JUST IN: Another Georgia State Democrat Lawmaker Arrested and Charged with Defrauding Federal Government

Another Georgia Democrat state lawmaker has been arrested and charged with fraud.

Georgia state Rep. Karen Bennett was indicted by a federal grand jury on Monday for Covid fraud.

Bennett is a pro-BLM, defund the police activist.

Prosecutors said Bennett defrauded taxpayers after she obtained COVID-19 unemployment benefits, despite her business remaining open during the pandemic.

She was charged with one count of false statements.

According to WSB-TV, Bennett was released on a $10,000 bond.

WSB-TV reported:

A second Georgia lawmaker has been charged with defrauding taxpayers by receiving pandemic unemployment assistance that she was not entitled to.

A federal grand jury indicted State Rep. Karen Bennett (D-Stone Mountain) on Monday.

Prosecutors say she received $13,940 for her in-home physical therapy company, Metro Therapy Providers, which she says could not operate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, investigators say the company was only briefly closed, and remained open through the majority of the pandemic.

On her application, Bennett only reported receiving income from Metro Therapy and the Georgia General Assembly. But she failed to disclose that she was also employed through a church and receiving more than $900 weekly.

She was indicted on one count of making false statements.

Last month, Georgia Democrat state legislator Sharon Henderson was arrested and charged with defrauding the federal government.

Dems Screeched for Maduro’s Ouster—Until Trump Delivered It

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is rushing to block President Trump’s successful operation to arrest Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, labeling it “lawlessness” and a violation of congressional authority—despite Schumer himself and a string of Democrats and their media mouthpieces previously blasting Trump for failing to end the Maduro regime.

With Maduro now in custody and the U.S. overseeing a transition in Venezuela, Democrats have immediately cried foul, with Schumer appearing on ABC’s “This Week” to decry the move as unauthorized nation-building that will cost American lives and dollars.

Schumer declared, “The American people this morning are scratching their heads in wonderment and in fear of what the president has proposed,” adding, “We have learned through years when America tries to do regime change and nation building in this way, the American people pay the price in both blood and in dollars.”

Zohran Mamdani Appointee Calls to ‘Seize Private Property’ and Describes Home Ownership as White Supremacy

In a newly resurfaced video from 2018, Zohran Mamdani’s new ‘Tenant Advocate’ appointee in New York City, advocated for seizing private property and implied that home ownership is white supremacy.

She talks about how property is going to be collectivized and says it will mostly affect white people.

Do the people of New York City even realize what a completely insane band of radicals they have just put in power?

Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s newly appointed tenant advocate called to “seize private property” and blasted homeownership as a “weapon of white supremacy” in a series of pro-Communist social media posts.

Cea Weaver, Mamdani’s new director of the city Office to Protect Tenants, made the statements and urged her followers to elect more Communists in several lecturing posts on her now-deleted X account that were unearthed by internet sleuths.

“Seize private property!” she said on June 13, 2018.

“Private property including any kind of ESPECIALLY homeownership is a weapon of white supremacy,” she said then.

Weaver also pushed to “Elect more communists” in December 2017 — when a Harlem street corner was being renamed in honor of former Manhattan Rep. Vito Marcantonio, who was a Communist.

Kamala Harris Humiliates Herself Condemning Capture of Maduro

It’s been over a year now since her humiliating loss to President Donald Trump, yet for some reason, Kamala Harris still hasn’t figured out that she’s a joke and should fade away into the sunset rather than subject herself to future embarrassment for opening her mouth.

Like many other Democrats who have decided that opposing the capture of a dictator is the hill they want to die on, Kamala took to X on Saturday to condemn Donald Trump’s successful military operation that captured Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.

I guess she’s still on the DNC email list for the latest talking points.

“Donald Trump’s actions in Venezuela do not make America safer, stronger, or more affordable,” she claimed. “That Maduro is a brutal, illegitimate dictator does not change the fact that this action was both unlawful and unwise. We’ve seen this movie before. Wars for regime change or oil that are sold as strength but turn into chaos, and American families pay the price.”

Her post continued:

The American people do not want this, and they are tired of being lied to.

This is not about drugs or democracy. It is about oil and Donald Trump’s desire to play the regional strongman. If he cared about either, he wouldn’t pardon a convicted drug trafficker or sideline Venezuela’s legitimate opposition while pursuing deals with Maduro’s cronies.

The President is putting troops at risk, spending billions, destabilizing a region, and offering no legal authority, no exit plan, and no benefit at home.

America needs leadership whose priorities are lowering costs for working families, enforcing the rule of law, strengthening alliances, and — most importantly — putting the American people first.

As I pointed out yesterday, Trump has not gotten us into another war. This was a surgical strike that accomplished its objective without a hitch. The statement is curiously similar to pretty much every other Democrats’ statement on the successful mission.

Democrats Fundraise in Protest of Trump Admin’s Capture of Venezuelan Socialist Dictator Nicolás Maduro

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is fundraising in protest of the Trump administration’s capture of Venezuela’s illegitimate socialist dictator, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, Cilia Flores. 

“Another day, another unconstitutional war from Trump, who thinks the Constitution is a suggestion,” an email from the DNC reads, per Town Hall. “Congress has war powers — but Republican cowards are hiding under their desks while Trump orders an unauthorized attack against Venezuela. Trump promised peace, but has delivered chaos.”

“The most important thing we can do is elect more Democrats who will check this administration’s power,” the email continues. 

The email was reportedly sent the same morning President Trump ordered the arrest of Maduro for a long list of crimes, including narco-terrorism conspiracy, cocaine importation conspiracy, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices against the United States.
DNC Chairman Ken Martin also released a statement condemning the arrest and claiming the Trump administration acted illegally.

The Real Story of Eric Swalwell and Fang Fang, His Chinese ‘Honey Trap’ Spy

Chinese national Fang Fang, who adopted the Americanized first name “Christine”, was a suspected Chinese intelligence operative who embedded herself in U.S. political circles between 2011 and 2015.

One of the politicians she cultivated was California Congressman Eric Swalwell, now a candidate for governor of California.

Fang arrived in the United States in 2011, enrolling at California State University, East Bay.

Despite appearing around 10 years older than most students, she quickly rose to prominence, becoming president of both the Chinese Student Association and the campus chapter of Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs.

Fang’s activities extended well beyond campus. She spent substantial time attending Democratic Party networking events throughout the Bay Area and elsewhere, placing herself in close proximity to rising political figures.

In October 2012, she was photographed at a political event alongside Eric Swalwell, who at the time was a Dublin City Council member campaigning for Congress.

During that campaign, Fang reportedly brought Swalwell donors, helped raise funds, and recommended at least one intern who ultimately worked in Swalwell’s congressional office.

After his election, Swalwell was appointed to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence in January 2015, later serving as the lead Democrat on the CIA oversight subcommittee.

Fang’s political reach was not limited to Swalwell. She was photographed with a Chinese consular official and Russell Lowe, the longtime office director for Senator Dianne Feinstein, who was later revealed to have been a Chinese intelligence agent himself.

Whoops: Schumer’s ‘Open Mouth, Insert Foot’ Moment as Dems’ Hypocrisy Hits Hyper Drive on Venezuela

Democrats have been losing their minds over President Donald Trump’s actions in Venezuela to capture and arrest the dictator Nicolás Maduro, who was wanted in the United States and had been under indictment for five years.

We saw Democrats calling it illegal and claiming that Trump needed Congressional approval to effect Maduro’s arrest. Their hypocrisy is something else, given the actions taken by Democrats like Barack Obama in the past. 

Do they recall how many civilians Barack Obama in foreign countries reportedly took out with his drone actions, which led to some referring to him as the Droner-in-Chief?

Obama embraced the US drone programme, overseeing more strikes in his first year than Bush carried out during his entire presidency. A total of 563 strikes, largely by drones, targeted Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen during Obama’s two terms, compared to 57 strikes under Bush. Between 384 and 807 civilians were killed in those countries, according to reports logged by the Bureau.

Do they recall Obama’s actions in Libya that went on for months without Congressional approval? They even had ABC questioning his actions. Can anyone forget this?

He has issued several controversial rulings adverse to Donald Trump and his administration. These rulings have spanned Trump’s time as a private citizen, his first presidency, and his current second term.

The ongiong Somali fraud scandal has brought an end to Givenror Tim Walz’s political carrer in Minnesota.

He has announced he will not seek a third term this morning.

In September, I announced that I would run for a historic third term as Minnesota’s Governor. And I have every confidence that, if I gave it my all, I would succeed in that effort.

But as I reflected on this moment with my family and my team over the holidays, I came to the conclusion that I can’t give a political campaign my all. Every minute I spend defending my own political interests would be a minute I can’t spend defending the people of Minnesota against the criminals who prey on our generosity and the cynics who prey on our differences.

So I’ve decided to step out of the race and let others worry about the election while I focus on the work.

I know this news may come as a surprise. But I’m passing on the race with zero sadness and zero regret. After all, I didn’t run for this job so I could have this job. I ran for this job so I could do this job. Minnesota faces an enormous challenge this year. And I refuse to spend even one minute of 2026 doing anything other than rising to meet the moment. Minnesota has to come first – always.

Axios reports that Senator Amy Klobuchar and Attorney General Keith Ellison could now jump in the race.

Senate to vote on war powers measure following Maduro ouster

Sen. Tim Kaine said he will force a vote next week to block further military action against Venezuela without congressional approval in the wake of President Donald Trump’s operation to capture Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.

Kaine, who has so far been unable to get Congress to stop Trump’s Latin American military operations, called the move to oust Maduro without congressional approval “a sickening return to a day when the United States asserted the right to dominate” the Western Hemisphere.

“My bipartisan resolution stipulating that we should not be at war with Venezuela absent a clear congressional authorization will come up for a vote next week,” Kaine said in a statement. “We’ve entered the 250th year of American democracy and cannot allow it to devolve into the tyranny that our founders fought to escape.”

Test vote

While the vote, which will occur when the Senate returns from its holiday break, comes after the fact, it would require Trump to seek congressional approval for further attacks if enacted.

The vote will also be a key test of support among Republicans for Trump’s aggressive move. While previous efforts to restrict Trump have failed for lack of GOP support, the administration’s actions could sway some Republicans who have expressed concerns about heightened tensions with Venezuela.

Kaine told reporters on a Saturday call that Republicans “cannot pretend anymore” that Trump’s rhetoric was just a “bluff” or a “negotiating tactic.”

“That makes me hope that we’ll get more votes on the resolution,” Kaine said, adding that it was time for Congress to “get its ass off the couch” on its own warmaking authority.

Administration officials may have to work to keep skeptical Republicans onside, and top Republicans say they expect to be briefed when they return to Washington.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune said he expects “further briefings from the administration on this operation as part of its comprehensive counternarcotics strategy.” House Speaker Mike Johnson added that the Trump administration is working to schedule briefings for lawmakers when they return.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer spoke with Kaine on Saturday about his war powers vote and that Democrats would be trying to build public pressure on Republicans to break ranks.

“We are saying to the Republicans, this is your responsibility,” Schumer told reporters. “President Trump is a member of your party. You’ve gone along with him over and over again. This is one time you got to resist him. It’s too serious.”
