lists a number of programs including a “Marxism Education Series,” “Reproductive Justice Strategy Session,” “Sing, Struggle, Organize: Movement Songs, Political Education, and Collective Power,” and “Abolition Judaism: The Revolutionary Possibilities of Diaspora.”

Sponsors of the conference includes the DSA and the Palestinian Youth Movement among many other radical left organizations.

A code of conduct for the conference says they are committed to “uplifting and centering the voices and organizations of oppressed people and we know that interpersonal harm and harassment are pervasive in our society, and the left is not immune to these behaviors.”

Continuing, they state, “Our goal is to have a conflict- and crisis-free conference, and we are committed to working to de-escalate and resolve any problems that may arise.”

What is not clear from the code of conduct is whether the calls of political violence from Piker or other featured speakers violates the code of conduct or if threats towards conservatives and Republicans are allowed.

Tickets for the full conference range from $250 to $500 but if you identify as a student or low income, a subsidized option at $65 is also available.
