Trans ice rink shooter Robert Dorgan was cousins with the ex-wife he murdered

Deranged transgender gunman Robert Dorgan was cousins with his ex-wife, Rhonda Dorgan, whom he gunned down along with their son at a high school hockey game.

The twisted relationship emerged after records showed the killer had the same name as his murdered ex and her parents, who were also seriously injured in his rampage Monday, according to the Providence Journal.

A deep dive then showed that he and Rhonda were first cousins once removed when they tied the knot in 1992.

Dorgan had deliberately targeted his family at the high school hockey game in Pawtucket on Monday, killing Rhonda, their son, Aidan, and leaving her parents, Gerald and Linda Dorgan, fighting for their lives.

At first, the reason for the shooter having the same last name as his ex-wife’s parents was not immediately clear, but the outlet delved into their family tree via the 1950 Census.

Son of trans hockey shooter revealed to be arsonist who attempted to burn down black church as cops seize terrifying weapons stash

The son of the transgender shooter who opened fire at a high school hockey game is serving time in federal prison for setting fire to a black church.

Robert Dorgan, 56, who also went by ‘Roberta Esposito,’ took his own life after he fired shots inside the Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on Monday afternoon, killing his son Aidan Dorgan, 23, and his ex-wife Rhonda, 52.

Dorgan’s in-laws, Linda and Gerald Dorgan, both 75, and her friend Thomas Geruoso, 54, an assistant principal at Shea High School in Pawtucket also remain in critical condition at a local hospital following the rampage.

While investigating the shooting, authorities discovered that Dorgan was the biological father of Kevin Colantonio, 37, who tried to burn down the Shiloh Gospel Temple Ministries in North Providence two years ago.

North Providence Police Chief Alfredo Ruggiero Jr. told the Boston Globe that investigators made the connection on Wednesday and reviewed an interview they conducted with Colantonio’s mother, Marlyse Dunbar, following his arrest.

She told officers at the time that Dorgan – who has a Nazi-inspired tattoo on his bicep and voiced his support for ‘white power’ – was Colantonio’s father.

The development came as police released images of firearms they recovered after conducting a search of Dorgan’s apartment, work locker, and storage unit.

The images depicted a sawed-off shotgun and AR-15 style rifle seized from the storage unit. Two handguns were recovered at the scene of the massacre.

People close with the family have since told WPRI that Dorgan influenced his son’s dangerous fixation on race.

The son even scrawled white nationalist messages in notebooks seized by federal investigators following the fire on February 11, 2024.

One disturbing message read: ‘Hunt them down gun everyone down that isn’t white, if one is white spread the gospel. Always gibe our bloodline a chance.’

‘Eliminate Rich Snob global Elite Pastors, burn churches down to the ground, when congregants move to [the] next church, do the same,’ read another of Colantonio’s messages.

Authorities said Colantonio bought a Bic lighter and $10 worth of gas from a local gas station before walking over to the Shiloh Gospel Temple Ministries, a Pentecostal church with about 100, mostly black, members.

Once at the church, Colantonio poured gasoline around its base and ignited five different fires, all of which were quickly extinguished – but not before causing significant damage to the church.

‘Due to the damage, church congregants were prevented from enjoying their free exercise of religious beliefs as church services were canceled until the church could be reopened,’ federal prosecutors said.

Just one day after the blaze, court documents showed Colantonio privately messaged an unidentified family member and said no one in the community cared about the arson.

In those messages, he called the church ‘Atheist God mockers,’ adding: ‘They’re busy dancing around collecting money.’

The Violence From Trans iPad Kids Is About To Get A Lot Worse

There is an idea floating around right-wing circles, popularized by Rod Dreher in The Benedict Option, that normal families will need to strategically withdraw into intentional communities as mainstream culture continues its decline. I’ve been skeptical of this idea, having lived all my adult life in big cities, and have maintained a belief in engaging with the broader culture and fighting back where I can.

But after yet another massacre inflicted by a “person in a dress,” I am coming around to this idea of re-tribalization and expect elite society to increasingly revert into gated, high-trust enclaves. We are witnessing the very beginning of an epidemic of trans violence, which will accelerate this trend, because there’s little one can do to safeguard one’s children outside of a full retreat from mainstream society. I’m not thrilled about this, but your calculus changes when you have kids of your own. And the math is not looking good.

After Tumbler Ridge, Nashville, Minneapolis, Charlie Kirk’s assassination, and others, so-called experts are still saying the uptick in trans violence is a myth. And although a relatively large portion of the mass shootings of the last few years have been perpetrated by trans-identifying people on a per capita basis, it’s overall still a small number. But I suspect this trend is going to get harder to dismiss over time.

The trans mass shooter is a confused, lonely loser who’s had his brain discombobulated on a cocktail of sissy hypno porn, digital grooming, and experimental pharmaceuticals with irreversible effects. Everyone in his world (doctors, teachers, parents) is telling him he’s normal because, throughout the West, it’s de facto prohibited or, in some places, even unlawful to say otherwise. Everyone has to affirm and support his decision to take powerful hormones and drugs to feel normal, but he can never seem to quite achieve that elusive state of normalcy, so anything that punctures the delusion is perceived as an existential threat. A genocide, even.

Many of the kids who start down this path are realizing too late that there are no takebacks, and a dozen or so have already followed it to the bloody conclusion that we’re seeing splashed across headlines.

If you don’t have kids, you may not yet realize how much worse it’s going to get. But unlike today’s extremely online shooters, the generation just now becoming teenagers came online, often without any adult supervision, before they knew how to walk or talk.

Transgender shooter who murdered ex-wife and son at hockey game had Nazi tattoo

The transgender gunman who killed his ex-wife and son at a high school hockey match apparently had a Nazi-inspired tattoo on his arm.

Robert Dorgan, 56, who also went by the name ‘Roberta Esposito,’ was seen showing off a large SS symbol on his bicep in a photo posted to his social media pages, where he would often voice his support for ‘white power.’

The symbol was frequently used in Nazi Germany propaganda and signage.

In the center of Dorgan’s tattoo was a white skull and crossbones with glowing red eyes, known as Totenkopf or the ‘death’s head’ skull, which was used as a symbol of a branch of the SS ‘whose purpose was to guard the concentration camps,’ according to the Anti-Defamation League.

The symbol is now often used by neo-Nazis and other white supremacists ‘because of its importance to the SS.’

Dorgan also had a history of spreading antisemitic and racist rhetoric on social media, even posting an anti-Asian slur as he replied to a video praising Adolf Hitler just one day before he opened fire at the Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

That same day, Dorgan also threatened to go ‘BESERK.’

His son, Aidan Dorgan, 23, was killed alongside his mother Rhonda, 52, and three other family members were left critically injured in the rampage on Monday, which came to an end when the gunman took his own life.

The tragedy occurred just feet from where Rhonda’s youngest son Colin Dorgan, 17, was competing on the ice.

Chilling warning signs before ‘narcissistic’ trans dad ‘shot ex-wife and kids’ in hockey game bloodbath

The gunman who killed two people at a youth hockey game in Rhode Island appeared to post ominous warnings in the days before the deadly shooting.

An online profile that appears to belong to Robert Dorgan, 56, who also went by the name ‘Roberta Esposito‘, shared an eerie video of a woman running on a treadmill while loading ammunition magazines into a handgun and aiming.

In another post on X, a profile for ‘Roberta Dorgano’ threatened to go ‘BERSERK’ while defending transgender Congresswoman Sarah McBride.

‘Keep bashing us,’ they wrote Sunday. ‘But do not wonder why we Go BESERK.’

Just hours after the shooting, a woman who claimed to be Dorgan’s daughter claimed the gunman ‘has mental health issues’.

‘He shot my family, and he’s dead now,’ the woman told WCVB.

Dorgan’s wife, Rhonda, who was reportedly killed in the shooting, claimed on divorce documents that her husband displayed ‘narcissistic and personality disorder traits’.

Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves said Monday night that Dorgan entered the Dennis M Lynch Arena to watch a high school hockey match. The attacker then opened fire at around 2.30pm.

Dorgan, 56, of North Providence, who went by the name “Roberta Esposito,” or “Roberta Dorgano,” and identified as a “woman.”

Dorgan was the parent of a player on the North Providence High School team.

Transgender Canadian school shooter Jesse Van Rootselaar’s father distances himself from killer son: I ‘was not part of his life’

The estranged biological father of transgender school shooter Jesse Van Rootselaar is trying to distance himself from his murderous son — while referring to him with male pronouns and his mother’s surname.

Justin Van Rootselaar released a statement insisting he is not to blame for the heartbreak his 18-year-old son, Jesse, inflicted on the small community of Tumbler Ridge in British Columbia, Canada, when he gunned down eight people, including six children.

“I was estranged from Jesse Strang and was not part of his life,” he told the CBC in a statement, using the last name of the shooter’s mom, Jennifer Strang, who was among the eight shot dead Tuesday.

We Have Now Reached “Gunperson”-Level Absurdity

By now you’ve surely heard about Tuesday’s horrific school shooting in Tumbler Ridge—a tiny, remote Canadian town where the biggest excitement is probably a moose spotting on Nextdoor—that left nine people dead and more than two dozen injured. Monstrous would be an insult to monsters everywhere.

It’s the deadliest mass shooting Canada has seen in more than thirty years. The details are unimaginable, the community is destroyed, survivors are traumatized for life, and none of it is even remotely funny. The news coverage, however, could easily be nominated for a Primetime Emmy in the Outstanding Comedy Writing category.

Within minutes of the rampage, alerts went out describing the suspect as a “female in a dress.”

The minute I saw that, I knew.

I mean, have you ever—even once—seen an alleged perpetrator described as a “male in pants” or a “female wearing shoes?” Of course not! It’s “armed female” or “adult male” or, if the subject is still on the loose, maybe “a white male in a neon green hoodie and purple parachute pants.” But never-not-ever is it “a human in human clothing.” They only threw the dress part in there to avoid stating a politically inconvenient fact, upsetting advertisers, or toppling their own carefully constructed narrative.

By the time officials reached the podium to deliver a press briefing, the description had morphed into “a gunperson.” gunperson. As if the word “shooter” was insufficiently inclusive or somehow accidentally implied gender? The press spent more time agonizing over culturally sanitized euphemisms than reporting the actual details of the crime.

CONFIRMED: Canada School Shooter who Killed 9, Injured 25 Identified as Transgender Ex-Student Despite Officials’ Attempts to Hide Biological Gender

The suspect who opened fire on a school in British Columbia on Tuesday afternoon has been identified as biological male 18-year-old Jesse Van Rootselaar, a transgender ex-student at the school who began transitioning at approximately 12 years old.

Notably, this comes just months after a transgender shooter opened fire, shooting through the windows of the church at Annunciation Catholic School as students attended mass during the first week of the school year late last Summer. Robin Westman, who was born Robert Westman, glorified past shooters and hated God and religious conservatives, according to his manifesto, which was uploaded to YouTube videos prior to the shooting.

Now, it’s been confirmed that the shooter not only identified as transgender, but he had also been taken into custody for a mental health assessment and had firearms removed from his home previously, according to Royal Canadian Mounted Police Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald.

The New York Post reports that Van Rootselaar dropped out of the high school approximately four years ago.

More from the New York Post:

The horrifying attack, one of the deadliest shootings in Canada’s history, began Tuesday at a residence in the sleepy rural community of Tumbler Ridge, in the western province, and concluded at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School — where authorities say Van Rootselaar died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Van Rootselaar was identified Wednesday as the shooter by Royal Canadian Mounted Police Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald, who said he was “born a biological male … who approximately six years ago began to transition to female, and identified as female.”

Asked by a reporter whether he believes there was any correlation between Van Rootselaar identifying as transgender and the shooting, McDonald said it’s “too early to say.”

McDonald said police had visited the family home on multiple occasions over the last several years due to concerns over Van Rootselaar’s mental health.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald only admitted that the 18-year-old was born a male when he was pressed on why police were “hiding” the biological gender of the shooter.

“We identify the suspect as they chose to be identified in public and in social media,” he told reporters during a press conference earlier. “I can say that Jesse was born as a biological male, who approximately– the information that I have– approximately six years ago began to transition to female and identified as female both socially and publicly.

Jesse Strang, 18, named as Canadian school shooter who murdered eight before dying by suicide

A gunman who murdered nine people in the second deadliest school shooting in Canadian history has been named as Jesse Strang, who is reported to be transgender

Strang, 18, opened fire in the library at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia on Tuesday afternoon, a parent whose son attends the school told the Daily Mail. Six people were killed at the school and a seventh died en route to the hospital.

Strang took his own life at the school. He killed his mother Jennifer and brother Emmett at their home beforehand, CTV News reported.

Strang was named by police on Wednesday as Jesse Van Rootselaar. He is understood to have used his mother’s name, Strang, socially and at school.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police said Strang killed a female teacher, three girls and two boys aged between 13 and 17. They added that a tenth victim reported to have died after being rushed to hospital actually survived their injuries.

The parent, who requested to remain anonymous, said his son knew Strang’s family and played sports with one of his siblings.

His son was at the academic institution Tuesday when Strang carried out the deadly massacre. He is now ‘afraid to go back to school’, his father added.

Juno News and Western Standard News were among the first publications to identify Strang and described the shooter as a biological male who identifies as a woman named Jess.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police refused to confirm Strang’s identity and whether he was transgender after being contacted by the Daily Mail. Authorities have only identified the shooter as a ‘female in a dress’.

Six people were killed and 25 injured at the school and an additional victim died on the way to the hospital, police said. Two more people were found dead at a nearby home believed to be connected to the deadly attack.

Sources told the Daily Mail that Strang lived at the home with three relatives.

Strang’s uncle Russell, who told Juno News she was responsible for the shooting, said the suspected shooter was ‘transgender’.
