Can Masturbation Boost Your Immune System to Fight COVID?

With COVID-19 and the Delta variant spreading worldwide, people have been exploring ways to boost their immune systems. Immunity-boosting supplements, exercising, eating healthy, reducing stress, and quitting smoking are some common strategies to boost the immune system, but now masturbating could be added to the list, according to The Sun

Jennifer Landa, M.D., a specialist in hormone therapy, has said masturbating might strengthen the body’s natural defense forces.

“Masturbation can produce the right environment for a strengthened immune system,” Landa told Men’s Health.

Men’s Health also cited a 2004 study that showed men had more white blood cells 45 minutes after they had a solo orgasm. For those who don’t know, white blood cells are part of the body’s immune system that help fight infection and other diseases.

Apple Bans ‘Tinder For Unvaxxed’ After Media Snitches on Company

After top dating apps such as Tinder and Bumble partnered with the White House to take the COVID-19 jab, a new app called Unjected was launched to cater for the vaccine hesitant.

Launched by two women in Hawaii, the service sought to appeal to “like-minded people that support medical autonomy and free speech.”

Despite going strong for several months, the app was kicked off the Apple store after Bloomberg grassed up the company by contacting Apple and publishing a hit piece.

“Apple removed the app from its App Store after being contacted by Bloomberg News,” reported the outlet. “In an email to Unjected, Apple said the app “inappropriately refers to the Covid-19 pandemic in its concept or theme.”

The app also appears to be hanging by a thread on the Google Play store, where it is “under review” for describing COVID vaccines as “experimental mRNA gene modifiers,” “bioweapons” and “nano-technology microchips.”

American Couple Fined $50,000 For Traveling To Canada With Fake Vaccination Documents

Canada has for more than the past year become known as having arguably the most stringent and far-reaching travel screening and lockdown/quarantine polices of any country. For example the US-Canada border is still closed, but is set to open August 9th – only for the fully vaccinated

Throughout what’s essentially been more or less a ‘permanent’ state of lockdown since the start of the pandemic, even Canadians re-entering the country from outside have had to quarantine for at least two weeks if they can’t show proof of vaccination. This policy has been in effect in other countries as well, especially in Europe, which has perhaps made it inevitable that foreign travelers have sought to find ways around the restrictions. Authorities have worried about fake vaccination certificates popping up globally as the concept of ‘COVID passports’ has remained under discussion and is already fast becoming a reality at least in practice.

One particular recent instance being reported this week included a pair of American travelers busted by the Canadian government for what were described as fake COVID-19 vaccination documents, apparently in their bid to avoid quarantine measures and successfully enter the country.

They were reportedly fined 20,000 Canadian dollars each – or about $25,000 USD – after getting caught with the fakes. In total the pair will pay a whopping $50,000 fine.

“The unnamed travelers arrived from the U.S. in Canada the week of July 18. Officials from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) fined each traveler four times for a total of 19,720 CAD per traveler” Fox details.

Official protocol required that they also show a negative COVID test before boarding the inbound plane, after which travelers are required to be confined in a government-approved hotel for three days at the end of which they have to test negative again. All of this is at the traveler’s expense of course.

In this latest falsified documents case, the American pair even had fake negative tests:

The fake documents consisted of proof of vaccinations and pre-departure tests; officials also cited the pair for “non-compliance” with government requirements for accommodation and on-arrival testing, according to a PHAC press release

Democratic lawmakers petition Nextdoor over vaccine skepticism

Nextdoor, a social media networking service that operates as a neighborhood hub for sharing information, has been criticized by Congressional Democrats in the US for its lack of action to address the skepticism regarding the COVID vaccination.

“We urge you to release specific and clear data demonstrating the resources you currently devote to protect non-English speakers from misinformation, disinformation, and illegal content on your platform,” said the letter to Nextdoor CEO Sarah Friar, according to Politico Pro.

“Congress has a moral duty to ensure that all social media users have the same access to truthful and trustworthy content regardless of the language they speak at home or use to communicate online.” The lawmakers demanded a response by Aug. 13.

It Took Less Than 24 Hours For DC Mayor Bowser To Be Caught Violating Her New Mask Mandate

Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser was photographed not wearing a mask while reportedly officiating an indoor wedding Saturday — not even 24 hours after re-imposing an indoor mask mandate for the district.

The event occurred at The Line DC, a four-star hotel in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of the city, and was reportedly attended by hundreds of unmasked guests.

The mayor was approached by a reporter for the Washington Examiner but was reportedly escorted away by security detail before she could be questioned about being maskless in spite of her new order. The Examiner also obtained a photo of Bowser maskless at the wedding.

Australia will Use Military to Enforce Sydney Covid Lockdown – Troops will Knock on Doors to Make Sure Residents are at Home

Australia is sending troops to help local police enforce the new Covid lockdown in Sydney.

Australia’s largest city went into a hard lockdown – again – last Saturday amid rising Covid cases.

Sydney ordered a shutdown of all construction sites and non-essential retail.

Nearly 1 million residents are banned from leaving their neighborhood for work because a man in his 80s died from/with Covid.

Anti-lockdown protests erupted in Sydney this week because Aussies are sick of the restrictions.

So now Australia is using the military to enforce their lockdown, Reuters reported.

Beginning Monday, 300 troops will patrol Sydney and knock on doors to make sure people are following orders to stay at home.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said 80% vaccination rate is needed before reopening Australia’s largest city – Only 14% of people in Australia are fully vaccinated.

“If you get vaccinated, there will be special rules that apply to you. Why? Because if you’re vaccinated, you present less of a public health risk. You are less likely to get the virus. You are less likely to transmit it,” the prime minister told reporters, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
