ICE Arrests 460 Illegal Immigrants Accused of Violent Crimes in Less Than 36 Hours

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested close to 500 illegal immigrants accused of violent crimes in a period of 33 hours.

Between midnight on 21 January and 9am on 22 January, ICE arrested 460 illegal immigrants accused of a variety of violent crimes ranging from sexual assault to burglary, robbery and domestic violence.

“Agents arrested nationals from a slew of countries, including Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Senegal and Venezuela,” according to a report obtained by Fox News Digital.

“Arrests took place across the U.S. including Illinois, Utah, California, Minnesota, New York, Florida and Maryland.”

Detainees include Jesus Perez, a Mexican arrested in Salt Lake City for aggravated sexual abuse of a child; Jesus Baltazar Mendoza, who was arrested in St Paul for second degree assault of a child; and Colombian Andres Orjuela Parra, who was arrested in San Francisco for sexual assault.

Multiple members of the violent gang MS-13 have also been arrested.

“Right out of the gate it’s public safety threats, those who are in the country illegally that have been convicted, arrested for serious crime,” Tom Homan said, in an interview on Tuesday.

“But let me be clear. There’s not only public safety threats that will be arrested, because in sanctuary cities, we’re not allowed to get that public safety threat in the jail, which means we got to go to the neighborhood and find him.”

It’s being reported the Mexican government is building massive tent cities as it scrambles to respond to President Donald Trump’s new deportation policies.

Homan: Deportations Start Tomorrow with ‘Every ICE Office’, Focusing on Threats

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Evening Edit,” Border Czar Tom Homan stated that deportations will start on Tuesday with a focus on public safety and national security threats and the deportations won’t be in a specific city, rather “They’re going to do it throughout the country and we have offices throughout the country and every ICE office is going to be out there enforcing the law, starting tomorrow morning.”

Homan said, “Look the president’s been clear that, right out of the gate, we’re going to concentrate on public safety threats and national security threats. So, I can’t believe that any elected politician — I don’t care what party you’re from, why would you not want public safety threats out of your communities? That’s your number one responsibility as an elected official is the protection of your communities.”

Host Elizabeth MacDonald then asked, “So, the deportations are coming tomorrow?”

Homan answered, “Yeah, ICE is going to start doing their job tomorrow. They haven’t been able to do the job for the last four years and now they’re going to start enforcing the law like they should be.”

ICE Preparing ‘Big F–king Operation’ Raiding Sanctuary Cities IMMEDIATELY After Trump is Inaugurated, According to Report

Immigration and Customs Enforcement is going to launch a “big f–king operation” in sanctuary cities immediately after President-elect Donald Trump is inaugurated, according to a new report from the New York Post.

Raids will occur in major cities, including New York City and Chicago.

According to The Post’s sources, the operation will begin on January 21, just one day after President Donald Trump returns to the White House.

The report explains:

Starting Jan. 21, multi-day “ground operations” will be launched across cities that have served as safe havens for migrants because the local authorities do not cooperate with the federal government when it comes to immigration issues, sources said.

The massive sweep is likely to target people with removal orders, according to sources.

Trump’s incoming border czar Tom Homan has vowed that the mass deportations will begin on Day 1 to focus on illegal immigrants who pose threats to the country.

Citing an unnamed source, The Post reports that ICE has paused arrests to make room for the massive influx of illegal aliens picked up in the raids.

“We aren’t arresting anyone and bringing them into custody, making room for what may happen next week,” the report quotes the source saying.

On Friday, the Wall Street Journal reported that over 200 ICE agents will be deployed to Chicago alone.

Trump’s incoming border czar Tom Homan appeared to confirm the report during an appearance on Fox News later in the day.

“It’s going to be a big raid all across the country,” Homan said.

Tennessee AG Exposes ICE Plan to Release Illegal Aliens Convicted of Violent Crimes Into State

The Tennessee Attorney General’s Office announced that efforts by the governor and other state lawmakers were successful and ultimately stopped a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) plan to release illegal immigrants, including convicted criminals, into the state.

State Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti announced Wednesday that after a lawsuit was filed by the AG’s office, ICE was forced to produce previously undisclosed information about the agency’s planned release of thousands of detained migrants, including convicted criminals.

The office said it obtained hundreds of pages of documents that shed light on federal authorities’ since-abandoned plan to transport potentially thousands of “single adult” immigration detainees into Tennessee.

LEXISNEXIS IS SELLING YOUR PERSONAL DATA TO ICE SO IT CAN TRY TO PREDICT CRIMES

THE LEGAL RESEARCH and public records data broker LexisNexis is providing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement with tools to target people who may potentially commit a crime — before any actual crime takes place, according to a contract document obtained by The Intercept. LexisNexis then allows ICE to track the purported pre-criminals’ movements.

The unredacted contract overview provides a rare look at the controversial $16.8 million agreement between LexisNexis and ICE, a federal law enforcement agency whose surveillance of and raids against migrant communities are widely criticized as brutal, unconstitutional, and inhumane.

“The purpose of this program is mass surveillance at its core,” said Julie Mao, an attorney and co-founder of Just Futures Law, which is suing LexisNexis over allegations it illegally buys and sells personal data. Mao told The Intercept the ICE contract document, which she reviewed for The Intercept, is “an admission and indication that ICE aims to surveil individuals where no crime has been committed and no criminal warrant or evidence of probable cause.”

While the company has previously refused to answer any questions about precisely what data it’s selling to ICE or to what end, the contract overview describes LexisNexis software as not simply a giant bucket of personal data, but also a sophisticated analytical machine that purports to detect suspicious activity and scrutinize migrants — including their locations.

THAT’S WEIRD? California Officials REFUSE to Allow Paul Pelosi’s Attacker David DePape to Be Interviewed by ICE

ICE officials are not allowed to talk to illegal alien David DePape.  They are being blocked by California officials.

Jon Feere, a former senior advisor, COS, Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE), posted this on his Twitter account on Sunday.

FYI: Sources in ICE tell me that San Francisco is not allowing officers to interview Paul Pelosi’s attacker, David DePape; i.e., Dems and SFPD are siding with the alleged attacker. ICE routinely interviews jailed aliens to determine appropriate next steps, background, etc.

DHS’s statements on DePape have been short and vague, likely because ICE hasn’t had a chance to talk with him. The Sheriff SF has a pro-criminal alien policy (SFSD 2-39) that blocks DHS and ICE from interviewing jailed illegal aliens. (Pages 271-77)

Why are California politicians Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris, and Speaker Pelosi okay with DePape being shielded from DHS? Is DHS Secretary Mayorkas not trying to get access, happily siding with the criminal alien instead of his own employees? What might ICE learn from an interview?

Earlier this year while speaking at the Conference of Mayors, Secretary Mayorkas claimed he would ask cities to “reconsider” their non-cooperation with ICE. Seems this would be a good opportunity, but he’s remained quiet.

‘Like an Experimental Concentration Camp’: Whistleblower Complaint Alleges Mass Hysterectomies at ICE Detention Center

Several legal advocacy groups on Monday filed a whistleblower complaint on behalf of a nurse at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center documenting “jarring medical neglect” within the facility, including a refusal to test detainees for the novel coronavirus and an exorbitant rate of hysterectomies being performed on immigrant women.

The nurse, Dawn Wooten, was employed at the Irwin County Detention Center (ICDC) in Georgia, which is operated by LaSalle Corrections, a private prison company. The complaint was filed with the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) by advocacy groups Project South, Georgia Detention Watch, Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights, and South Georgia Immigrant Support Network.

Multiple women came forward to tell Project South about what they perceived to be the inordinate rate at which women in ICDC were subjected to hysterectomies – a surgical operation in which all or part of the uterus is removed. Additionally, many of the immigrant women who underwent the procedure were reportedly “confused” when asked to explain why they had the surgery, with one detainee likening their treatment to prisoners in concentration camps.

ICE Agents Complain About Nazi Comparisons, Say They’re Only Enforcing the Laws

Another agent complained of being seen as “the bad guys” in society.

“We constantly look like we’re the bad guys, when all we’re doing is enforcing the laws and doing our job,” the agent says.

“It gets to me sometimes, it does,” she says. “Cause, I just feel like, you know, we have no respect.”
