Joe Biden’s Missing Migrant Children Scandal Gets Even Worse, Hotline Info Revealed

A hearing held this week by the House Committee on Homeland Security revealed that a hotline operated by the Biden-Harris administration to report concerns about unaccompanied migrant children failed to respond to 65,000 calls between August 2023 and January 2025.

The hearing focused on the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the current immigration system and their interaction with federal agencies.

Lawmakers examined how the Biden-Harris administration has managed the care and oversight of unaccompanied migrant minors.

One of the primary witnesses was Ali Hopper, the founder and president of GUARD Against Trafficking.

Hopper testified that criminal networks have exploited weaknesses within the immigration system, including both federal agencies and NGOs involved in the placement and monitoring of migrant children.

“These agencies have been hijacked by criminal networks,” Hopper told the committee.

She also described widespread mismanagement and lack of accountability across the system.

Customs and Border Protection Raid Human Smuggling Hub in Los Angeles Linked to Iranian Terror Suspects

A massive human smuggling ring with Iranian terror ties was busted up by the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP), raising more concerns about potential terror sleeper cells in America as the Iran-Israel war continues.

The CBP revealed on Friday night that it had executed a federal search warrant at a human smuggling hub in Los Angeles tied to national security threats from Iran.

During the operation, two people were arrested thanks to a combined effort from the CBP’s Special Response Team, Border Patrol tactical units, and Air and Marine Operations.

CBP noted that seven Iranian nationals were arrested at the same address earlier in the week. These included ones on the FBI Terror Watchlist and associates of an Iranian human trafficking network.

The agency also said that the house has been repeatedly used to harbor illegal aliens linked to terrorism.

This news comes as the Trump Administration made a massive nationwide bust just a few days ago, which sent shockwaves across the Internet.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Tuesday arrested 11 Iranian nationals found to be living in the country illegally, including individuals with suspected terrorist ties and significant criminal histories.

These individuals were apprehended from eight states, including Minnesota, Mississippi, Alabama, California, New York, Colorado, and Texas.

Judge Rules MS-13 Gang Member Kilmar Abrego Garcia Should NOT be Detained on His Criminal Charges of Child Trafficking – DOJ Appeals

Federal magistrate judge Barbara Holmes on Sunday ruled MS-13 gang member and wife beater Kilmar Abrego Garcia should not be detained on his criminal charges.

Abrego Garcia will likely remain in custody on an ICE detainer.

“As required by the Bail Reform Act, the Court has reviewed the evidence presented at the June 13 hearing and considered the parties’ arguments and the Pretrial Services report. For the reasons detailed below, the government’s motion for detention is DENIED. Specifically, the Court finds that no detention hearing is authorized under the Bail Reform Act in this case because the government failed to prove that this case involves: (1) a minor victim within the meaning of § 3142(f)(1)(E); (2) a “serious risk” that Abrego will flee, as required by § 3142(f)(2)(A); or, (3) a “serious risk” that Abrego will obstruct justice or otherwise interfere with the integrity of this proceeding, as required by § 3142(f)(2)(B),” the judge wrote in a 51-page memo.

Earlier this month Kilmar Abrego Garcia pleaded not guilty to human trafficking charges as and fought for his release pending trial.

Abrego Garcia appeared in a Nashville court clad in a red jumpsuit.

A federal grand jury in Tennessee recently indicted Kilmar Abrego Garcia for “transporting undocumented migrants within the United States.”

He was charged with one count of conspiracy to transport aliens and one count of unlawful transportation of undocumented aliens.

According to the indictment, Kilmar Abrego Garcia and co-conspirators from El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico and the US were trafficking illegal aliens from 2016 through 2025.

Cops remove 88 children from a Bible study camp in Iowa as part of a human trafficking investigation: officials

Deputies raided an Iowa church and removed 88 children participating in a Bible study camp as part of a sweeping human trafficking investigation, police said Monday.

The youngsters are now in protective custody of local agencies after they were taken from the Shekinah Glory Camp run by Kingdom Ministry of Rehab and Recreation, according to police and local reports.

Deputies executing search warrants removed the children over the weekend and took them to nearby Wapello Methodist Church to meet with child protection workers, deputies told KWQC.

The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services placed the children in temporary foster care until they could be reunited with their parents or guardians, deputies added.

The Kingdom Ministry of Rehabilitation and Recreation, founded in 2018, was hosting the summer camp from June 8 to 29.

The family behind the ministry that runs the camp in Columbus Junction denied the allegations, according to WQAD8.

The $13 Billion Secret: How Obama’s DACA and Biden’s Open Borders Fund Cartels and Human Trafficking

Bottom Line Up Front: Immigration policies that create pathways to legalization, including programs like DACA, inadvertently signal that illegal entry can lead to permanent status, fueling a massive criminal enterprise that generates billions for cartels while subjecting migrants to exploitation and trafficking.

The data reveals that the U.S.-Mexico border has been transformed into a cartel-controlled profit center. Cartels and “coyotes” are reportedly earning around $13 billion a year by smuggling migrants across the United States/Mexico border, an amount that has soared from the 2018 number of just $500 million, representing a 2,500% increase in just five years.

This explosive growth coincides with Biden-era open border policies, expanded asylum processes and legalization programs that signal potential pathways to permanent status. 80 percent of unlawful border-crossers hire smugglers, according to a 2023 report by the Department of Homeland Security, demonstrating how thoroughly criminal organizations have monetized illegal immigration.

Border Patrol sector chiefs confirm unprecedented criminal control over migration routes. ‘Now nobody crosses without paying the cartels,’ testified Chief Patrol Agent John Modlin. Those who try to bypass the criminal networks face severe consequences, including beatings.

The financial incentives driving this criminal enterprise are enormous. Smuggling fees range from $2,000 to $40,000, with cartels taking a substantial cut at every stage. For most migrants, this represents years of savings, an investment they’d only make if they believed there was a real chance of staying in the U.S. If they thought they would be turned away at the border, jailed, or deported upon capture, they wouldn’t take the risk.

Many migrants go into debt or even enter into forms of indentured servitude to the cartels to cover the cost of being trafficked. This often results in exploitation, forced prostitution, and other abuses. It also fuels the ranks of street-level criminals distributing drugs for cartel-connected gangs inside the United States.

The promise of potential legalization has fueled a massive human trafficking pipeline. Smuggling migrants has become one of the top revenue streams, alongside drugs and extortion, for criminal organizations like Mexico’s Sinaloa and Jalisco cartels. Children are especially vulnerable in this system. One study estimates that nearly 60% of unaccompanied minors crossing the border are intercepted by cartels and forced into child pornography or drug trafficking.

The scale is staggering: during the Biden era (2021–2024), encounters of unaccompanied children at the U.S. border surged to 546,255. Trafficking children is not only profitable for the cartels, it is also incentivized by U.S. policies like DACA, which shield minors from deportation. These policies contribute to the liberal narrative that “families are being torn apart” when illegal immigrant parents are deported but choose to leave their U.S.-born “anchor babies” or DACA-protected children behind.

According to Pew Research (2024), roughly 4.4 million U.S.-born children under 18 live with an illegal immigrant parent. The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program protects many who entered the country illegally as minors, offering legal protections and work authorization. Even the program’s name, “Dreamers”, sends a message of opportunity, reinforcing the belief that entering the U.S. illegally with children can eventually lead to legal status. As of March 31, 2024, there were over half a million active DACA recipients in the country.

Human trafficking hotline contractor under scrutiny over ‘revolving door’ allegations

The Polaris Project, which oversees the hotline that whistleblowers say regularly fails to refer tips to law enforcement for investigation, has longstanding ties to the Department of Health and Human Services office that oversees its grant, raising concerns about whether the nonprofit is facing proper scrutiny for its contract.

Polaris, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that administers the National Human Trafficking Hotline, has faced scrutiny from Congress in recent months after whistleblowers came forward alleging that the hotline was failing to report tips to law enforcement over several years, generating concerns from state attorneys general, Just the News previously reported

Last month, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, presented evidence turned over to Congress by an anonymous employee of Polaris detailing the prior allegations. The whistleblowers’ disclosures, Grassley wrote, “appear to confirm the allegations that Polaris is not reporting instances of potential human trafficking to law enforcement.”

Grassley’s letter highlighted that earlier this year, Polaris’ hotline failed to report to law enforcement at least two instances of possible sex trafficking involving minors. Polaris says that it “supports survivors’ right to choose what those next steps might be” including reports to law enforcement, “[except] in situations involving potential abuse of a minor or if we believe a person is in imminent danger.”

The whistleblower evidence follows repeated letters from bipartisan groups of state attorneys general raising concerns with the federal health agency that Polaris was failing to report tips to its hotline despite the million-dollar contract and efforts by past administrations to ensure the nonprofit was better cooperating with local law enforcement. The most recent letter was delivered to HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy in February and signed by 41 state attorneys general.

Mother who SOLD her daughter, six, after ‘healer’ wanted child ‘for her light eyes and skin’ is jailed for life in South Africa – as girl remains missing

A mother who sold her six-year-old daughter to a ‘healer’ for just £800 has been jailed for life in South Africa.

Racquel ‘Kelly’ Smith, 35, was convicted of kidnapping and trafficking along with her boyfriend Jacquen Appollis and their friend Steveno van Rhyn.

Little Joshlin Smith, who has a fair complexion and turquoise eyes, disappeared last February after vanishing outside her home in Saldanha Bay, near Cape Town – and has not been seen since.

A court heard during the six-week trial how Smith was sought out by a ‘healer’ for her ‘light eyes and skin’, with the mother reportedly only receiving around £800 for her.

‘On the human trafficking charge, you are sentenced to life imprisonment. On the kidnapping charge, you are sentenced to 10 years imprisonment,’ Judge Nathan Erasmus told the trio.

He said he ‘drew no distinction’ from each other in their evil crime and the cold-hearted group showed no emotion as their sentences were read out.

The shocking trial has captivated South Africa for the last few months, with Joshlin still missing despite a major search operation.

Joshlin’s grandmother, who now cares for her daughter’s eldest child, pleaded with Smith ahead of the sentence to ‘bring my [grand]child back or tell me where she is’.

Amanda Smith-Daniels later told local broadcaster Newzroom Afrika that ‘I don’t feel that any sentence they get will bring my grandchild back.’

Her family has been left ‘broken’, she said, and she condemned her daughter for blaming others over the tragedy when she ‘was the person that did the deed’.

‘How do you sleep [and] live with yourself?’ she asked the callous mother in her victim statement on Wednesday after it was revealed by a social worker Joshlin had been living a life of neglect.

Smith and her accomplices refused to testify during the trial or call on any witnesses for their defence but more than 30 people were brought in to tell the court about Joshlin’s troubled life and disappearance.

Lourentia Lombaard, Smith’s friend and neighbour, told the community centre acting as a court so locals could attend that Smith had admitted to her she had done ‘something silly’ in a shocking confession.

In the days before Joshlin disappeared, the mother confessed to her that she had sold her child to a ‘sangoma’ – a traditional healer.

Ms Lombaard said she later saw Smith pack some of Joshlin’s clothing into a black bag, which she was carrying when she met a woman she believes was the sangoma.

Smith climbed into a white car with Joshlin and the sangoma and they drove away, according to Lombaard.

One of Joshlin’s teachers said Smith told them during one of the searches for Joshlin that she was already ‘on a ship, inside a container, and they were on the way to West Africa’.

Police: Fmr NFL linebacker among over 250 people arrested in human-trafficking sting operation

A former NFL linebacker is among more than 250 individuals arrested in connection with a human trafficking sting operation in Florida.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has announced that Adarius Taylor – who played seven NFL seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Carolina Panthers, and the Cleveland Browns –  was arrested last month as part of the “Operation Fool Around and Find Out.”

The former athlete’s original last name was Glanton, but he legally changed it to Taylor to honor his father.

According to a report by the Orlando Sentinel, Taylor, 34, even brought his 6-year-old to the alleged “sting site” — leaving the child in the car as he went inside.

Sheriff Grady Judd explained that the child has since been taken into custody by the Florida Department of Children and Families.

“Obviously he must have hit one too many people as a linebacker, because his brain cells are scrambled,” Judd said.

The former NFL line-backer has now been charged with felony negligent child abuse without bodily harm and misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution.

Taylor was one of 255 people — including 36 illegal immigrants— who were arrested in the nine-day police operation, between May 2nd and May 10th

Whistleblowers say human trafficking hotline operator failed to report tips to law enforcement

The Polaris Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that administers the National Human Trafficking Hotline, regularly fails to refer tips to law enforcement for investigation, whistleblowers told the Senate Judiciary Committee, confirming an earlier complaint from a bipartisan group of state attorneys general. The Polaris Project in 2023 received $4,831,020 in government grants, according to the charity’s IRS filings

The National Human Trafficking Hotline says that it is supported by the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award totaling $5 million annually.

In a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy, whose agency oversees Polaris’ use of ACF funding, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley presented the evidence turned over to Congress by an anonymous employee of Polaris and detailed the allegations.

The whistleblowers’ disclosures, Grassley wrote, “appear to confirm the allegations that Polaris is not reporting instances of potential human trafficking to law enforcement.”

Neither Project Polaris nor the Health and Human Services department responded to requests for comment from Just the News.

Convicted Human Smuggler Who Owned Vehicle in 2022 Traffic Stop Admits to Hiring Kilmar Abrego Garcia for MULTIPLE Human Smuggling Operations

The Tennessee Star confirmed Tuesday that Jose Ramon Hernandez Reyes—an already convicted human smuggler and repeat border violator—has admitted under immunity to hiring El Salvadoran national Kilmar Abrego Garcia for a string of human trafficking operations across the United States.

The revelation follows a controversial 2022 Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) traffic stop where Abrego Garcia was caught transporting nine illegal immigrants through Tennessee without a license.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) pulled over Abrego-Garcia on November 30, 2022, for speeding and swerving. When troopers approached his vehicle, they were shocked to discover eight male passengers packed inside.

Initially claiming he was driving from St. Louis to his Maryland residence, he later said he was headed to another town for “construction work.”

All passengers gave the same address as Abrego-Garcia, yet there was no luggage in the vehicle—a red flag for human trafficking. The trooper noted $1,400 in cash on Abrego-Garcia, likely payment for smuggling, and an invalid Maryland driver’s license.

“He’s hauling these people for money,” one trooper said in the bodycam footage, obtained by Fox News Digital through a public records request.

When the trooper asked whose vehicle he was driving, Abrego-Garcia replied that it belonged to his “boss.”

Turns out, that so-called “boss” was none other than Jose Ramon Hernandez Reyes—a convicted human trafficker. Reyes pleaded guilty to conspiring to smuggle illegal aliens across the country and was sentenced in 2020.  This bombshell was confirmed after The Tennessee Star got its hands on damning court documents.

Despite the overwhelming evidence — the cash, the fake Maryland driver’s license, the contradictory statements, the gang affiliation, and a pattern matching known trafficking operations — ICE failed to respond when contacted, according to Fox News.

After THP took Abrego-Garcia into custody, they contacted the FBI for guidance. In a move that defies logic, Joe Biden’s FBI ordered THP to release him.
