Watergate’s Continuing Legacy: Dishonest Media and Clueless Republicans

June 17, 2025, the recent 53rd anniversary of the Watergate break-in, should remind us of the scandal’s scurrilous aftermath. What was promised to be a new millennium of aggressive, yet punctilious, journalism turned out to be a continuation of the Washington Post‘s reckless, essentially untruthful, Watergate reporting, clearly biased in favor of Democrats.

While Republicans in the wake of Watergate vowed to be beyond reproach, like Caesar’s wife, they were indeed generally rectitudinous but yet continued the same stupidity that ruined the Nixon administration. Because neither side addressed these failures, they persist today.

We have written extensively about the Post‘s fraud during Watergate, but not enough about the Nixon Administration’s idiocy in dealing with what should have been nothing more than an embarrassing dustup.

While the FBI was diligently investigating the Watergate burglary and the Post was sleuthing (however conspiratorially with the DNC), the White House reacted by rigorously keeping itself in the dark. The occupants of the Oval Office assumed that someone within their associated group had done something wrong, but were afraid to pinpoint exactly what it was and who did it.

The White House inner circle could not have been more wrong-footed in its own deliberately restrained inquiry. For instance, it immediately assumed it should go into cover-up mode without knowing what it was covering up. It unwisely chose White House counsel John Dean to be its hub, even though Dean had no relevant experience, and any modest inquiry would have cast a suspicious eye toward him. To be fair, the entire group assumed from the outset that all involved must keep quiet, including among themselves.

One avenue of knowledge the White House, through Dean, shut off was G. Gordon Liddy, the burglary supervisor who, seemingly heroically, refused to talk for six years. But more harmful was the CRP lawyers’ decision not to provide legal representation for wiretap monitor Alfred Baldwin, III. In so doing, the reputedly savvy Republicans lost the opportunity to determine what he was listening to and what burglary team leader James McCord had said and done in Baldwin’s presence. So two key witnesses, who could have provided exculpatory information absolving higher officials, were lost to the Oval Office.

The Nixon Administration would have learned what Democrats later suppressed: that the project was aimed at listening to out-of-town Democrats talking to young ladies about their upcoming tawdry assignations. They would have gained clues that this may well have been a CIA operation run by infiltrating agents, the “retired” CIA agent James McCord working as his cover for the campaign (“CRP”), and White House consultant and “retired” CIA agent Howard Hunt.

Alleged Minn. Assassin Says Gov. Tim Walz Wanted Him To Kill Sen. Amy Klobuchar

The man accused of shooting two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses reportedly wrote in a letter to the FBI that Gov. Tim Walz also wanted him to assassinate Sen. Amy Klobuchar, according to a bombshell report from the Minnesota Star Tribune. A Walz did not deny the allegation when commenting on the report.

Citing two people familiar with letter’s contents, the Star Tribune reported Friday that Boelter claimed “Gov. Tim Walz instructed him to kill U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar so that Walz could run for the U.S. Senate.”

Boelter does have a loose link to Walz, who ran for Vice President last year on Kamala Harris’s ticket. Boelter was appointed to the workforce development board by then-Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton in 2016 and then reappointed in 2019 by Walz to a four-year term that expired in 2023.

However, the Star Tribune reported that Boelter’s letter reflected the ramblings of a mentally ill man, downplaying the likelihood that what he says about Walz is true.

The letter is the clearest evidence yet of Boelter’s mindset after the targeted violence against Minnesota politicians last week. It is incoherent, one and a half pages long, confusing and hard to read, according to two people familiar with the letter’s contents,” the newspaper reported. “It includes Boelter alleging he had been trained by the U.S. military off the books, and that Walz, who is not running for Senate, had asked him to kill Klobuchar and others.”

Hennepin County Attorney spokesperson Daniel Borgertpoepping reportedly responded to the letter, saying that “due to the seriousness of the allegations it contains, we will state only that we have seen no evidence that the allegations regarding Governor Walz are based in fact.”

Instead of denying the allegation, a Walz spokesman reportedly gave a rambling non-answer.

This tragedy continues to be deeply disturbing for all Minnesotans,” said the spokesperson, Teddy Tschann

“Governor Walz is grateful to law enforcement who apprehended the shooter, and he’s grateful to the prosecutors who will ensure justice is swiftly served,” Tschann said.

Review of Bilderberg 2025: AI Drones, Technocracy and the Transatlantic Alliance

The Bilderberg conference, an elite three-day get-together of business, political and academic elites — largely ignored by the mainstream media — is over for another year. At the 2025 conference, held at a five star hotel in Stockholm, around 120 politicians, military leaders, academics and corporate CEOs discussed the pressing issues of the day such as the US economy, depopulation, the Middle East, Ukraine and AI.

Gathered at the Grand Hotel alongside the Finnish president and the King of the Netherlands were the heads of huge multinational companies such as BP, Santander, Saab, Citigroup, Microsoft and a healthy smattering of tech billionaires such as PayPal founder Peter Thiel and former Google boss Eric Schmidt. The amount of private wealth at Bilderberg is giddying, many of the biggest conglomerate bosses are representatives of vast family holdings, such as Robert Maersk Uggla, chair of Møller-Maersk, the fifth generation of the Maersk family to lead the company.

American delegates at this year’s conference included Admiral Samuel Paparo, head of the US Indo-Pacific Command, Republican congressman Jason Smith, and one of Trump’s closest economic advisors, Robert Lighthizer, who has been a vocal advocate of US trade tariffs against China. They were joined by two senior members of the Trump administration: Kevin Harrington, a senior director at the National Security Council and Michael Kratsios, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Kratsios and Harrington are both, predictably, former employees of Peter Thiel. Looking somewhat exhausted, Thiel was in and out of the Bilderberg venue all weekend, never resting, perhaps never even sleeping. Too much to do. Too many side meetings to attend.

The list of power players at the meeting would be less concerning were it not for the plethora of public officials also attending the conference, including the Greek PM, the vice president of the EU parliament, the Polish foreign minister, the UK minister for Health and Social Care, and a handful of EU commissioners. The summit was also thick with finance ministers, including those from Canada, Germany, Sweden and Turkey. The Norwegian finance minister was also present – Jens Stoltenberg, former co-chair of the group, is a conference veteran attending as the head of NATO, until he was replaced in the role by another Bilderberg regular, former prime minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte.

The Stockholm conference appears to have been conceived as a welcome to Sweden and Finland upon first entering NATO. In fact, the negotiator for the Scandinavian NATO deal, Oscar Stenstrom, was also the Bilderberg 2025 conference organiser. He now works for the Bilderberg steering committee member, Marcus Wallenberg, who hosted the meeting — funding it largely through donations from the Wallenberg family’s Investor AB group. The Wallenberg family was also represented at the conference by Marcus’s cousin Jacob, also a former Bilderberg steering committee member; it’s clear that the Swedish seat on the Bilderberg steering committee is a family one .

Although the celebratory NATO party, attended by the Swedish prime minister Ulf Kristofferson, lasted for Thursday night, it wasn’t long before the hangover set in when Sweden and Finland woke up to being part of NATO with World War 3 very much on the horizon. Several delegates such as the Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis quickly and discreetly left the conference on the Friday morning — an interesting development given that the Israeli government’s official plane, The Wing of Zion, landed in Athens, Greece at 1.06pm on Friday 13th June.

Romanian Citizen Pleads Guilty to ‘Swatting’ Numerous Members of Congress, Churches, and a Former U.S. President

Thomasz Szabo, 26, of Romania, pleaded guilty today in U.S. District Court to being the leader of a years-long conspiracy that targeted victims across the United States with “swatting” and bomb threats. Szabo and his co-conspirators falsely reported ongoing violent emergencies at government buildings, houses of worship, and private residences, including the homes of senior government officials.

The plea was announced by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro, Attorney General Pamela Bondi, U.S. Secret Service Special Agent in Charge Matt McCool of the Washington Field Office, U.S. Secret Service Special Agent in Charge William Mancino of the U.S. Secret Service’s Criminal Investigative Division, FBI Assistant Director in Charge Steven J. Jensen of the Washington Field Office, FBI Special Agent in Charge Alvin M. Winston, Sr., of the Minneapolis Field Office, and the U.S. Capitol Police.

Szabo, aka “Plank,” “Jonah,” and “Cypher,” pleaded guilty before U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson to one count of conspiracy and one count of threats and false information regarding explosives. Sentencing is scheduled for October 23.

“This defendant’s targeted and ruthless behavior put countless people in danger, including law enforcement, public officials, and ordinary citizens,” said U.S. Attorney Pirro. “Swatting attacks, that is, falsely reporting an ongoing threat of violence at a victims’ home address for the purpose of provoking a police response there, drain precious resources and can result in major injury or even death. Anyone who hijacks police resources for senseless crimes like these will have to answer for their actions.”

“This defendant led a dangerous swatting criminal conspiracy, deliberately threatening dozens of government officials with violent hoaxes and targeting our nation’s security infrastructure from behind a screen overseas,” said Attorney General Bondi. “This case reflects our continued focus on protecting the American people and working with international partners to stop these threats at their source.”

“This plea agreement is a testament to the extraordinary investigative work, tenacity, and global reach of the U.S. Secret Service and our partners,” said Special Agent in Charge McCool. “This perpetrator hid behind a computer screen on the other side of the world believing he could commit these crimes with impunity. It was a gross miscalculation to underestimate our determination in pursuing and bringing to justice those who would commit these crimes, wherever they may be.”

“This individual’s actions put innocent people, including government officials, at risk,” said Special Agent in Charge Mancino of the U.S. Secret Service’s Criminal Investigative Division. “The U.S. Secret Service and our domestic and international partners worked tirelessly to ensure that this individual was identified and brought to justice.”

“Swatting is not just a prank, it is a serious violation of the law,” said Assistant Director in Charge Jensen of the Washington Field Office. “Today’s guilty plea makes clear those engaged in these actions will face justice.”

Romanian National Going by Three Aliases Pleads Guilty to Swatting a Former U.S. President and Over 75 Others – Same Person Who Swatted Catturd Three Times

An Eastern European national using three aliases has admitted his guilt in a swatting ring that doxxed several public officials, including a former U.S. president, the DOJ announced on Monday.

As The New York Post reported, 26-year-old Thomasz Szabo was a key figure in a years-long conspiracy. Szabo and a co-conspirator, 21-year-old Serbian national Nemanja Radovanovic, targeted about 100 people in total, including Congressional members, governors, executive branch officials, and state officials.

According to the Justice Department, Szabo placed fake 911 calls, boasted that emergencies were taking place at the homes of top government officials, and threatened to blow up government buildings and houses of worship. Szabo used the aliases “Plank,” “Jonah,” and “Cypher” to cover his tracks.

Notably, he and Radovanovic did not specifically target individuals based on their political party affiliation. For those wondering about the president targeted by Szabo, he was not named in the indictment.

New evidence could blow open the Oklahoma City bombing case

For years, the FBI denied that key evidence existed in the Oklahoma City bombing. But court documents, leaked files, and eyewitness accounts suggest a darker truth buried beneath the official story.

President Bill Clinton visited a church in Oklahoma City on April 19 to mark the 30th anniversary of the 1995 bombing that resulted in the deaths of 168 people. In his remarks, Clinton said we “owe” it to the victims to “do better” in honor of their sacrifice. But just like three decades ago, commemorating the bombing still requires airbrushing a mountain of contradictory evidence.

Clinton’s Justice Department owed the nation the full truth about the bombing. Instead, it spun a cover story that both distorted the past and endangered the future, leaving the American people exposed to new threats.

Among the most striking but forgotten facts surrounding the Oklahoma City bombing is the mystery of “John Doe 2,” a man 24 eyewitnesses claimed to have seen in the Ryder truck with Timothy McVeigh. The FBI now insists he never existed.

After the bombing, the media abandoned its role as a watchdog and became, in too many cases, an enabler of the official narrative of lone-wolf terror. It professed that the FBI acted swiftly and heroically, the Justice Department delivered justice, and President Clinton led the country through its pain with grace and resolve.

Fortunately, not everyone gave up on the truth. Today’s most relentless truth-seekers are anonymous digital investigators and citizen journalists, armed with Freedom of Information Act filings, archived footage, and a hunger to uncover what the gatekeepers tried to hide.

I’ve been part of one such effort for almost two decades. Working alongside attorney Jesse Trentadue, I’ve investigated the likely connection between the Oklahoma City bombing and the horrific 1995 death of Jesse’s brother, Kenneth, in federal custody. Jesse’s FOIA lawsuits unearthed shocking documents about the FBI’s concealed activities — clues that led us deeper into the bureau’s involvement than we could have imagined.

Then, a former FBI undercover operative came forward. What he revealed gave us a key piece of the puzzle. And yet for all we’ve uncovered, the vaults of secrecy remain shut.

Which brings us to a critical moment. On March 26, Trentadue submitted a letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, urging the release of a decade-old sealed deposition from that very whistleblower. The contents of that deposition could expose the true scope of PATCON — the FBI’s sweeping 1990s operation to infiltrate alleged right-wing extremist groups — and potentially tie it directly to the Oklahoma City bombing.

This is a test of whether the Trump administration will honor its promises of transparency. Very few are aware that the Oklahoma City bombing was caught on camera. We know this not just from speculative claims but from on-the-record sources — contemporaneous media reports, corroborating federal files, and sworn FBI testimony. The footage exists. It’s a documented fact. Yet the tapes remain hidden. Authorities only released video of the aftermath.

For over a decade, the FBI fought Trentadue in court to keep the video out of public view. The footage may prove conclusively that McVeigh was not acting alone. If made public, the tapes could shatter the myth of lone-wolf domestic terror. They could implicate associates of McVeigh who were never charged.

Further, the videos could show that 168 Americans were murdered not just by a madman but by a preventable failure of federal surveillance — or worse, by a deliberate cover-up. This cover story has allowed neo-Nazi terrorists to slip through the cracks, denied justice to the victims, and kept the American public in the dark for far too long.

Oklahoma City Bombing 30 Years Later — Why The Government Blew Up A Daycare Center

Last month was the 30th anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing of 1995, where, according to the “government” and monopoly media, a federal building in Oklahoma City was bombed by a white supremacist named Tim McVeigh, acting alone, who parked the bomb next to the building’s day care center.

If you have ever heard me tell the story in interviews, the Oklahoma City bombing was the event that “woke me up” to the criminality of the organized crime “government.”

I was a researcher working at one of the “Big 4” think tanks in Washington DC, at the time, and I had a $3,000-per-month LexisNexis terminal, which allowed me to access any article published in any newspaper, magazine, or other periodical. I quickly realized the story the monopoly Mainstream Media was telling was very different from what was coming from the local Oklahoma media and alternative media.

I initiated my own investigation into the bombing, utilizing all the resources at my disposal at one of the world’s top think tanks. I quickly realized that the ATF and the FBI were the primary suspects in blowing up a day care center in the federal building.

Colombian woman sentenced in Florida to 20 years in prison for kidnapping, drugging two US soldiers in Bogotá

Colombian national has been sentenced to over 20 years in federal prison for her role in the drugging, kidnapping, and robbery of two US military service members in Bogotá, Colombia.

Kenny Julieth Uribe Chiran, 35, was sentenced in the Southern District of Florida to 262 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. She was also ordered to pay $24,115 in restitution. In March 2025, she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to kidnap internationally protected persons.

According to the US Justice Department, the incident occurred on the evening of March 5, 2020. The two US soldiers, on temporary duty in Bogotá, had visited a local pub in an entertainment district after watching a soccer match. There, Uribe Chiran and a co-conspirator approached them and secretly drugged their drinks with benzodiazepines. Once incapacitated, the soldiers were kidnapped, robbed of valuables and financial information, and later abandoned in separate locations across the city.

“Uribe Chiran and her co-defendants mercilessly preyed on US soldiers when they drugged their drinks, stole their valuables, and left them incapacitated on the street,” said Matthew R. Galeotti, Head of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division. “Kidnapping and assaulting two US military service members is deplorable, and the Criminal Division will continue to prioritize protecting our service members through these prosecutions.”

US Attorney Hayden P. O’Byrne for the Southern District of Florida echoed that sentiment: “Kidnappings and assaults against US service members will not be tolerated. To those who would dare commit such reprehensible acts against America’s heroes, know this: We will identify you; we will find you; and we will prosecute you as aggressively as the law permits.”

Trump’s Former Spokesperson Liz Harrington SLAMS FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino for Downplaying Trump Butler Assassination Plot

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino is facing fierce backlash from conservatives after downplaying the chilling July 13th assassination attempt on President Donald J. Trump at the Butler, Pennsylvania rally — and none other than Trump’s former spokesperson, Liz Harrington, is leading the charge.

During a recent appearance on Fox News Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, Bongino, who once earned grassroots praise as a fearless whistleblower of Secret Service failures, appeared to parrot the official FBI line, offering a stunning defense of the so-called “investigation” into the Trump rally attack.

Bongino: You know what, Maria? Kash is not kidding. We’ve been personally briefed extensively on every single detail, nugget, and tendril of this case. One is actively in court right now, so out of respect for the case, it’s probably more appropriate that I stay quiet on that.

However, I’m not going to tell people what they want to hear—I’m going to tell you the truth. And whether you like it or not is up to you.

If there was a big, explosive “there” there—given my history as a Secret Service agent and my personal friendship, as the Director does, with the President—give me one logical, sensible reason we would not have [told you]. If you can think of one… there isn’t.

In some of these cases, the “there” you’re looking for is not there. I know people… I get it. I understand. It’s not there. If it was there, we would have told you.

Liz Harrington, Trump’s former spokesperson and trusted ally, obliterated Bongino’s comments.

“I’m sorry, the investigation into J13 is closed? Who were you briefed by? The people who came in, hosed down the crime scene, cremated the body, stonewalled congressional investigators, and lawyered up the family?

There is a “there” there because we know NOTHING about Crooks, or who he was talking to.

If this is true, they need to come out with everything they know about why and HOW a 20 year old pulled that off.

The former FBI director just called for ANOTHER hit on President Trump. We must get serious about what is going on.”

Former Massachusetts State Police Sergeant Convicted of Bribery and Extortion Conspiracy

A former Sergeant with the Massachusetts State Police (MSP) was found guilty today by a federal jury in Boston of orchestrating a series of schemes to give false passing scores to certain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) applicants, including individuals who had failed or did not take the CDL skills test, as part of years-long bribery and extortion conspiracies.

Gary Cederquist, 59, of Stoughton, was convicted of two counts of conspiracy to commit extortion, one count of extortion, six counts of honest services mail fraud, three counts of conspiracy to falsify records, 19 counts of falsification of records and 17 counts of false statements. Cederquist was acquitted of one count of conspiracy to commit extortion, two counts of extortion, three counts of falsification of records and three counts of false statements. U.S. District Court Judge Indira Talwani scheduled sentencing for July 24, 2025.

In January 2024, Cederquist was charged in a 74-count indictment along with three other MSP troopers and two civilians:

  • Former Trooper Calvin Butner, 64, of Halifax;
  • Former Trooper Perry Mendes, 64, of Wareham;
  • Former Trooper Joel Rogers, 56, of Bridgewater;
  • Scott Camara, 44, of Rehoboth; and
  • Eric Mathison, 48, of Boston.

All of Cederquist’s co-defendants have accepted responsibility for their involvement in the conspiracy. Butner, Mendes, Camara and Mathison have pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing.

“It is never a good day when a member of law enforcement is convicted of a crime, especially when it is a crime that compromises public safety. Gary Cederquist chose bribery and extortion over his oath to protect the community which he was sworn to serve. His greed put the public at risk when he devised a scheme to issue commercial driver’s licenses to applicants who had never taken a real test to operate heavy commercial vehicles on the roads and highways of Massachusetts,” said United States Attorney Leah B. Foley. “The U.S. Attorney’s Office has the utmost respect for law enforcement, but we will not stand idly by if they violate the law.”

“Today’s verdict confirms that Gary Cederquist abused his authority as a Massachusetts State Trooper to recklessly bypass long-established testing and safety parameters for commercial driver’s license applicants. He did so only to enrich himself, while turning a blind eye to the potential public safety implications of ill-prepared and unqualified commercial truck drivers navigating our streets and our highways,” said Homeland Security Investigations New England Special Agent in Charge Michael J. Krol. “Public servants are held to a higher standard and Cederquist not only let the citizens of the Commonwealth down but also disgraced the thousands of state troopers who so proudly and honorably wear the Massachusetts State Police uniform.”

“Today’s verdict sends a strong message to those who may be motivated by greed to abuse their positions—that they will be met with the full force of the criminal justice system,” said Elise Chawaga, Principal Assistant Inspector General for Investigations, Department of Transportation Office of Inspector General. “DOT OIG remains committed to working with our Federal law enforcement and prosecutorial partners to uphold motor carrier rules and regulations, which are integral to maintaining safety on our Nation’s roadways.”
