Demonic Possession? Cops Say It Was Like ‘Third Person’ Present as They Questioned Woman Who Stabbed Toddler in Chest After Musing Over Human Sacrifices

Was it a case of demonic possession?

That’s what has many people wondering after a young woman was arrested following what police say was a case of attempted human sacrifice in New Jersey.

According to multiple reports, 20-year-old Marlene Rodriguez of Brick Township, New Jersey, brought up human sacrifice with her cousin just hours before she allegedly stabbed her brother multiple times.

She’s now charged with attempted murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to Patch.com.

The New York Post reported that not only did Rodriguez tell police that voices instructed her to do it, but that she started talking as if a third person was telling her not to tell police what happened.

The attack happened on Nov. 1. According to documents filed by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, Brick Township police were called to a home at just before 2:30 p.m. that day to find a 2-year-old boy who had been stabbed in the chest.

He was conscious and alert at the time of the arrival and was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

He was in stable condition as of Nov. 8, with both a punctured lung and a cut wall to his heart.

“At the scene, police learned Rodriguez had stabbed the boy, and after reading her rights to her, she told police she had stabbed her brother,” Patch reported.

“During interviews at police headquarters, detectives spoke with Rodriguez’s cousin, who told them about the conversation earlier in the day. The cousin said Rodriguez asked her if she had ever sacrificed anyone, and if so, who. The cousin said she replied by asking Rodriguez if she had sacrificed anyone, and Rodriguez did not answer.”

Then, not long afterwards, Rodriguez’s sister heard the 2-year-old crying and saw the injuries, with a knife on the floor next to him.

THE MOST SHOCKING STORIES OF HUMAN SACRIFICE IN HISTORY

To many of us in the modern world, the idea of human sacrifice seems so strange and distant that it may as well be part of some half-remembered myth. Yet, there’s no ignoring the evidence left by societies across time and the globe: human sacrifice really did happen. Whether it’s physical clues excavated by archaeologists or written records from alleged eyewitnesses to sacrificial rituals, the sheer volume of it all means that we simply have to acknowledge that human sacrifice has happened.

That great number of cases also means that some sacrificial practices stand out for a variety of shocking reasons. A few are notable for the confounding number of people who may have been subjected to life-ending rituals, while others garner attention for the unique and protracted sequence of events that got people to a sacrificial site. For instance, the Incan children who were subject to mountaintop sacrifices now known as capacocha often went through months of good treatment and ritual preparation after they were selected for the rite, followed by a long hike to a cold and distant peak. Yet more cases of sacrifice have gone down in history for the striking ways in which remains were treated during or after the rite, leaving future humans to uncover the results centuries after the sacrifice was over and archaeologists to puzzle over their findings for generations.

Victims of a Nazi human sacrifice: Five skeletons discovered under Goering’s house at the Wolf’s Lair, buried naked surrounded by ancient talismans and missing their hands and feet are feared to have met a most terrible fate

As the monster who was responsible for creating the Gestapo and building the first Nazi concentration camps, Hermann Goering was one of Hitler’s most ruthless henchmen.

Yet nothing could have prepared a team of amateur archaeologists for what they were about to find in the basement of his former home in the Wolf’s Lair — the Nazis’ headquarters in what is now north-eastern Poland.

Set in dense forest, with barbed wire, guard towers and minefields all around, the once-impregnable complex of some 200 houses, bunkers and other buildings was where Hitler and senior Nazis planned the barbarities of the Holocaust and military campaigns such as Operation Barbarossa, their invasion of the Soviet Union.

They destroyed much of the base before fleeing the Red Army in January 1945 and today the mossy ruins are a tourist attraction drawing more than 200,000 visitors a year — among them a Gdansk-based team of German and Polish history buffs.

For years the archeological researchers have been unearthing ordinary items such as crockery and tools. But this month they revealed how, back in February, they entered the ruins of Goering’s once-imposing brick home and noticed a concrete ledge which had at one time supported a wooden floor. While digging for the nails which might have held it together, they found a human skull.

Alleged satanic cult killer Ethan Myers arrested after chilling ‘human sacrifice’

Three people believed to be satanic cult members have been arrested for the gruesome alleged murder of a woman as part of a “human sacrifice”.

Sarah Hopson was found brutally slain at her mobile home in Texas, USA, last Sunday during a welfare check, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

The 36-year-old had allegedly been bashed in the head with a rock, while her fingers, toes and ears had been cut off and placed in a plastic bag.

She had large wounds to the right side of her head and forehead, while her lifeless body was reportedly wrapped up in a carpet.

Police arrested Ethan Kyle Myers, 26, on Thursday, after two people – who were also arrested in connection to the murder – asked police to check on the woman.

The pair, Allen Price and Teresa Louviere, reportedly told officers that “Ethan Myers had done something to Sarah Hopson”.

They allegedly told officers that he was staying in their home and had been “acting strange” before fleeing their house covered in blood.

Mr. Price reportedly also told police that Ethan had been involved in “cult activity”.

This claim was also backed up by Ethan’s mother, who allegedly revealed to officers that her son was “hearing voices” and was “satanic” and that he was hiding out in the woods to avoid being arrested.
