Pritzker Signs Law Limiting Federal Immigration Enforcement In Illinois

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker signed a bill into law on Dec. 9 that will limit federal immigration enforcement in the state, including in its courthouses and hospitals.

“With my signature today, we are protecting people and institutions that belong here in Illinois,” Pritzker said in a statement. “Dropping your kid off at day care, going to the doctor, or attending your classes should not be a life-altering task.”

HB 1312, which went into effect immediately, allows people to take legal action against law enforcement officers they believe violated their constitutional rights during civil immigration operations in the state.

The legislation also bars civil arrests in and around courthouses for anyone attending certain state court proceedings and provides a pathway for affected individuals to seek damages for false imprisonment.

Hospitals are required under the new law to restrict the release of protected health information and implement policies governing interactions with law enforcement agents, according to the governor’s office.

The bill also prohibits schools and child care centers from disclosing the actual or perceived immigration status of students, employees, or anyone associated with them to third parties unless required by law.

The National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) welcomed the governor’s move to sign the bill, calling it a “necessary legislative step” to protect people’s constitutional rights.

“The fear of being abducted by federal immigration agents when attending a hearing in state court is disrupting people’s ability to engage with the justice system for critical matters, such as seeking a protection order in a domestic violence situation or addressing a traffic ticket,” Cecilia Mendoza, NIJC associate director of government relations, said in a statement.

Homeland Security Department (DHS) spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said Pritzker violated the U.S. Constitution and his oath of office when he signed the bill into law.

The bill comes as the Trump administration has expanded immigration enforcement in Illinois, sparking protests near an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Chicago, which prompted President Donald Trump to deploy hundreds of National Guard troops to protect ICE personnel and facilities. A federal judge later issued an injunction to temporarily block the deployment.

According to a DHS statement on Dec. 8, Illinois released about 1,768 criminal illegal immigrants back into the community this year despite federal detainer requests. Those who were released were convicted of various crimes, including homicide, burglary, serious drug offenses, weapons offenses, and sexual predatory offenses.

ICE Says Democrat Rep. Adelita Grijalva ‘Joined the Rioting Crowd’ During Major Bust of Transnational Criminal Ring in Arizona, Attempted to Impede Agents, Lied About Being Pepper Sprayed

Democrat Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva has been accused by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of joining a violent mob that attacked federal agents during a major operation targeting a transnational criminal organization in Tucson, Arizona.

The raid, which resulted in the arrest of 46 illegal aliens, including a convicted sex offender, exposed a network involved in human smuggling, labor exploitation, tax violations, and immigration crimes.

Unfortunately, it was rocked by chaos as over 100 leftist activists arrived on the scene, assaulting officers and slashing their tires.

The operation took place on Friday, when ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Arizona team, along with partners including the IRS Criminal Investigation, Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), U.S. Border Patrol, and other federal, state, and local agencies, executed 16 federal search warrants.

These warrants targeted nine family-owned restaurants and seven associated stash houses in the Tucson area, including locations in Sierra Vista, Green Valley, Casa Grande, and Apache Junction.

The multiyear investigation aimed to dismantle a criminal syndicate exploiting American labor and commerce systems.

Among the arrests was a previously deported illegal alien who had served five years in prison for sexual assault and now faces charges for unlawful reentry.

The mission turned dangerous when rioters intervened at one restaurant location and over 100 agitators locked a gate to trap agents inside.

In a press release, ICE explained, “At one of the locations, over 100 agitators descended and attempted to impede law enforcement operations, locking a gate to trap agents within the perimeter of the restaurant. Agitators quickly turned violent, assaulting officers and slashing tires. An HSI Special Response Team was mobilized to regain control of the situation, where they were forced to deploy countermeasures.”

In a video posted on X, Grijalva described the targeted restaurant, Taco Giro, as a “mom-and-pop” spot she visits weekly and claimed she and her staff were aggressively pushed and sprayed while simply seeking clarification, invoking her congressional privileges.

MEMO: Joe Biden Was Warned His Immigration Policies Would Cause Chaos at the Southern Border – He Did it Anyway

As much as it seems like Joe Biden was not mentally present throughout his presidency and did not really have any idea what was going on, he apparently did get some warnings at the beginning.

In a newly unearthed memo, Biden was reportedly warned that his stance on immigration would cause chaos at the southern border and it certainly did.

We will likely be feeling the effects of Joe Biden’s awful presidency for years to come.

President Joe Biden was warned by advisers that his immigration plans could lead to “chaos” at the US border — but he ignored them, a newly uncovered memo reveals.

His team doled out the advice to Biden when he was still campaigning against President Trump back in 2020, the New York Times reported.

“A potential surge could create chaos and a humanitarian crisis, overwhelm processing capacities and imperil the agenda of the new administration,” Biden’s advisers wrote.

The memo warned that a huge influx was possible given Biden’s approach, a backlog from the Trump administration, and COVID hardships.

His team offered up steps that Biden, now 83, could take to thwart an influx of illegal migrants — including ways to reject immigration claims more easily, potentially holding asylum seekers in “reception centers” until their cases could be heard and transferring them to other countries.

Biden, however, opted to ignore the advice.

When Biden took office just months later, his policy advisers continued to urge the administration to crack down on border crossings and increase border enforcement.

Trump was elected in part to handle this problem and did he ever.

NYC’s Radical Socialist Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani Posts Video Coaching Illegals on How to Evade ICE – Urges People to ‘Stand Up’ to Feds

New York City’s incoming mayor, democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani, released a video on X Sunday morning offering step-by-step advice to illegal immigrants on thwarting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

Standing in front of a flip chart labeled “Know your rights,” Mamdani positioned himself as the defender of NYC’s “more than 3 million immigrants,” vowing to protect them from federal raids amid President Trump’s aggressive deportation agenda.

The video comes on the heels of a disrupted ICE raid in Chinatown last weekend, where nearly 200 protesters blocked agents from leaving a parking garage.

“Last weekend, ICE attempted to raid Canal Street and detain our immigrant neighbors,” Mamdani said in the video posted to X on Sunday. “As mayor, I’ll protect the rights of every single New Yorker. And that includes the more than 3 million immigrants who call this city their home.”

Mamdani continued, “But we can all stand up to ICE if you know your rights.”

“ICE cannot enter into private spaces like your home, school, or private area of your workplace without a judicial warrant signed by a judge,” Mamdani said.

“You have the right to say, ‘I do not consent to entry,’ and the right to keep your door closed,” he continued.

Mamdani showed an example of ICE paperwork that may be mistaken for a warrant.

“ICE is legally allowed to lie to you. But you have the right to remain silent. If you are being detained, you may always ask, ‘Am I free to go?’ repeatedly until they answer you,” Mamdani continued.

“You are legally allowed to film ICE, as long as you do not interfere with an arrest,” he stated.

Mamdani also not-so-subtly urged people to protest.

“New Yorkers have a constitutional right to protest, and when I’m mayor, we will protect that right,” Mamdani said.

PHOTOS: Illegal Alien Somali Fraudster Posed with Top Minnesota Democrats Before Arrest

The Somalian illegal immigrant and convicted fraudster who was seen in photos getting cozy with leading Minnesota Democrats has been arrested.

The news comes amid President Donald Trump’s efforts to safeguard Americans from illegal immigration and the crime that comes with it.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) nabbed Abdul Dahir Ibrahim and placed him inside the McCook ICE facility in Nebraska, the New York Post reported Friday.

The outlet then detailed his criminal background, including an arrest for providing false information to law enforcement, driving without a valid license in Minnesota, and numerous parking and traffic violations.

Despite his history, the man was able to meet several well-known Democrat politicians in Minnesota, and photos show him with leftist Gov. Tim Walz (D), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D), and former Minneapolis mayoral candidate Omar Fateh.

In a social media post on Friday, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said, “Criminal illegal alien, Abdul Dahir Ibrahim has been linked to Minnesota’s top sanctuary politicians. In these pictures Ibrahim can be seen with @GovTimWalz, @Ilhan, and @OmarFatehMN.”

“Ibrahim was convicted in Canada for Asylum and Welfare Fraud prior to his entry into the United States. On April 3, 2004, an immigration judge ordered Ibrahim removed, citing the significant amount of fraud associated with him. Bye-bye, Abdul,” the agency stated.

Generational Betrayal: HUD Reveals Biden Gave Illegal Aliens FHA-Backed Mortgages

HUD Secretary Scott Turner told Fox Business on Friday that illegal aliens received federally backed mortgages during the Biden–Harris regime years. Turner characterized this as a significant policy failure by the previous administration and evidence of what he called misplaced priorities that favored illegals over American homebuyers.

“You know, during the Biden Administration, there were over 12 million illegal aliens that came over the border, straining our housing supply and making the costs go up,” Turner told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo.

He continued, “And so we worked with Secretary Noem at DHS, as you alluded to, to make sure that only American citizens are living in HUD-funded housing. We also took away FHA-backed mortgages from illegal aliens. During the Biden Administration, they turned a blind eye. But we’re going to keep the law to make sure these mortgages, which are backed by the taxpayer, go only to the American people.”

“And lastly, we’re mandating every public housing authority give us a comprehensive account of who’s living in every unit and every taxpayer-funded HUD property.”

HORROR: Illegal Alien with Several DUIs and Deportation Order Kills 8-Year-Old Girl in Fiery SoCal Crash, Multiple Victims Injured

Gavin Newsom’s far-left sanctuary policies have deadly consequences.

An illegal alien took the life of an 8-year-old girl last weekend near San Diego, California, in a deadly collision. He had previous DUIs and was supposed to have been deported in 2023.

25-year-old Bryan Josue Alva-Rodriguez, who is originally from Guatemala, was charged with a DUI, vehicular manslaughter, and murder this past Wednesday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened in the afternoon on the rural county Highway S-2.

An illegal immigrant previously charged with DUIs and had an outstanding 2023 deportation has been charged in connection with a deadly head-on collision that killed an 8-year-old California girl over the weekend, authorities said.

Bryan Josue Alva-Rodriguez, 25, a Guatemalan citizen, was arraigned in the hospital, where he is being treated for his injuries, Wednesday on murder, vehicular manslaughter and DUI charges, according to California Highway Patrol.

“Now an innocent life has been lost in a tragedy that could have been prevented,” the San Diego office for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) wrote on X. “An immigration detainer will be placed on Alva as soon as he is formally charged.”

Alva-Rodriguez was driving a Toyota Tacoma and crossed the double yellow line. He hit a Toyota Camry that included three child passengers, ages 8, 5, and 4. All three children were taken to the hospital. The two younger ones, both boys, survived. The girl died from her injuries at the hospital.

Alva-Rodriguez’s truck also hit a Ford F-350 towing a trailer, causing him to flip his own truck, which then caught fire.

Fire authorities were also on the scene to help with the victims. They also had to rescue one person trapped in their vehicle and successfully put out the vehicle fire.

The massive collision resulted in five people being airlifted to the hospital, with four helicopters. The other three injured were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Alva-Rodriguez originally entered the US illegally in 2018 and was taken into custody by the Border Patrol in Calexico, California. According to ICE, he was released after being given a notice to appear before an immigration judge.

While here illegally, he managed to get two DUIs within about 7 months of each other in September 2020 and April 2021. In March of 2023, he was given a deportation order by a judge.

Alva-Rodriguez did not follow the judge’s orders and stayed in the United States.

New York Has RELEASED Nearly 7,000 Criminal Illegals with Active ICE Detainer Requests Back onto Street Since Trump Took Office – Lawless AG Letitia James Prosecuting Local Sheriffs for Working with ICE!

The state of New York has reportedly released nearly 7,000 illegal aliens from jail, including 29 individuals who were linked to homicide cases, in defiance of ICE detainer requests. 

Per the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), 6,947 illegals have been released, after committing 29 homicides, 2,509 assaults, 199 burglaries, 305 robberies, 392 dangerous drugs offenses, 300 weapons offenses, and 207 sexual predatory offenses.

Republican New York Congressman Claudia Tenney joined Fox’s Kayleigh McEnany on Saturday to discuss the new development.

She also revealed that Letitia James knows about this but “doesn’t care,” and she’s even trying to prosecute local sheriffs for cooperating with ICE. According to the New York Post, Attorney General Letitia James is snooping around and probing Oswego County Sheriff Don Hilton and the Nassau County Sheriff’s office for misconduct for cooperating with federal law enforcement.

Detained illegal immigrants will face $5K ‘apprehension fee’: Border Patrol chief

U.S. Border Patrol Chief Michael Banks announced that nearly all illegal immigrants detained will be charged a $5,000 “apprehension fee.”

In a post on X on Thursday, Banks said illegal immigrants ages 14 and older who entered the country without inspection will face a fee, a provision included in the “big, beautiful bill,” which President Donald Trump signed into law in July.

“This message applies to all illegal aliens — regardless of where they entered, how long they’ve been in the U.S., their current location, or any ongoing immigration proceedings,” Banks wrote.

The warning came after a lawsuit was filed Thursday against the federal government on behalf of 21,500 immigrants facing daily penalties of $998, reaching up to $1.8 million each for staying in the U.S. illegally. 

Their lawyers argued they were attempting to comply with federal immigration laws.

Full Metal Retard: Walz Rolls Out Taxpayer-Funded Paid Leave For Illegals

Less than one week after the NY Times (of all rags) torched Minnesota governor Tim Walz over a massive and sprawling fraud scandal involving Somalians that federal prosecutors say siphoned over $1 billion from the state’s social safety net programs, Walz is opening yet another avenue for fraud – giving taxpayer-funded leave illegal immigrants.

Under the Minnesota Paid Family and Medical Leave Program which Walz signed into law ahead of its Jan. 1 start date, “undocumented workers” will receive benefits, according to the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce’s FAQ page. 

The program provides payments to Minnesota residents who need time away from work for “serious health” reasons, or to take care of a family member – be it an infant or an ill relative, the Washington Examiner reports. What’s more, if an individual qualifies for both medical and family leave, they can “double dip” – getting taxpayer funds for a total of 20 weeks or 5.5 months, each year. These receiving benefits can also “top off” paid leave by using paid time off (PTO), sick days, and vacation hours in addition to their leave of absence. 

Program beneficiaries will receive between 55% and 90% of their regular wages while on paid leave – up to a maximum amount of $5,692 per month. 

“Are people going to abuse the program?” Walz replied when questioned on Tuesday at an event about potential fraud. “How disrespectful to people to assume that ailing Minnesotans are scamming. That’s what I hear from [critics] all the time. I trust Minnesotans.”

“I believe they know you’re not gonna get rich, and it’s not your full salary. You’re not gonna scam and take time off,” Walz continued. 

Meanwhile, Walz continues to downplay growing concerns after a $1 billion fraud was uncovered by City Journal, in which Somali immigrants were stealing welfare funds and funneling the money home to Somalia. 

The fraud involved a series of schemes that federal authorities say took root over the past five years, many centered within Minnesota’s Somali diaspora, where individuals established companies that billed state agencies for services that were never performed. Prosecutors say 59 people have been convicted across various cases so far, in three separate plots.
