Watchdog found $7B in untapped FEMA funds — even though DHS Secretary Mayorkas said none available for future disasters

A Department of Homeland Security inspector general’s report from August reveals more than $7 billion remain in emergency funding that could be used for natural disasters — even though DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said last week none was available after Hurricane Helene.

Mayorkas, 64, told reporters following the devastation of Helene in North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) “does not have the funds” to endure more hurricanes this fall.

“We are expecting another hurricane hitting,” the DHS chief said Oct. 2, days before Hurricane Milton began picking up speed in the Gulf of Mexico. “We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season and what is imminent.”

But DHS Inspector General Joseph Cuffari found in his Aug. 14 report that as of October 2022, FEMA had $8.3 billion in unliquidated funds meant to relieve declared disasters from 2012 or earlier.

More than $7 billion of that “could potentially be returned to the Disaster Relief Fund,” the report notes, referring to FEMA’s dedicated fund for natural calamities.

As North Carolina Flood Victims Begged For Help, Mayorkas Went Boutique Shopping In Georgetown: Report

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas reportedly went on a luxury shopping spree in Georgetown this weekend as residents across southern Appalachia continue to beg for emergency supplies.

“Mayorkas, who was impeached by the House of Representatives earlier this year for his handling of the border crisis, was spotted by the Washington Free Beacon strolling through the mens section of Sid Mashburn, a high-end menswear store, surrounded by security,” the Washington Free Beacon reported Saturday. “He appeared to purchase some items at the store, where suit jackets go for as much as three thousand dollars.”

The Beacon noted that there are still more than 170,000 power outages in North Carolina “alone” and the death toll from Hurricane Helene stands at 227. Residents across flooded out regions of southern Appalachia, however, have been left without immediate disaster relief from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), an agency Mayorkas oversees as part of the Department of Homeland Security.

“They desperately need oxygen for stranded home-bound seniors. They need food, clean water, and shelter,” The Federalist’s Matt Kittle reported Friday. “Sadly, they also need bodybags.”

Residents have “been literally begging FEMA officials for critical supplies.”

Hurricane Helene crashed into Florida as a Category 4 storm and poured a record-breaking 40 trillion gallons of water across the South, washing away entire Appalachian towns. FEMA is typically proactive in disaster-response efforts, with pre-staged supplies set up where storms are estimated to hit, but such support was completely absent before the torrential downpours in Appalachia.

Last week, Mayorkas responded to the crisis by telling reporters FEMA was low on money.

“FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season,” Mayorkas warned on Air Force One. “We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have.”

While the residents of washed-out communities would dispute that their needs are being met by the federal government, FEMA has spent over a billion dollars in disaster funding on illegal migrants. FEMA’s website says the agency allocated nearly $364 million in the fiscal year 2023 and $650 million for the 2024 fiscal year to the “Shelter and Services Program” “to provide humanitarian services to noncitizen migrants following their release from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).’”

“Over the last 4 years the Biden-Harris admin has steadily transformed FEMA — the agency responsible for responding to natural disasters like Hurricane Helene — into an illegal alien resettlement agency that emphasizes DEI over public safety,” reported America First Legal, a conservative non-profit, which published a series of posts outlining where FEMA spent tax dollars.

Biden Officials Do Not Track Illegal Aliens Who Enter the US without IDs – Not Sure Who They Are – But Allow Them to Travel on Planes

The US Department of Homeland Security, under the direction of Director Alejandro Mayorkas did not assess the risks associated with releasing millions of noncitizens without identification into the United States and allowing them to travel on domestic flights.

Since Joe Biden opened the US southern border on his first day in office, more than 10 million illegal aliens have entered into the United States. Another 1.2 million inadmissable aliens were flown into the country at ports of entry through the Biden-Harris CBP One policy.

Last week ICE released a shocking report on the illegal alien killers and sex abusers released into the US. According to the report from the Deputy Director of ICE Patrick Lechleitner sent to Congressman Tony Gonzalez, over 662,000 illegal immigrants with criminal histories are currently on ICE’s national docket. Of that staggering number, over 13,000 illegal immigrants have been convicted of homicide, and more than 15,000 have been convicted of sexual assault.

Rep. Matt Gaetz Says DHS Source Told Him There Are Five “Assassination Teams” Inside U.S. Targeting Trump

Congressman Matt Gaetz warns that a senior DHS official told him there are at least five “assassination teams” inside the United States targeting Donald Trump.

Gaetz made the comments after gunman Ryan Routh tried to kill the former president after hiding in the bushes for nearly 12 hours outside Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.

Routh somehow knew where Trump would be to within 500 yards despite the round of golf not being on the former president’s schedule and the decision to play being last minute.

Florida Republican Rep. Gaetz told the Real America’s Voice podcast that even before the second assassination attempt, he was given some shocking news.

The Obscure State Department Bureau That Fosters Global Illegal Migration

It is remarkable how many well-informed conservative foreign policy strategists have never even heard of the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM).  Even those who closely follow immigration and border issues rarely understand the role PRM plays in accommodating and promoting the worldwide movement of illegal migrants.

PRM should not be confused with State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs, which is in charge of issuing visas to foreigners to enter the United States and is known in Foggy Bottom as “CA.” Because so many interest groups constantly want more visas to be issued, CA gets its fair share of scrutiny from the media, lobbyists, and members of Congress. The PRM bureau has nothing to do with visas, and so it often flies under the conservative policy radar.

PRM manages, along with DHS, the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. Under Biden-Harris, PRM currently resettles around 125,000 refugees annually. Trump had cut admissions down to 15,000.

While 125,000 a year is not an insignificant number of admissions—and Biden-Harris want it to massively grow—the figure is still small potatoes compared to the millions of illegal and quasi-legal migrants that this administration has admitted into the country.

Thus, even more consequential than PRM’s refugee admissions is the bureau’s diplomatic support and international grant-giving to the worldwide “irregular” migration industry. PRM doles out around $4 billion annually, mainly to establishment international organizations such as the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

These multilateral organizations, funded by Washington, do more than manage genuine refugees and displaced persons. They are the juggernaut of today’s open-border ideology, taking resources from donor governments to promote concepts that chip away and undermine national borders, while advancing a global “right to migrate.”

When they go before Congress, PRM officials, of course, pay much lip service to the idea that their bureau’s international funding and diplomacy help keep would-be illegal migrants at home and discourage them from undertaking dangerous journeys. Surely, sometimes that happens, but that is not the primary and overarching mission of the grantees that take PRM funding.

It Was a Setup… REVEALED: Most Agents Protecting Trump During Attempted Assassination Were Homeland Security Personnel Who Received Only a ‘2-Hour Online Webinar’ Beforehand

On July 13, 2024, President Trump was shot in the ear during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The attempted assassin, Thomas Crooks, was seen staking out the area before the assassination attempt. Crooks somehow was able to carry a gun up on the roof, jump from roof to roof on two buildings, walk around on top of the roof, and then crawl up the metal roof before he started firing at President Trump.

Several Trump supporters were standing nearby screaming at police to take action, who did nothing before Crooks started firing off eight shots at the former president.

Since that day there are still no answers on how Crooks was able to fire off several shots at Trump during a rally and why President Trump was allowed on the stage.

It is now known that former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle and the agency denied repeated requests from worried agents on Trump’s detail for more security for the former president. It was denied.

On Tuesday, Senator Josh Hawley posted information from a whistleblower that is truly shocking. According to the whistleblower, the Homeland Security personnel who were assigned to Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania received only a “two-hour online webinar” for their training before protecting President Trump.

Senator Hawley included this in his letter:

“Whistleblower allegations to my office report that the only training received by many HSI agents reassigned to work protective details is a single two-hour webinar on Microsoft Teams featuring pre-recorded videos… These videos were not substantive and their playback was frequently riddled with technical mishaps leaving the HSI agents ill-prepared for the protective mission to which they were newly assigned.”

So DHS refused the Trump campaign requests for extra agents and then the majority of agents who were assigned to the Butler rally received only a ‘two-hour online webinar’ for their training.

It was a setup.

This is a shocking development.

House Report: Biden DHS Released At Least 99 Terror Watchlist Illegals Into U.S.

An interim staff report from the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement has confirmed that the Department of Homeland Security caught and released around 100 migrants on the federal government’s terrorist watchlist into the country between fiscal years 2021 to 2023.

The report notes that “Under the Biden-Harris administration, of the more than 250 illegal aliens on the terrorist watchlist who were encountered by Border Patrol at the southwest border between fiscal years 2021 and 2023, DHS has released into American communities at least 99, with at least 34 others in DHS custody but not yet removed from the United States.”

It also highlights that the “Border Patrol at the southwest border encountered aliens on the terrorist watchlist from 36 different countries, including places with an active terrorist presence such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Kyrgyzstan, Mauritania, Pakistan, Somalia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Yemen.”

“So far during fiscal year 2024, Border Patrol has encountered tens of thousands of illegal aliens nationwide from countries that could present national security risks, including 2,134 Afghan nationals, 33,347 Chinese nationals, 541 Iranian nationals, 520 Syrian nationals, and 3,104 Uzbek nationals,” the report also warns.

The report details one case in particular, that of 48-year-old Afghan national Mohammad Kharwin, a member of the terrorist group Hezb-e-Islami, whom federal agents arrested in April after he had been twice released into the country by the Border Patrol.

Must Be Election Year: Biden’s DHS Freezes Immigrant Parole Program Due to Fraud

It must be election year.

The Biden regime has temporarily frozen the CHNV Parole Program to due concerns of fraud. It’s hard to imagine they would care about a program that has currently flown over 500,000 people into the US when they have let well over 10 to 12 million illegals cross the border in the last few years.

The CHNV Parole Program, permits up to 30,000 people to be flown into the US each month from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela if they meet certain qualifications. It originally started in 2022 with Venezuela, then included Haiti, Cuba and Nicaragua by early 2023.

Fox News Reported:

EXCLUSIVE: The Biden administration has put a controversial program that allows tens of thousands of migrants from four nations to fly or travel directly into the U.S. on hold, after a report circulated internally showing significant amounts of fraud in the program.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed to Fox News Digital that “out of an abundance of caution,” it has temporarily paused the issuing of advance travel authorizations for the program — which allows up to 30,000 nationals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela (CHNV) to travel into the U.S. each month and enter legally under the administration’s use of parole if they meet certain conditions.

A congressional source had told Fox News Digital the pause came in mid-July after an internal report unearthed large amounts of fraud in applications for those sponsoring the applicants. DHS said the pause was occurring as it reviewed sponsor applications. The focus is on issues with supporter filings, and not with the filings from the beneficiaries of the program themselves.

“A congressional source tells Fox News Digital that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) stopped issuing travel authorizations to Venezuelans on July 6 and authorizations for the three remaining nationalities on July 18,” Fox News reported.

Biden Must be Held Accountable for his Actions.

The most immediate key person in the organizational chart below who was responsible for the assassination attempt fiasco has now resigned; Secret Service (USSS) Director Kimberly Cheadle, who reported to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Mayorkas is the next person who must go.

According to a report from the Washington Post, published on July 21, 2024, USSS leadership has denied repeated requests from Donald Trump’s security detail over a two-year period for additional resources, including more snipers and other security measures.

Mayorkas’s decision to deny additional Secret Service protection for Trump and the complete refusal of Secret Service protection for Kennedy has played a significant role in both presidential campaigns and endangered the lives of these candidates.

Mayorkas is now pressuring Trump not to hold any more rallies outside – as the “Secret Service” feels (there is that word again…) that they can’t protect Trump in such events. This could have a significant, potentially devastating impact on Trump’s election prospects, as these rallies are a key source of enthusiasm and donations for the Trump campaign.

Mayorkas Appoints Trump Hater to ‘Independent Review Panel’ on Trump Assassination Attempt

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas announced the appointment of a Trump-hating Democrat to an independent review panel tasked with investigating the government over the July 13 assassination attempt on President Trump.

Trump was wounded in the assassination attempt, with a bullet miraculously only hitting his right ear. One supporter was killed and two seriously wounded in the attack on Trump as he spoke at an outdoor campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on evening of July 13, 2024.

The shooter, Thomas Crooks, was killed by a sniper after opening fire on Trump from a nearby rooftop that was not protected by the Secret Service or local law enforcement.

The review was ordered by Joe Biden last week. Mayorkas named four members to the panel. Two were officials in Republican George W. Bush’s administration. One was a former police chief in Democrat-run Prince George’s County, Maryland and the fourth is former Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano (D) who served as Barack Obama’s first Homeland Security secretary.
