Drama school tells students to report “microaggressions” on QR code system

Britain’s oldest drama school Lamda encouraged students to report microaggressions through QR codes placed around the school. The anonymous reporting system has been trialed and could be fully launched in the fall.

The QR codes at Lamda allowed students to access official complaint forms to report microaggressions they have experienced or observed at the campus. The complaints are logged and monitored to determine if “patterns are emerging.”

Critics have described the system as “totalitarian surveillance,” adding that it raises concerns of “culture denunciation.”

Brain Harris of Free Speech Union, said there are growing concerns about institutions of higher education launching systems that allow “sousveillance,” surveillance conducted by people in the group being surveilled.

“This can include procedures that facilitate students telling tales on one another – even by encouraging the disclosure of private social media messages – as well as the sort of “sousveillance” reported at Lamda,” Harris said, according to The Telegraph.

“Sousveillance is particularly insidious, as it makes teaching staff beholden at any given moment to the most hyper-sensitive (or vexatious) student in the seminar room. It openly cultivates a culture of fear-induced blandness.

Oregon ‘BIPOC’ teachers claims eye-rolling is an example of a ‘harmful practice rooted in White supremacy’

Oregon teachers at the Errol Hassell Elementary School sent school administrators an email claiming that eye-rolling directed at a principal, among other alleged actions they observed, is an example of a “harmful practice rooted in White supremacy” that is happening in the workplace.

The educators from the Beaverton School District said in an email on May 27 that they had become of aware of a “rumor” that Principal Cynthia Lam Moffett was on the chopping block.

“We believe that much of the resistance to Principal Moffett’s work… is a result of bias and targeted aggression. As BIPOC educators we have observed, experienced, and witnessed similar micro and macro aggressions,” the email said. BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous, and people of color.

The teachers included an extensive list of “micro and macro aggressions.” Many of them were concerning the staff’s responses to the principal. It said, “Staff members rolled their eyes during… meetings while Principal Moffett is speaking”

It continued, “Staff raised their voice and interrupted Principal Moffet during… meetings, and spoke in a disrespectful and aggressive manner.”

He Questioned Microaggressions. Then His University Gaslit Him, Claiming He Was A Threat, And Suspended Him From Campus

In one of the most bizarre campus stories in recent memory, a medical student at the University of Virginia posed mildly skeptical questions about microaggressions to a university panel. Afterward, his school claimed he was hostile, implied he was disrespectful to authority and a threat to future patients, and began investigating him. As anyone in this situation would, the student was confused and frustrated by the school’s actions. The school then used that confusion and frustration to further claim the student was unstable.

Impossible to believe? Well, Reason’s Robby Soave has the facts.

BLM Activist Sasha Johnson Calls For ‘Race Offenders’ Register’ For Microagressors

Radical ‘Black Panther’ Sasha Johnson has called for the creation of a “race offenders’ register” that would block people from securing work if they have been found to have made “microaggressions” and demanded that black people in the UK receive “Holocaust-style” reparations.

The radical activist first rose to prominence in July after a Breitbart London viral video showed Sahsa Johnson proclaiming that British police are “no different than the KKK” and calling for the establishment of a “Black Militia” to fight racism in Britain.

Since then, Johnson has joined the executive leadership committee of “the first black-led political party in the UK”, though she now claims it is merely “black founded” — the Taking The Initiative Party (TTIP).

Outlining the new party’s manifesto, Ms Johnson called for the creation of a “race offenders’ register” that would list those ‘guilty’ of microaggressions (the indirect, subtle, or unintentional discrimination against members of a marginalised group) and would bar them from “certain fields” of employment and even possibly ban the ‘offender’ from living near racial minorities.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Johnson said: “It’s similar to the sex offenders register. If you were to be racially abusive to someone, [the register] would question whether someone is fit enough to hold a particular job where their bias could influence another person’s life.”

‘Woke Distraction’: Royal Navy Bans Terms Like ‘Manpower’, ‘Unmanned’ Because Sexism

The UK’s Royal Navy has further succumbed to politically correct woke culture, reportedly banning the terms “unmanned” and “manpower” over concerns that using the phrases is “sexist”.

The professional head of the Naval Service, First Sea Lord Tony Radakin, reportedly ordered the banning of the phrases to create a more inclusive environment for female recruits to the Navy.

“The vast majority of people in the Navy accept that some terms are problematic or no longer appropriate. Leadership are keen to ensure that, where practicable, gendered terms aren’t used,” a Royal Navy source told The Sun.

The Canadian Royal Navy has announced that it will be looking for a replacement word for the rank of ‘seaman’ in favour of a term that is not gender-specific, as well as avoiding the double entendre.

Britain’s Royal Navy is also considering a change to the name as well, but as the source noted: “The problem is that sea-person sounds a bit rubbish. There’s a lot of history attached to the seaman rank, and we know there will be resistance.”

The politically correct pressure to change the language of the Royal Navy has drawn some pushback, with one senior officer telling the paper: “This is a pathetic, woke distraction from keeping Britain safe. The only reason to change the labels is if it is a barrier to recruiting women, but recruitment has never been stronger.”
