MSNBC’s Ali Velshi Urges Viewers to Ruin Thanksgiving by Confronting Family Over Rumored Trump ‘Third Term’ Run

MSNBC host Ali Velshi has urged his dwindling audience to turn Thanksgiving dinners into heated political showdowns over the idea of Donald Trump seeking a third term as president.

In a segment titled “How We Prepare,” Velshi laid out a paranoid four-point plan to “resist” what he claims are Republican efforts to undermine future elections, while specifically calling on viewers to confront family members who dare mention a Trump third term.

“When people actually show up, that’s what works,” Velshi said.

The unhinged host continued, “In 2020, lawyers, judges and ordinary citizens forced the certification of the presidential election in the states. In Wayne county, Michigan, ground zero for the first nullification attempt, when officials flirted with refusing to certify the election, the public flooded the meeting. The plot collapsed the moment that locals caught wind of it. Republicans were willing to subvert democracy in the dark, but not so much in front of an engaged public. That’s lesson one for 2025.”

Next, he pushed for “voter buddy systems” to protect so-called vulnerable groups like Latino voters from intimidation, bizarrely warning about ICE agents lurking at polling places to scare people away. It appears to be an admission of his belief that illegal aliens are voting, as this would not be a concern for American citizens.

“Number two, create voter buddy systems, especially for neighbors who fear intimidation at the polls,” Velshi continued. “One tactic experts are worried about is the potential deployment of ICE agents to polling places. You can see why some qualified Latino voters — never mind Latino voters — anybody who’s a little bit brown like me, wouldn’t want to get caught up in a raid, thrown into detention until they can clear their names, just for going out to vote.”

His third plan point? Form “rapid-response teams” of everyday citizens to stake out polling places, voter dropboxes, and county meetings like some amateur surveillance squad.

“Build local rapid response teams, groups of ordinary citizens who show up as they’re doing in courts right now, at county meetings, at certification hearings, at voter dropboxes your physical presence is a deterrent to improper and illegal behavior,” he said.

The Trump Derangement Syndrome poster boy also advised monitoring election practices in other states as “test runs” for bigger schemes.

“Follow what’s happening in other states,” he urged. “That’s why these elections on Tuesday are so important, whether you live in one of them or not. The military deployments, attempted voter purges, the election monitors — consider them all trial runs for the bigger play, the one that’s going to happen right where you live.”

Ultimately, he asks his viewers to ruin Thanksgiving.

Velshi suggested shoving a pocket Constitution in the face of “that one uncle” who brings it up, pointing to the 22nd Amendment: “No person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice.”

“And finally, do not let Donald Trump and Republicans normalize talk of a third term — a third presidential term is illegal. Full stop,” Velshi declared. “So when that one uncle floats a third term loophole conspiracy over Thanksgiving dinner, don’t let it slide. And if your uncle insists that it’s doable, hand him one of these: A pocket Constitution opened to the 22nd amendment, section one, which reads, quote, ‘No person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice.’”

GASLIGHTING: MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace Claims No Democrats Have Compared Trump to Hitler

MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace looked into a camera today, and with a straight face, claimed that no Democrats have compared President Trump to Hitler.

Not only have they compared Trump to Hitler repeatedly, they’ve done it on Wallace’s own show.

This is the type of obvious gaslighting and outright lying that has caused millions of Americans to lose trust in the media. Everyone knows this is a lie, yet she just tells viewers not to believe their own eyes and ears.

The Wrap reports:

JB Pritzker insisted that he has never compared Donald Trump to Hitler – one week after he compared the United States’ use of ICE and border patrol agents to Nazi Germany.

“I haven’t suggested that Donald Trump is Hitler,” the Illinois Governor said while talking with Nicolle Wallace on “The Best People” podcast.

Wallace chimed in: “I don’t think any Democrat has. I think it’s a smear that they project back onto critics. JD Vance called Donald Trump cultural heroin, he called him America’s Hitler. The attacks on Donald Trump as a fascist came from three-star generals who worked for him.”

Just last week, while speaking at The Economic Club of Chicago, Pritzker drew parallels between Trump’s leveraging of ICE and the border patrol against illegal immigrants to the Nazi’s attacks on Jews.

“This is how authoritarian regimes do it,” Pritzker said. “They create these kind of fake ideas that there’s an enemy out there and it could be sitting next to you at one of these tables. So just somebody sitting at your table that you don’t like might be one of those enemies. So let’s round them up, let’s make sure they are the subjects of the laws that we’re passing, because we don’t like who they are. That is what authoritarian regimes do.”

Sedition: MSNBC Reporter Opines Military Will Turn on Trump, Urges Young People Against Joining Over Deployment of National Guard Troops to Protect ICE Agents and Facilities

President Donald Trump has mobilized National Guard troops to protect ICE agents and federal facilities from violent protesters and deadly assassins, and to help law enforcement officers in several cities across the country and the District of Columbia.

The deployment of Guard troops to Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago, Memphis and D.C. has been met with outrage and lawsuits by blue state governors, mayors, other Democrat officials and liberal reporters.

One such liberal reporter is MSNBC’s Jacob Soboroff.

Soboroff made his career adversely reporting on Trump’s first term migrant child separation policy meant to protect children from being trafficked by cartels into sex and work slavery.

Soboroff turned his anti-Trump reporting on migrant children into a book and movie deal titled Separated.

During the four years of Joe Biden’s presidency, Soboroff ignored the mass trafficking by the Biden administration of migrant children into work and sex slavery in the U.S.

Now with Trump back in office and vigorously enforcing immigration and deportation laws, Soboroff is back on the immigration beat.

Soboroff posted a clip of a discussion he had with MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace on Monday, adding, “for over four months I’ve reported as Trump has put troops and federal agents in cities across America. more than ever I’m seeing and hearing from people pushing back — standing up for immigrants, democracy and members of our military who don’t want this.”

Soboroff tried to undermine Trump’s deployment of Guard troops, saying that after speaking with troops he believes they will turn on Trump, that their families and neighbors will turn on them and urged young people not to join the military.

Trump-Hating Michael Cohen Shocks MSNBC Hacks by Admitting Comey Likely Committed a Crime and Will Be Found Guilty

MSNBC’s smug panelists were left stunned on Saturday when Michael Cohen, the disgraced former Trump attorney who has spent the last several years trashing President Trump, admitted on live TV that James Comey “likely committed a crime” and “will be found guilty.”

The left-wing network’s anchors weren’t prepared for Cohen’s blunt assessment.

Cohen, once weaponized by Alvin Bragg and Joe Biden’s DOJ in Trump’s sham New York trial, now says evidence in Comey’s case will prove that he broke the law and weaponized the FBI.

Cohen’s remarks were so unexpected that they left Elise Jordan gasping for air.

Elise Jordan:
You predicted this. Not that it’s a great development for the rule of law in our country. Did you think it would be this fast, though? And who do you think is next?”

Michael Cohen:
Well, is it about the rule of law? Do any of us actually really know whether or not Comey is or is not guilty of the charges? I know that they parade out all of these pundits — they have the great titles in the chyron: former prosecutor, former FBI. Who’s seen a single document that’s in the possession right now of the DOJ? The answer is nobody. Who has the crystal ball? Still nobody.

I will tell you, from my investigation — which I used Brian Karem, who’s a 30-year White House correspondent, to speak to people inside government because they wouldn’t talk to me — I’ve learned that Comey was actually very much involved in the Russia investigation in a very negative way. Chances are this DOJ has every single email, every text message, every communication. I believe, likely, he will be found guilty.”

Elise Jordan:
“Oh, well, that’s interesting, because a lot on the right —

Michael Cohen:
I think he likely committed a crime.

Elise Jordan:
What specifically?

Michael Cohen:
I believe, likely, he committed a crime. I don’t know what that crime is, but there are hundreds of thousands of documents, and the government has each and every one of them. All they need to find is that one. Remember, James Comey, when he was the head of the FBI, was so used to punching down. Well, now you have the FBI that’s going to be punching up. I’ve been through this system. I know better than anybody what a weaponized DOJ looks like and feels like. It is insurmountable.

MSNBC’s O’Leary: Not ‘Really Clear, Definable Ideology or Motive’ in Kirk Assassination

On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In,” MSNBC Security and Intelligence Analyst Christopher O’Leary discussed the shooting at an ICE facility in Texas and stated that “we have not seen, in this case, yet, and even not in the Charlie Kirk assassination, a really clear, definable ideology or motive.”

O’Leary said, “So, what we saw in Dallas, with the special agent in charge, the mayor, the chief of police, was a unified message putting out what they knew at the time, the resources that were being arrayed against understanding it better, and really just settling the public that there was no ongoing threat. And that was done well. And that’s — and there was unity amongst the interagency there.”

He continued, “And then you have Director Patel putting out information that is clearly, immediately trying to assign blame. And I don’t think we know enough, and I don’t think the FBI quite knows enough yet what the motivation is here. Does it look like there may be a political angle to this, based on the recovered evidence? For sure. Do I think there [are] trends that are moving in that direction, that we could see more violence emerging from the different sides of the political spectrum? Absolutely. But we have not seen, in this case, yet, and even not in the Charlie Kirk assassination, a really clear, definable ideology or motive.”

MSNBC’s Tom Homan ‘Scandal’ Has All The Earmarks Of A Hoax

fter nearly a decade of hoaxes — from Russiagate to Ukraine, from impeachment sagas to the circus around Brett Kavanaugh — the American public has been conditioned to expect another “bombshell” headline every few months. Now, right on schedule, a new one has emerged. This time, the target is Tom Homan, former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and now the border security czar in the Trump administration.

MSNBC’s Ken Dilanian and Carol Leonnig reported on Saturday that Homan had supposedly been ensnared in a sting operation run by the Biden-era Department of Justice and FBI in 2024. According to their story, undercover FBI agents posed as business executives seeking help in obtaining border security contracts. MSNBC claimed Homan accepted “$50,000 in cash after indicating he could help the agents — who were posing as business executives — win government contracts in a second Trump administration.”

Those are MSNBC’s exact words: “indicated he could help.” Not “said,” not “confirmed,” not “promised,” not “agreed.” Just “indicated.” That slipperiness alone should set off alarm bells. In legal and journalistic terms, it means nothing. At its most generous, it could be seen as a subjective impression. More realistically, it appears to be a deliberate attempt to insinuate wrongdoing without citing any evidence.

Tellingly, MSNBC’s story contains no direct quotes from Homan at all. When it references the alleged recording of his interactions with undercover agents, it only says that “hidden cameras [were] recording the scene at a meeting spot in Texas.” There is no transcript, no quotations, and no evidence of what Homan actually said. If Homan had said anything remotely incriminating, MSNBC would right now be airing it on a loop.

Perhaps the most glaring problem with the story is that if Tom Homan really had done anything wrong, why didn’t the Biden DOJ bring charges? This wasn’t Trump’s Justice Department in 2024. It was Merrick Garland’s DOJ and Christopher Wray’s FBI. If they had any evidence that Homan took a bribe or engaged in corruption, they would have prosecuted him instantly and with fanfare, especially given his reputation as one of the toughest immigration enforcers in the country.

Instead, the file was carried over into the Trump administration, where, according to a statement issued by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel, it was “subjected to a full review by FBI agents and Justice Department prosecutors” before being closed. That should have been the end of it. Yet someone has now leaked this non-story to MSNBC to create yet another hoax.

Which brings us to the messenger: Ken Dilanian.

Dilanian’s reputation in Washington is notorious. During the Russiagate years, he earned the nickname “Fusion Ken” for his uncanny habit of publishing exactly the kind of stories Fusion GPS, the Clinton-funded smear shop behind the Steele dossier, wanted in print. Discovery in lawsuits after the collapse of the collusion hoax uncovered emails showing Fusion GPS directing journalists to run stories, sometimes even giving them the exact framing to use. While Dilanian’s name did not appear in those specific exchanges, his track record speaks for itself. He was one of the most reliable megaphones for whatever narrative Clinton operatives wanted out there.

And that’s not all. Dilanian also sent draft articles to CIA officials for prepublication approval, even offering to make edits based on the agency’s feedback. In other words, he has literally acted as a mouthpiece for the intelligence community.

Watch This MSNBC ‘Misinformation’ Reporter Bend Over Backwards to Obscure Charlie Kirk Assassin’s Motives

MSNBC ‘misinformation’ reporter Brandy Zadrozny recently tied herself in knots on television, trying to excuse away the motives for Charlie Kirk’s assassin. The media coverage over the last few days has been awful in general, but this moment deserves some sort of award for blatant dishonesty.

Zadrozny insists that the messages scrawled on the bullets can’t be understood as a symbol of the shooter’s motive, even going so far as to suggest that the shooter might have put those messages there to assign blame to the left.

This is a perfect example of why even NBC no longer wants anything to do with MSNBC, which will soon be rebranded as an independent entity called MSNOW.

The Washington Free Beacon reports:

MSNBC Misinformation Reporter Suggests Kirk Assassin May Have Engraved ‘Hey Fascist’ on Bullet To ‘Set Up’ the Left

MSNBC reporter Brandy Zadrozny suggested Friday that Tyler Robinson, the suspect in Charlie Kirk’s assassination, could have been “trying to set up another ideological enemy for the shooting” by leaving anti-fascist references on the ammunition he used in Wednesday’s shooting.

Authorities revealed at a press conference Friday morning that a shell casing found with the rifle used to assassinate Kirk was engraved with a message that read, “Hey fascist! Catch!” Scrawled on another shell casing were the lyrics from a prominent Italian anti-fascist folk song…

Still, Zadrozny, an award-winning misinformation and internet extremism reporter, said it’s “impossible” to decipher why the alleged assassin decided to end Kirk’s life before offering up a number of theories.

“It’s really hard to tell when you look at what he put on these shell casings, allegedly,” Zadrozny said on MSNBC shortly after Cox announced Robinson’s arrest at a press conference Friday morning. “It’s hard to decipher if he really means them, if he’s trolling, if he’s making fun, if he is trying to set up another ideological enemy for the shooting.”

“It’s just impossible to say,” Zadrozny said.

All The Companies That Advertised On The MSNBC Segment Blaming Charlie Kirk For His Own Death

Numerous companies, including Pfizer, The Economist, and P&G brands, ran advertisements on Katy Tur Reports on MSNBC Wednesday, during which Tur and one of her guests smeared Charlie Kirk following the news that he had been shot. These and other companies did not commit to pulling their advertisements from MSNBC in response to a Federalist inquiry

Analyst Matthew Dowd was sacked from the network after his implication on Tur’s program that Kirk’s assassination was a natural response to his rhetoric. “I always go back to: Hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions. … [Y]ou can’t stop with these sort of awful thoughts you have, and then saying these awful words, and not expect awful actions to take place,” Dowd said.

The Federalist reached out to the companies (or their parent companies) listed below, asking whether they would publicly condemn the inappropriate comments made on Tur’s program, and whether they had plans to pull their advertising from MSNBC. Only one responded to the questions.

Pfizer, Kenvue (Listerine), The Economist, Pharmavite (Nature Made), Renewal by Andersen, P&G (Nervive and Zevo), AbbVie (Ubrelvy), Bayer (Aleve), Spectrum News 13, Spectrum Reach, Quincy Bioscience (Prevagen), GSK (whatisshingles.com), singlecare.com, Safelite, AliveCor (kardia.com), Morgan and Morgan law firm, Custom Ink, Bausch + Lomb (Blink NutriTears), Dexcom, Balsam Hill, Lipo Flavinoid, and Atlantis Consumer Healthcare (Senokot) were among the companies the Federalist contacted regarding their products’ advertisements.

P&G’s Herbal Essentials did not specifically condemn the comments but claimed “we don’t get to see the final program content, or indeed placement, before our adverts are aired.” They maintained “we support responsible broadcasters with our advertising” and said the matter “will be passed on to our brand team for consideration in the future.”

The Federalist was unable to get in contact with a media representative for Greenway Kia, who also ran an ad during the Katy Tur Reports segment.

MSNBC Fires Matthew Dowd For Suggesting Charlie Kirk Had It Coming; Liz Warren, Jen Psaki Double Down

MSNBC has fired political analyst Matthew Dowd, after he suggested that conservative activist and TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated on Wednesday, had it coming – Variety reports.

During coverage of Kirk’s shooting, anchor Katy Tur asked Dowd about “the environment in which a shooting like this happens” – a disgusting framing in itself, to which Dowd replied: “He’s been one of the most divisive, especially divisive younger figures in this, who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech or sort of aimed at certain groups. And I always go back to, hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions. And I think that is the environment we are in. You can’t stop with these sort of awful thoughts you have and then saying these awful words and not expect awful actions to take place. And that’s the unfortunate environment we are in.”

Dowd’s comments set off a firestorm online – resulting in a public apology from MSNBC president Rebecca Kutler, who called the statement “inappropriate, insensitive and unacceptable.”

“We apologize for his statements, as has he,” Kutler said from MSNBC’s X account. “There is no place for violence in America, political or otherwise.”

MSNBC Host Does Absolutely DEMENTED Monologue About How Democrats Need to ‘Start’ Fighting Dirty

For anyone who doesn’t remember, Ali Velshi of MSNBC is the guy who stood in front of a burning building during the 2020 riots and declared that the situation was mostly a protest.

Now he has just done a monologue on the air that must be witnessed to be believed.

Velshi thinks Democrats need to ‘start’ fighting dirty. Apparently, the non-stop investigations, frivolous lawsuits, meaningless impeachments and assassination attempts just weren’t dirty enough.

At one point in his insane rambling, Velshi declares that the Republican party is no longer functioning. That will be news to them, considering that they currently control all three branches of government and the Supreme Court.

Velshi also claims here that he is not a Democrat, and not here to do PR for Democrats, then goes on to do exactly that for almost eight minutes.

There are so many things wrong with this monologue that it’s amazing it made it to air, but it’s a window into the deluded mind of the left.

Partial transcript via Real Clear Politics:

ALI VELSHI, MSNBC HOST: Today we speak with some reverence about the U.S. Constitution. The document, remarkable for its time, that established our democracy and still guides and informs our rights and freedoms to this day. But when the U.S. Constitution was presented to the Founding Fathers for ratification, they weren’t universally enthusiastic about it.

In 1787, ever the optimist, 81-year-old Benjamin Franklin delivered his final speech to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia. He had to convince several delegates to sign on to the Constitution. Many of them harbored hesitations.

In fact, Franklin had a few himself. He acknowledged that the Constitution was indeed flawed and left space for the possibility that over time, as society and opinions changed, so would this document. But despite its faults, Franklin believed this Constitution was better than the alternative, living under a monarchy without representative democracy.

It was the no-kings movement of the time. Franklin was able to persuade the holdouts. The Constitution was signed, and the United States of America was born.

It is said that on the way out of the convention, Benjamin Franklin was asked what sort of government the delegates had just created. He responded, quote, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

Our Constitution, and more broadly, our democracy, has been resilient, more of a cactus than a rose. But it does require some attention. Even in easy times, this democracy needs care.

And we’re not in easy times. Right now, it’s in dire need of defense, and it needs defenders who are willing to do whatever it takes.

True democracy also requires the competition of ideas. When that does not exist, political parties stop functioning properly. And when even one of our two major parties stops functioning, democracy itself is put at risk.

We all know by now that the Republican Party is no longer a functioning political party in America. It is a fully captured vessel of authoritarianism, which makes it even more vital that the Democratic Party rise to this moment in defense of our democracy. But whether national democratic leadership is unwilling or simply unable to do so, they are largely not rising to this moment.
